Maestro Bruno Zambrini's soundtrack masterpiece originally recorded for the the TV series "RACCONTI DI MARE" in 1970, directed by Nestore Ungaro. Mental Vintage Underwater Score, one of the best from Library/Soundtrack music production. Music is a total trip with insane Psychedelic and Underground beats to die for, killer drum breaks, acquatic Lounge & Bossa themes and huge Underwater drama moods. The loungy atmospheres remind of sea trips nostalgia with the flowing sweet scat vocals broken by the spaced-out Underwater marine vibes. Unmissable Italian OST!

The music of Elm Street is a huge part of the series, each film having its own unique sound and feel. Charles Bernstein created the original score, and Freddy's main theme that was used throughout the series. His score to the first film is nothing short of a landmark horror score and utterly defines American horror in the '80s - super downbeat, eerie and metallic. Christopher Young (HELLRAISER) supplied the score to FREDDY'S REVENGE, and takes the themes down a more orchestral route, layering sounds upon sounds to create a truly scary listen. Angelo Badalamenti (TWIN PEAKS) composed the score DREAM WARRIORS. Here he crafts moody textures and a woodwind section to create a dreamlike score that fits the theme of PART 3 perfectly. Craig Safan was bought on to compose THE DREAM MASTER, and with the help of a synth-clavier synthesizer he created one of the craziest horror scores of the '80s. Yeah, sure, it's scary and creepy, but it's also a ton of fun and totally unique. For THE DREAM CHILD, Jay Ferguson delivers a synth-heavy score with nods to fairground music and layers of church organs and weird choral samples. For THE FINAL NIGHTMARE, Australian composer Brian May mixes electronic and orchestrations to stunning effect and for the final film in the series. In NEW NIGHTMARE J. Peter Robinson gives us a super lush orchestrated nightmare that harkens back to Bernstein's original.

Based on the French graphic novel of the same name, Zombillenium is an animated film by Arthur de Pins and Alexis Ducord released in October 2017 after premiering at the Cannes Film Festival earlier in the year.

The story takes place in a horror theme park where real zombies, vampires and monsters entertain human tourists. It's a thankless task but everything changes for the disenchanted monsters when they are forced to turn meddling health and safety inspector, Hector, into one of them. Trapped and separated from his daughter, he becomes an integral part of the monsters' plan to turn the fortunes of the beleaguered theme park around.

The soundtrack, by Eric Neveux (with songs by Mat Bastard) is released digitally on October 13. French composer Neveux has scored over 55 feature films (including Just Like a Woman (2013), Two Men In Town (2014), La Route d'Istanbul (2016)), as well as music for TV (Borgia, Un Village Français) and put out an album under the name Mr. Neveux which was released on the UK's label Cup of Tea Records.

The vinyl has been produced to promote the film and is therefore extremely limited.

Quando Le Donne Avevano La Coda (When Women Had Tails) is the soundtrack of a bad italian ripoff of One Million Years B.C. recorded in the late 1960s when Morricone was at the height of his psychedelic period.

The music is colorful (that's an understatement!), bouncy, gooey, and completely irresistible. To Morricone fans, this is worth whatever you'd have to pay to get hold of it.

More than this, Quando Le Donne Avevano La Coda is one of the rarest Morricone' scores, originally released by CAM in 1970, it never gets a vinyl reissue since then. Orchestra directed by Bruno Nicolai, featuring Alessandroni's Cantori Moderni.

Reissued in its original artwork. Sound restoring and master done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio.

Everyday Is Kill is the first new material from Damon Baxter (aka Deadly Avenger) in 8 years. Having previously released records on the legendary D.C Recordings & Wall Of Sound imprints, we here at Death Waltz Originals are thrilled to be releasing this brand new LP. You will have heard Deadly Avenger even if you don't own any of his records - Over the last few years he has supplied music for trailers such as Ant Man, The Avengers & John Wick. He has created a neon-drenched nightmare of a record that can stand shoulder to shoulder alongside current synth wave heavyweights such as Le Matos, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator or composers such as Steve Moore and Cliff Martinez. It's an assured mix of speaker crunching synth bangers and more contemplative tracks.

Rick Wakeman - The Phantom Of The Opera
  • A1: Part 1
  • B1: Part 2
  • C1: Part 3
  • D1: Part 4

Rick Wakeman is an English composer, keyboardist, songwriter, author & actor that actually needs little introduction. He is best known for being in the progressive rock band 'YES' and for his solo albums released in the 1970s. Rick's early credits include playing on David Bowie's "Space Oddity" and on songs by T.Rex, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Lou Reed and Black Sabbath (among others). Mr. Wakeman's discography includes over 90 solo albums that range from several musical styles. To this date Rick continues to perform concerts worldwide in various capacities.

During the decades Rick Wakeman also composed numerous soundtracks and additional music for films. In 1990 this led him to compose a conceptual soundtrack for the legendary 1925 Lon Chaney silent film 'The Phantom Of The Opera' which was released under the moniker 'Phantom Power'. Unfortunately 'Phantom Power' was cut short and was missing more than half an hour of what Rick came up with - a silent realization required non-stop music for more than 80 minutes of action - yet, thought lost for quarter of a century, the score is now back in its original expanded form.

Combining baroque moves with romantic passages, sometimes in a rock setting, Wakeman's variations really bring back the original feel of this 1925 cinematic classic using a quasi-orchestral backdrop containing organs and harpsichord with the ghosts of Mozart and Bach lurking in the dark.

One Way Static Records is proud to present to you (for the FIRST TIME on vinyl) the complete unreleased recordings for 'The Phantom Of The Opera'. This is the original Rick Wakeman unedited soundtrack and contains the original mixes of the songs which are different to what eventually appeared on the Phantom Power' album. Spread over two glorious LP's, this set contains over 80 minutes & comes with extensive sleeve notes by Tim Scott.

* Rare Italian soundtrack album for crime movie, composed by Armando Trovajoli

* Features an original artwork and insert with rare photos and extensive liner notes

* 180gram heavy weight vinyl on black & limited orange color

A classic score by legendary Armando Trovajoli for the comedy-action-spy movie directed in year 1968 by Michele Lupo and produced by Marco Vicario. Fresh off the big hits of the SEVEN GOLDEN MEN, producer Vicario hired again Armando Trovajoli for this motion picture. M° Trovajoli has created a very loungey soundtrack filled with blues and jazzy elements. The highly talented choir of I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni plays an important role in the score, performing in its unique way. The composer has written a very cool Beat tune performed by the beat band The Casuals with a swinging London mood. This album has been carefully mastered using the original mono master tapes, with extra tracks not on the first pressing issued in 1968, one of them being a rare stereo mix.

The film

7 VOLTE 7 (aka Seven times Seven) is a comedy-action-spy genres movie directed in 1968 by Michele Lupo and produced by Marco Vicario, the producing force behind two huge worldwide hits, I SETTE UOMINI D'ORO (Seven Golden Men) in 1965 and IL GRANDE COLPO DEI SETTE UOMINI D'ORO (Seven Golden Men Strike Again!) in 1966. Because this new movie has a robbery plot planned by seven men, the title had to attract the audience with reference to the titles of two previous hit movies and work as a kind of unofficial sequel, even if the characters had nothing to do with those in the previous ones. The super cool scores by Armando Trovajoli had played such an important role in the huge success of the two GOLDEN MEN movies that producer Marco Vicario hired Trovajoli again for writing the music. The screenplay was written by Lorenzo Ruffino and the noted director Michele Lupo (TROPPO PER VIVERE...POCO PER MORIRE, AMICO, STAMMI LONTANO ALMENO UN PALMO, UN UOMO DA RISPETTARE, CALIFORNIA) was chosen for directing this motion picture, with photography by Franco Villa and editing by Sergio Montanari. The movie starred Gastone Moschin as Benjamin Burton, Lionel Stander as Sam, Raimondo Vianello as Bodoni Gordon Mitchell as Big Ben, Paolo Gozlino as Bingo, Nazzareno Zamperla as Bananas, Teodoro Corrà as Briggs, Erika Blanc as Mildred, Terry-Thomas as Police Inspector, Turi Ferro as Bernard, Adolfo Celi as Warden, Ray Lovelock as Mildred's Lover, Gladys Dawson as Miss Higgins and Neil McCarthy as Mr. Docherty. The movie was entirely shot in the center of London, capturing all the mood of the fantastic swinging London of the late sixties with cabs, double-decker buses and phone booths. Part of the movie was shot in the countryside outside London as location for various scenes of the seven thieves going around.

The music score

1968 was a very busy year for composer Armando Trovajoli writing about ten scores! Among them were unforgettable movies like RIUSCIRANNO I NOSTRI EROI A RITROVARE IL LORO AMICO SCOMPARSO IN AFRICA directed by Ettore Scola or LA MATRIARCA directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile. One more time M° Trovajoli used the super cool group I MARC 4 to perform the brilliant SEVEN TIMES SEVEN score. The composer has written a recurring main theme where the vocal talent of the I Cantori Moderni di Alessandro powerfully emerges in the score. All the Swinging London mood is fully captured thanks to this jazzy score where Blues and also Shake dance floor tunes are included. The explosive theme called Seven Times Seven' by Fishman and Trovajoli (which also appeared on the original single) is performed by the beat band called The Casuals and is also reprised in an instrumental version. The secondary theme is a Scottish mood tune performed by the ever so great I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni choir.

At the time of the album and single releases the score was recorded in mono only, but recently an ultra-rare stereo mix was discovered in the vaults that was included here for the pure joy of the fans of great Armando Trovajoli around the world!

THE SUMMERTIME KILLER (aka TARGET REMOVED - RICATTO ALLA MALA - UN VERANO PARA MATAR), a crime movie and a love story, was directed in 1972 by Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi and starred Christopher Mitchum, Karl Malden, Olivia Hussey and Claudine Auger among others. Academy Award winning composer Luis Bacalov wrote the score which perfectly reflects the core of the plot, with a strong mix of love and death. The composer alternates dramatically suspenseful score with 'source music' in the form of ballad, rock music and dance floor tunes, usually heard through a car radio or a jukebox typical of the 60's - 70's cinema. Remastered from original stereo master tapes.

THE SUMMERTIME KILLER (aka TARGET REMOVED - RICATTO ALLA MALA - UN VERANO PARA MATAR) was directed and produced in 1972 by Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi. This motion picture was financed by three countries, Italy, Spain and France, but the main location chosen by the production was Spain, more specifically the area of Entrepeñas lake in the Province of Guadalajara, central Spain, the area of Torrejón de Ardoz US Air Base and the Torres Blancas Building in Madrid which represented a very fine example of modern architecture in those days. Other important location in the movie is placed in the Plaza de Toros de las ventas in Madrid where director Isasi-Isasmendi shot an important scene of the movie. The most memorable scene is without a doubt the one pictured in the poster art, the main star riding a motorbike chased by gangsters and the location was a very fascinating place, the M30: Madrid's main ring road. According to the memoirs of director Isasi-Isasmendi (issued on his book Memorias tras la cámara') he had an intention to cast Kirk Douglas as the main star, but it never happened due the high guarantee requested by the Hollywood actor. Another candidate was Richard Widmark, but in the end the veteran actor Karl Malden accepted the role of the police officer John Kiley. The young stars in the film were: Olivia Hussey with Argentinian roots who was an important star at the time, following the international success of Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet' in 1968, Chris Mitchum, son of the Hollywood star Robert Mitchum. Again according to the director's memoirs Chris Mitchum was chosen more for his ability as motorbiker and athletic shape than for his acting skills. THE SUMMERTIME KILLER has all the elements of the noir with the couple of young lovers escaping, the veteran police officer who's doing the investigation and spectacular acrobatic action scenes: for the close shots on the motorbike Chris Mitchum was really riding it, but for the most risky sequences the great stuntman Rèmy Juienne (of James Bond fame) was involved. The movie was well distributed around the world with 40 copies in the US territory, and it was a good success after all for a 1972 Spanish production. This motion picture brought its director various awards and it became an hit in Europe, USA and especially in Japan. And 32 years later Quentin Tarantino, a huge fan of European Cinema and Film Music wanted pay tribute to this movie by using one theme from the Bacalov-penned soundtrack in KILL BILL VOL.2'. Argentine born composer Luis Enrique Bacalov (Buenos Aires, 1933) worked mostly in Italy during the sixties and the seventies writing scores for famous movies like westerns DJANGO' (1966) and IL GRANDE DUELLO' (1972) (later explored again musically by Tarantino respectively for DJANGO UNCHAINED' in 2012 and for KILL BILL VOL.1' in 2003) and working with some of the most famous Italian directors like Pasolini, Lizzani, Di Leo (his score for MILANO CALIBRO 9' remains one of his best soundtrack efforts.)

Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein - Stranger Things Season 1, Vol.2 - Ost

Edda Dell'Orso (born Edda Sabatini, February 16, 1935) is a legendary Italian singer who has long been the vocalist of choice for the Maestro Ennio Morricone. She has provided vocals, often wordless singing, to countless Morricone scores beginning in the mid-1960s and most famously for the immortal score to Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly). This collection compiles, for the first time in one place, many of her finest performances for Morricone, including such legendary films as C'era Una Volta Il West (Once Upon A Time in The West), Cosa avete fatto a Solange (What Have You Done to Solange), and the aforementioned The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The Goodfellas OST label, in conjunction with GDM, is pleased to present this one of a kind collection that highlights the unique talents of Edda Dell'Orso with her longtime collaborator, Ennio Morricone. The Maestro has long been acclaimed for his brilliant use of vocals in his scores and none of that would have been possible without the work of the Dell'Orso, who has been behind the scenes of his finest work for 5 decades.

Atlus Sound Team - Persona 5: Essential Edition

Persona 5 is a massive and epic opus of a game - the kind of 100-hour-plus JRPG journey that it is impossible to peel away from.

The soundtrack is equally epic, featuring hours of jazzy, poppy, energetic musical magic that you'll find yourself unconsciously whistling throughout the day. From upbeat vocally-driven songs (many featuring the incomparable throaty gusto of Japanese soul singer, Lyn Inaizumi) to more contemplative, instrumental riffs - it's an impressive ensemble of tunes.

Quite simply, Persona 5 is one of our favorite videogame soundtracks to date.

Nicolas Roeg's 1973 horror film Don't Look Now still retains the power to shock 44 years after its release and over that time has established itself as a seminal work in that genre. Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland are a married couple mourning the death of their young daughter, clinging on to her memory through a meeting with a mysterious psychic in Venice.

Native Venetian composer Pino Donaggio was discovered by a producer on the film and his music appealed to director Roeg. It became his debut film score, launching a long career and a close working relationship with Brian De Palma. Many of the instruments in this recording were played by the composer himself. As well as writing soundtracks, Donaggio wrote Dusty Springfield's chart-topping hit You Don't Have To Say You Love Me' (originally a hit in Italian as Io Che Non Vivo')

The cover was the winning design by artist Benio Urbanowicz in a competition organised by Creative Review and BFI Publishing for the 20th anniversary edition of the BFI Film Classics book on the film.

Ross Blake - Pretty En Rose Original Soundtrack

Fearlessly charting a journey into a world of mystery, Ross Blake's delirious original soundtrack to Pretty en Rose conjures up the glamorous milieu of its parent film, yet goes beyond to inhabit its own peculiar and poetic realm of the imagination.

Pretty en Rose was directed by underground auteur Angélique Bosio, and documents the career of cult Parisian fashion icon Fifi Chachnil. Blake and Bosio have been acquainted for some time following Blake's discovery of her earlier film Lilk Your Idols, which documented 'The Cinema of Transgression' in 80's-90's New York. Having then been similarly impressed by Blake's theatrical soundtracks and the experimental output of his former bands Buttonhead and Poino, she summarily enlisted him to provide a simpatico score to her film, a documentary that transcends Fifi Chachnil's diva persona, and looks behind the exotic veil of her idealised Parisian glamour-puss image to investigate the personality within.

Taking French musical themes and interweaving them with a plethora of influences ranging from Ennio Morricone to Angelo Badalementi, and Joe Meek to Angela Morley's Watership Down soundtrack, Blake creates a finely-wrought tapestry that exists on a plateau beyond kitsch and exotica, drifting effortlessly through realms of fantasy and hallucination. Nonetheless, the strains of luminaries such as Broadcast, The Advisory Circle and Basil Kirchin might make fitting comparisons for the elegant arrangements and golden filigree herein.

He was ably assisted in his mission by an assortment of guest artistes, including Dearbhla Minogue (The Drink / The Wharves) and Natalie Sharp (Lone Taxidermist / Gazelle Twin), who imbue the album with their ethereal and gymnastic vocals. Techno magician Karen Gwyer also contributes a compelling spoken word stream of consciousness to the track Karen Black, juxtaposed fragments of domestic gripery and film exposition. In exploring these tangents, the original film forms a jumping-off point for fresh adventure and ever more bewildering expressions of surrealist art.

Sven Libaek - The Music Of Sven Libaek

A collection of short film soundtracks taken from 1960s Australian documentary and public information films.
Modal and Bossa jazz composed by the esteemed Australian film composer.
12-track LP re-mastered from the original tapes.

The Sven Libaek soundtrack story begins here. The genesis of one of the most singular modern jazz voices to emerge in documentary film music during the 1960s and 70s, an unheralded style that melded European modernism, west coast jazz and Brazilian rhythms combined with a unique antipodean disposition; a musical vision inspired by a personal experience in an alien environment together with a sound shaped by a virtuoso team of Australian jazzmen. In the words of the albums original liner notes, 'A kaleidoscope of 1960s Australia...' Compiled here is a collection of soundtrack themes composed for various early 1960s documentary and public information films produced by the Australian Newsreel Company Cinesound. All pieces were composed in the short few years after Libaek immigrated to Australia and were first recorded prior to his landmark score to Vince Serventy's television series Nature Walkabout (1966). Reminiscent of future Libaek documentary soundtracks, To Ride A White Horse (1968) and of course the now legendary score to Ron And Valerie Taylor's Inner Space (1973), it is on this compilation that we first witness the unique elements that make his music so alluring, the inception of a refined jazz modernist with a wonderful pop sensibility. Hypnotic 7/4, 5/4, waltz and bossa rhythms combined with a strong focus on the tonal colours of the Vibraphone and Flute (played by John Sangster and Don Burrows respectively) but above all else, it is the first introduction to those highly individual and blissful Sven Libaek melodies.

The Tuscany big band La Band Del Brasiliano is back for their second studio album, Vol. 2, following Vol. 1 released in 2013. The band draw on the retro tradition of Italian easy listening, funk, and sexy comedy, presenting a set rich in sung songs and with a large number of original tracks compared to Vol. 1, as well as with the contribution of bows, percussions, and a complete brass section. In Vol. 2, you can locate three lines: One that develops the soul beat of the band, shamelessly retro in the musical and textual approach: mostly captured in straightforward songs, like "Impossibile", "Hey Ragazzo", and "Preparati Bambina", are a blend of rock n' roll and raw soul, with the two voices of Serena Altavilla (Solki, Mariposa, Calibro 35) and Davide Arnetoli. The other is a romantic soul, tied to passion and jealousy, that is expressed best in the almost noir atmosphere of the triptych "Un'ora In Più", "Il Tema Della Gelosia", and "Anna - La Domenica". But even in "La Verità" the story of emancipation and freedom is present, with musical veins from spy story. The third line is funk and eroticism, as in "Ti Voglio", the favorite Italian disco song of the band which anticipates the release of the album as a whole -- the sulfur "Eclisse Twist" from Antonioni's masterpiece, "Giovani Di Nulla" and "92° Minuto", conceived as imaginary characters of TV programs
