Fifty Shades Darker is a 2018 erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on the novel of the same name by E. L. James. Danny Elfman wrote and composed the score for the movie. Elfman is best known for his work scoring films and television shows, in particular his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton. Among his honours are four Academy Award nominations, a Grammy for Batman, an Emmy for Desperate Housewives, the 2002 Richard Kirk Award, and the Disney Legend Award.

Fifty Shades Darker is the third and final installment in the Fifty Shades film series after Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and Fifty Shades Darker (2017). The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively, and follows the newlywed couple as they must deal with the sins of their past when Ana's former boss (Eric Johnson) begins to stalk her.

The Girl on the Train is an American thriller drama film from 2016 directed by Tate Taylor and written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based on Paula Hawkins' New York Times No. 1 bestselling debut novel.

The film is the story of Rachel Watson's life post-divorce. She spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

The Score is composed and conducted by Grammy Award Winner Danny Elfman. One of his most famous compositions is the theme to the animated TV show The Simpsons. He also composed the Original Soundtrack of the recent film Goosebumps (MOVATM070) and the film classic Big Fish (MOVATM052).

Among his honors are four Academy Award nominations, a Grammy for Batman, an Emmy for Desperate Housewives, the 2002 Richard Kirk Award and the Disney Legend Award.

Elfman's scores for Batman and Edward Scissorhands were nominated for AFI's 100 Years of Film Scores.

Dustin O'Halloran, one half of the Ambient duo A Winged Victory for the Sullen, and Hauschka teamed up to write the score for the film.

In 2015 O'Halloran was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Theme Music for his original theme for Transparent.

Dustin also composed the critically acclaimed soundtrack for the 2016 movie Iris.

Hauschka, Volker Bertelmann, is a German pianist and composer. In 2007, he signed with 130701, an imprint of Fat Cat Records, who provided an early home to Sigur Rós and who have also championed artists with a similarly adventurous spirit to Bertelmann's own, including Max Richter and Sylvian Chameau. Hauschka is also a member of Music A.M., a side project involving Stefan Schneider of To Rococo Rot and Luke Sutherland of Long Fin Killie. In collaboration with Torsten Mauss he also releases electronic music under the alias Tonetraeger.

Sia wrote and performs the song "Never Give Up".

La scorta (The Escort) is a 1993 Italian crime film directed by Ricky Tognazzi. The film shows the difficulties of an honest, imperilled judge and his bodyguard of four men, trying to clean up a Sicilian town. Corrupt local politicians, working hand-in-hand with the Mafia, will stop at nothing to prevent exposure of their rackets.

The movie was an entry at the 1993 Cannes Film Festival and was a huge success in Italy, winning several David di Donatello awards.

Ennio Morricone (10 November 1928) composed and arranged the score of the movie. He has made scores and soundtracks for more than 500 film and television productions, making him one of the most influential and best-selling film composers since the late 1950s.

This release is available in the Ennio Morricone Classic Soundtrack series and will be strictly limited to 1.000 numbered copies on transparent vinyl.

Volker Bertelmann, better known by his stage name Hauschka, composed the music for the three-part HBO thriller Gunpowder. The soundtrack with the recognizable sound from his prepared piano play and the use of alien objects on top of the hammers and strings. The unique melodies he created for the series came to life by using a minimal approach and using the same frequency of the piano as the voice of the conversations. The impact of the scenes are furthermore supported by the use of strings and drums.

The miniseries Gunpowder is based on the real 17th century "Gunpowder Plot," in which a group of English Catholics led by Robert Catesby tried and failed to kill the King of England by blowing up the House of Lords. Harington stars as Catesby, who was a committed Catholic at a time when Protestant England persecuted Catholics relentlessly.

Herbie Hancock is one of the most prolific jazz pianists of the 20th century. A child prodigy, he played with the greats such as Donald Byrd and Miles Davis.

As he was a bit of a geek, he enjoyed gadgets & buttons and he was one of the first to embrace and master the electric piano, but he always stayed true to the acoustic sound. In fact, he always bounced back and forth between his electronic and acoustic sound, touching upon almost every development in R&B, Funk and Jazz while retaining an original and distinctive voice.

Death Wish from 1974 followed closely upon the success of Head Hunters (MOVLP030), and was the soundtrack to the infamous Charles Bronson-starring vengeance vehicle that preyed upon urban paranoia. The understated orchestrations mirror the quiet, desperate brooding of the Bronson's character, rarely had a leading role contained fewer words or more violence.

Death Wish is the new action adventure by the famous horror director Eli Roth. The music to the remake of the 1974 movie classic is created by the Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson, known for his compositions to sitcoms like New Girl and Community. Shortly after releasing his Black Panther score he's back with another fantastic effort. The different pieces offers piano melodies, string sections and atmospheric electronic parts. Ludwig's writing is influenced by modern music and he shifts away from the original 70s funky sound by Herbie Hancock. The dark an catchy tunes are mixed with sound effects, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. There are also beautiful classic sounds, which are more focused on the melancholic and emotional feelings. But it mostly consists of aggressive music parts, supporting the story of the movie.

Eli Roth is best known for creating the horror movies Hostel and Cabin Fever, but he also starred as an actor in the multiple awarded war film Inglourious Basterds, directed by Quentin Tarantino. His new movie Death Wish is the sixth installment of the Death Wish series. The remake of the 1974 movie stars Bruce Willis as Dr. Paul Kersey and Dean Norris as Detective Kevin Raines. The movies has been released march 2, 2018.

All That Jazz is the 1979 movie, directed by choreographer Bob Fosse, in which he tells his semi-autobiographical life story as the womanizing, drug-using dancer. The music arranged by Ralph Burns won an Academy Award for Best Music and it features "On Broadway" by George Benson which won a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 1979.

The movie stars Roy Scheider as Joe Gideon, the choreographer and dancer attempting to put on a new Broadway show while simultaneously directing a feature film about a stand-up comedian. Using drugs, chain-smoking, sleeping with his dancers leads to an open-heart surgery and he becomes aware of his mortality.

The Sound of Music is the final collaboration between the composer Richard Rodgers and the lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II and one of their most famous collaborations. A lot of the songs from the musical have become standards, like "Edelweiss", "Do-Re-Mi" and "My Favorite Things". The story about the Austrian woman who is sent to a villa to be the governess of the Trapp Family during the second world war became known as a great Broadway production in 1959, winning different awards. The movie adaption from 1965 reached an even bigger audience and is even now as popular as ever. One of the reasons for its popularity are the sing-along tracks that are part of the fantastic soundtrack. Shortly after releasing the 1965 film musical Oscar Hammerstein died of cancer. But even now decades later the music lives on in the countless reproductions of the musical and the many artists who performed all this classic songs.

Moving musis is out with it's third Soundtrack release, the 1982 Norwegian cult feature "Carl Gustav, the Gang and the Parking Bandits" A teenage flick set in the outskirts of Bergen. A Band of black dressed greedy corporate thugs are converting all the playgrounds in the area to parking lots. This doesn't fit well with the local youth, Carl Gustav and his friends finds all the clues, traces down the thugs and get their revenge at the castle finale. Well respected Norwegian director Ola Solum again hired Pete Knutsen (see also Operasjon Cobra MM02 ost) and his bandmates from Popol Ace for the job to make the score. And the result is a brilliant small group funky rock outfit with plenty of open breaks, quirky instrumentation and interludes. Songs from the film includes vocal tracks by famous Norwegian pop artist Jahn Teigen and the punk group Alle Tiders Duster.

The film is set in the United States, and the soundtrack sounds very American, starting from the first two songs, interpreted by the warm voice of Asha Puthli, an Indian singer who is also an actress in this movie, "The Whip" and "The Sound of Money" seem to belong to one of the many Stax productions of those years, only that they're played by... Goblin! The Roman band, whose line-up consisted of Claudio Simonetti (keyboards), Agostino Marangolo (drums), Fabio Pignatelli (bass) and Carlo Pennisi (guitar) was in those years nothing less than hyper-productive, but this did not prevent them from producing high-quality works. Digitmovies is releasing the complete OST by Riz Ortolani for the Spaghetti Western A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die.' Riz Ortolani composed one of his best scores during his long career with this one, an epic symphonic score where a heroic main theme played by horns and orchestra follows the group of courageous men to their deaths. At the time this OST was recorded, no LP or EP singles were released, but one melody was included as track # 1 on the B side of a rare Japanese album (Cinedisc 5010), on the OST from the movie The Amazones' (aka Le guerriere dal seno nudo ). First time ever issued on LP and reissued on CD for the first time in years. Limited edition of 300 copies on CD or 180 gram LP+CD.

Digitmovies is pleased to release the rare LP from the world of 1970s Italian cult TV. I Have Met a Shadow' (original title: Ho incontrato un'ombra') was broadcast by RAI Television in Italy in 1974. The success of this screenplay was also due to the OST written by Romolo Grano. The main theme "A Blue Shadow" became a record and radio hit thanks to composer Berto Pisano's evocative orchestral arrangement which was released on the EP single (along with "Tema di Silvia") (Ricordi SRL 10707). The leitmotif was also included on an LP under the same label (also containing other songs not related to the background music of this TV series). The true OST of I have met a shadow" ("Ho Incontrato un'ombra') only came out on a promotional album under RCA's label Pegaso, with Grano's music beautifully arranged and conducted by Berto Pisano. Fortunately we managed to recover the stereo master in excellent condition which had been assembled in the 70s for the limited edition audio vinyl. It's one of the rarest recordings on the collector's market. The master tape includes virtually everything that had been recorded for the TV series and which was re-edited in different scenes.

The sad and romantic main theme with a hint of mystery is introduced in Tr.1 - side A, and is reprised in a nostalgic guitar piece in Tr.5 - side A and again in Tr.4 - side B with electronic harpsichord. This beautiful main theme is alternated with danceable lounge music (Tr.2, Tr.4 - side A e Tr.2 - side B) and suspense (Tr.3 - side A e Tr.3 - side B), as well as with the sad and sensual "Tema di Silvia" for sax and orchestra (Tr.1 - side B). The recording session featured two extraordinarily gifted soloists: Oscar Valdambrini on trumpet and Edda Dell'Orso with her incredibly beautiful voice, an orchestral instrument in all respects. Limited edition of 250 copies.

"If I talk about THE LOST CONTINENT, I talk about one of my favorites, just because it gave me the opportunity to show myself as a man and as a composer. I was gone for more than six months in Indonesia. At that time, for an Italian, going to Indonesia was like Marco Polo going to China! I found there what I expected to find: in their forests were many bamboo trees with which I created incredible sounds. The bamboo, opened at the middle and laid on the floor, made sounds in pitch'. Using the diapason' I made a scale' out of it! (...) I did not have any problem in scoring this movie. I loved the Indonesian music, but I wrote music that reflected my personality. The music took ten days to write, arrange and conduct, and I am very satisfied with what I did (...)'
