3 Classic cuts from one of Detroit's finest house producer of all time Mr Terrence Parker. This EP features two brand new 2013 versions, don't miss out!

Written in an outdoor studio overlooking the Mallorcan countryside, Baby Prince (Wolf + Lamb's Gadi Mizrahi) and Crew Love newcomer Navid Izadi portray a moment of sun drenched inspiration on "The Last Dance EP".
The stage is set in the blinding heat of the Mediterranean summer where the Crew Love posse set up camp at a finca in St. Joan, Mallorca. An open ended studio visit extended to PillowTalk yielded the extraordinary talent of their ever rambunctious hype man, Navid Izadi who hungrily devoured studio time with Wolf + Lamb's Gadi Mizrahi aka Baby Prince as the PillowTalk boys maxed and relaxed. Written in an outdoor studio overlooking the countryside and signed in a heartbeat to Soul Clap Records, here's how The Last Dance EP went down in their words:
Baby Prince: "...it was the weekend when we had invited the PillowTalk crew and Navid to join us in the sun for some pool basketball, ham and wild BBQ's."
Navid Izadi: "Basically I really wanted to go to Mallorca with the PT boys, as it was to be my first time really hangin with Gadi and Zev (Eisenberg) on a personal level since they picked up my Double Standard EP (Ain't Got The Time)."
BP: "I had heard of Navid and how talented he was from some friends and was really excited to work on music together."
NI: "The first day (after some obligatory poolside/ BBQ action), Gadi and I got to talking about what kind of stuff we were into at the moment, which was pretty in line with one abother. I know Jamie Principle came up, some other old school house stuff etc. fun stuff, rough stuff, not overproduced or over-thought, mostly black stuff etc.... so the next day we took that and just started working together with the patented Soul Clap Ableton (LIVE) time sync method."
BP: "The process was super smooth as soon as we sat down to write tracks and three days later we had three tracks fully written and tracked out."
NI: "The whole session went from about the time I woke up (around 1pm or 2pm) to about the time the sun went down, which I'd say was about four to five hours altogether. I think Sammy D was the only PillowTalk boy who wasn't sick/hungover/sleeping, and he hung out with us during the process, dropping his vocals when he saw fit (with no mic stand/pop screen, no less). It took a second to get him to not sing in his typically silky fashion and to get old school sleazy with it for "Last Song Of The Dance", but needless to say, he nailed it. Three tracks in one afternoon, with another day or two taken to track it all out and it was dunzo. The EP made itself!"
As if one mind-boggling new collaboration wasn't enough, the 'Last Dance EP' features a remix by fellow Crew Love members Tanner Ross and Deniz Kurtel who turn out an EFUNK meets hip-hop in outer space version of the title track.

A year after the heartbreaking loss of "brother" Scott Hardkiss, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss will release a new album: Hardkiss - 1991.


Back in 90's San Francisco; Scott, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss helped pioneer the American EDM/Rave scene with their club nights, warehouse parties and groundbreaking record label. They forged a new direction for dance music with a string of vinyl releases culminating in the seminal compilation, "Delusions of Grandeur". It made the Billboard Dance charts, went to #1 on the Rolling Stone Alternative Album chart and launched the international DJ/production careers of the Hardkiss brothers.


Reunited in the Bay Area three years ago, Gavin and Robbie have produced a new album that stands tall in the often repetitive world of electronic dance music. Named for the year the Hardkiss collective was formed, 1991 references the sounds and sentiments of their early rave days while exploring new musical directions. Recorded in San Rafael, California, the album took shape in two home studios that are separated by a hillside hike. Most of the songs feature Robbie Hardkiss on vocals with additional vocals by Austin's Tameca Jones and New York rapper turned singer, Scavonne.


The focus was to create timeless beat/bass grooves within compelling contemporary songs that work for DJs as well as for a good listen. There's strong emphasis on sound design, intricate synth work and vocal editing and processing. With the help of mix engineer Luke Argilla of Bachelors of Science, the album took a full year to mix after the recording was complete. Wishing to remain connected to their vinyl roots, Hardkiss has also partnered with UnCut Records to manufacture limited edition double vinyl records of the album 1991.

Mark Barrott has been quietly making waves under numerous aliases and releases on International Feel since inception, but has, since last year's beautiful ' Sketches from an Island ' album, starting working under his own name, creating a fine body of work.

'Bush Society' sees Mark with a new sound that he wears well. Who knows how long he'll stay here, but it's a Sketches lean on a different path. A melting pot of all that is making his world go round at the moment. A field recording from his time living in South America breathes ' Bush Society ' into life, before the Goji drums and Brazilian percussion are joined by a four four groove and those Carl Craig esque strings.

The flipside, ' Saviours Or Savages ' shows Barrott in deep Ibiza mode again, leaning towards the Sketches sound that was so adored last year by Balearic heads, music aficionados & new age crystal dwellers alike, but this time with a different twist. If you want to find the true melting pot of Balearic Beat currently, then this may well be one of the finest examples you are likely to hear. Pure mood music that made the island a worldwide force for thinkers and music makers alike.

Deetroit's 6th vinyl for Unkown Deetroit keeps it burning with 6 tracks of varied deep, dub, Brazilian, disco and sort of techno. Think a mixture of sounds being pushed by the likes of Carl Craig, Ron Trent, Francois K. There is something for anyone loving the raw sounds of the underground.

Marseille's finest DJ Steef steps up to the plate for the next Foto 12 inch, supplying 3 hefty house tracks of varying tempo's and moods. Main jam 'Shaking' kicks off proceedings with a chopped-up break and kicking groove before a piano-laden mid-section sends the temperature rising. Next up Freeters hits heavy on the pitch-down vibe with some wonky electronics underpinned by a solid 4/4 low end. Over on the flip big bossman The Revenge hits back with a trademark stripped-out mix of Shaking which is heavy on the machine funk. Rounding things off Mojica Tribe is an altogether deeper number with smooth pads and an ethereal atmosphere.

It's fair to say Khijda's debut EP on Especial was one of the highlights of the label to date. Mustafa - in original form and remixed to distraction by Timothy J Fairplay - became the soundtrack for many a Summer party, while Abul was perfect for those deeper late night afters.This time though we present a stand alone 4 track EP of original music so that Khijda's sound can be full explored. Starting with the title cut, the duo aim right for the dance floor, mixing throbbing live bass, guitar and a touch of Eastern mystic vocals that twist and rise higher and higher.
This is followed by the deep dub vibes of Aura. Coming on as if the idjut Boys had relocated to Istanbul, the bass rumble and tripped out fx are overlaid with strings, xylophone and even a nice does of (more) cowbell that is full of funk and ass moving swing.
On the flip is where things take a warped turn with Indecis. It's incessant rhythm and Eastern flavour, mixed with 80's style cut up vocals, take the sounds championed by Baris K and Acid Arab to new (and bazar) heights. Finally then, the EP comes down with the beautiful 'Balearic' grooves of The Quiet And The Red Stop. With a nod to their roots Khidja again forge their own journey, creating and carving out a sound of their own that is unique and at the same time compelling. Watch the skies.

2015 looks like it could be the year that the Danes make underground dance their own. The long running Tartelet label changed direction last year and found a winning formula releasing the incredible Max Graef LP. You have Paxton Fettel slowly but surely building his name through some fine releases on Apersonal and Greta Cottage Workshop. Now it's the turn of Uffe to show us why there must be something in the bacon over there. Although now living and studying in Amsterdam, Uffe Christensen has already made some waves with his releases on Catz and Dogs label Pets, and an EP for Tartelet and so when a 6 track demo arrived in the inbox we were all over it. And it was a case of Uffe's sound is unique yet classic, taking the raw, disco influenced approach of Detroit luminaries Theo and KDJ but with a 2015 twist which sees him sitting comfortably in the ranks of exciting young producers such as Glenn Astro, Max Graef, Damiano Von Erkert and Ugly Drums.

Like You Mean It opens the EP with a suitably bold and confident groove, all lopsided cross-rhythm hats and off-kilter bass. This is seriously lo-fi gritty funk that has been getting a brilliant reaction on the dancefloor. The Detox comes next with more hip-hop influenced house beats where there isn't a quantized sound in sight but everything seems to fit together just perfectly. This one favors a deeper approach and keeps things very subtle and stripped back to the bare bones.

Flipping over we have Solid Satin (We Can Do Something) which goes percussion- heavy and treads a slightly darker path. Finally we have Good For You which closes the EP in fine fashion and shows Uffe work his magic on a low- slung deep masterpiece. Bending moog lines and dusty guitar samples sit on top of a raw house beat culminating in a track that sounds as fresh and timeless as it does classic and familiar.

The Eccentrics parties started some three years ago by Will and Mark, have been a monthly staple of the eclectic nightlife scene in Peckham since its' inception. The party has hosted many great guests over its' three years, such as Andi Hanley, Piers Softrocks, Toby Tobias, Phil Mison, Frank Tope, Bill Brewster and many more. This 12' is the culmination of Mark and Will saving their hard earned gig money so they can present the sound of Eccentrics to a wider audience. These edits were put together along with another local hero Sanky (a regular guest) whom has kindly provided the 'System' edit and the artwork for the jacket.

'System' is a sleazy European synth pop killer with a laissez- faire attitude apparent in those Simmonds drums and quirky analogue keys. Sanky and Mark have added very slight additional production to extend and deliver a great version of this soon to be classic.

'New York' takes us on a journey of weird magical melodious intrigue that wouldn't sound out of place at a Dominic Strauss Kahn European sex party.

'The Beginning' is a balearock groove that drops into an extended dubbed out island breakdown before coming up for air again.

'The End' is a downtempo slap bass funk rock head nodder that your university professor probably jumped around to in his teens.

The latest offering from Copenhagen's Music For Dreams is a superb 5-tracker of unreleased gems from A Vision of Panorama, who established himself last year with his amazing 'Time Capsule' EP. This new release from the talented Russian is full of delicious Balearic Double Fantasy/early 90ties Cafe Del Mar moods underpinned by modern programming all washed with a sense of warmth and richness and a relaxed island atmosphere. "Reef" is a downtempo luscious beachy groove oozing sunshine, "Port De Soller" offers a late 80ties vibe of tasty organic keys and steady bass while "Patches of Light" shimmers with multi layered keyboard harmonies and a superb melodic hook. Flip over and let the ocean waves roll on "Sail Among The Clouds" where melting electronics and catchy synths evoke memories of sundancing on the beach. And finally we have the magnificent Jex Opolis remix of 'Patches of Light' with the Canadian delivering a hot, summery and beautiful version that hits all the right notes - a future classic already being playlisted by Manchester's Moonboots and Test Pressing's Apiento. Did anybody say music for swimming pools, floating frogs and chilled seagulls....Yes!

2014 is the 10th anniversay of the San Francisco based producers 40 Thieves releasing their frst EP and now they come through with their debut album 'The Sky Is Yours' for
Leng Records.Core members Layne Fox, Corey Black & Jay Williams call on their bevy of friends to contribute to the group's diverse sonic smake up. Travis 'TK' Kirschbaum was a
co-founder and key contributor and local best buds Qzen, Alona, Rita Mazlan, Jason 'JP Soul' Peters, Chris MacGrew, Masahiko Kiritani, Dave Dick, Victor Critchfeld, Colin Klingman, Dave Kurzman and Larry Hamilton have all played various roles in past and current productions.
Over the years 40 Thieves have connected with likeminded labels including Rong Music and Permanent Vacation to release a small handful of original singles and EP's. One
in particular, 2008's 'Don't Turn It Off,' caused such a commotion it wound up on a few dozen CD compilations and was voted Best of the Decade by Beatport in 2010. Over the
next few years the Thieves had the chance to remix great artists including Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Gary 'Chocolate Star' Davis, Plastique De Reve, and Johnny Dynell.
Whether they're creating cosmic odyssey soundscapes or lazy mutant house, 40 Thieves like to interweave live instrumentation with programmed electronics, their sound would be equally at home at the Mudd Club circa 1983 or in the headphones of an Ibiza beachgoer circa 2083. Whether slack or upbeat, 40 Thieves always aim for the head as well as the foor.

Melbournian producer Mic Newman's Fantastic Man alias has been steadily building over the past few years. Having established himself through a handful of features on labels such as Wolf Music, Kolour LTD and Let's Play House between 2010 and 2013. The past year however, has been a more focused affair with releases only coming via his imprint Fine Choice Records. And this phase of consolidation has to be seen as a key turning point for the quality of his productions. Last year's 'Animal Language' EP turned out as a bushwhacking odyssey through the outback of a land called Amorhythmia. It was sold out instantly and has been periodically repressed after its release in May 2014. Earlier this year, the follow-up EP 'El Tropo' finally proved that his butterfly transition has been a more permanent steer for his musical direction. Love On the Rocks too has been steadily building over the past year, with a string of sold out records, which perfectly compliment one another; as the title track 'Dream Machine' ties in perfectly to Khidja's preceding New-Age objet d'art. Like an early-bird's waking chirps in-between fields dazed with morning dew and slight winds howling from above, the track slides into it's Proto-house inspired beats with a taste of some early nineties Progressive pads. A piano unravels when it's just about time to unzip the tent door and make a move for the meadows. 'Fountain Gate' merges the NYC Garage House feel of Sha-Lor's 'I'm In Love' with Jungle inspired snare fills and a timeless Acid line, a festival spacer to all expressive dancers in the hey. 'St Elmo's Theme' closes the circle for his recent Afro-oriented releases with saturated kicks guided by hypnotic drum patterns and some Xylophonic sparkle melodies filled with pure optimism. No doubt: Future will be Fantastic!'

It is a new project born out of jam sessions that have resulted in their debut single 'Rise', an electronic, Germanic-infused, post-rock screamer that is a sort of Mogwai meets Kraftwerk synthesis yet with all the futuristic propulsions of a new, fresh and hungry band making music not just for 2015 but for beyond.

This release comes with a series of remixes divided over 2 vinyls. Part 1 holds from Psychemagik and Dreems while part 2 contains Shigeto & Peaking Lights. Each of them adds their own indistinguishable imprint on the track, unpacking and expanding it to take it across a range of sounds and tones that weave from ambient dub to club floor filler. The original version of 'Rise' is included on each both parts.

Growing further out, musical petals reaching out for the ethereal, aiming high! That's where Blossom is going, and the next release in glorious vinyl is another firm step towards the establishment of the label.

This time it's portuguese veteran Mastercris delivering the goods, featuring a killer vocal contribution by the even sensual Kathy Diamond, one of Maurice Fulton's partners in crime. Cristovão Mestre is the real name of the man hiding behind the anagram Mastercris. Mestre is a rare case: a real music lover with no aspirations of dj'ing and no necessity of self-affirmation, a full time medical doctor who happens to have a love and act for music making. After works on many reference labels, this piece - "You're the one", has everything needed to be a grand crossover success: catchy lyrics, sharp production, a tight modern boogie midtempo flavor and a couple of kick ass dub versions and remixes to satisfy all manner of tastes.

The original is a piano-led composition that's brilliantly written, with an orchestral atmosphere and an irresistibly feminine appeal that will leave many a hot ladies drenched in ecstasy, held in rapture, immersed in Miss Diamond's ravishing lyrics and vocal arrangements. The vocal remix drives the lyrics to the forefront of the mix, but keeps everything else super simple but in an incredibly effective manner, making room for a Prince-esque guitar that advances boldly onto the arrangement and creates a sure fire future classic, the new piano arrangements also work wonders. Finally, Vogt's dub version gives the vocal version the edge it needed, removing most of the lyric content and adding beautiful electric piano and synth where only the vocal lay, and looping a distorted, filtered guitar portion to a tantric effect - it's as deep a dub version as they get. After his highly acclaimed album Dripping Point in 2009, his first very own Tacky Dream EP and a nice remix for Marbert Rocel on Compost Black Label, Teheran (Iran) born DJ & producer Shahrokh Dini finally is back with a new 12". For this EP, he teamed up with production mastermind Jan Krause from Beanfield.
Besides the album and some 12"s on Compost, Shahrokh's release history is spiced and bottled with lots of good house music on labels like MoodMusic, KID Recordings, BBE, People That Make The Music, Strictly Rhythm, Ministry Of Sound and others. He's also working on remixes for Yoruba's Gabriele Poso and for BAR's "White Noise" on Italic Rec.

As DJ, Shahrokh is resident in Karlsruhe's Mood since more then a decade and recently got a new residency at "Trust" in Berlin. He usually spends the summer time in the southern territories of Europe, thus he usually takes part in the (Off-) Sonar Festival in Barcelona, ADE in Amsterdam and the party circus of Ibiza every year, also Dubai & Miami. Further he'll be hosting parties in his home town Karlsruhe, such as After Art or events for ZKM.

Liquid Phonk was established in 1999 by Patrick Lesser and Mirko Koenig. When Patrick performed his first live act at a large private party, Mirko (who played a DJ set at same party) noticed him and the two decided to try working together in the studio.

In fact, the co-operation between the two worked very well on the first attempt, although they both preferred different kinds of electronic music. Little by little they formed a common style and soon the first demo CD was finished, which they handed over to Patrick Lindsey after a party night. A few months later, Patrick and Mirko had a record deal in the bag, which they owed to the title "Daydreamer". In Summer 2001, only two years after Mirko and Patrick met, they finally released the very first Liquid Phonk vinyl on Patrick Lindsey's SCHOOL Records label, followed by the second release one year later. The last release was on Lindsey's new label, IDPL. After putting the project on hold for a few years, both Mirko and Patrick, went their own musical way (Mirko founded the DJ team 'Deepkins' with his old friend Christoph Shane and Patrick had a few techno releases on Bangbam, Labil and May Recordings). The two have now renewed their musical bond, and jointly, with renewed vigor and sound, there are various planned releases on Lifted Digital, Foul & Sunk and Compost Black Label.

Harald Grosskopf is a member of legendary German cult band ASHRA (ASH RA TEMPEL) around guitarist Manuel Göttsching. In the beginning of the Seventies he was drummer for Classic Rock band WALLENSTEIN, the COSMIC COURIERS and on a few albums of KLAUS SCHULZE. Subconscio sounds like a water serpent orbiting around a black moon; elusive artist Efestion and krautrock pioneer Harald Grosskopf lead the beast.
