Depone is gathering momentum in the Dubstep scene and with this vinyl release on New Zealand based label Dubwar, its sure to stand him in good stead for 2011. 'The Arcane' is being smased worldwide making speakers all over the world beg for mercy and it's been getting support from Sukh Knight and Funtcase to name a few. Flip this 12 over and you'll be greeted by a sub note so low it'll blow your birds clothes off. Seriously big release so watch out for this

Acid-S and Roughnic met in late 90ies through producing and DJ-ing. They organized undergroundparties and developed their skills in music.
Acid-S worked in studios like Akropolis (EMI, BMG), X.1 (WDR, Kraftwerk) and Sinsport (Groove-Attack, Interworld) as producer and engineer. Roughnic is a member of the Riddim Box Crew and played bookings from Poland to New York, represented IASI on his supportgigs for SBTRKT, Zed Bias, Benga, Chase & Status, Example and Skrillex.
The science of pattern, drums and futuresounds are their common sense. In 2012 IASI release their first EP 'Vision' on the berlin-based label SUPERB recordings.

REPRESSED !!
"Another spot on the map of the Weevil Neighbourhood: after our latest excursion into the intensely droney yet fragile and unstable musique concrete of Repetition/Distract's 'Old Weevil Neighbourhood' (Cat.No: PICNIC), we continue mapping the terrain with our eyes closed and our ears wide open.
BLINDFOLD (Cat.No) comes as a mid-tempo two-tracker from an artist who wants to stay anonymous. A side 'All Those Colours...' is a Dubtechno inspired piece that contrasts its laid-back soundscapes with a broken beat and hectic highhats that converge with large rooms of reverberation. '...We Cannot See', the counterpart on side B, contrasts static drumwork with shuffling breaks and early hardcore sounds with noisey drones that cold-warmly cover more or less the whole piece.
Official release date is set for the 20th of June 2011."

Blinding first volley of ambient grime feels by Belgium's Sky H1, crystallising one of 2016's most striking entries with a debut for Pan X Codes.
If you've had an ear to PAN's recent NTS shows or frequent the likes of Berlin's Creamcake or London's Bala Club, it's possible that you've at least seen her name, if not been wowed by Air - a
pensile, elegiac wonder rent in noctilucent chorals and arcing Autechrian pads - which heads and opens up the emotional floodgates of Sky H1's debut EP.
Drawing from a background of widely-varying musical tastes from Ambient to Grime, her own work is an amalgamation of emotive compositions of orchestral Elysian synths, often displaced
with sparse percussive elements.
'Motion' is a highly personal endeavour, constructed from the results of a turbulent time - she describes it as 'a flash of her emotional state over the last few months'. 'It signifies leaving behind a period in my life and stepping into something new.' She explains.
Moving through bleak soundscapes layering vaporous choral synths, ethereal vocals and glassy,
lucid tones crafted in complex structures, the record bears moments of melancholy as well as joy on tracks like 'Tell Me' and 'I Think I Am'. Where many other producers are currently playing out hyper-violent beat-em-up scenarios, Motion indulges a plangent lushness to aching affect; oscillating nervous percussion and agonised choral cadence with glassy soft and weightless chimes and R&B variants blessed with an ambient aura.
It's all inarguably up there with the best, most addictive new music we've heard in 2016, and hugely recommended if you know what's good.

Mutant drum structures, cascading synths and industrial bell ringing forms the backdrop to Bandshell's latest work. Those paying close attention to his output over the years will remember his work on labels like Hessle Audio, Liberation Technologies and his own recently setup b.s. hell.

The third Diskotopia release of 2013 comes from label mainstay, RBMA alumni & Tender Hooks co-founder Mau'lin. Building on from last year's excellently received Function Open EP, Mau'lin continues his exploration of ruff and rugged polyrhythmic techno abstractions in fine style. The four original tracks which comprise the Quotient EP, plus a stunning Boxwork (LNUK) remix, are Mau'lin's strongest and most visceral tracks to date.
Already having gained support from Numbers bosses Jackmaster and Spencer with plays on Rinse FM & BBC Radio 1 by them (on their own shows, plus Skream & Benga's show) since last year, the release has also had more recent support and radio play on The Wire Magazine's NTS show, Brackles' Rinse FM show, DVA Music artist Shy One's NTS show and more. Strong support and appreciation for the release has come in from a wide range of artists and DJs such as Plastician, Moire, Julio Bashmore, the Sound Pellegrino crew, Dro Carey, Deft, Manni Dee, The Phantom, Mister Saturday Night roster Alex Burkat, Optimum, 7even Recordings head honcho Greg G, the Liminal Sounds team, Arctic, and many more.

ZamZam embarks on their next 50 releases with the return of Portland's own Systemwide. After a many-years hiatus the crew once hailed as 'The States' finest dub band,' by author & journalist Jeff Chang, is back with two new adventures into live left-of-center dubwise.Systemwide released their first album 20 years ago this year, and dealt in an utterly unique live, full-band, leftfield, DIY mutation of dub until 2003. They collaborated extensively with Sound Secretion (now known as Alter Echo), and were remixed by the likes of Muslimgauze, Twilight Circus, Zion Train, Alpha & Omega, Deadbeat, and many others. They were well-known as a live band from Seattle to LA, opened for Lee Perry and Dub Syndicate up and down the West Coast, and were mixed live by none other than Scientist.Aside from the occasional reunion show, a number of forces sent the band into a long hiatus. But a new generation was exposed to their unique brand of live dubwise via Bristol's No Corner in 2016, when the label reissued two early cuts on limited 12'. This release was a partial catalyst for the creation of these new tunes. In truth the boys had been getting together every few months since 2013 to blast out improvised jams for fun, but with the foresight to multitrack every minute of them. The task was then to shape two of these freeform jams into proper tunes. Systemwide was always at their best live, and both of these sides capture that energy while harnessing the vibes to 7' length. The lineup is a deadly tight combo of midi drums (Tim Ennis), Korg and Moog bass (Mondell Wells), samples and FX (Steve Wegner), Synths and keys (Tim Andrews), and percussion and samples (Ezra Ereckson AKA E3). For this release the crew chose to recruit Alter Echo for a mix, as his deft touch always brought out the deepest aspects of the band's sound. In addition, it felt natural to ask Dubkasm for a version as they championed the No Corner 12' with enthusiasm and earnest love."Low Orbit" describes a heavy, dark, enveloping dub universe in the classic Systemwide fashion, led by a growling, minimal bassline with swung drums fully locked. Thick, swirling, alien atmospheres that wed inner out and outer space through ancient samples, test tones, cosmic sparkles and a gallery of organic percussion. Hard and low-slung at 134 bpm, it pitches up easily for the 140 crew. Dubkasm's remix of 'Liberation' echoes out from the same well, offering a solemn, magisterial steppers with bubbling bassline and keys seeming to refract each other through dubwise prisms. Bristol legend and Rasta elder Ras Addis intones words of wisdom as Stryda and Digistep work their magic with a brilliant hide-and-seek journey through the tune's instrumentation and the deep spaces opened up through their own hardware and Sountracs desk.

Keith Tenniswood returns in 2016 with Dub Vault Vol. 2, the second emission of dubwise productions under his Radioactive Man moniker, originally recorded a decade ago while based in Scrutton Street Studios. A long time fan of roots, reggae and dub here he fully indulges in the genre whose keystone bass weighted sounds have informed the electro-focused designs he is predominantly known for. Explosion begins the EP recorded utilising new toy at the time, a Korg ESX1 sampler and sequencer, resulting in simple but crashing dancehall beats with a diliinja style bassline that is pure roughage. Second track Razor sees Tenniswood also take up the guitar as well as beat programming in this track named after the 'Stepping Razor' Peter Tosh and a nod to his music hero Adrian Sherwood and On U Sound vibes.
Blazer rounds off the EP, a collab with long term dub head and band member with Keith from Bargecharge (check Fuel Records early releases late 90s) James Foster. Tape echo and distorted bass make up the thick sound of this track.

Infernal Sounds is discharging its fifth hefty, system-affine release, adding another highly regarded talent to their roster. Having featured revered producers like Von D, Sepia, Causa, Shu & Perverse, the label has clearly positioned itself in the front row seat of the modern dubstep movement. Representing a combination of upholding the values of system music with a 21st-century take on sound - the next release, catalogued as 'IFS005' is stylistically congruent and adds to the discography in total.
It is now time for highly talented Sub Basics (Tom Woods) to augment the imprint's discography with his ridiculously massive incarnation of bass music. His debut vinyl release on the Canadian imprint 'Visceral Vibrations' in 2015 has garnered ample amounts of positive reception by esteemed figures in the scene like Versa, Syte and J:Kenzo. After an equally praised 10' dubplate release ( Give Dem') in 2016, we now find ourselves in the silence before the thunderstorm, that is this very record. His upcoming release includes three tracks, two of which will feature on vinyl (A. Horus/ B. Cartel), while the third 'Northern Lights' will be a Bandcamp-exclusive.
Diving into the sound at hand, his arrangements are closely aligned and firmly true to the origins of Dubstep - conjugated with extreme clarity, as well as preposterous amounts of weight and gravitas. The impeccable execution of his minimalistic sound design will leave this release rumbling on soundsystems around the globe - and will most stay a fan's favourite draw from the record bag for a good while.
Perfectly displaying a refined sense of dynamics with 'Horus', Sub Basics effortlessly squeezes every available ounce of air out of the system, while preserving an immense sense of space. The highly infatuating groove of 'Cartel' is mingled with a sweltering foundation - tied together through his meticulous attention to detail. As etheral pads complement the gnarly drum reverberations and bird's cries recoil - the listener is left in a surreal world of the 'Northern Lights' - apprehended by the sonorous magnitude of the bassline. Completed by creamy atmospheres with tape-echo-esque characteristics, this whole release is sure to tick all your boxes from top to bottom - IFS005 has already received support from J:Kenzo & Foamplate among others, therefore the pre-order is strongly advised.

Long overdue appearance from one of the OGs in this, Beneath, finally on Hotline - back when he had just released the first NoSymbols white labels, he was one of, if not the, first to take UK funky darkside, injecting that sense of dread that is integral to the UK's underground sonics. It's a sound that he's been refining for a while now - from those early hand-stamped whites to standout records on Tectonic and PAN, to name but a few. Simply put, nobody does it quite like Beneath - and Hotline have scooped up some of his finest cuts to date, the massive 'Seeus' that's been played by so many big names. It pretty much made the voicemail redundant: big, bashy and infinitely catchy, it's nothing short of an anthem... Edition of 500, stickered sleeve and centre labels. Design by Studio Tape-Echo.

We are very happy to welcome Jeroen Verschueren AKA Digid into the ZamZam fold with two cuts of high grade sound system fire. Straight outta Belgium, Digid has had our attention for a few years now thanks to a string of crucial releases on labels including Cubiculo, Moonshine, and Lion Charge. We dare say this wicked release will further his steep rise in profile.
We Nah Go' is a well-tested weapon, a full-charge stepper with both deep space and big room appeal. Crisp & heavy production captivate with sizzling high end, massive bassweight, and kick drum pushing into the red. The cinematic melodic figure, majestic horns, and mysterious, reverb-soaked atmosphere add up to a can't-fail powerhouse in the dance.
Digital Time' counters with a similar sonic palette and epic sweep, but an utterly deep and more meditative vibe. This is full eyes-down weaponry with a half time/one drop feel, chasms of reverb, tape echo madness, and a wobbly bassline from the eternal present of Early Dubstep.
Mastered by Lewis at Stardelta.

The duo DubDiggerz, hailing from the depths of Slovenia, have been stirring up soundsystem culture a fair bit the past few years. Even though the two-headed moniker has been taking part in this movement since its inception in 2011, both Mark and Daniel have already given life to some of the heaviest dubplates. These have been in steady rotation since their very first productions were finished and cut to lacquers. Their tailored focus on the meditative properties of basslines, to-the-point percussion and perfectly executed dub effects make every 'DubDiggerz' cut a special occasion. Without surprise, this has already led to support from some of the most established names in Dubstep, including Joe Nice, Distance, V.I.V.E.K, J:Kenzo and Sleeper. Mark and Daniel have a promising release schedule in 2017; releasing their first music on vinyl thanks to the trust of America's Dubstep Ambassador Joe Nice and his acclaimed Gourmetbeats imprint - something both producers are very grateful for. Their involvement in the DeepEnd! movement, 'a like- minded group of individuals conspiring to advance their soundsystem culture concepts', will result in their consecutive vinyl release - and more be unveiled later this year. BazzWarz is the producers' bi-monthly radio shows, which is broadcasted via the DJ's live-streaming community Chew.TV. This and their respected DeepEnd! sessions have given them the opportunity to invite international producers to the show and play exclusive material from around the globe, soon streaming their 100th broadcast - with the first broadcast aired in 2011. Therefore make sure to keep an eye on DubDiggerz; a promising moniker that has a lot in store for you and the rest of the world.

Los Angeles based up-and-comer Oxóssi excels in utilizing his lifelong exposure to a diverse range of music, which has allowed him to successfully craft his highly eclectic, ambient and bass heavy style, one that blends his deeply rooted musical upbringing with his own creative individuality. His atmospheric and unconventional take on raw bass music production enables his listeners to be transported beyond the music itself into different mental spaces, facilitating a form of meditation on music. With releases already on Banana Stand Sound (BSS001), Crucial Recordings (CRUCIAL005) and Silent Motion (SMV001), Oxóssi is well on his way to infecting the underground with his unique musical personality.Oxóssi is making a valiant return to Sleeper's Crucial Recordings imprint for his newest release, CRUCIAL011. This blistering, four-track EP sees the rising bass music artist shattering genre boundaries and abandoning stylistic expectations with its unorthodox, yet equally infectious and highly volatile grooves. Oxóssi's CRUCIAL011 boasts mercurial melodies jam packed with avant-garde moods, undeniably fresh attitudes and energetic, forward momentum, forcing listeners to rethink what they've come to know about bass music. While Escher' and Fall of Mevia' deliver relentless, dynamic and vivacious beats to CRUCIAL011, Nightmares' and &' add a much darker, more jarring tone to the overall personality of the release, resulting in a collection that's as multifaceted and complex as it is innovative and powerful.

Glyn "Bigga" Bush began his production career with Rockers Hi Fi in the early 90s, co-writing several studio albums, a host of remixes and the infamous DJ Kicks - The Black Album. In 2000 he went solo as both BiggaBush and Lightning Head, making albums for Sonar Kollektiv and Stereo Deluxe as well as many more remixes. His sound reflects his love of dub reggae, analogue synthesisers and intricate rhythms, with influences of samba, afrobeat, the deep dubscapes of Rhythm & Sound and most recently the more interesting end of 140bpm bass music. This EP is his first vinyl release since the late 00s and takes in a number of bass-heavy rumblers with classic BiggaBush twists and turns, starting with the steppas delight of Mangrove Monkey, relentless subs and skanks of Sounds & Blues, post-dubstep breaks on Dash Way Com and finishing with a minimal 4/4 FX soundscape on Footsie Index.
