The U.K.-based imprint has quickly grown to showcase a multifaceted approach to Dubstep - releasing prime selections driven by low frequency oscillations. Ranging from Vaun & Jafu's jazzy reverberations with J.Sparrow on contemplative version business to the experimental dancefloor music of talented producer Taiko - their return to the spotlight amasses a dream team of Dubwise visionaries - Digid, Dubbing Sun and Croatian bass wonder Egoless, contributing a version. Based in Belgium and Austria respectively, Digid and Dubbing Sun have swiftly ascertained themselves as one of their countries leading figures in Dub-affine bass music with joint vinyl releases on J:Kenzo's Lion Charge and Archetype Records among others, as well as successful solo projects, such as Digid's recent ZamZam Sounds debut and Dubbing Sun's own quality vinyl-only imprint.

Emerging through pristine and crystal clear sound, Digid's 'Rainbow Dub' kicks off the record in a colourful exhibition of livid chord stabs and melodies, minimal percussion tastefully appended. As low frequency oscillations set the air in motion, listeners find themselves in a true-to-the-roots modern dub extravaganza, skanking: mandatory. As is customary 'Come Dung' allures listeners as the expertly crafted fusion of version and original business that is is, hurling another massive rhythm, accompanied by a lively arrangement, that does the pioneers of the old days justice.

Coming together for the flip-side, Digid & Dubbing Sun crafted a roots earthquake of tremendous proportions. 'Dread Come Again' has come to conquer keen sound systems all over as anthemic brass stabs echo along the dub-infused soundscape and a monumental bassline hauls both its weight and groove to every last fibre of your body. Last but in no conceivable way least, the recent Deep Medi and Tempa signee Egoless turns 'Dread Come
Again' on its head - stripping the music down to its warbly core of rhythm and bass, drenched and covered in shifting spaces and creative usage of his varied palette of analogue effects - a mind-bending version, worthy of the anthemic original.

In the wake of the hugely successful IFS002 from Sepia earlier this year, rising deep dubstep label Infernal Sounds returns with a release from Illusive German heavyweights Shu and Causa, who bring their nuanced, earthy meditation on Dubstep to IFS003. Both sides of IFS003, from collaborative A side Dubhelmet, to B-sides Dawn Chorus and System One, are filled to the brim with minimal, sound system vibes and analogue sound design.

From the Italian DUB duo Babe Roots comes the group's third vinyl release since their debut 7' last year on the Sardinian ROHS imprint which sold out in record time. Like the A-side's artwork suggests (a photo of the Major League Baseball pitcher Doc Ellis famous for pitching a 'no-hitter' while on LSD), this record will take the listener on a trip. In classic Babe Roots fashion, each song was carefully crafted using traditional Jamaican dub techniques, blending 90's Chain Reaction / Basic Channel atmospheres and UK trip-hop elements. Spiritual Connection / Brown Walls aims to be their strongest release yet. US-based label Visceral Vibrations teams up with Big Horn Sound (a sound system out of Las Vegas, NV) to provide a record worthy of any dub-head's collection, presented on 12' vinyl and professionally mastered by Beau Thomas at TenEightSeven.

Opener Kingdom Dub' is a relentless display of dubstep pressure with its gnarly, pulsating sub twisting and turning throughout the track to devastating effect. It has been a firm favorite in Chads sets over the past year and is certified to destroy the dance floor.
As the name suggests Space Cadet' is a wavier affair. - Its peculiar drum patterns and quirky effects combine to form a superbly strange track that retains the heavy sub sensibilities and darkness of its counterparts.
Closer Drainpipe' keeps the dubstep fundamentals in tact with heavy subs, deranged mids, sparse atmospheres and industrial sounding percussion to create a mechanical monster, rapidly building momentum until it turns into all manner of chaos on the second drop. With FAV005, Chad Dubz has created a fine display of sound system- shaking-pure-dubstep-musical-goodness with possibly his best release yet... Essential!

ZamZam 52 is a fully outernational collaboration between Bukkha (Spain/US), Madplate Sound (Italy) and Junior Dread (Brazil). We love these kinds of link-ups, as the simple act of creating tunes across borders and continents for an international community of listeners and dancers is an act of resistance in a time of increasing nationalism and restrictions on peoples' movement."Nada A Perder' ("Nothing To Lose") leads off with hard skanks and a deceptively wistful melody. Enter the honeyed-yet-gritty voice of rootsman Junior Dread over mashing steppers drums and a monstrous bassline designed with nothing but sound system pressure in mind. Junior Dread's powerful vocal, sung beautifully in his native Portuguese, delivers a message centered on unifying across difference: 'When Bukkha came with the instrumental,' he says, "it made me think about overcoming our generation's biggest obstacles if we unite.' His inspiration in music comes from 'life itself and Jah the Creator,' and as a believer in 'Word Sound Power,' Junior Dread focuses exclusively on positive, empowering lyrics.The dub version travels deep through swirling vapor trails, carving out space by stripping back the vocal, echoing the skanks hard, opening up the reverbs, firing off the lasers, and valving-up the bassline for an even more militant side. Bukkha's profile continues to rise with recent releases on labels including Dub Stuy, and Moonshine, with more dropping soon. Sparring partner Madplate Sound has also released on Moonshine and Dub Stuy, and Junior Dread is well-known for tunes on the above labels, and the seminal 'Rise' on Gorgon Sound's Peng Sound debut.

A1 - First up is Dankle's 'Isabigting'. Dankle has been steadily making a name for himself over the past couple of years, as part of
Offmenut Records, for his solo production and as one half of Phatworld, alongside Tich from The Squire of Gothos. 'Isabigting' is
straight up mutant bassline, with his warped, glass-like bass and hip-hop vocal.
A2 - Hailing from Germany, CPTN has making people stand up and take notice with his heavy, deranged bass, with releases on
Offmenut, Kitty Corner and a forthcoming EP on Kanji Kinetic's 'Mutant Bass Records'. 'Spazzo Rod' is a thunderous bass monster,
with its intense, grinding, fucked-up bass.
B1 - Sheffield's Thorpey's known for his take on the mutant bass sound and has had strong releases on Offmenut, Mutant Bass and
Bass Hound, to name a few. He usually makes 4x4 but here he drops heavy dubstep track 'Trippin' Balls' with a harsh, wobbly
bassline and tight, solid kicks.
B2 - Glasgow's LZWretch debuted on the digital release of Horror Boogie 01, with a raved-up bassline remix of Kanji Kinetic's
massive 'Citizens Unite'. 'Far From Home' is in a similar vein - rave stabs, breaks and a huge bassline.

Australian dubstep label Requiem Audio has become really popular over the last two years and they've been working with some amazing artists. This release has been flying off the shelf and we're really excited about where this label is heading.

Tom Van Zeytveld AKA Phuture-T is well known to followers of hard-edged dubwise jungle from his many stellar releases on labels including Alphacut, 45Seven, and Eastern Promise Audio. In a landscape of similar-sounding steppers, Zeytvelt reveals his Emperor T alias on his first outing for ZamZam, bringing a welcome experimental sensibility to the worldwide steppers arena, while keeping sound system priorities and dancefloor imperatives firmly in view. Macka Step Dub" is a pounding 128 bpm killer that opens with congas, skanks, and a minimal guitar lick, but quickly ramps up the energy with a pounding kick, sick sine wave bass, clattering percussion and sirens, building the tension to a massive breakdown. When the smoke clears, magisterial horns and insistent skanks lead the way as the riddim rebuilds, the tape echo spools out, and the dance forwards on.Mek It Run Dub" is cut from the same sonic cloth but faster, and tweaking the template with a more organic bass sound, flanged skanks, and stark shocks from the spring reverb. With militant horns echoing from deep down the Well over a pummeling kick and bass attack, this one is a serious threat to a soundboy. Both tunes were mixed and dubbed out at Phuture-Studios in Amsterdam, mastered and cut by the one Lewis at Star Delta Mastering in Devon.

Blow my smoke'

* The mood and bar are set high with 'Blow My Smoke' an undeniably ground shaking and spirit lifting anthem that's shimmering soundscape impresses just as much as the catastrophic bassline underpinning it. The subtle brightness of it's distinguishable layers easily have you picturing this galaxy as you hypothetically rest on the rings of Saturn, while it's narrative vocal and pinpointed percussion contribute to a deliciously raw coating that doesn't hold back.

* 'Kicking off strong, 'Dime' grabs us with its punchy and worldly introduction to a dancefloor punisher, brimming with just the right amount of 808 low end and glossy west coast flair. It's echoing framework pushes across a hard- hitting underlay and intermittently transfers into an ambience of tribal ongoings that goes even further to set it apart from your everyday banger.
