Chrissy Murderbot - last heard on 'Women's Studies', his outrageously enjoyable album trip through bass styles on Planet Mu - is back with a star-studded new EP of booty anthems on his own Loose Squares imprint, merging elements of juke, grime, and booty bass with big hooks and a pop sensibility. The lead track 'I'm A Asshole' features Texan sizzurp-superstar Johnny Moog (Palms Out Sounds), and has one of the catchiest hooks of 2011. DJ Gant-Man (Fools Gold / Dance Mania) steps up to the plate next, delivering on the super-raunchy soon-to-be-classic 'I Nutted In You'. 'Pop That Shit' and 'Girl' are bass-heavy ghetto house workouts, while 'The Call Of Booty' and 'Back That Thang Up' are big club anthems on a classic Miami Bass tip, featuring upcoming rappers Young Live (Tha Basix) and Add-2 (MTV Suckafree Countdown / OkayPlayer / 2DopeBoyz). Proper monster club sounds, in a limited hand-numbered run of 500, the first 200 of which on coloured vinyl.

The Wait is finally over people, the 2nd and last sampler from the highly successful album 'Colourful Vibrations' from Kromestar is finally here on Vinyl! The sounds Kromestar has created for the album is not dissimilar to the type of atmosphere he executed so well for 'My Sound'. Loads of pads and swirls, rich basslines, flutes and well thought out samples to match. It does sound a lot more polished though and the production has come a long way since the debut. He is an absolute master of his mix down's, each sound on the frequency spectrum has space to breath and enter your ear with ease. Every track well rounded, offering crisp, clean production through out. 'Colourful Vibrations' has a variety of moods within, but the main focus is Kromestar's genius ability to create ambient, soulful Dubstep. There are a few more banging tunes on the album as you would expect from Kromestar, but no pointless wobble what so ever! Overall a stunning album that will go down in Kromestar history!

Ross Allen's Meltdown Music Recordings is kick-starting into life with this stunning mini album/EP from Welsh native and production talent EVM. EVM's music holds a fine balance between the contemporary and the classic, between UK garage, broken hip-hop, and the vibe of reggae, house and soul, wrapped in velvety production and a technical style all of his own. Title track 'Groove Content' has been a mainstay on Ross's weekly Ministry of sound show for six months, and it's now in the hands of Gilles Peterson who has already hailed it as a 'classic,' supporting it on his BBC Radio 1 show and tearing it up on the main stage at this years' Sonar Festival. Huw Stephens of Radio 1 also made EVM's remix of DJ Vadim's 'Elope' his Record of The Week back in Sept 2010. The other tracks on the EP are of a more down beat nature but equally as inspiring; from the Dilla-esque, tech-hop of 'Falling' (which features EVM's vocal talents), to the vocodered groove of The 'Slow Jam' and the teched out boom-bap of 'D N A.' Liverpudlian vocalist Amy Wilson features and writes on the track 'Stay,' a reggae-inflected garage gem, plus the more forward thinking 'U Want More.' It's a diverse EP; Short and sweet and super catchy.

25 year old American Producer/Dj, Woody Poulard aka Grinch,
started playing music at a young age spending most of his time
playing various saxophones in many different bands. However,
within the past 5 years his passion has been producing and
playing electronic music; anything from Techno to DnB. His productions often include complex elements used to create a unique sound that cant be imitated.

Knorsq and Saimn-I join forces with Jamaican veteran dancehall D.J. Little Harry for a ruff n' tuff ragga-dubstep. Edited by L.A.'s King Of The Remix - 6Blocc! Thunderkuff by Dojah on the flip is a ragga dancefloor smasher. Don't sleep on this one.
