Die Nummer zehn kommt im passenden 10inch Format. Und wieder ist ein neuer Künstler mit an Bord. Essáy heißt der gute Mann und kommt aus Heidelberg. Die zwei fantastischen Remixe von Nocow und Desolate sind ein schönes Dankeschön der beiden Ausnahmekünstler. Die Vocals kommen von der Norwegerin Ida Dillan. Vinyl tastes better...

Ney Faustini completes the half-dozen on Foul & Sunk, celebrating the dawn of the dark season with an EP whose three pieces will provide relaxation, energy and joy on the dance floors. Born and raised in the Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paolo, Faustini begins his biography with fast music and broken beats, before his path led him to deep, bouncing house music. Maybe it's the British bass music, maybe it's the endless view over his city to the Atlantic Ocean that he used as a source of inspiration for this loosely woven, barely tangible tapestry of sound, that lines the background of his three pieces "Sleepless", "The Name Of The Game "and" No More Chances". This giving the EP its meditative character, Faustini reinforces it all with prancing percussion on "No More Chances", as well as warm piano and organ keys in the background of "The Name of the Game". But the "Sleepless EP" doesn't limit itself to head dance music: an organic bass groove flows through all three pieces, stimulating our energy cycle with pulsating pressure. This comes to its full potential in the eponymous title track, and is truly the motto of Foul & Sunk: Quality music for your dancefloor.

Back in 2007, a track titled 'Mini Man' was released by a stranger to the audience 18 year old artist named Alex Dimou. The title might have been the best one to describe the person behind the track, the mini man, a kid with such a passion and will to demand a place in the grown up's world. And he made it. 'Mini Man' charted 7 out of 9 tracks included in the release, something that could not pass unnoticed from the Tech house community.

Anders Trentemøller presents Dorit Chrysler and 'Avalanche', a haunting, evocative EP on his In My Room imprint! The two first met when Anders asked Dorit for her theremin play on his recent album 'Into The Great Wide Yonder'. Dorit also joined Anders on stage at his remarkable perfomance at the Roskilde festival in 2010 (which has been captured in the 'Silver Surfer, Ghots Rider Go!!!' video) as well as on Trentemøller's live tour through the USA last year. Dorit Chrysler, the celebrated composer, musician, and first lady of the theremin, delivers a stunning four-tracker of her rich, intricate and emotional music. The lead song 'Avalanche' combines a deep electronic pulse with Dorit's signature smoky delivery, and her exceptional theremin flourishes - an immense slow motion explosion. Trentemøller supplies the sublime production throughout the EP - providing the stand-out analog bass groove on 'Forbidden Fruit', which also showcases the immense vocal talents of collaborator Marie Fisker. The next song is just as impressive -'Winter Glow' is perhaps the poppiest moment here, coupling a new-wave synth groove with a pretty, ethereal vocal hook and the ever-present, beautifully restrained theremin - the bizarre, enchanting electronic instrument Dorit has mastered. 'Swamp Behind My House' closes out the release, another deep and cinematic slice of electronic grace, which along with the rest of the EP, is sure to win over a new audience to Dorit's immense charms. Trentemøller (DJ) & Dorit Chrylser (live) wil both perform at the CPH:DOX event on November 12th, in Copenhagen to present the new EP.

After all efforts were put into Jacob Korn's debut album during summer 2012 Uncanny Valley strikes back with namesake Jacob Stoy and his very first solo EP after his S51 for the UV010-compilation. Everything starts with Redensart, a sunny piece of music with a sneaky bassline and easy synth pads that come across like a warm rain shower: It's House in the end but feels like so much more. Hauswart is an impressive example of how one can create a whole atmosphere of sound within two minutes. It's short but feels so comfortable that you really like it to go on and on forever. Start is maybe the most conventional Deep House track on the EP and seduces with catchy synth chords and thrilling drums. Finally Gegenwart brings things to a jazzy end with tipsy synths and tripping percussions. The artwork comes from none other than Jacob's father Olaf Stoy, who is a painter, lyricist and porcelain designer still working in Jacob's hometown Rabenau near Dresden.

A real Roberto Auser signature sound in a high quality. With previous releases on Viewlexx, Bearfunk and others, this one appears limited to 300 and comes in a carefully designed, beautifully silkscreened and hand numbered artwork by the man himself. The last release of the year reveals a significant capture for boe in the form of Soul 223, a seasoned producer with releases on Delsin and Souljazz under his belt as well as having a significant pedigree releasing as Stasis on Peacefrog in the Ninetees. Eastern Promise is a fine balanced EP covering deep sample based jams, spacey disco grooves and sunshine laden strings. Age Of Peace is a quirky cut with loose shakers and light percussion over a slap bass and soft warm chords. It has a catchy harmony that seems to pick up energy with only subtle changes. It's topped off with some crazy synth FX lead work to round into something reminiscent of Herbert and Moodymann combined. Wide Open Spaces is well textured and deep. A gorgeously put together bassline, sweeping chords cushioned by cavernous reverb and crunchy disco beats make this a real late night groover. As an added twist the cut breaks down to finish and morphs into a hip hop skit to mix things up a bit. On the flip side, Hand In Hand is an instant Balearic classic with loose drums and a string pattern drenched in sunshine and golden sand. The strings sweep in and out as subtle voice samples add depth to the harmony. In Motion is a simple but incredible catchy rolling groover. It's relentless bongo pattern and snappy snares and kick are infections to the core as the drums roll on and the sweeping chord stabs come in. It's non-stop and psychedelic, it pulls you in with the faintest of effort and you finally come to as the track eases out into the fade leaving you wanting more. The EP finishes off with the Hand In Hand (Reprise), using the same strings as its parent cut but with more FX to make it a great DJ tool.

Fish Eat Duck is a long-awaited debut artist album by Electrosoul System. Andrey worked on this LP for several

But first, they want you to know that they're really sorry.ÊA psychedelic Western Disco Audio Book was quite clearly the obvious format choice for a tale this colourful, this entrancing, this irresistable, and that's what the Boys - knowing what they know - wanted the experience to be. Formed by Superpitcher and Rebolledo, this tag team is famous for bending time and space, with the boys balancing exotic spices with hearty flavours, enticing any old mood rebel to take a big bite of happiness. Feeling inspired by old country and folk records, they also opted for a narration to link the album tracks, performed by the truly fantastic Dessagne Twins from Saint Etienne. Together with the masterfully staged music, those two give you first-hand impressions of the Pachanga Boys' everyday life spent between Cologne and La Pitaya from 2009 to 2012, a life consisting of big city nights and mountain weekends, strange markets, dubious cantinas and powerful rivers, riding bikes and driving around in German cars. At the time of releasing his debut album Prins Thomas was handling all the instruments his self. Nevertheless the idea allways existed to put together a proper band - consisting of professionals, but basically more like friends and friends of friends. Just for no other reason than having fun and jaming along like in the 'old days". And eventually ... the sparkling Prins Thomas Orkester was a result of this work. The tracks on the øVING EP are all reworks of the old back catalouge, recorded almost live in maximum two takes: slangemusikk, uggebugg and sauerkraut from the debut album - transformed into snake music, hamar bluesklubb and 'surkål". The last track Aril Moen is a new version of the 12 morfar. The whole thing got mixed by no other than Todd 'Terje' Olsen and mastered to perfection by Chris Sansom at Propeller Studios. You`ll be the judge to whether Prins Thomas Orkester succeeded - we surely enjoy it and quite much so!

The same people behind Emotional Rescue launch as fine sister imprint in the shape of Emotional Rescue, with a near perfect insight into how the label will operate thanks to Nzambi - a quite stunning full length album from Jason Letkiewicz under his Alan Hurst moniker. If you consider yourself an avid purchaser of vinyl, you will no doubt have added some Letkiewicz heat to your collection in recent times, with excellent releases as Steve Summers and Innergaze in recent times. The Alan Hurst project sees the Brooklyn producer in more laid back form, indulging his passion for library sounds and experimental electronics with just as much aplomb. Allegedly commissioned to soundtrack a film on modern Haitian Voodoo, Nzambi is a woozily intoxicating thirteen track set that opens your senses to a true darkness in this producer's palette of sounds that's not really been explored before.

a correction is the new album from Fieldhead and continues the dusty, bereft sounds of previous releases - they shook hands for hours (Home Assembly 2009) and riser (Gizeh 2010).
2010 saw Paul Elam depart the UK for Vancouver, Canada and there is no doubt that the vast Northern Candian landscapes have influenced the new Fieldhead material. The familiar tape hiss, scratchy, decaying atmospheres remain in place but with a correction Elam has managed to sculpt a vaster, more expansive palate of sounds. Minimalistic on first listen, a correction is a record which slowly unfurls on multiple listens to reveal subtle melodies and details that don't distract from the overal ambience but in fact set apart Fieldhead's music from many other, safer artists within the genre.
The violin of Elaine Reyolds (The Boats / The Sea) adds a warmth to the sometimes desolate atmospheres and the almost contant pulse that remains throughout the record invites you be lost for the duration and even hints at more minimal techno direction at times.
Previous comparisions of Fieldhead's work have been made to the likes of William Basinski, The Caretaker and Grouper, which in truth are not far from the mark. It's fair to say Elam has already stamped his name in the ambient / drone field with his previous outputs and a correction should further enhance his reputation as someone who can seemlessly marry soundscapes and melody to form an enchanting, almost timeless piece of music.

Tempelhof are Italian's Luciano Ermondi and Paolo Mazzacani, a very musical duo who have already released a much-respected full length on Distraction Records and several well received remixes. Now they debut with a four track EP on the ever-original Hell Yeah Recordings and continue to confound expectations with their pairing of electronica's precision with shoe-gazes textures and plenty of real instrumentals. ove -An Interpretation is the EP's mournful opener. Sparse and alone, it trills with haunting guitar notes as the rueful vocal swims in seas of echo and reverb. Around the mid-way point a cosmic beat kicks in and carries the whole arrangement off into space with twitchy electronics and acid rumbles colouring the background. Glorious Day opens with more thin, vulnerable keys and plenty of echo. The rubbery kick drums comes in immediately here as harmonic notes ring out and rise up toward the sky. It's hurt but optimistic and invites you to get lost in its glistening, swirling synth clouds for five day-dream like minutes.

Seahawks return once again with a supremely psychedelic dip into the ocean of sound. 'Aquadisco' was originally conceived as a 2 track 12' but spun out of control by a fast moving cyclone developed into an epic double vinyl journey to the depths.

It's not easy to put a tag on the kaleidoscopic sound contained within although 'Sun Ra jamming with Level 42 on a Caribbean Yacht produced by Conny Plank' comes close.
Spaced out aquatic afro jazz, interstellar lilo funk and new age disco are just a few of the ports of call.
A concept album of sorts, 'Aquadisco' imagines a time when instead of fleeing into space to avoid calamity, mankind is relocated deep beneath the waves.
'In the clubs there's a new sound...it reminds people of when they used to live on the surface, when they could go to real beaches and feel the warmth of the sun, taste the salt and feel the breeze in their hair. Now there are beaches under the oceans, in the vast pyramids where cities have been built there is everything you need but it's not the same....there are forests, rivers and sky....and of course nightclubs where people go to dream as they listen to the soft throb and warm tones they call Aquadisco'.
Time to take a trip into the deep.

In A-side, he makes a homage to the brilliant artist, Kira Neris with a remix of his track With All is Might. The result is a super slow dreamy-house track with jazzy elements and steady progress.The second in A-side is Curve. Sometimes jazzy, sometimes obsessive and dreamer, it is the perfect addition to the Kira Neris remix.
In the other side, LBEAT is a slow piece of experimental 4x4 electronics with freaky percussion and a sick atmosphere. A naive piano provides the counterpoint to this unusual track.

Peter Visti comes back to the fold with his second album on Bearfunk, entitled 'Illusions In A Twisted Mind.' Peter, born and bred in Denmark earn't his stripes in the late 80's and early 90's as a DJ, Producer and Club Promoter at the cooler venues around Europe, spreading his unique brand of weird Disco and Balearic love the world over - From Tokyo, to London, via New York and Barcelona.

The Time And Space Machine, aka Richard Norris, is straight out the gates following his acclaimed 'Taste The Lazer' album, with a second single off that album titled 'Good Morning'. This summery double A side comes armed with stunning accompaniments from Leftside Wobble, Saint Etienne and Coyote.
The original is a super-chilled wake up call to all things psyche and beautiful. Shimmering guitar tones, breathing string phrases and a slo-mo beat fully encapsulate the sense and meaning of the lyrics.
On the flip we're served up some cracking remixes. Leftside Wobble's offering doesn't disappoint with its strong rhythm section and unique take on the original theme. Saint Etienne's mix goes a little more mysterious, with looping, convoluted elements coming together momentarily for dancefloor ecstasy before bumping back down to the steady momentum Finally, Coyote brings a new edge to the T&SM package with their laidback adaptation, fusing spacey bongo patterns with a bumping synth bassline.
