After the worldwide succes of the first two volume of the compilations "Playa Del Lounge", it was only a matter of time before Pedro De Mar and Black Hole Recordings joined forces to create Vol. 3. For this 2012 edition, Pedro collected as many unreleased gems as possible, in order to create the ultimate lounge experience all over again. The album features 17 tracks, most of which debut on this particular release. Featured artists include Roger Shah, Richard Durand, Sunlounger and Pedro Del Mar himself, and vocalists such as Andain, Betsie Larkin, Emma Hewitt and Ana Criado. Just like the previous 2, Playa Del Lounge Vol. 3 is a relaxed lounge mixcompilation which is perfect for poolside or late-night dinner gatherings.

Amazing white label release with remixes of Lana Del Rey's Born To Die single. Two Armadillos are the chosen ones to remix the follow up of her huge ''Video Games'' that got remixed by Joy Orbison and Larry Heard. The Two Armadillos chose to do 2 versions. Quite a departure from their established deep house and techno releases is the first slow burning 80bpm dark electronica track utilising the full vocal! Killer mix that has garnered much praise from the few that have already heard it. The flip side gives us a big ''Club dub'' with it's more driving sound that goes somewhere between the known deeper house productions of the Two Armadillos and the exciting fresh sounds from the UK bass scene with its steppy percussion and sub bass stabs. A refreshing remix that's exploring new territories between house and dubstep/bass music and very well fitting to the nice vocals of Lana del Rey!. Maayan Nidamís second album New Moon has many different levels. Stylistically, the Berlin-based producer has created an 11
track collection of alternative electronic rhythms that combines everything from blissful broken beat, to surrealist electro, jazz-
influenced moments, acidic house, exploratory techno, and piano interludes.Psychologically though, there is much more
going on. Clearly unfazed by constructing a bigger, more audacious picture, Nidam links her many different artist desires on this
album through cyclical electronic expressionism. The album is expansive. Disparate influences and eras are joined together
through a subtle interplay of contrast and tone. The beats, repetition and some occasional fruity whistle stops make the journey
absorbing and multi-dimensional.

Marbert Rocel sind leichtfüßig und doch schwer greifbar, sobald man versucht sie zu fassen. Sie kombinieren Tanzmusik mit Songs, Songs mit Keksen und Kekse wieder mit Tanzmusik. Marbert Rocel waren in den letzten Jahren viel live unterwegs, spielten in Deutschland, Holland, Italien, Polen, drinnen, draußen, auf dem Dach, im Keller, in kleiner Runde, vor vielen Leuten und vor richtig vielen Leuten. "Das hat unsere Musik enorm geprägt. Deswegen machen wir jetzt auch Balladen auf 130 bpm." Bei einem Konzert auf Enceladus lernten sie 2010 Martin Kohlstedt kennen, der mit seiner stetigen Achtarmigkeit und seinen Tigerstreifen perfekt in die Band und hinter das Rhodes passte. Marbert Rocel wohnen in einer WG in Leipzig. Jeden Tag läuft hier eine Kick. Manchmal sitzen 4 Typen in 4 Zimmern und drehen an 4 Tracks rum. Wenn es richtig dicke kommt, hört man auch noch das Piano aus der Wohnung darunter. "Das beschreibt schön die musikalisch-familiäre Atmosphäre, in der wir leben." Seit 2011 sind Marbert Rocel deswegen auch bei Buki Good, einer feinen Booking-Agentur aus Leipzig. Alles ist hier fast um die Ecke. Auch das eigene Studio mit einem kleinen See und einem Berg drin, auf den man klettern kann, wenn man gerade mal etwas Ruhe braucht. Dort entstand im Herbst/Winter 2011 das neue Album "Small Hours".

Top disco/house producer Mark E delivers his third remix for Far Out - a distinctive, mesmeric slow-burning mix of Azymuth's 'Meu Mengo', taken from the legendary samba jazz-funk trio's huge new album 'Aurora' (FARO157CD/LP).

'Little Pianist' is the stunning debut album of Japanese duo Bocca Grande. Formed by music producer Kousuke Ishida aka Trio and piano teacher Yuka Kobayashi, Bocca Grande music gives an high value to the classic piano mixed with the electronic vibes. Their beautiful single 'Procedere', that anticipated the release of the album, shows magically their concept, a magnificent and emotional record, 'above any trend' !

As the summer ends and the balmy evenings become a distant memory Jansen Jardin provides a chance to reminisce with the sedated, jazzed out keys of a mysterious Portuguese producer named, Someone.
'Beat' is a superbly crafted and beautifully played combination of Rhodes piano, languid electronics and sparse percussion that brings to mind the work of Metro Area, had they been perilously addicted to Qualudes.
In these times of cut 'n' paste mixes of re-edits of remixes of edits, it's wonderful to hear an original piece of music, full of melody, musicianship and riding such a wonderfully simple yet deliberate groove.
The first remix comes from the enigmatic Texan producer, Vermin, who turned in an excellent mix last year of Rhythm Odyssey's 'Move Groove' on the Lipservice label. Vermin transforms the original track into a seriously wonky, lolloping house groove aimed squarely at dance floors that like it raw and loose! The man given the job of rounding up this truly excellent package is the original master, the Big Bear himself, Stevie Kotey. Stevie has been the mastermind behind so many great tracks over the years and yet again he comes through with a sublime slice of disco action. Keeping the musicality of the original track he pushes the tempo a little higher and delivers a gorgeous, jazzy, dubbed out late night rendition with that ever present Kotey swing.
