The clergy is pleased to introduce you to a new initiate: Birds ov Paradise. This highly anticipated Hypnus debut comes split into three separate EP's which will be released one each full moon starting October.

Some of you may be acquainted with the music of Birds ov Paradise already as he's put out two stellar records on Jens and Aniara Recordings in 2016-2017, as well as making a contribution to our podcast series The Memoir where his sound was put on a grand display. Those of you who are new to the fantastic dream world of this very talented artist will quickly get lost in the flowing rhythms that drives his magical deep techno sound.

Opening track ‘Ectid’ is a free-floating introduction revealing a glorious acid undercurrent. ‘Bbmore’ demonstrates a different kind of approach with the same wistful ingredients, unravelling a tightly wound drum structure from the inside. On ‘Exolite’, the inverse unfolds, as Wells blends experimental textures and introduces stabs of cathartic and deep bass.

Introducing the other half of the release, ‘Culling Virus’ is Wells' take on simmering, paranoid electro. On the pairing of LL0P 1 and LL0P 2, he provides an intermission with two tense locked grooves before concluding the release with the cascading and dense ‘Shnuck’, a psychedelic transmission of complex layered sound design.

Over the course of his discography, Adam Port has made a name for himself as a man of many facets and sentiments. On his new Keinemusik EP, we'll meet him again as the virtuoso of tender, yet inducing tones and grooves, delivering nothing less than an anthemic floor romance on side A, fittingly titled "White Noise Romantica". Another affective sureshot on the flipside - let's rather talk of an AA side here than a B - as Port puts his touch on Yeah But No's single "Run Run Run", originally released last year on Sinnbus.

From his Innervisions debut four years ago, Aera’s productions have only become more complex and melodically inspired. With a title that speaks to the life force inhabiting all beings and things, his return, Prana EP, is imbued with the instincts of a storyteller across six sonically different yet interconnected micro-worlds.

As the tale of Prodigal Son continues, a fresh in your face French duo named Kas:st, the owners of Flyance Records, deliver an outstanding EP. Tracks Raving Alone & Desolation capture their grimey and chilling sound, which resonates well in any space. The remixes come in the form of a sturdy progressive groove version of Raving Alone from Aufnahme + Wiedergabe's Austria based Englishman, Codex Empire. Also Berlin's homegrown rising star Escape To Mars brings a flare of classic techno style to the record with secular rhythms and a transformation of Desolation's noteworthy pads.

ORBE is no stranger to the hypnotic side of techno, and his newest release on Eric Cloutier's recently created Palinoia label properly allows the Spanish artist to do what he does best. Four tracks of deep, psychedelic techno, all slightly twisted and quirky in their own way, the entire EP is perfect for those headsdown nights deep in to the morning on the dancefloor of your favorite darkened club.

CHPTR follow up the much sought after releases on their self titled label with debut LP "Narrative".

We program the time machine to take us to 1999 with this new EP from INVŌKER. Based in Paris, the Frenchman specialises in nuanced me- lodic electronica that delivers absorbing rhythmic energy, cerebral enchantment and spiritual alignment all at once. This four-tracker sees him move through a variety of moods, while holding true to his distinct sound from start to end, while DC Salas steps up for remix duties.

The Hanover based Label Malonian returns with their 3rd release "Calimero EP" by the german producer-team Fusal. In addition to the 2 tracks there is a locked groove, called Dalailoop on the record. Based on friendships, which started in Mamaia.

Oliver Schories is returning to 8Bit Records after a year - with the Monza EP.

Hamburg-based Oliver has been a welcome addition to the Germany house community for more than a decade now. After his latest album, Paradigm, and a collaboration with Jan Blomqvist in the summer of 2020, new original music will be out in January 2021 on Gorge’s and Nick Curly’s 8 Bit imprint.

Opening with the title track, ‘Monza’, a stab-led groove evolves organically adding nuanced layers and a rubbery bass. Warm and inviting, the piano in the first break creates a welcomed tension against the muted vocal ad libs. On the flipside, ‘Levo’ begins with more low end grunt. Melodics develop with time and form the main groove hypnotising the listener before chord sweeps and whispered vocals add warmth and musical depth.

The "Night Without Stars EP" marks the long-awaited solo return to Dynamic Relfection for Deepbass. Drenched in his driving but melodic signature style, Deepbass delivers a two-piece killer cut, ready to transport its listeners to a dark spaced-out world beyond. Topped off by a tripping remix by fellow Glaswegian Edit-Select, this fiery EP is sure to light up even the darkest nights.

Stephan Jolk distils his musical universe into the transcendent sounds of ‘Analogy’.

The title track is another long-awaited gem which has shone in the sets of Tale Of Us. It begins the ascent through a musical journey where distinct elements collide and emotive reactions fill the spaces behind. Each chapter shows Stephan to be a master of melody and cinematic sound design, whether in peak time mode (‘Esplora’) or with more subdued atmospheres (‘Enlighted’). The EP stands out as a bold statement of Stephan Jolk’s vision and what is to come.

Etapp Kyle returns to Ostgut Ton with Nolove, a project encompassing a four-track EP, short film and forthcoming web exhibition focusing on Western Ukraine. Specifically, the music and artwork home in on the cities of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Chernivtsi in Bukovina, where Etapp Kyle grew up and developed his interest in electronic music. Although now part of Ukraine, Bukovina had previously been part of Moldova, the Habsburg Empire, the Russian Empire, Romania and the Soviet Union. Its turbulent history and position on the border of Romania and Moldova have resulted in an extremely varied tapestry of cultural influence, as featured in the video for title track “Nolove”. There, youth, fashion, music culture sit side-by-side next to religion, violence and war – and larger political struggles. The EP gives shape to the musical developments Etapp Kyle has made in both the studio and DJ booth since the release of 2017's Alpha, his latest 12" for Ostgut Ton. In contrast, Nolove's four tracks are minimalistic, detailed electronic ventures inspired by personal reflections on Chernivtsi and Ukrainian cultural identity. Forward-facing in rhythm and melody, the EP offers meticulously-produced leftfield dancefloor impressions of the region’s past, present and future.

Genauer gesagt beziehen sich die Musik und das Artwork auf die Städte Kamjanez-Podilskyj und Czernowitz in der Bukowina, wo Etapp Kyle aufwuchs und sein Interesse an elektronischer Musik entwickelte. LP2 continues his exploration of emotive, dreamy atmospheres, soaked with rich pads and otherworldly arpeggios, juxtaposing it with hectic drum machines, deep bass lines and unusual sampling - evoking industrial music. It’s a slightly warmer and in a way more soothing album than LP1, but at the same time more dance-oriented as well, at some point reminiscent of Earth Trax’s early deep house singles. It’s a fascinating insight in world building, extending the author’s ideas from previous records (either as Earth Trax or Bartosz Kruczyński downtempo releases) much further and treating them more as a starting point rather than reusing them. LP2 again features the gorgeous photography of Kasia Zacharko and design of Kaja Kukuła.

Vril returns to Delsin with a huge cinematic ambient score. Backed with a remix pack of close friends featuring Voiski's driving dub-techno, rattling breaks by His Master's Voice and a thumping 808 electro take in collaboration with Marcel Dettmann.

Figure‘s newest addition to its catalog is Nocow‘s Ualldie EP, a vivid adventure following his trilogy Vozduh/Voda/Zemlya on the main label.

Nocow’s synths stand out once again, churning out melancholic grooves over five pieces, which showcase his abilty to mesh the psychedelic and the heavy, resulting in tracks both bittersweet and punishing.

It‘s a distinct Russianness, a yearning frozen within, which Nocow‘s cloud techno transports effectively using stereo panning, finely layered percussion and wide strings to paint his imaginative landscape.

Innellea and Kevin De Vries have both broken through in the past couple of years, pushing distinctive, high-energy sounds for the floor. On the ‘Hoffnungsschimmer’ EP, the colourful tones of Innellea’s synth work and Kevin’s hard-hitting drama are a perfect match, resulting in three diverse and unique creations. ‘Das Licht’ and ‘Mondfinsternis’ are both euphoric, peak-time efforts full of stirring elements and forward motion. The title track’s more downtempo atmosphere and breakbeats balance the EP into a rounded whole.

Farron continues the Shaw Cuts odyssey with his "Five Element Ninjas" EP, echoing the story of the relentless fight against the elite ninjas with their special skills in different elements: gold, wood, water, fire and earth.

The tale begins with a duel between two rival masters to determine which of their martial arts schools reign supreme. Master Zeng's students are superior by far and win every battle, but Master Hong has an ace up his sleeve. He announces a challenge with the mysterious Five Element ninjas. "Liquid Shorts" and its gigantic drums and menacing spirit spurs on the strongest students facing the challenge. Weapons collide, blows rain down, limbs get chopped. The students are not aware of the strength of the ninjutsu technique. None survive the battle.

Hong's plan to completely destroy Zeng's school moves to the next phase. He sends female spy Senji to Zeng's temple. She secretly makes a map and smuggles it back to her master. In the dead of night the silent ninja offense on the temple takes place, accompanied by the rushing rhythmics and emotive synths of "Contaship". But the assault came too unexpectedly and only one student, Hao, escapes the violence. He returns to his old ninja master to complete the training he began years ago. He joins three other students who want to aid him in his quest for revenge. "Brooklyn Banks" and its eclectic groove, rough chords and dynamic percussion help the students to quickly learn the secret ninjutsu techniques.

Now well-trained and aware of the ninjas' trickery, Hao and his fellow students set off to take revenge. "It's Only 4 Life" sets the sentimental tone for vendetta. The gold and wood ninjas are taken out with ease by the dizzying drumming, the water ninjas cut down to size by staggering hi-hats combined with erratic percussive elements and swooning pads, finally claiming victory over the fire and earth ninjas. Only the leader of the ninjas remains. Escalation! Stay tuned to know the fate of the last man standing...

Ever-impressing UK talent James Dexter makes a return to Bondage-Music this December as he drops his latest three track EP 'Let's Go Back.

2018 has been a substantial year for London based DJ and producer James Dexter, with appearances at the likes of fabric (London), Claire (Amsterdam) and Sash (Sydney) and releases on Little Helpers, Gruuv, Deeperfect and his own Inermu imprint in the past 12 months alone. With the New Year in sight, here we find three new fresh productions in the form of his 'Let's Go Back' EP, marking a return to Bondage Music in the process following his recent remix of Frink's 'Sofisticate' on the imprint.

Title cut 'Let's Go Back' opens proceedings as Dexter reveals an up-front, bumping cut armed with crunchy drum licks, infectious vocal samples and rich, airy chords, before 'Simple Things' utlises further rich and soulful vocals alongside crisp skipping hats and resonant kicks to guide the production through seven minutes of groove driven house music. Last up, Dexter's 'Roll Through' pairs refined, stripped back organic percussion arrangements with wandering synth lines and vocal coos to wrap up the EP in fine fashion.

Four years ago Frigio Records' boss Juanpablo compiled the first instalment of these series and the result was a 12' that unearthed artists from across the globe. Now this second part retraces the same steps while venturing even further afield to source 'Frigio Allstars Vol.2'.

Pera Yang, a veteran of the first compilation, returns for the second instalment. The South Korean artist builds on the rowdy techno energy he brought in 2014, this time arriving with a bruising piece of warped industrial paranoia. Zagreb's Le Chocolat Noir, another member of the Frigio family, offers a similarly psychological work with the slender snares and sepulchral synths of 'Post-Hibernation Re- Activation.' That same grit is carried into Daniel Holt's 'Negative Spiritualism,' the Tennessee musician and half of Vault stabbing synths before running them through with rusted rhythms.

Although new names abound, from the stumbling percussion and buried strings of Japan's Satol to the thumping triumph of Foil's 'Distortion of Reality', there remains a constant, a looming menace and underhanded intent. Artificiero delivers the finale in the form of 'Logia De La Navaja,' a brooding work of ruffled occult wave to close a 12' that gleefully leans into the razor's edge.

ARTSBOX001 - Five years in the making, label boss Emmanuel aimed to deliver what for him was the very best selection of artists and people he could ever imagine under one single roof.

Arts has now passed the landmark number of 100. But the reality is that we divided all the records into different categories, which makes the total number way bigger. Nevertheless, the label has become synonymous with quality and consistency with a wide range of timeless sounds from Techno, House, Dub Techno, Electro, championing some of the most respected names in the scene and pushing the youth and putting this same youth at the very top of the chain, the label philosophy keeps rotating on a different level of orbits trying to reach always the best result and never be influenced by anything in the scene.

The Box is a meticulous work of one entire year, every artist of the 20 selected delivered something that connects deeply with the label and the reason why they are part of it. The study goes beyond when artists get different colors of palettes and a different surface to paint, their known soundscapes come with something freer than the usual approach that they did in their singles. This is a pinnacle for a label that always placed Music in front of everything but kept the design and the aesthetics on a top level each release, each year. ARTS V is here.

To wrap up the label's first year of existence, Animalia continues to shine light on artists exploring Melbourne's deeper side. Prismatic Spring is the new release from OK EG. Over 4 tracks, the Melbourne duo further refine their deep and expansive sound. Acidic excursions that combine bold rhythms, organic textures and evaporating pads to uplifting effect. A lockdown record that imagines light and space, built to be heard and felt on the dance floor.

Valentino Mora returns to Spazio Disponibile with his first full-length 'Underwater'. A mesmerizing listening trip over the course of eight tracks taking you into his deep sea world of dark minimalism and eerie drone rhythm structures.

After Brexit, we thought it would be a brave attempt to snatch the Queen's interpretational sovereignty over the colour purple. So, we have named our new record just like that. Of course, this is only half the truth, as we named all six other UV050 compilation records after colours as well. The purple one, this one right here, is the second to last, completely with the wonderful artwork by Leipzig's Doppeldenk and four tracks to dance your ass off to. Krakow's Chino shows us how to balance perfectly between straightforward urgency and mystic playfulness. His acidic FORBIDDEN VOICES sports just the right amount of chaos to make you go crazy on the dancefloor. Being a spiritual brother for a long time, it's actually the first time Berliner Johannes Albert releases on Uncanny Valley with his VISION UTOPIA, a subtle House bomb, that pushes just the right buttons to trigger your desire to escape into cosmos. Also from Berlin comes Lake People, who does what he does best with ROAMING THE STREETS: A subtle and razor-sharp track that points out that good dance music can sweeten your life everywhere, not only in the club. Finally, RVDS, one of Hamburg's finest, blesses us with MOON OPERATOR, a deep and masterful dive into sonic sceneries that no one has ever listened to before. Except of course for your expert friends, who claim to have heard even the most obscure dreamy Acid track.

In a massive remix package, these artists have compiled their efforts to deliver singular takes on Len Faki‘s ‘Robot Evolution’ off the label‘s recent anniversary compilation FIGURE 100. Benjamin Damage manages to mine the original track for its raw essence, harnessing a rough and lively, yet streamlined high energy track. The clever rework of Charlotte de Witte shows off her deeper side, providing a submerged feel while not losing focus of the floor and sprinkling in the acid stab for good measure. Emika‘s creative interpretation is pairing her bread and butter – pulsing sub-bass and battering grime-style synth-arps – with a completely new vocal dub. Her fresh fusion of genre-specific tropes serves as a delightful surprise and is one to make the heads turn. The Valencia-based producer goes against the grain when it comes to creating electronic music, operating in his own zone and establishing a unique sonic fingerprint. His sound is instantly identifiable and has landed him releases with labels like Kompakt, microCastle, or Watergate. Now he’s back with the TAU family to deliver a selection of avant-garde freshness…
The EP begins with ‘Lupa Clup’, a menacing cut with a rolling rhythm at its core. Upercent gently teases in an eccentric melody that adds a lighter tone to the track and, before we know it, a fevered breakdown arrives to guide us into the booming second half.
‘Esser Conscient’ follows on with more pounding drums setting an ominous mood. A bright pad sweeps in adding an air of mystery, while Upercent gets busy with the percussion, as per usual. In the top layer a variety of keys and wind instruments stir up an emotionally-charged atmosphere before we enter the latter part of this cut, which is full of pulsating energy.
Then we have ‘Carta Oberta’ - an oscillating, rhythmic workout that will ensnare your mind within minutes. This one is pretty minimal, with considered arrangement and the kind of original percussion that Upercent has become renowned for. The track oozes character and takes you on a real journey. Inspired!
Next up is ‘Mentres Tant’ with its groaning bassline and whimsical effects. Once the beat kicks in you’ll be bopping your head uncontrollably. Again, there is just so much inventive flavour in this cut, such an original take on electronic music; there are piano keys, strange twisted vocal clips and an almighty breakdown.

Henry Hyde is back on his usual stomping ground of NorthSouth with some peppy club workouts to get wiggy to. "Locked Out" has plenty of tripped out tones bubbling around the sturdy, Lately bass-fed groove, while "The Red Face Roller" gets more playful with the synth lines without losing the steady, sleek rhythm section. "Start Again" switches the mood but retains the palette, making great use of a grinding bass note to anchor the sprightly blips and dubby bleeps up top. "Leg Le Friend" goes further into the influence of early UK techno with its ethereal pads and intricate melodic elements, capturing the kind of vibe you might have heard on Likemind with a cheeky modern twist.

Following up on Luke Hess brilliant 12" from last year, Supercinema is now back with another stellar release, from sleeve to groove wrapped with passion and emotions.

Belgian native Martin Respaut aka Foreign Material joins the Supercinema family for the labels third outing, a four-track strong EP, full of dreamy poly-rhythms, mesmerizing and colorful sounds that will put any dancefloor into a trance.

Since first surfacing the scene in 2016 under the name of Foreign Material Martin has been releasing music on a plethora of renowned labels like Curle, Circular Limited and his own Co-founded label Norite. Martin describes his music as a link between the past and the future, a mix of ancient myths and future visions.

To complete this release label invited Crossing Avenue, one of the central projects of Donato Dozzy's and Neel's Spazio Disponibile label. Duo is known for their subterranean ambiance in their productions which perfectly reflects on their interpretation here.
