Jesper Dahlback is one of Swedens leading DJs/ producers with a lengthy back catalogue to his name, including co-production on two Tiga albums, the Hugg and Pepp project with cousin John Dahlback, and remixes for the likes of Rex the Dog, Zoo Brazil, Arnaud Rebotini of Black Strobe, Thomas P Heckman, Robyn, The Knife, and Depeche Mode. Jesper has music in his genes, but it was the musical movements in Detroit, Berlin and London that inspired him to start producing techno, back in 1991 in his bedroom studio. Completely hooked, by 1993 he d formed the Stockholm-based Globe Studios together with Peter Benisch and Adam Beyer (following a chance meeting on the train to Love Parade) and has worked there ever since. In 1996 Jesper started the imprint, Blank, mainly for his own material, and simultaneously launched joint venture DK with Thomas Krome - one of the first labels in Sweden with a techno house crossover approach! In addition to making music for various techno labels around the world and working with Planet Rhythm, Jesper met up with Swiss-born Stephan Grieder who had just started the Svek label. The duo started to experiment with different sounds, drawing on house musics roots, utilising vocals and acoustic instruments. Jesper now describes his sound as >ranging between the analogue sounds of the roland sh101 and the precision mathematics of my computer. I m a researcher and developer of unheard sounds! Since the founding of Globe Studios, I have always been looking for new ways to bend the rules and test the unknown. When I DJ, I just play my own productions blending old classics with new unreleased demos.< A producer first and foremost, Jespers DJ dates find him weaving a soundscape of his productions, remixes and collaborations with new material at every gig, as well as musical elements and sounds worked through the set.

Label boss Nic Fanciulli makes his first appearance on the label for 2012 and presents a strong package which consists of 2 of his biggest remixes in recent years. First up on the A side is his take on Radio Slave's classic, "Grindhouse". The mix has been highlight of Nic's sets for the past 6 months and is a sure thing to be rocking many parties in the summer months to come. Up on the B side is his remix of Loco Dice's "Definition" which also gets a release after a long and successful spell on the underground.

Born out of a shared vision of musical inspiration, the duo of D-Nox & Beckers has, over the last 4 years, firmly entrenched itself into the landscape of the worldwide electronic community. Working as a perfect fusion of studio expertise and an impeccable dancefloor touch, this creative combination of Christian "D-Nox" Wedekind and Frank Beckers has become a an unfailing source of massive grooves which have successfully infected (infiltrated) all corners of the globe. With more than a quarter century of combined DJing and producing experience between them, D-Nox & Beckers effectively merge a seasoned musical grounding with a dynamic creative spark that never fails in its ability to adapt to the ever-changing vista of electronic dance music.

Prior to the beginning of their collaborative work, both D-Nox and Frank Beckers were each well established in the electronic music scene, with a multitude of success both as DJs and in the studio. D-Nox began his career in Germany's vibrant techno scene in the early-90s, and quickly became a fixture in clubs across the country. An aptitude for enveloping and captivating dancefloors with his incomparable style saw his booking diary expand to a global scale, while his increasingly frequent forays into the studio brought a number of releases as well as the birth of his own successful imprint, Sprout Music. With training as a musician from childhood, Frank Beckers compositional gift has always been evident. A string of full-length album and single releases under a variety of guises developed a sound steeped in detailed rhythms and savvy harmonies, as well as keeping Frank's services as an actively-touring DJ in high demand.

In the time since their debut release saw the light of day in late-2004, the emergence of D-Nox & Beckers has been nothing short of astounding. Their numerous releases on a variety of top labels along with constant remix requests for artists such as Minilogue, Lützenkirchen, Nick Muir, Tocadisco and many others have become ubiquitous on worldwide dancefloors, with their works appearing in the cases and playlists of countless top DJs. Their 2007 album Left Behind on Electribe was met with acclaim and led to a heavy worldwide touring schedule with constant appearances in thriving musical centers in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and across the globe. The first half of 2008 has only seen this duo gaining further momentum with the release the highly-received mixed CD City Lights, recognition as one of the top artists in Beatport's Music Awards, a first appearance for D-Nox in DJMag's top 250 DJs and being signed to Marc Romboy's legendary Systematic Recordings for a new single.

Rather than following the current trends, D-Nox & Beckers have placed themselves squarely at the forefront of the evolution of electronic dance music. Johnny Kaos & Mattew Jay's "Crawler", along with Luca Morris and Marka T's "Coming Front", has been a fixture on Richie Hawtin's live selection over the last months, and rightly so: both tracks boast mammoth bass lines and infectious rhythms, coupled with groovy vocal snippets. Johnny Kaos also teams up with label owners and Italy's finest, MiniCoolBoyz, to deliver "In The Dark Room", another incendiary dance floor stomper, heavy on fat low frequencies and eerie vibes. Sam Paganini, one of the key producers in the field with recent eps on Plus8 and Drumcode, tops off the release with "Vertigo", a super catchy and upbeat number that has proven to cause total craziness in clubs all over the world. Having been a fan of Reelow for, well, as long as we care to remember, we are really proud to present you his new outstanding EP on Cellaa Music. Now residing on Ibiza, Reelow has enjoyed yet another successful year. With the talent taking a back seat, its the music hogging the spotlight and rightly so. Two new Tracks and two massive Remixes that look to the past whilst sitting firmly in the present.

- Leave Me Alone' riding on massive percussion and a tough house beat, with this tough Drums and drunken, wubby Sounds it is running right through its core. Plenty of sonic details flesh out the languorous but slightly groove and you'd imagine this Track is to be the sort of many Artits will love.

- Your Crowd' is again about little tiny details and how they evolve with time. This one take you on a voyage of natural rhythms and big Drums. Developing from harmonic FX Sounds and a infectious groove, the track is full of surprises as it twists and turns into different sounds that come and go to take it further than the dancefloor.

The first of the remixes comes from the in form, Massimo Cassini. He team up with a hypnotic rework of - Leave Me Alone' that demonstrates just why he is one to keep a close eye on as he gears up on the production front. Massimo is delivering a muscular house bomb, carefully placed FXs and a nice and catchy line to make this a dancefloor mover.

Next we have Cellaa Music Co Founder Martin Heyder providing a soulful tech house surrogate to the original of - Your Crowd'. His remix has a deeper houseier twist with a smooth 303 pad sound and a concrete percussive arrangement to convey a fantastic production.

Back in April, Slovenia's Valentino Kanzyani dropped the first half of a two part underground house EP on Cadenza, titled 'Love & Gratitude EP1. It was his debut release on Luciano's label, and was dark and funky for the most part, with the majority of the four tracks' energy coming from percussion and raw beats (Kanzyani is currently working on an album for Cadenza, which will contain mainly new and unreleased tracks). 'Love & Gratitude EP2 is more heady and hypnotic. Throbbing beats and relentless kick drums drive the rhythms forward, whilst swirling synthesizers and experimental techno soundscapes diffuse the grooves, creating contrast and tonal changes. If anything, the gentle melodies and subtle musicality of Kanzyani's three new original tracks here (the fourth track is a dub edit of the last EP's El Circulo De La Vida cut) create a kind of dancefloor psycheism, where the mind moves in a different spatial plane to the feet, encouraging you to drift off into alternate dimensions. The first track 'Mirvan' is the heaviest cut on the EP, and has a tension and vibe similar to the raw rhythms that Berghain residents Ben Klock or Marcel Dettmann might play at the Berlin techno temple. When some pads fade in around the 2:30 mark, you can sense Kanzyani's desires to coerce you into a dreamlike state. The sounds are infinite and all pervasive, like outer space, forever expanding beyond the reaches of any known logic or meaning. The beats are drowned out at points by the ever-growing black hole of sound, however the drumming is reliable and constant, like an engine that never stutters. The second track 'Chanta Lopez' is more housey, with a tangible bassline and more swing in the groove. Loose claps on alternating delay patterns keep the tension high in the first part of the track, before a metallic, machine-like synth cranks into gear. Unlike 'Mirvan', the synth has a recognizable melody and moves with purpose. At times, the synth combinations almost turn into an aco

The first release is always a big milestone for any label. In our case the first one (Astrac EP) is also a long anticipated one, the title track waiting to be released for a long time. So far there is nothing ordinary about Ztrl's career as he had a big fan base without a single release or a DJ gig. As a result of his ongoing inspiration by Ricardo Villalobos and encouragement from a:rpia:r's Petre Inspirescu among others he sharpened his producer skills which yielded Astrac EP, another 2013 release on Pluie/Noir Recordings' compilation ('Pluie/Noir Year One') and an independent release on Soul.On Records titled 'Soul Two' which was also remixed by the Hungarian Laurine Frost. On top of his producer activity he's an avid record collector and a regular guest on UK's Rejam Radio Show, he's also done a podcast mix for the Romanian Nightclubber webzine's Unknown 500 series.
