the uk's leading techno labels of its time, an era that many people now refer to as the golden age of banging techno. Now in 2013 the label
rises again with the first release from Radionasty with two killer remixes from Ben Sims, plus future releases planned from the

There is no better way to celebrate than to re-release music that has been most influential to us. Once again, we go back to Chicago for this magnificent and official Bam Bam Westbrook's Classic EP.

A side is for the real classics and the masters: Armando and Bam Bam. Two of the rarest and most sought after acid tunes from the Chi.

For the B side, Chris "Bam Bam" Westbrook dug through his archives and gave us two unreleased monsters from 1989 "Move To Da Groove" and 1988 "Nightlife".

Last year, a producer from Bari, Italy contacted Komisch to send a demo. Like most labels, we get emails and messages from new producers. We try our best to listen to them and if it's possible, to offer some advice.

When we heard Christian Lisco's demo, it was clear straight away that he didn't need any words of encouragement about his music or its structure.

It was also obvious that despite being a young producer, his sound was far more mature than any other demo Komisch had received (apart from SP-X) - and we had to release it.

So this is Christian's first EP. It's more housey than the usual Komisch sound, but its rhythms and beats are tough and robust, its early 90s techno melodies are irresistible, the acidic bleeps also redolent of early dance music and Lisco's arranging is understated and crafty.

Fantastic release by Donnie Tempo! 4 old school Chicago house jams. Recommended!

Turbo Recordings presents a stellar new EP from emerging UK producer joeFarr, the latest addition to the label's New Jack Techno stable.
The gamut of Turbo releases can range from big-name big-deals to cult favorites to relative unknowns. The past year has seen the label delve more deeply into the latter category, scouting new talent and signing material entirely on the basis of the music, rather than preconception, hype or cronyism. With this release from young UK producer joeFarr, the label continues to expand its burgeoning New Jack Techno roster, which has been embraced by everyone from superstar DJs to highbrow tastemakers like Resident Advisor.
The title track's moody synth intro gives way to bleeped-out party vibes, riding an insistent groove that strikes a balance between loopy mania and techno intensity. Meanwhile, "FE CR" welds clanging percussion to dark atmospherics and a relentless distorted acid line. Finally, "You Got Some Front" is an industrial-tinged banger that crosses the line into glowstick-eating rave madness.

Raw pulsating and sinister nordic monotone electronix recorded in 1993 by Frak released on Borft as cassette, and now 20 years later finally on vinyl thanks to iDEAL records from Sweden. Analogue to Analogue.

Miss Djax is proof that age doesn't necessarily always bring peace. For 25 years now, she has stomped on the face of techno and acid with hard punishing beats and radioactive 303 sounds.

With her new release 'From Within' she goes back to the acid sound of the nineties. She recorded the 4 tracks live in her little analog home studio just like in the old days.
'From Within' is a tribute to her old-skool fans. A release on solid 180 grams yellow coloured vinyl in a limited edition of 200 copies only.

The renegade instincts of acid might be long gone but in Djax Records' corner there is still an axe that needs swinging!

Amiga Shock Force. Once referred to as the most brutal Hardcore / Breakcore act on the German scene had their vinyl debut back in 1996 on Speedcore Records, progressed to the legendary Hamburg-based Ultra Hardcore label FISCHKOPF before unleashing more madness via BLUT with their - CRUSH-SUICIDE EP' which brings nothing but distorted Speedcore terror and Breakcore alerts.

Featuring a dark'ish ultrafast Speedcore rip-off of Sash's mid-90s Trance hit - Encore Un Fois' this heavy gem seemed to be lost forever after the BLUT label closed down but now the long forgotten backstock of the - CRUSH-SUICIDE EP' is available again.

Ralph Cumbers' debut Bass Clef 12' for PAN sees the modular maestro stalking the 'floor with typical, technical suss and cheeky UK humour. The 'Raven Yr Own Worl' EP is the latest and most sharply focussed in a golden streak of releases which have seen the London-based producer tour some of the bastions of British electronica, from Punch Drunk to Alter and Public Information, not to mention his own, cultishly adored Magic + Dreams label. Thru the prism of his favoured BugBrand Modular system - handmade by Bristol's Tom Bug - the four tracks of his 'Raven Yr Own Worl' EP patch a lattice of reference ports between Radiophonic experimentation, bedroom electronica, classic dub production techniques, and the not-so-distant spirits of halcyon UK rave music His 'Self-Perpetuating Fun Loop' is razor-sharp acid funk in the tradition of Luke Vibert and the Rephlex hordes, and 'Fluorescent City Shining City' a deftly playful piece of acid dub strut recalling early Two Lone Swordsmen. His bleep techno tribute 'Euphoric Nihilism' is possibly the most intricate and evocative number, also flashing glimpses of 'ardcore whistles and EBM in its tightly coiled matrix, whilst 'Adventures Unventured, Tenderness Untendered' is a blissed steppers' kiss off meeting digi-dub and misty-eyed IDM at the warehouse. The effortless fluidity and charm of these tracks belies the skill, personality and intuitively dextrous approach of Bass Clef and his affinity with the machine. They're timeless pieces of UK electronica carrying the weight of heritage forward.

London's famous long-running I LOVE ACID clubnight now present a series of vinyl releases exploring the sound of the Roland TB303, starting with 4 tracks of proper high-pedigree analogue acid from Room 13 (aka DMX Krew & Bass Junkie) plus a remix from Matt Whitehead.

The Death Of Rave's fifth turn presents a lesser-heard aspect of L.A.-based producer, Delroy Edwards. Whilst best known for making bangers steeped in raw Chicago Ghetto-House for L.I.E.S and his own L.A. Club Resource, Delroy's 'Teenage Tapes' LP yields eight trax built with a similarly stripped-down approach, yet with altogether different results owing more to Minimal Wave, Noise, EBM, and Black Metal. Half of the release documents reel-to-reel and guitar pedal experiments recorded to tape while Delroy was at Art College, which he's been saving for the right release. The other half stems from more recent sessions on his SH-101 and drum machine that didn't quite fit in with his pounding DJ tools. Those nascent, freeform Noise pieces range from intense, bilious drones to vicious, combustible little buggers nodding to classic Prurient and The Haters, whereas the improvised, rhythm-driven cuts bear comparison with Liasons Dangereuses' EBM blueprints, the motorik momentum of Wold, and the obscure early '90s tape experiments of Tuning Circuits. Committed to worn-out tape in one-take shots over a number of years, it's all testament to the spirit of febrile spontaneity and disciplined dexterity consistent to Delroy's art, an aesthetic acutely at odds with so much anodyne dance music and manicured noise.

In the not so distant past, a certain Chicago house sound found it's way to clubs worldwide. A jacking house sound made up of anything producers could get there hands on. If you had a cool alarm sound, you could throw it under a 909 and watch dancers freak out. DJ Rafael's new EP for On The Prowl is a nod to that era. While he's not using an alarm as his tool, you'll notice the "in your face" style in which it's based upon. Some of you might know Rafael from his earlier Miracles Club releases for Cutters and Mexican Summer. This time around Rafael Fauria joins friend Brian Foote for some on the edge jack tracks which are both packed with acid and foot stomping percussion.

Straight outta Glasgow comes a fresh new label with a mindset aimed squarely at the dance floor! The first release comes from Detroits Acid House maestro Jared Wilson.Three trax of raw analogue emotion, kicking off with the A-side track "Why Trust", an epic and futuristic acid builder, cut loud for maximum effect, it gets more insane as the track progresses. On the flip we have the title track "Unknown Desires" delving into deeper, aquatic territories, followed by "Challenging Shadows" a gorgeous synth laden track reminiscent of classic Mr Fingers work.A great first release from a label that is guaranteed to be buy on sight.Essential Hand stamped labels on red marble vinyl too!
