Message From A Drum is the third album by the Native American/Mexican band Redbone, released in 1971. It was released in Europe under the name The Witch Queen Of New Orleans with the same track list but a different cover. Message From A Drum was placed 75th in the Billboard 200 in 1972.

There are very few groups in Rock music more unique in sound and appearance like Redbone. Message From A Drum is one of the best albums from their career.

The album is created in collaboration with Robert A. Bellamy, Tony Bellamy, Pete Depoe, Lolly Vegas, and Pat Vegas.

Warren Zevon is a Rock & Roll album recorded in 1975 and released in 1976 by the artist of the same name. The album features guest appearances of artists like Jackson Browne, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, Phil Everly, Don Henley and Glenn Frey, Bonnie Raitt and many more.

Warren Zevon was a ten-year music industry veteran who had written songs for The Turtles, backed up Phil Everly, done years of session work, and been befriended by Jackson Browne by the time he cut his self-titled album in 1976. Zevon sure didn't think (or write) like any of his pals in the Eagles or Fleetwood Mac; Zevon's music was full of blood, bile, and mean-spirited irony, and the glossy surfaces of Jackson Browne's production failed to disguise the bitter heart of the songs on Warren Zevon.

For all their darkness, Zevon's songs also possessed a steely intelligence, a winning wit, and an unusually sophisticated melodic sense, and he certainly made the most of the high-priced help who backed him on the album. This was the album that confirmed he was a major talent, and it remains a black-hearted Pop delight.

The musical score for the 7th installment of The Fast & The Furious franchise is composed by Brian Tyler, an American composer, arranger, producer, musician, and songwriter. Tyler has composed scores for film, television and video games, including scores for the third, fourth, and fifth episodes of The Fast & The Furious.

Brian Tyler is easily one of the busiest composers around today. Tyler won Composer of the Year at the 2013 Cue Awards and was nominated for a 2014 BAFTA Award. In 2010, Tyler was inducted into the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As of May 2015 his films have grossed $9.5 billion worldwide.

When discussing the creation of the score, Tyler explained: 'The music uses modern recording techniques, vintage modular synthesizers, mashed-up beats, drums and tweaked remix elements along with classic film scoring traditions including full orchestra, piano, voice and classical guitar. I am so proud of the movie, and I dedicate the score to the memory of Paul Walker and all the joy he brought.'

The Big Chill is a 1983 American comedy-drama film directed by Lawrence Kasdan. It is about a close-knit gang of friends, including an actor (JoBeth Williams), a doctor (Glenn Close) and her husband (Kevin Kline), a Vietnam veteran (William Hurt), and a journalist (Tom Berenger) who reunite after 15 years when one of their friends, Alex, commits suicide. The friends spend the weekend confronting the personal truths, sacrifices and betrayals that have left them disenchanted. Each must contend with unresolved issues they have with Alex, and with one another.

The soundtrack by Motown features soul, R&B and pop-rock musicians from the 1960s and 70s, including Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and Three Dog Night. It also includes the classic Procol Harum track 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale'.

Jodorowsky's Dune tells the tale of cult filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky's unsuccessful attempt to adapt Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel, Dune, to the big screen. Building upon director Frank Pavich's idea for a score with a Tangerine Dream-type feel,' Stenzel lays out a cosmic arsenal of analog synthesizers that would make any collector green at the gills: among other gems are a rare Moog Source, CZ-101s, and a Roland Juno 6, as well as unorthodox instruments like a toy Concertmate organ and a Nintendo DS. I also played guitar and did vocals,' says Stenzel, some chanting... and some screaming, which comes naturally to me.' The score also features narration by Jodorowsky himself. As Stenzel notes, Jodo's voice is actually the soundtrack's main musical instrument-listening to him was almost like hypnosis, like going to the guru every night.'

This highly-anticipated soundtrack LP was sequenced and mixed by Stenzel with the listener in mind and flows through a four-sides' LP approach. I wanted it to play like the records I grew up with, where every side was a journey.'

One of a handful of masterful films Fellini made during the

As usual, his longtime musical collaborator, Nino Rota, substantially enhances the dreamy proceedings with a music hall melange of Jazz, Classical, Lounge, and circus music. Rota moves the main title theme through a mix of operatic interludes, cabaret swing, polka romps, and organ combo ditties.

Queimada"-edited in the USA as "Burn!" -is a film directed by Gillo Pontecorvo, released in 1969 and almost entirely filmed in Colombia; the two main actors are the world famous Marlon Brando (soon to be the main character in "The Godfather") and the unknown Evaristo Márquez, a true indigenous strongly wanted by Pontecorvo on the set, to make his fiction even more realistic.

The realization of the soundtrack was commissioned to the untiring Morricone, here assisted by conductor Bruno Nicolai and Alessandro Alessandroni choristers, the latter featured in particular in the epic opening track "Abolição" and "Hosanna". Orchestrations are still present, but the distinguishing feature of this work is a virtually exclusive and obsessive use of acoustic tribal percussions, and a Hammond organ that sometimes adds an almost police/detective movies feeling.

This work is almost full of dramatic tones, for a film that still casts a strong message against colonialism, but more generally against wars, oppression and exploitation.

This is an exclusive reissue, for an album that waited 45 years to be repressed on vinyl! Colored vinyl edition (orange & clear transparent mixed) with many bonus tracks, enclosed in a cover gatefold with a completely renewed artwork and a 30x30cm poster with film flyers and lobby cards reproductions.

Just before Heart recorded the album that became Bebe Le Strange, the band was faced with one of their biggest challenges. In October of 1979, founding member Roger Fisher was asked to leave the group (after the relationship between him and Nancy Wilson had already ended, and Wilson was now dating drummer Mike Derosier - while her sister Ann was still dating Roger Fisher's brother Michael, the band's manager). So, while Heart recorded their fifth LP in Seattle in Winter of 1979, it was their first album without Fisher's guitar playing or song writing.

Instead, Sue Ennis (a longtime friend of Ann and Nancy Wilson's) was brought in to help out co-writing tunes, and she also played some guitar and piano on the album. Collectively, Sue, Ann and Nancy called themselves "Connie" and their lyrics were more personal than ever before. Once Nancy Wilson and Roger Fisher had broken up, the creative powers in the band shifted. The Wilson sisters were now in full control. Originally released on February 14, 1980, the album contains the singles "Even It Up" and "Bebe Le Strang", and eventually certified Gold.

Nino Rota is the Italian composer responsible for the well known film scores for The Godfather series (MOVATM036), though the breadth of his work extends to opera, ballet and concertos. He was born into a musical family and studied in Italy before moving to America in the early 1930s. By the 40s he was writing film scores and soon developed a long standing creative partnership with the respected and influential film director Frederico Fellini.

Fellini made Il Bidone (also known as The Swindle or The Swindlers) in 1955. Released one year after the director's internationally successful La Strada, Il Bidone continues with many of the same socially conscious, neorealist- inspired themes while minimizing the poetic realism and extravagant vitality, that is today known as "felliniesque", in favor of a more pointed political stance.

The film follows the exploits of a group of swindlers, focusing on their aging leader Augusto, as they go about their "business," reaping both rewards and consequences.

John Carpenter's 1980 follow-up film to his smash hit Halloween featured ghost sailors terrorizing a Californian coastal community as a dense fog descends on their homes.



The multi-talented filmmaker's atmospheric synthesiser score has long been a soundtrack favourite and this double album features a 20 track LP of the entire score, drawn from the original tapes, remastered by long-time Carpenter collaborator Alan Howarth on the A/B sides and the original album which featured 20 minutes of newly released music on the C/D sides.



I went back to Sound Arts Studio in central Los Angeles and quickly began composing and recording new tracks. Dan Wyman, my creative consultant on Assault On Precinct 13 and Halloween was at my side programming the synthesizers, keeping a critical eye on my multi-tracked performances and maintaining quality control over the long hours of recording and mixing. Now GDM Music adjusts the time line producing the 33 rpm vinyl album that never saw the light in 1972, using a stereo master tape assembled at the time, but never printed.

LA TRAPPOLA SCATTA A BEIRUT (Agent 505 Todesfalle Beirut) is a spy movie directed in 1966 by Manfred R. Kohler and starring Frederick Stafford, Chris Howland, Geneviève Cluny. Diverted from its deserved holiday, the agent S5S, is sent along with a faithful collaborator in Beirut, where there is reason to suspect the presence of a band of criminals about to carry out an attack against the whole humanity. At that time not even a 45 rpm single with music by Ennio Morricone was printed. Now GDM Music is happy to produce an EP 10" creating a record in the style of those that came in the fifties / sixties with a retro flavor, using the original mono master tape.

GDM Music is pleased to reprint one of the rarest 33 rpm of RCA: "Ciao, Rudy," starring Marcello Mastroianni on stage, in the 1966 jazzy version performed by Armando Trovajoli on piano, Carlo Pes on guitar, Maurizio Majorana on bass, Roberto Podio on drums. The themes like Quattro palmi di terra in California', Abbiamo Julio', Questo si chiama amore', Piaceva alle donne' from the famous musical of Garinei and Giovannini written with Luigi Magni with music by Armando Trovajoli relives here a new light through extraordinary Lounge revisitings with the sound of the fabulous Marc 4, which in recent times have been rediscovered and re-evaluated by the younger generations. For this reprint was used the mono master tape of the original 33 rpm.

We had access to the original master tapes thanks to Maestro Roberto Zamori, and we can now proudly presents, for the first time ever, the soundtrack composed and directed by Aldo Piga for the 1962 horror movie La Strage Dei Vampiri (a.k.a. Slaughter Of The Vampires) directed by Roberto Mauri and starring Walter Brandi, Dieter Eppler, Graziella Granata.

The music composed by Maestro Aldo Piga for "La strage dei Vampiri" is a wonderful example of the essence of Italian Opera composed for an intense love story, in the style of Mascagni and Puccini, just to mention two of the best Italian Opera composers.

Even without the movie images, this really great score stands by itself as a superb page of dramatic and lovely music. On the other hand, while watching the movie, the superb orchestration is able to convey to the viewer, especially in the sequences with piano and orchestra, the excitement of the beautiful love drama.
