After Gli Arcangeli, but before Gungala and L'uomo dagli occhiali a specchio, Italian Master Sandro Brugnolini composed the soundtrack for Fantabulous, a stunning pop movie inspired by the world of comics, superheroes and secret agents, directed by Sergio Spina in 1967. The music is a mixture of jazz, mod sounds and psych-beat, where Brugnolini adapts his jazz leanings to the new musical fashions of the day: soul, R&B and psychedelia. This soundtrack was from ever almost officially out of print, languishing up to now in the deepest reaches of obscurity, much sought-after both for the elusive BEAT Records 7',

published at the time to promote the two songs in the film, but even more so for the original LP, a real ghost-album which never appeared anywhere or anytime. The Four Flies issue for the first time reconstructs this incredible soundtrack in its entirety, thanks to a meticulous restoration work obtained from two different master tapes kept in the personal

archives of Brugnolini himself and BEAT Records. Also included is the 7' with two alternative mix (never before published anywhere) of the tracks performed by Gepy: a real treat for soul and R&B DJs all over the world.!

Lou Reed's latest collection, Rock and Roll Heart wasn't a showcase for the usual diverse aspects of Lou Reed's musical outpouring, moreover, it was a shower of bullets, shot at any given interested targets. Unfortunately for Reed, most of the shots missed, but we can be certain that the gun was loaded, what with, is up for countless debate. His Boston show from October 1976 at the Orpheum Theater drew the usual suspects with a snapshot of young punks and nearly crossed the line at missing out a performance of Heroin which when played, differed remarkably from the more familiar versions rolled out on stage since the early days with Nico et al and Transformer. WBCN-FM's presence warranted expectation that maybe Reed didn't necessarily want or respect, but Reed's vision is rarely blurred. The familiar resolute figure took the stage with the singular demeanour he was authorised to parade, but with the quiet seduction and subdued authority that always set him apart.

Pre-Cert, short for pre-certication video, is a UK phrase that refers to a VHS tape released prior to the introduction of the 1984 Video Recordings Act. As the then new VHS market was completely unregulated, these editions were not required to be submitted to the BBFC, meaning the releases were completely uncensored - soon leading to the "video nasties" outrage. Today these tapes are sought after
items on the collector's market. With his Cineploit debut, Magnus Sellergren set out to further and improve on the concept of Videogram's previous "S/T" 2014 album. Inspiration was drawn from the same sources as the previous full length effort, with the key words being bigger,
better, and more produced. The result is an album created during a six-month period, between January and June 2015, starting with a total of thirty-some tracks that were written, then re-written - in some cases even completely rearranged - polished, and nally whittled down to a thirteen-track, 40+ minute full length LP/CD. Starting off with the now-familiar Videogram idents, Pre-Cert covers an assortment of classic genre-inuenced sounds; from occult horror, 1980s Cannon action, thrillers and post-apocalyptics to "cannibal freakouts" (as he affectionately calls them), Italian-produced erotica, 1970s Spanish horror, the iconic Friday the 13th series and climaxing with a mammoth ve-part, 13-minute tribute to John Carpenter's sci- horror classic "The Thing". End of Summer captures Jóhann Jóhannsson's journey to the Antarctic Peninsula to discover the calm scenery of a landscape changing seasons, barely influenced or even noticed by humanity. The super 8 film is a comforting study of a peaceful setting in one of the most crucial and endangered areas of our planet.

Accompanied by rich and detailed field recordings of the surrounding this footage makes a perfect foundation for Jóhann's musical compositions, performed together with fellow musicians and friends Hildur Guðnadóttir and Robert A. A. Lowe. The varying use of cello, voice, synthesizer and electronics creates a listening experience that reflects both the vast beauty of the quiet scenery and the necessary cautiousness of its inhabitants. As if gliding through the steep ice, its rough edges and the harmonious water movements, organic arrangements are patiently devolving into voice and electronic based ambience that adds warmth to the icy, artefact laden environment.

This is the original motion picture soundtrack to 'Catastrophe 1999' (aka 'The Prophecies Of Nostradamus'), directed by Toshio Masuda in 1974.

Composed, arranged and conducted by Isao Tomita (who also played the synthesizer music for the soundtrack), it was released by Tam on LP in 1974 in Japan only. Some must say that ALL of Tomita's albums are rarities, but what we have here is probably the best and rarest soundtrack composed by the Maestro.

The soundtrack to Tim Burton's neo classic moving picture Big Fish (2003), starring Ewan McGregor, Helena Bonham Carter, Marion Cotillard and Jessica Lange, collects classic Pop songs and a score of longtime collaborator Danny Elfman (Edward Scissorhands, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mars Attacks! and others).

The western Slow West is written and directed by John Maclean and stars Michael Fassbender, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Mendelsohn, and Caren Pistorius. The movie is set the end of the
19th century and follows a 16-year-old who journeys across the American frontier in search of the woman he loves. The western premiered at 2015's Sundance Film festival where it earned the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Dramatic category.

Joseph moved from Stax to Atlantic in 1972, and recorded this self-titled LP the following year. Produced by Arif Mardin, Margie Joseph offers an enjoyable mix of Northern and Southern soul styles.

Much of the album is devoted to covers, and the songs that Joseph embraces range from Ellington Jordan's 'I'd Rather Go Blind' and Al Green's 'Let's Stay Together' to Brook Benton's 'I'll Take Care of You'. Joseph also picks a Dolly Parton song, putting a soul spin on 'Touch Your Woman.'

Pitchfork Media ranked Saturdays = Youth at number eight on its list of The 50 Best Albums of 2008, and it was also named the best album of 2008 by Drowned in Sound.

Alex North's work for ballet , symphony orchestra, television and film continues to stand the test of time almost 25 years after his
death. Although nominated 15 times for an Academy Award, it wasn't until 1986 that he was finally given due recognition when
a Lifetime Achievement Oscar was bestowed upon him. But, as this soundtrack LP so amply demonstrates, his pioneering work
on Streetcar remains one of Alex North's crowning achievements.

When Luis Enrique Bacalov received an Academy Award for his musical score for the film The Postman in 1995, it marked one of the few times that he's been recognized in the United States. In Europe, however, Bacalov has long been known as a leading film composer, having written and arranged many scores for Italian films.

Bacalov's career has been going strong since moving to Rome in the late '50s. He became more involved with film scoring in 1958 when he worked as an assistant to film composer Ennio Morricone. Although he composed scores for dramatic films Il Vangelo Secondo Matteo, La Noia, and Extraconiugale in 1964, Bacalov made his greatest mark with his scores for spaghetti westerns, including Sugar Colt in 1966 and Lo Chiamvano Mezzogiorno in 1972. Bacalov first attracted international acclaim for his scoring of the Fellini film La Citta Della Donne in 1967.
