As the follow-up of Pantera the brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott started the band Damageplan. In their short existence they recorded one album, New Found Power. The album contains some strong material by this experienced band members. The musically powerful Fuck You' is a statement in which the fast and aggressive guitars are much stronger than the lyrics. Title track New Found Power' got its moment in the catchy riffs and the double bass. It's a new beginning in which they showed the Pantera fans that they can still rock the world.

The short existence of the band Damageplan can be accounted to a fan' who killed guitarist Dimebag Darrell and three others during one of their live performances. Two member of the band joined the band Hellyeah, and Lachman joined The Mercy Clinic.

New Found Power is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on coloured (gold and solid red mixed) vinyl.

Many years in the works, Ogon Batto finally unleashes his album Hedoro'. A journey into Japanese soundtracks and 90's adventure-gaming.

Ogon Batto is Bent Von Bent from Antwerp, Belgium. Besides working as a visual artist around archiving systems and collections, he is also the co-runner of the Hare Akedod label, together with David Edren aka DSR Lines. Following his debut release, Ogon Batto secretly started working on a second album Hedoro, meaning slime' or chemical ooze'.

Bent is immensly fascinated by Japanese traditional and contemporary culture ever since he first visited the country. Mixing his European background with these Japanese influences, he shifts easily between abstract electronic tracks and pieces with a more classical Japanese tool kit. Think Oneohtrix Point Never or Mica Levi composing a soundtrack to a fantasy game.

With an amazing sense for detail Hedoro's musical story - entirely composed with synthesizers - is reduced to a collection of situations and drama, with space for suggestion and imagination. Every track, how short it may be, is essential to the whole, maximizing the general dramatic effect.

The album was mixed in Sapporo, Japan with the typical sounds of cicadas on the background ( not on the album though ) and some glasses of sake. The ceramic sculpture on the front cover is a reinterpretation of Rolls Royce's "Spirit of Ecstasy'and is created by Benny Van den Meulengracht-Vrancx.

In a handful of improvised albums circumnavigating the troubled waters of the contemporary Mediterranean - Greece, with the eponymous Oiseaux-Tempête (2013), Turkey and Sicily for ÜTOPIYA (2015), Lebanon with AL-'AN! (2017) - the collective OISEAUX-TEMPÊTE has stretched its electric arc over musical genres and borders, imposing itself in a river of tours and releases like a wild UFO within the hexagonal indie scene. Navigating instinct, as attracted by disorder, the music of OISEAUX TEMPÊTE has always increased tenfold in live performance. It is little surprise that following the remixes album (Re-Works, 2014) and collection of BSides

TARAB (in literary arabic - euphoria, secular exaltation, ecstasy) is the result of live recordings captured during the AL-'AN! tour which led the group, after a preliminary residency at l'Autre Canal in Nancy, to cross Europe and into Canada, performing at the prestigious festival Le Guess Who in Utrecht, opening for Suuns & Jerusalem In My Heart in Montreal and Toronto, following the same Jerusalem In My Heart through France then from Brussels to Berlin, and finally closing the loop at the Irtijal festival in Beirut. A record, rooted in the soil,
hypnotic in pulsation, TARAB is a meeting of the Parisian founding members Frédéric D. Oberland and Stéphane Pigneul, electronic sound wizard Mondkopf, G.W.Sok from The Ex, Sylvain Joasson
of Mendelson, videographers As Human Pattern and the Lebanese musicians Charbel Haber, Abed Kobeissy and Ali El Hout (aka Two Or The Dragon). The studio pieces are here stretched, deconstructed
and rearranged while new works from the road , poems 'Grasse Matinée' by Jacques Prévert and "Tuesday And The Weather Is Clear "by Mahmoud Darwish, find unique musical settings, weaved, twisted and reimagined.

It is in symbiosis, in the fever and visceral experimentation of the concert, that the musicians of OISEAUX-TEMPÊTE seek rapture. Arranged in a semicircle, they invoke the elements and attempt the catharsis, inviting the spectator to spiral with them, entwined in the sonic explosions, finding beauty and peace in the spaces of improvisation and elaboration. Sonically, This is an outgrowth of their last release, Meta, which saw the band beginning to experiment with ambient & vocal looping, flutes, synthesizers. Those explorations are present here, as is the notable (and permanent) addition of a second drummer, which is defined through the mixtures of tight syncopations and pulsing polyrhythms present in these songs.Recorded & produced at Bear Creek studio in Woodinville, WA, This marks a shift in sound that will only lead to further exploration into new musical territory.

In The Red is proud to announce this brand new 7-inch EP from Cleveland, Ohio's Archie & the Bunkers. The band consists of teenage brothers Emmett (drums/vocals) and Cullen O'Conner (organ/vocals) who have been pounding out their stripped-down brand of crazed rock 'n' roll since 2014. Their live shows have to be seen to be believed. Anyone who has seen them live or is familiar with their previous releases on Smog Veil, Dirty Water and Norton knows these guys are the real deal and they aren't messing around.
In The Red HQ are of the firm belief that The Damned are one of the greatest rock n'roll bands of all time. It turns out Archie & the Bunkers share this feeling and have been known to cover the Damned frequently and have performed entire sets of their music. They even jammed with the band on their last US tour, having a better memory of how some of their early material went than the men who wrote it! Therefore ITR is happy that the band have agreed to cover some of their favorite Damned selections, doing

Push Pull, so named for the power struggles and co-dependency that goes on within any long-term relationship - including, but not only, marriage and a rock band - was produced by long-time pal (but first-time collaborator) Matt Wallace at his Studio Deluxe facility in the heart of the band's San Fernando Valley turf.

On June 8, Oakland, California's Howlin Rain return with The Alligator Bride, their fourth album of swampy, ragged, unapologetic rock 'n' roll. Led by Ethan Miller (co-founder of psych rockers Comets On Fire and Heron Oblivion), the band recorded the album with Eric King Riff' Bauer at the Mansion in San Francisco, direct to tape, in one or two takes. It's their first release on Silver Current Records, the artist-run label owned by Miller, and gleefully indebted to classic rock formations like the Grateful Dead's Europe '72 and Free's masterpiece of atmospheric, minimalist blues, 1969's Fire And Water. The guiding principle for The Alligator Bride was to create 'Neal Cassady Rock,'' says Miller. Which is to say, high energy, good-times adventure music, driving the hippie bus, shirtless and stoned, up for four days straight, and extremely fuzzy around the edges.' It's a fitting vision for the band: torn between eras, fuzzed out but full of soul, an epic perspective on what's come before and what lies ahead, woven into a cosmic tapestry of riffs, rhymes, and resonant frequencies.

Never before issued on vinyl, Silver Current presents Howlin Rain's selt-titled 2006 debut album, originally on CD only on Birdman Records! Formed in 2004 in San Francisco, the band features Ethan Miller (Comets On Fire, Heron Oblivion), John Moloney (shaman leader and percussionist for Boston's Sunburned Hand Of The Man) and Ian Gradek (bassist, iron worker, banjo-picker and world traveler). Howlin Rain came together with the intention of making a good, old-fashioned, free-wheeling rock album with a bared soul and a body that hangs joy, hysteria and darkness on the same rambling bones. They play unfiltered music in all its grit and all its glory, music to beat the steering wheel of your van to or sing along with while drinking whiskey in the bathtub with your dog on a Saturday night.

This LP - originally broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show - is taken from Iggy's concert at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland Ohio on 21st March 1977 (the night before two of the concerts at the same venue were used on TV Eye Live). It boasts much better sound quality than the RCA live album, since it was
recorded using the Rolling Stones' mobile studio. The material here is drawn almost exclusively from the Stooges' back catalogue, with only "Sister Midnight", "Funtime" and "Turn Blue" coming from the two Bowie-produced albums.

The long tail of krautrock in all its droney, repetitive permutations continues to be felt in modern music, some forty plus years after artists like Faust, Kraftwerk, and Can arrived in the world. It's what one does with these influences that matters, and no one is doing more with the raw materials of this sound than Møtrik. This quartet from Portland, Oregon—bassist/vocalist Erik Goltz, drummer Lee Ritter, guitarist Cord Amato and synth wizard Dave Fulton—connect up with the sounds of the past like an M.C. Escher mural: it follows the same patterns but takes them in much different directions with much more colorful and mind-altering results. Over The Past Decade, Albany, New York's State Champs Have Become A Major Player In The World Of Pop-punk, Helping Define The Shape Of The Genre For A New Generation Of Fans. And On June 15, Living Proof Will Push Pop-punk Forward.

Formed In 2010 By Vocalist Derek Discanio And Guitarist Tyler Szalkowski, The Pair Began Laying The Foundation Of State Champs In Garages And Basements Throughout Their Hometown. The Band's Lineup Would Shift A Bit, But Discanio And Szalkowski Were Always At The Helm, Crafting The Band's 2013 Debut, The Finer Things, Along With Guitarist Tony "rival" Diaz And Drummer Evan Ambrosio. They'd Add Bassist Ryan Scott Graham The Following Year And, In 2015, They'd Release Around The World And Back, A Record That Elevated State Champs To A Frontrunner In The Genre.

The Band's Third Album, Living Proof, Will Be Released June 15 On Pure Noise Records, And It's The Most Ambitious And Cohesive Work In The Band's Catalog. it Was Like, Let's Take As Many Swings At It, Try As Many New Things And Experiment, Until We Get To The Point Where We Could Start Searching Through It All And Then Find The Album,' Says Discanio Of The Writing Process. After Touring For Around The World And Back Wrapped, The Band Returned To Albany, Headed Back Into The Garage, And Started Writing Songs For What Would Become The Framework For Living Proof. Getting Back To Their Roots Paid Dividends, As The Band Had A New Batch Of Songs Ready, And Once They Linked Up With The Album's Producers, They Wrote Even More.

Swedish trio Svvamp's self-titled debut was a breath of fresh air — unpretentious and free, primordial homespun classic rock that landed in the Top 20 Albums of 2016 in the Doom Charts consortium of writers and radio. The most common remark being just how genuine and uncontrived it sounded, unlike most bands that posture and mimic the sounds of yesteryear.

So, it may be hard to grasp how fully realized the band sounds on Svvamp 2, while still sounding as laid back as their debut. Perhaps it can be partly attributed to Svvamp's jump from self-recording on a 4-channel cassette deck to self-recording on a comparatively expansive SIX-channel system. That's two whole more tracks to fill up, folks! The obvious comparison to the groundbreaking psychedelic albums of the late 60s, when artists began experimenting with studios moving from 4, to 8 to 16 tracks, is fitting here too.

On Svvamp 2 the sound is more raw in the sense that it's stripped,' vocalist/drummer Adam Johansson explains. So the music is more bare. We make sure all of the instruments are treated equally, they all have their place in a song. Obviously, with 6-tracks now available we've had a bit of fun with that.'

Svvamp is three friends — Johansson, Henrik Bjorklund and Erik Stahlgren, all of whom share lead vocal duties — drawn together for the sake of jamming and a love of rock, folk and blues. Their resulting heavy psych sound bears hints of Cream, Eric Bell-era Thin Lizzy, CCR and Crazy Horse.

Svvamp 2 opens with a lightly plucked electric guitar line that Clapton would be proud to claim his own, before quickly launching into the heavy riff anthem Queen', echoing the bare chested bravado of Grand Funk Railroad. Sunshine Street' is charmingly unapologetic garage pop reminiscent of Big Star. The Wheel' is a hook-loaded bluesy rocker, while How Sweet It Would Be' hearkens to the glazed zombie drive of Canned Heat's On The Road Again.' Elsewhere, Alligator' brings on a showstopping stomp of dueling guitars, syncopated drums and wailing, distorted vocal howls to close out the proceedings with fitting aplomb.

We definitely wanted to mix styles and genres, so the music stays interesting for the band, like the first record,' Johansson says. Our approach is still fairly straightforward and live. And, all of us sharing lead vocal duties solidifies that the band consists of three equal members.'
