Tone Dropout Records kick off the new year in emphatic style with a brand-new 6-track vinyl EP that stays true to the label’s unmistakable dancefloor-driven sound.

Packed with heavyweight grooves, acid lines, breaks, and bleeps, this release delivers six high-impact tracks designed for late-night systems and packed floors. The EP also marks an exciting moment for the label, welcoming two new artists into the Tone Dropout family while celebrating the return of long-standing contributors.

Joining the roster for the first time are KWAKE and Harry Light, both making a powerful debut on the label. Side A – The Head Side

Side A opens strong with DAWL and SWEEN at the helm, laying down a driving four-to-the-floor acid groover that would warm up any dancefloor with ease. It’s a statement opener — and a sign of much more to come from the duo throughout the year.

Next up, SkyWave Transmissions brings his trademark experience and finesse, delivering a tightly produced acid-bleep track that showcases depth, quality, and character. Following seamlessly is long-time collaborator XOTR, who rounds out the side with a pure slice of northern bleep excellence — unmistakably Sheffield in style and sound.

Side B

Side B introduces the first of the new Tone Dropout members, KWAKE. A long-time friend of the label, this marks his first official appearance, and he doesn’t disappoint. His track is a full-force breaks banger, capturing authentic rave energy and guaranteed to ignite the floor.

Next comes Harry Light, making an immediate impact with a pounding house-and-breaks hybrid. Impeccably produced and relentless in energy, the track lives up to its name perfectly — “POWER HOUSE.” Both newcomers arrive firing on all cylinders, delivering two massive dancefloor weapons back-to-back.

Closing out the EP, DAWL and SWEEN return with Tones Breaks 5, a three-minute breaks workout and the latest installment in the label’s breaks series. This track also serves as a respectful nod to one of their musical heroes, Frankie Bones, rounding off the release on a high.

"On a hot Ibizan summer the Rare Two fellas spent a period of 33 days on the island making tracks in a house garage with a couple of pieces of affordable gear and a whole lot of talent. We managed to create 33 tracks often burning them on CD to take to djs like Ricardo Villalobos at Amnesia and seeing the instant reaction of the crowd. We are a mega team of same mentality dudes who create from the heart breaking all rules and getting music done for a purpose. The Tripmastaz and Sneak Team is one to expect many great dance floor killers. As we call them Guttah Styles!

Recently I found these projects and since they were done on just a laptop and cheap small speakers, I gave them proper analog mixing and mastering.

All tracks remain exactly the same form and arrangement as they were originally done, including track Aww Lawd, that was featured on R. Villalobos BBC Radio 1 Pete Tongs mix back in 2018.

Mike Grinser at Mandmade Mastering did the lacquer cut and made it sound very crisp and loud a lot like it would've been cut in the 90s.

The classy 'Natural Born Killers' rides on firm kicks with loopy percussive details tightly coiled, ensuring you are forever on edge as the drums march on. 'Choose Your Pill' is a stripped-back and pulsing deep techno cut with deft synths that peel off the groove, before 'Untidy Echo' delivers a cavernous sound with sparse hits and low-end rumbles that place you in the centre of an underground cavern. 'Enfer ou Ciel' featuring D.E.S brings a sense of melancholy in the occasional string sounds and watery droplets that float over more frictionless, meditative beats - while the trio of digital bonus cuts brings moody subterranean rollers ranging
from snaking and dubby to more drum-led and eerie tones.

Next up on Bruno Schmidt’s Assemblies Of God; The eagerly anticipated follow up to one of the most impactful leftfield records of 2023, Bauzer Vep’s The Gurner. Alexander Folonari brings us Gut Und Günstig under his brand new Sabber Mund Alias. Previously appearing under Shampoo Douglas and La Decima Vittima on Quest’s La Nota Del Diablo imprint, Sabber Mund takes a very different form. This music could be described as “Post-everything”, combining elements of dance music, with a punk-meets-folklore education.. Everything from straight Bach-informed dancefloor killers, to medieval lullabies. Across the board, custom no-wave themes from the get go. Hot tip!

Yup, more Jungle, D 'n B and breakbeats on GAMM...yay!

The MIR guys from Stockholm have been spreading rapid beats and dark b-lines since 2006 and are well established on the D'n B/Jungle scene for their productions, DJ sets and club nights.

For their GAMM debut, we get an eclectic cocktail of dark basement sounds and high-speed rhythms.
Starting off with a dancehall/jungle ting (War Edit), continuing with a classic hip hop/jungle mash up (Passin' Me By Edit), a deep breakbeat / Detroit version of a classic Kenny Larkin jam (Q Edit), and finishing off the EP with another hip hop / d&b roller.

A true force in the scene, Richie had just dropped the now-classic “Rock Your World” in 1981. Signed to the iconic Salsoul Records, he was riding high: performing at legendary venues like Paradise Garage, Studio 54, Roseland, and Bond International, touring Europe, and recording tirelessly with top-tier vocalists and musicians in studios across the city.

With his projects The Jammers and Weeks & Co. storming the charts both in the U.S. and abroad, Richie was unstoppable. Fueled by a relentless creative drive, he spent countless hours in the studio—writing, arranging, and producing a massive catalog of dancefloor anthems, many of which never saw release. Until now.

Jerome Derradji and Past Due Records are proud to present Richie Weeks – The Love Magician Archives: Boogie & Post Disco. NYC 1980–1983 Vol. 3, the third installment from Richie’s personal archive. Spanning 1980 to 1983, this collection features eight electrifying, previously unreleased tracks from The Jammers and Weeks & Co., as well as the futuristic grooves of Kaviar and Hot Cargo. Rock for Light is the second full-length album by Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars. We're proud to present the original mix of the album, for the first time in decades, as the band originally intended. Most fans will be more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bass player Darryl Jenifer. In addition to new mixes, that version used an altered track order. This reissue marks the fourth release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing.

Bad Brains is the self-titled debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains. Recorded in 1981 and released on (then) cassette-only label ROIR on February 5, 1982, many fans refer to it as "The Yellow Tape" because of it's yellow packaging. Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band's first release of anything longer than a single. The release includes the original liner notes by Ira Kaplan of Yo La Tengo. This reissue marks the second release in the remaster campaign on the band's own Bad Brains Records imprint with Org Music. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering.

Celestial Echo (miche & Stu Clark) team up with Divine Disco’s Greg Belson to launch a brand-new 7-inch series spotlighting Detroit’s powerhouse gospel, soul and R&B label — HOB (House of Beauty). Founded in 1956 by Mrs. Carmen Murphy, HOB wasn't just a label — it was a beacon. From the basement of her beauty salon on Detroit’s West Side, she ran one of the most important Black-owned gospel imprints of the 20th century. At a time when both the music industry and the country were stacked against her, Mrs. Murphy built a sanctuary for soul — a Black woman-owned business and creative hub in volatile times.

This inaugural 7-inch kicks off with two in-demand killers:

Side A: Elder Ward & The Ward Singers – "It’ll All Be Over" A fast-paced gospel dancer with a monster groove, killer breaks and heart-wrenching vocal delivery — this one’s a guaranteed floor-filler and rarely surfaces for less than £250 on the collector circuit, if at all. Urgent, uplifting, and impossible to ignore.

Side B: Victory Travelers – "Power Lord" Another holy grail moment — deep, raw, and unshakeably soulful. Rare in its original form, often fetching close to £100, it’s a heavy dose of electrified gospel sure to hit home with fans of deep soul and spiritual funk alike. Fully licensed and remastered, this 7-inch comes housed in a custom Celestial Echo / Divine Disco series sleeve with a faithful reproduction of the HOB label.

Transpac delivers the fourteenth drop on Curtis Electronix presenting Infobahn LP, a seven-track odyssey that showcases their refined, perceptive approach to Electro. Throughout the record they blend elegance and precision through a carefully crafted sonic environment where every sound, frequency, and element serves a purpose. It effortlessly alternates between 4/4 dancefloor killers and beatless segments, creating a dynamic energy that balances weightlessness and density. Italian producer Gemil returns with Planet X on Deep Down Space Records, marking the label's second release. 'Dance Phobia' immediately grabs your attention with its serious bass groove while the energy builds. A mid-tempo minimalistic house track enriched with vocal samples that add a house appeal, while the track’s tension mounts through the break before cruising smoothly to its end. "Reaction" dives even deeper, presenting a creative, addictive rhythm track with a tech appeal. Swirling chords and airy, euphoric elements blend seamlessly over a classy 90s house feel, leading into a moody alien melody in the second half—perfect for late-night dancefloors and growing more impressive with every listen.

On Side-2, the title track 'Planet X' is an exciting and creative blend of sounds, even earning an approval nod from HAL 9000 in the mix. Italy is known for their wonderful history of ambient house. Kiss Klassics turn up the heat a few notches to bring you THE summer anthem of 2022, Edinburgh duo LF System flipped the Silk vocals wonderfully as does DJ Matman on the flip of this cheeky 45 with his edit of the original sample source both stone cold killers!

London's Lilas Records has been going from strength to strength following the recent sell out of Swoy’s Essence EP. This time they welcome German based Daniel Broeseck to Lilas who showcases two sides to his personality with a pair of straight up dance floor killers sitting comfortably alongside two hypnotic breakbeat groovers. The release has seen early support from the likes of Nu Zau, Cristi Cons, Miroloja and Techu to name just a few.

Conform Re-Touched Series has delivered other 5 gems to collect with the Vol.IV! The result is brilliant thanks to the contribution of great artists such as Radio Slave, Honey Dijon, Mark Broom, Adriana Lopez and Shlomi Aber.

When it comes to Radio Slave, no one can ever remain indifferent to the quality of Matt Edwards' production. Once again it has hit the mark by re-interpreting "Inside" by Gaetano Parisio in a masterly way. The track is a continuous crescendo but always well anchored to its original groove. The great British producer, Mark Broom, once again leaves no doubt about his ability to create real dace-floor killers. Seems that his edit was created to challenge the sound systems of all clubs around the world. It is the dream of all DJs to play a track of such impact during a party. His version remains faithful to the original but it has that broomish which makes it super catching.

Honey Dijon, an absolute star in the world techno firmament, makes her debut on Conform with her Re Rub interpretation of a classic like Dual Ep by C&G Southsystem, the project created by Gaetano Parisio and Marco Carola. Honey puts all of her Chicago background into this version. By adding vocal she manages perfectly to make two such different schools coexist, the Neapolitan one and the Chicago one. The result is simply sublime.

Likewise, it's a debut on the label also for Adriana Lopez absolutely respected throughout the techno scene for her extreme quality music. Her interpretation leaves no room for doubt that she doesn't like middle ways. Her remix is dark and hypnotic at the same time. Adriana gave her best and the delivery is just outstanding.

The grand finale takes place with the digital bonus track. Ben Sims "Carnival part one" re-edited by Shlomi Aber. This is definitely the icing on the cake! If you are a DJ you'll immediately desire to play this track as soon as possible. His edit it's just perfect leaving intact the original vibe of the English legend's track. Its tribal groove echoes the early 2000s sound. For those who love the genre this is unmissable.

Tom Flynn marks his first appearance on Exit Strategy, starting off with a strong package of four tracks. Each of them tends towards a slightly different side of his ecstatic and clean production style - making this a very coherent well balanced collection of killers.

Disconcerting, questing brilliance from Rabih Beaini: two sick, nervy techno killers (including an Ethio homage), stalking the corrosive perimeters of noise; and deep, long excerpts from his engrossing soundtrack to Dreyer's Vampyr, with contributions from the Upperground crew, and Sun Ra in its marrow, alternately driving and motorik, off-the-wall, lost in space.

Mutant, in collaboration with Hollywood Records and 20th century Studios, is proud to present the premiere physical media release of Benjamin Wallfisch's score to the first of two 2025 Predator films, the animated anthology PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS Benjamin Wallfisch had quite the task in scoring KILLER OF KILLERS.

Not only did he need to tackle one of the most iconic sci-fi titles in pop culture history, but he had to do so across multiple time periods, locations and genres. A Scandinavian arctic right of passage, a Japanese Feudal revenge plot, and a World War Two underdog dogfight - all bookended by an epic battle on the Yautja home planet where the far-reaching nature of the Predator finally reveals itself after 30 years of filmmaking.

All the while, Wallfisch nimbly navigates the spirit of each period, their cultural instrumentation, and the kineticism of each chapter, and the emotional stakes of each battle. It's a minor miracle of a score that we are honoured to celebrate.

Featuring original artwork by Oliver Barrett, featuring liner notes by the films director Dan Trachtenberg, and pressed on 140gm Red vinyl, this release is essential for fans of the series.

Sergeant ventures deeper into the chaos, occasionally emerging with something dangerously close to catchiness.

Symbols further explores the technique the band calls “dj-shadow-in-reverse”. Instead of digging for samples, they dig through themselves. Things are cut apart and glued back together: kraut drums, plunderphonics fragments, dance floor killers and dub chambers. This time, the wreckage has rhythm and the rhythm has an opinion. Ferre sings through the songs like he’s looking for an exit and having a great time not finding it. Somewhere in there, a flute appears: it sounds slightly worried about the bassline. But the band is more in charge of its plot than ever before. Sergeant finds bliss in losing it over and over again.

Im April 2026 bringt Eaves Wilder ihr heiß erwartetes Debütalbum ,Little Miss Sunshine" raus. Die Platte ist ein krasser Entwicklungssprung für die Singer-Songwriterin aus Nord-London, die 2020 mit 16 Jahren mit ihrem selbst aufgenommenen Lockdown-Release ,Won't You Be Happy" zum ersten Mal auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat. Eaves begann mit der Arbeit an ,Little Miss Sunshine" nach einer Phase des Nachdenkens, in der sie sich fragte, ob sie der Musik in ihrem Kopf letztlich gerecht werden könnte. Wer sich mit dem Album beschäftigt, entdeckt zehn Songs, die sich an den Zyklen der Natur orientieren, um die emotionalen Stimmungen zu erklären und zu feiern, die uns zu Menschen machen. ,Als ich am Boden war", erinnert sich Eaves, die an einer Stelle sogar lacht, als sie sich daran erinnert, wie sie beschloss, die Musik ganz aufzugeben, um in ein Kloster einzutreten: ,Ich wollte einfach nur unmenschlich, gefühllos und unbewegt sein. Für Mountain Sized bezog sie sich auf Lily Allens Single The Fear aus dem Jahr 2009 - ,weil da diese eine Frau ist, die ganz beiläufig all die schlimmsten Dinge über sich selbst aufzählt, Dinge, die man sich eigentlich nicht trauen würde zuzugeben". In Eaves' Song wird diese aufkommende Angst jedoch durch einen panoramischen Refrain ausgelöscht, in dem sie die Grenzen ihrer realen Welt durchbricht, um zu verkünden: ,But in my mind/But in my mind/I am taller than the highest mountain sides." In dem schmerzlich melodiösen ,The Great Plains" hinterfragt Eaves ihre frühesten Erinnerungen, in denen sie ihre ältere Schwester Dora vergötterte. ,Sie war so zurückhaltend und wie eine Meerjungfrau", erinnert sich Eaves, ,und ich wurde von meinen Emotionen beherrscht - und je mehr ich versuchte, das nicht zu sein, desto mehr wurde mir klar, dass ich niemals wie sie sein könnte." In dem Song findet Eaves eine Art Selbstakzeptanz, indem sie auf die Natur schaut, um zu erfahren, dass es okay ist, so zu sein, wie sie ist: "As I erupt into a blaze / It's ok the sky will do the same/Let no-one bat an eye when / Every year I'll hibernate till May / Because no-one blames the clouds for rain / So take me as I am, tears down my face." Recorded in 1981 and released on (then) cassette-only label ROIR on February 5, 1982, many fans refer to it as The Yellow Tape because of it's yellow packaging. Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band's first release of anything longer than a single. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. This Punk Note edition comes with alternate packaging artwork from designer John Yates (Stealworks). The artwork is a nod to Reid Miles and Francis Wolff, and their amazing work at the Blue Note label
