'I am OK', reads the title of the new album by the Berlin-based producer, DJ and label-owner Oliver Koletzki. The heading0's ambiguity is, of course, deliberate: there's a deeper meaning hidden behind the humorous facade that is Chrisse Kunst's hand-drawn cover, which depicts an unadorned thirteen-year-old Oliver sporting nerd glasses and a striped jumper: I am Oliver Koletzki, raw and authentic. Because musically, on his fifth studio album, Oliver Koletzki looks towards the unaffected freshness of back in the day, and thus, consciously returns to his roots. 'I am OK' - Oliver Koletzki says modestly. In 2014, after 26 years as a musician, he clearly achieved what he set out to do. And his fifth album serves as testimony. Hypothetically he could have a bit of a rest. The energy of each new track here does emphasise, however, that he won't retire any time soon: Oliver Koletzki is just getting started.

An amazingly fresh and versatile album, and in good old Uncanny Valley tradition, a highly collaborative affair that goes far beyond the deephouse description, making it very well fit for both home listening and dancefloors worldwide.

Groovy Acid tracks for some funky hip shaking dancefloor action.

Plagued by two years of failed business ventures and well-publicized proprietary conflicts, MYSTERIES OF THE MIND triumphantly emerges with a release that shatters all expectations of what critics have categorized as 'World Music.'

Dan Croll (born Daniel Francis Croll, 18 July 1990) is a British singer-songwriter born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. He moved to Liverpool when he was 18 to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). While at LIPA, he won the national Songwriter of the Year award from the Musicians Benevolent Fund and was one of eight students picked to have a one-to-one with LIPA founder Sir Paul McCartney. Dan is currently signed to Turn First Records.
Dan Croll signed to Turn First Records at the start of 2012. His debut single, "From Nowhere", was released worldwide on September 24, 2012 via Turn First / Racquet Records (Croll's own imprint) as a digital download and limited 7". "From Nowhere" spent 3 days at the top of the Hype Machine popular charts, was play listed in the UK on BBC 6 Music, XFM and Amazing Radio, and received spot plays on BBC Radio 1. Croll was named a Guardian New Band of the Day in November 2012 and described as "Paul Simon jamming with Prince.

New alias for Richard Gateaux (Aka Phoreski) dropping two essential jams for the Soft Rocks boys on their Kinfolk imprint. 'This Devil Can Dance' is a scary anthemic electronic dance monster from the left that will slay many a dance floor this year and has legend written all over it. Add to the mix the downtempo delight 'Lone Soldier Theme' that takes a different electronic route with it's echoes of 'Assault On Precinct 13' / 'Escape From New York' filmic vibe this makes for an essential package.

NM004-001Y, the first release on Neustadtmusik Yellow is brought into being with Koller's creative and playful tracks where beats collide from different styles and tumbling rhythms are combined with melancholic sounds. 'Jungle Goddess' on the A ventures down to the centre of the earth with its sub-100 BPM tempo. A constant and steady builder, Jungle Goddess weaves its way through deep, dark and seriously pitched-down house territory, being carried by off-kilter keys and seemingly random guitar notes throughout before a dreamy male vocal sparks up and takes things home.

Flip over for 'Get Your Bearings', where Closed Paradise brings things down with spaced out drums and soft pads amidst earthy tones that render the track next to perfect for those blissed-out sets that call for nothing more from an audience than sipping umbrella-boat drinks while watching an Adriatic sunset.

'What do the letters stand for Why the asterisk" you ask. The origin of the asterisk has something to do with donating dates of birth on family trees, from back in the medieval times. In music, an asterisk denotes when a sustain pedal should be lifted. NY - New York AK - Alaska AK as in AK-47 Is it something to do with the three stooges Nyak nyak nyak... It leaves the mind thirsty for answers; for clarity. In reality Andrew Scott, the man behind NY*AK; banged his computer keyboard in frustration one day - and out came NY*AK. If that's taken the shine off it a little, we're not worried. Listen to any of Andrews tracks and we guarantee you'll be drawn straight back in, but this time - deeper.

ollowing 2013's sparse, beautiful 'Another', a busy SXSW, and a vinyl reissue of their first two albums, 'Test & Recognise' represents the next chapter for Seekae. Bitter, belligerent and confessional, this track is punctuated by up-tempo 90s industrial beats generated by a vintage drum machine emulator. It will be released in conjunction with the announce of their third album 'The Worry', and pressed on a limited 12 with remixes from Sydney's Cassius Select, plus label mates Flume and Howls.

Our next Stil vor Talent 12 sounds like a mysterious, alien soundscape transmitted straight from outer space to the peak-time dance-floors of planet Earth. Edu Imbernon has already demonstrated a brilliant ear for pulsating house music on his remix for Niconé & Sascha Braemer's 'Dreamer'. Here, he once again teams up with fellow Spaniard Triumph, while SVT favourites Kellerkind and Niko Schwind are on remix duty. The title 'Mystery Inside' couldn't be more fitting to the meteorite shower the duo conjure up with the aid of vocalist Sutja Gutierrez on the A-side: sharp hi-hats lead straight into a moody bass-line that meets a beautifully rounded kick and percussion-workout. Things get otherworldly as synths start flying through the speakers, finally beaming you to another galaxy once Gutierrez' heavily spaced out vocals set in. On the flip, Kellerkind slows things down considerably and builds on the original's UFO-synths, while Niko Schwind cherry picks his favourite parts of 'Mystery Inside' and contextualises them within his own 80s synth motif and fat breakdown. Extraterrestrial warning: the Spaniards have landed!

Two years after his debut single he returns with a five track EP featuring 'I Wonder Why' and four other tracks. His previous work was recognised early by the Fader but instead of pumping out more releases, he took his time and the result is a great progression as a producer. Not only was the EP recorded at his home, different rooms were actually sampled in the process. All with an increased number of textured synths en better drumlines blending into an EP with a very organic sound.

Scandalo Music, the exquisite label from São Paulo (Brazil), is back with another 12" from the city most emblematic DJ, Carlos Capslock (aka Paulo Tessuto). Carlos Capslock has an eclectic style which has gone through various tastes and is also the name of one of the best parties in São Paulo right now. The party mottos start from socio-politic themes distorting them with extreme sarcasm. Visual performances, artistic interventions, eclectic DJ's and weird places all come together to make Capslock the most complete party in São Paulo, in which you will find the most Babel-ish public open to renewed Dionysian experiences. Carlos Capslock delivers his first 12" full of eastern creamy sounds and atmospheres. The narghile harmony and the xerazade curves reflect on the excited gypsy mourning of Mystery Nights. A spark flashes on the serpent eyes and a smile reveals its razor tongue. The moon phases pass by in the rhythm of the beat, every 4/4, bewitched. DaDa Attack, the circuit bending specialist producer, de-construct in fragments the eastern samples, distorting the bass, turning the track into a more robotic theme leaving the moorish spirit in the first level. Psilosamples gives a fresh sound with its remix, bringing jazzy dissonances remaining from the african experimentalism of 60's and 70's. Finally, Rotciv synthesisers throw us straight into a Egyptian retro-futurism with its roots in Detroit Techno.

French producer David K is ready to announce his debut album, 'Out of Range,' an off-the-radar mixture of romantic melodies on drugs, rocking beats à la parisienne, and sounds to turn you on, released on Tiefschwarz's ever reliable imprint, Souvenir. David K represents something that's all too rare in electronic music today: an artist who makes music first and club music second. For him, emotion is paramount, melody is important, the pop format has its perks and original material is always better than a sample. Late at night and early in the morning, he can be found tapping away on his keyboards and throwing together arrangements on the fly (a pianist by training, he can't bear to make music slouched over a mouse). His only goal is to make something that will keep himself dancing. His roots are in Paris, where he lived his entire life until 2011. He started DJing in the late 80s on a makeshift set of gear, complete with a radio and tape deck, but once he hit his first rave in '91 he went straight for the Technics 1200s. He was making a living as a teacher and graphic designer, but like some invisible cosmic force, the life of the full-time artist kept drawing him in. Always involved in creating, composing, and mixing, he began his production career with the Boogabaloo EP on Sismic in 2002, a small Parisian house label. Not long after that he fell in with some key figures in the Paris' underground club scene, such as Dan Ghenacia, who brought him into the Freak n' Chic stable. 'This album has been 10 years in the making. Well, almost.' he points out. 'I started to hold on to some of the tracks I was writing over the past decade or so.

6 months after we first ventured into vinyl territory we're back with a new EP. The follow up to Kastil's ''Dusty Edits'' is a sampler containing 4 tracks by 3 artists we are heavily supporting at the moment. The A1 is again by Basque county based 'Kastil'. She's back is a wonderful sample drenched house track containing soul touching vocals. Definitely one for the dancefloor. On the A2 we have ''Doctor Bills' by fellow Rotterdam native ''Ben La Desh'' this is actually his first release out of many to come. This track has been circulating the soundcloud for a few months and was played by OOFT! in one of his excellent podcasts. On the flip we find two tracks by Taiko Mochi name: ''Tomas Malo''. While the B1 ''Scenesters'' is a great more uptempo disco house track with quite an emotive break it's the B2 slomo track ''Shelter'' that has been stealing the show until now. If you're in to real slow and mesmerizing music this might just be the one for you.

Melbourne Deepcast return with a killer Various Artist EP featuring some of their 'Mates'.
Label boss Andy Hart teams up with new wonder kid Max Graef, Max Graef is one of a new generation of young producers emerging from Berlin at the moment. At age 19, his output is surprisingly mature and well rounded - juggling everything from house, hip-hop & garage to indefinable hybrids of in-between.
His own label 'Box Aus Holz' is fast becoming a hub for upcoming producers focussing on the raw sample based house & disco sound. Besides releasing on his own imprint, Max has close ties to Andy Hart's 'Melbourne Deepcast' with whom he has an ongoing collaboration.
On the flip we have tracks from new artist MK5, as with many artists, Micka's musical endeavours began with DJ'ing, a love for collecting records and crate digging.
Seven years on the turntables in the melbourne club circuit with a repertoire for all things house, disco and funk. A seasoned veteran of the almighty Favela Rock crew, he has been in the midst of arguably the best hip hop parties in town for close to a decade.
Music production being the natural progression, with two years of batting practice bashing away at mpc pads and dusty synthesisers, we see his first release out on MDC records, 'Moon Vexed'. A piece of work reminiscent of an established producer.
Rounding off the release is a track from The Tortoise who makes a welcome return to MD after releasing on imprints like 3rd Strike, Dirt Crew and Undertones from Detroit.

Purveyors of fine underground music, Joe's Bakery, present undiscovered balearic beats, cosmic curveballs and obscure oddities from around the world. The first two releases feature edits by a mysterious collective of music enthusiasts and record diggers by the name of Diavol. Music to be played by the pool or under the discoball

6th Borough Project are all set to release the follow up to their 2011 debut LP One Night In The Borough at the start of March. A hectic couple of years have been lived out by Graeme Clark and Craig Smith during the making of their Borough 2 Borough LP with Graeme continuing to play week in and week out as Revenge and setting up his new imprint Roar Groove whilst Craig has established the brilliant Fifty Fathoms Deep label. Studio time has been tight to say the least but that hasn't stopped the duo from pulling out all the stops and ensuring that this LP surpasses the already sky-high benchmark set by it's predecessor.

As a taster for the LP we present you with this sampler single containing three gems that'll whet your appetite and leave you gagging for more! Kicking off we have In Your Arms which sees the duo deliver some classic 6BP business with a party-starting house track laced with Philly strings and a heavy dose of soul. Next up things take a slightly darker direction on U Know U with this heads-down track incorporating a crisp, stripped-back beat joined by filtering pads and a distant vocal for company. Flip over for Read My Mind which brings some deep and brooding warehouse vibes to the table. This is the sound of 6th Borough Project doing techno with just a hint of 909 ride adding to the layers of bouncing stabs and off-kilter vocals.

I was in search of a lighter outside of the Salon Zur Wilden Renate, a bar in Berlin. It was quite late (or early, depending on how you look at it). I had been living in Germany for less than a week. I approached a man that had been moving some equipment nearby. He didn't smoke, he explained, but he produced a book of matches- almost out of thin air. He had excited, Romanesque features that threatened to overwhelm his face as he spoke. He introduced himself as Martin.I moved to Berlin after quitting my job as a journalist covering culture for an inconsequential (albeit progressive) Middle Eastern magazine. Days after I left the region, the first protests began in Tunisia. I visited Renate that week because Nicolas Jaar recommended it when we met in London around Christmas time. When I mentioned that I might move to Germany, he brought up Acid Pauli- which is how I first found out about his Johnny Cash interpretation, 'I See a Darkness,' and some of his other projects with The Notwist. A few nights later, I returned to Renate, observing from afar as Acid gently wrangled the dance floor. His set activated a space that was both free flowing and eclectic- the opposite of what I had expected (however ignorantly) to find in Berlin.I tracked Acid down after he finished playing and introduced myself properly this time. Eventually, he explained that he had just completed an album for Clown & Sunset. He called it Mst. After pleading with him to let me listen, he handed over a miniature mirror that doubled as a USB drive.It was an appropriate medium for an album that acts reflexively. Each of the nine tracks coaxes your attention, and then plays with it like the hall of mirrors in a funhouse. Songs accelerate or breakdown without warning, before leaping right back into the rhythm

Working across a variety of media John Lemke explores all things sonic through live performance, sound design and his work as a documentary film composer. The Walizka EP is his latest solo release on Denovali Records. Three items in a suitcase, a clarinet, a looper and a microphone - is how it all started. A free improvisation with friend & collaborator Lukasz Bernacki (on clarinet) sparked John's desire to bring his compositional and production approach back down to the most basic elements. Creating simple, yet distinctive rhythms only through tapping contact microphones run into noisy guitar amps became the base for the EP's three tracks, consequently inspiring its live, lo-fi feel. Written and recorded between John's native Berlin and his adopted home of Glasgow, Walizka (Polish for 'suitcase') somehow absorbs the defining atmospheres of both cities in its core. Previously released digitally as a teaser for John's debut album, the Walizka EP actually presents newer material, progressing the electro-acoustic nature of 'People Do' towards more dub drenched territories. Refining John's blend of prepared piano and field recordings with hand crafted beats and swampy bass lines, this deeply moody and danceable release bends genres with refreshing ease. The EP is furthermore enhanced by a second half of remixes by fellow Denovali artists Piano Interrupted, SaffronKeira and Petrels and the ever elusive Everyday Dust. Far from conventional remixes, these pieces fall more in the category of re-imaginations, complementing the EP's first, more rhythm anchored half with a coherent ambient counterpart. CD: digipak. Right in time for Luises third Birthday, Munichs incarnation of volt and watt, namely Guenther Lause, comes along with a very special present. The Wakema EP is a three-track-voyage from the outer spaces of universe back to the very inner circuits of conscience. Starting with Ruka (A), an antsy techno piece, Guenther seduces to enter his spaceship. Soon after, hiding between space and time, Loose Your (B1) invites to take a bummel on planet Ephraim located far outside where human awareness turns into a flock of silver bambis. Finally, slowing-down Wakema (B2) brings us ashore cheerfully.
