Does anyone remember Le Dust Sucker This Berlin - Basel based duo that make hearts leap for joy with their releases back in the noughties that includes tracks like "Mandate my ass", "Love me" or "Meanboy" to name only a few.

This duo always have been different from other musicians in the Techno & House business and they still are to the present day.

After their second album in 2007 it became a little quiet and the only sign of life has been a Compilation contribution in 2012.

Luckily it's 2015 and Le Dust Sucker are back with a vital and varied 4 track release that we are proud of to present.

It starts with the extremely cheerful and groovy "Dengue" that feels like having the perfect day with your best friend on the dancefloor of bliss. A subtle masterpiece that sticks to your serotonin gland for quiet a while.

"Desire" is a track that will work on the dancefloor too although it refuses any categorisation. "Electronic child-choral Synthie Dance" is nothing more than a helpless try to clothe exraordinary music in profan words.

By reaching the flipside the speed slows down and brute beats gain the mastery. But under the rough surface of "Great" there is a sympathetic heart. Yin and Yang in slow-motion for the dull-witted.

At the end you might have the feeling that flared pants and weird patterned wallpapers come back into fashion but we can calm you down, it's just the compelling 70's flare of "Crave". Play it to your parents  and share the passion. Le Dust Sucker is family friendly. Awesome, isn't it

Here are two pieces by NAUM GABO (Jonnie Wilkes and James Savage) which we used to slow down in many sets and we still do. The speed change from 45 to 33rpm transformed them into new tracks, pulled them over from Glasgow to Cologne, placed them in a different genre, converted the intended scheme into
an acquired effect - set a model into a world. !We hereby materialise this practice and its theory by re-releasing the tracks. Pressed on 45rpm, they've now physically become new compositions. They can't be played at the original speed anymore, but only even slower still. Now it's your turn.

Daniel Andreasson, a brilliant Swedish producer, previous released on Tabernacle, Skudge, Zodiac 44 to mention some. His release on borft shows a Dirty lowtech techno that really works on the floor. This is a limited edition of 300 copies.

Taken from his album L'Aventura, Sebastien Tellier is gearing up to release a remix EP for 'Aller Vers Le Soleil ' on December 10th, with contributions coming from Tom Furse (The Horrors) and Hercules & Love affair. The Ep includes Ricky l'adolescent single with remixes by Principle of Geometry and Walter. Have a look at the artwork, from Valentine Reinhardt.

Superb new EP from Copenhagen's acclaimed Music For Dreams imprint with the usually chilled Balearic label heading again into housier territory. First up is a hot collaboration from Ibiza's legendary DJ Pippi and label head Kenneth Bager. Fully road tested in the clubs of the White Isle this summer, 'La Serenata' is a surefire party starter with a hypnotic synthline, melodic bass and live accordion melding in an irresistible house groove. Next is HubbabubbaKlubb's Olefunken with his house remix of 'Stuck In A Lie', a track taken from Bager's forthcoming LP 'Follow The Beat'. This deep soulful rework is layered with lush rhythms and beautiful keys topped with the unmistakeable vocals of Storm Queen's Damon C. Scott. Flip over for 'Factor 30' from Bjarno, a Danish DJ/producer who as part of Djuma Sound System has had success on Get Physical, Noir, Soundz, Neon and Rebirth. This new cut clearly demonstrates his trademark warm organic deep techy sound - slow-burning bass-heavy house that builds and builds on an infectious flamenco guitar riff with just enough variations to keep you locked in, a great example of 'Slouse', the slow house sound being championed by the likes of Rainer Truby and Acid Pauli. Last but not least is Danish composer Troels Hammer with 'Cold Hawaii', a gorgeous lo-fi track with smooth keys and an achingly heartfelt mouth organ - perfect sunset material.

WALLS return with their third and final studio album 'Urals'

'Urals' is the closing part of a three album cycle that began with their self titled debut in 2010, and continued in 2011 with 'Coracle'

This album is an accumalation of four years of studio exploration, inverting their signature sound into a new, more intense dimension, seeing the duo once again exploring futuristic vistas with their corruscating synth lines, spiralling guitar figures and howling distortion/noise.

Informed by the creation/curation of their burgeoning Ecstatic Recordings imprint that has seen them release music by kindred spirits such as Pye Corner Audio, Axel Wilner (The Field) and L/F/D/M (amongst others) as well as their own individual explorations (Natalizia's caustic minimal synth work outs as NOT WAVING, and Willis's lurid, ritualistic techno as PRIMITIVE WORLD) 'Urals' pushes the envelope a long way from the template they set out with on tracks such as 'Burnt Sienna' or 'Hang Four'

From the stumbling off-kilter groove of the title track, to the probing kosmische pulses of 'Altai' to the intense, ear-shredding acid of 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love, to the sublime synthscape paen 'Radiance', its clear that Willis and Natalizia are taking leave of the WALLS project at the top of their game.

All their music is composed and recorded on the grand piano. Erol plays the keys, while Lukas creates the beat by using small self-made and programmed hammers that hit the grand piano. He captures these sounds on the computer, then manipulates and loops them.
With this setup they create highly analogue cinematic sound-scapes and tracks made for the dancefloor. Grandbrothers track 'Ezra Was Right' has become a part of Gilles Peterson's recent DJ sets and his radio show 'Worldwide' on BBC. Peterson also nominated the song for his 'track of the year 2013' award. While 'Ezra Was Right' is more downbeat, 'Notbrause' is highly suitable to be mixed straight into a proper house set. The EP comes with an 'Ezra Was Right' remix by the edit-master Greg Wilson and his partner Derek Kaye.
Additional remixes were contributed by Berlin's finest Kim Brown and Glasgow underground legend JD Twitch from Optimo.

In our corner of leftfield dance music, there are not many of our heroes that we haven't had the pleasure of hosting on Circus Company. From the early days of Ark and Akufen to Robag Wruhme, Deetron and Franck Roger, we are privileged to have welcomed some genuine legends onto our label, and now we are honoured to add another all-time great to the list; SoulPhiction. Michel Baumann has long been a steadfast measure of everything 4/4 electronic music should be, both as SoulPhiction and Jackmate and as a curator of Philpot Records. Coming up from the same hip hop roots that inspired Circus Co. in the beginning, he channels a sample-fuelled, jazz-inflected sound that would buckle under the weight of the soul contained within were it not for the strength and presence of his rhythm section. With the pair of cuts he shares with us, all aspects of his lifetime's service are represented in fine style. The Aside swinger 'Glitz' comes rocking in on the kind of kinky groove that tickles our limbs just right, taking time for the beat to settle before unfurling a sumptuous funk lick and a bittersweet vocal hook that tugs at the hips and the heart strings. Meanwhile on the flip 'Jinx' provides a futuristic acid treatment, laying out a rigid drum machine mantra and bubbling 303 as a backbone. Meanwhile starlit techno synths dart around the mix with a highly-evolved purpose that eschews any concerns about throwback house music - this is strictly the sound of tomorrow, as techno was always meant to be.

As ever, we're dealing with a combination of straight up, raw machine funk, built for strobe-lit, sweaty walled basements and warehouses sitting alongside more emotive pieces. Familiar themes indeed, but pulled off with impeccable attention to space and sonics.

If vocals of '90s acts like Bjork and Massive Attack, to the choral of female crooners that came out of Scandinavia in the 2000s hit a sweet spot, than the voice of Gry Bagoien will be a welcomed sound. Here for Scissors & Thread, with the help of Francis Harris and Jordan Lieb (aka Black Light Smoke), the Danish singer debuts on the American label under her own name (rather than using her known Gry alias). She delivers a four-track EP of smokey, abstract house music and throughout Phantom power Bagoien's voice sounds as though it's being projected through an oversized telephone speaker, either in a jazz club next to Miles Davis, a studio full of deep Efdemin arrangements, in the wilderness at a Swedish festival or lost in a cosmos of reverb and delay with Fever Ray.

I woke up from a dream, I dreamt of my Mother. I haven't seen her for a while. The dream is the only place I could see her, since she left this world. I always believed that she went to another universe, and often she came to see me. We would do something fun together. This time, we were picking coconuts from a big tree. The coconuts rather looked like pine tree cones. But they were big and green and there was fresh, juicy coconut flesh inside. We were using a lengthy stick, knocking on the fruits. And then they fall, one by one, like a dance... This is the story, the falling coconuts dance from another universe. 

Continuing his ear-tingling strike of releases, Nuno dos Santos is putting Sigward on the stage for the fourth instalment of Something Happening Somewhere. With remixes from Simon Garcia and Scott Fraser based on two originals, the dark has been encapsulated on a record. Melancholic, subdued, tranquillised but packed with energy, there's something for every dancefloor out there, even if you happen to be a six-fingered DJ. 

INIT is the musical incarnation of Rhein-Main based duo Nadia D'Alò and Benedikt Frey. Albeit heavy use of analogue synthesis and drum-machines, INIT rethinks it's genre's sonic approach, unfolding a unique and organic, yet alienating sound, somewhere in mysterious mids of acid, techno, ambient and kraut-rock. The result is a captivating sonic universe that reminds us of a more twisted, darker and techno take on the noir electro-pop sound from bands such as Chromatics or Glass Candy.

Their first EP for Hivern is comprised 'Talking About Talking' and 'Blackbird'. Both tracks are excellent doorways to their haunting vision. A sound full of contrasts, in which stinging textures create warm atmospheres, eerie vocals become captivating and tension is always sensual. The release also includes three dazzling remixes by C.P.I., Willie Burns and Cliff Lothar, each them giving new perspectives to the tracks without losing its original spirit. C.P.I. transform Talking About Talking into an acidic techno slow burner, reinforcing the rhythmic patterns and extending the sequences and vocals to give them an almost drone-like quality. Willie Burns gives Blackbird a candid twist by adding dreamy arpeggios, haze swishes and high-pitched vocals. In contrast, Cliff Lothar takes the same track towards much muddier realms by adding abrasive synths and pummelling drum-machines.

The 12' comes wrapped in artwork by german designer Michael Satter.

LBL is a new Label Project brought to you by Man Power (Hivern Discs, Correspondant) and Peter Wilson (Join Our Club, People Get Real).
With the simple ethos that all of the the music released has to be something that makes the co-owners / curators want to dance, the planned releases display a wide range of styles, tempos and textures, provided by a mixture of new talent and established artists.

For their second release, LBL present another Various Artist EP featuring the Talents of Ste Spandex (Red Laser Disco, Wet Play), ASOK (MOS Deep, Scenery), Causa (Tusk Wax) and Colours in Waves (20/20 Vision).

Cutting his teeth at Oddball Manchester musical institutions Red Laser Disco and Wet Play, has lead Ste Spandex to embrace a wealth of sounds reflecting Techno, West Coast Funk, Chicago House and Electro Boogie.
"OH" see's Ste showcasing his darker side, with a relentless chugging and crunchy beat that gives way to driving close which belies the track's relatively low tempo. Never one to shy away from his oddball 80's leanings, the entire track was recorded through tape... VHS Tape... to complete its unique lo fi feel.

ASOK is the man behind Scenery Records. Since starting the project in the last couple of years his music has been released on labels including MOS Deep, Mule Musiq, Photic Fields and London Housing Trust. These endorsements alone should be a sure sign of the type of quality House he releases, and we're pleased to say we believe that his track "Grid Runner" is representative of some of his finest work, showcasing a classical yet off kilter approach which breathes some much needed excitement in to the tropes of machine made House Music.

Causa is the alias of Joe Lucas. A former record shop owner, with the necessary wealth of influences that the role entails. Joe has been quietly making music for many years but now labels are beginning to pick up on the artists prolific output of music. "Seven" is a dark and druggy slab of deepness. Techno on 33rpm, but with enough drive and hypnotic atmosphere to keep the attention and move the feet.

The final track on this release comes from relative new comer, Colours in Waves. His track, Conservation of Momentum is quite hard to pin down, being equal parts Techno, House and dare we say Trance (the good Trance) and Prog (the good Prog). It also manages to veer between a range of emotions, which lends the track some hefty pathos that make it potential anthem material.
Frankly speaking, the track is huge, but never overblown, which we think is one of the most delicate balancing acts possible, and which makes us very very excited at the prospect of further tunes from the artist.

As with all LBL releases, these tracks will be released digitally, as well as on a limited vinyl run of 300 copies.

Nicolas Jaar has shared a new track from Chicago ghetto house/juke veteran DJ Slugo. It's called 'Ghetto", and it was produced by Jaar. That's it above via Other People. According to Jaar, it was made 'in light of recent events".

We always treat family affairs with greatest care. You just don't know where this all ends ....most likely in shaking your head in disbelief.
Yet, In the case of siblings Lysann and Gunnar Zander we have thrown all doubts overboard. By no means in at the deep end given that both of them have been making music together their whole lives: acoustic, electronic, in the depths of soul and jazz, or in the wide world of the dance floor.
Stereofysh are interplay and compromise, counter pole and unity; creative duo because they also make music independently.
Their live performance allows the audience to become part of their family affairs. Lysann connects occurrences on- and off-stage without artificial distance, playful in the expression of their music. Gunnar, initially in the background, works the clickety-clacks until—in the course of their show and in mutual connection with his sister—he too comes to the fore and gets in close touch with the audience. This is how listening, watching, and dancing becomes the most fun.
With their debut EP, Stereofysh offer a piece of music that sounds like a mixture of house, dub, jazz, and pop may sound: beautiful and different, familiar and original at the same time. Not for nothing did jazz-pianist-legend Brad Mehldau give his personal consent to Stereofysh sampling his music (- Mehlgrau').

A lot of big names have done remixes for this bomb, e.g. Jacuzzi Boys (Cecille, Off Recordings), Loko (Great Stuff Recordings) and Miyagi (Rennbahn Records, Der Turnbeutel).

It is the essence of a music lover that swims in an ocean of sound since decades. Already in 1969 the Italian started spinning vinyl at the dawning of Djing - a time where he had no model to refer to and no mixing gear or listening device that helped him to find his very own way of spinning hot black wax.

While listening to the American djs Bob Day and Tom Sison at the legendary club Baia Degli Angeli in the early 1970ees. he understood what mixing means. Later he took over a residency at the so-called Italian "Studio 54" at the Adriatic cost and set its dancefloor on fire in order to sharpen his dj skills for a bigger mission to come.

When he changed the location 1979 and started a residency at the even

more legendary club Cosmic at Lake Laga, a place where avant-garde design and music should melt together to one big aesthetic blow, Baldelli started to free wheel and integrated a lot of Afro in his sets.

During his long spanning residency at Cosmic all music styles came together - from funky disco to electronic, reggae, fusion, rock, funk, Brasil or jazz. Baldelli wasn't afraid in fusing them and his sets start to be famous for their eclectic meltdowns ranging from Ravel's Bolero overlapping with a track by Africa Djola or an experimental piece by Steve Reich mixed together with a Malinke chant from New Guinea.

His experimental mixing style finally brought him stardom even thought he combined an extremely diverse range of genres, from European electronica and synth pop to African folk, Indian melodies, batucada, Kraftwerk, Fela Kuti and the German electronic sounds of SKY records - all often played at improper speed and mixed with effects and drum machines.

His worldly hypnotic sets that brought together the music of artists such as Killing Joke, The Incredible Bongo Band, Zaza, Chris And Cosey, Antena, Azymuth, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Yellowman finally fathered the cosmic sound - a highly influential musical movement that set itself

apart from the Italo disco scene.

Since then Baldelli's record bag stayed eclectic and he still plays scintillating sets all over the world.

His vinyl collection marks over 65.000 records and the essence of it paired with his long lasting dj experience can be felt in all his musical productions right up to his latest 12inch "Cosmic Drag" from last year.

It functioned as a foretaste for an album that now sees the light of the day under the same name.

The longplayer contains of all four 12inch tracks plus eight more stimulating hypnotic tunes that have nothing in common with trends. Instead they create their very own ones. They all spread deepness with diversified melodies, chords and rhythms. You can feel Baldelli's musical root Afro in tracks like "Chop and Roll". You can feel electro vibes as well as techno driven grooves. Sometimes the funk hits you hard while in the next moment you get blown away by futuristic soundscapes.

What all arrangements have in common is a cosmic dust that melts playful with highflying synth lines and outer space tones. A truly weird mesmerising record that stays appealing while experimenting profoundly. It has been produced within six month and it is based on Baldelli's very own musical ideas that he translated with a keyboardist into music.

"Most of my ideas emerge while travelling by train, driving my car to a club where I will perform and foremost when I devote myself to listen to my large vinyl collection" he explains about the inspiration for "Cosmic Drag".

A statement that explains why his brand new tracks often built a bridge between careless funky seventies vibes, offish eighties coolness and the freedom of the nineties rave culture while landing fresh and unafraid in the present. The title of his album is both program and message for music that carries you away like a steam train into spheres where you forget yourself between irresistible rhythms and melodies. the sophomore full-length from the Swiss duo Larytta, is a galvanizing synthesis of essential grooves and effervescent melodies. It took years to finish the record! Christian Pahud and Guy Meldem spent this time carefully calibrating their songwriting to achieve what could be called the golden mean, i.e. the perfect balance between a radio friendly sound and club functionality. The result is a collection of songs that are instantly accessible, yet wholly unpredictable. They feel familiar because they were crafted by seasoned musicians who, over the years, have mastered the science of fundamental swing and melody. Fresh from inaugurating his new Wildheart imprint with a killer collaboration with Tony Allen, cult Motor City producer Theo Parrish (Sound Signature / 3 Chairs) maintains the languorous, dreamy vibe of Mala's original but opens out the groove, allowing the South Londoner's warm sub-bass to flex its muscle. The bass weight is tempered by deep, mantric keys; the soft choral vocals of Sexto Sentido; and Dreiser's spiritual incantations. A devotee of Jamaican sound system culture, Mala led from the front as the first waves of so-called 'dubstep' filtered out from Croydon's Big Apple Records, battering bassbins across South London in 2002/03 alongside the likes of Skream, Benga, Coki and Loefah. Fiercely independent, he co-founded the label and legendary club night DMZ (with Coki and Loefah) and has produced some of the scene's most vital and acclaimed tracks as Digital Mystikz. He also established his own imprint - Deep Medi Musik - in 2006 as an outlet for his own sonic experimentations alongside those of his favourite producers. Mala is universally respected as an innovator and leader not only within the global bass movement but also within the broader electronic realm.

Rothmans are back with their 3rd release of 2014 and back in the squad is Brooklyn beat master Aimes. You might remember his substitiute appereance on Rothmans 2 alongside Fairplay & Strunz. The release plays homage to informous French defender Marius Tresor who hard nosed defending earned him a place in Pele's top 100 players of all time. He also made waves off the field with a brief singing carear but we will leave you to research that yourself!!. Back to the release and we find Aimes following on from where Ste Spandex left off with an up tempo trancy, acid belter 'Tunnel Down' . A year in the making, Queen & Disco's "The Royalty of Funk" has finally landed. The project was handled with TLC from the get-go and the result has been worth the wait.
The Derry natives have put their souls into the record and it has come out the other end smothered head-to-toe in everything that Q&D stands for. A collectable 12" Vinyl which looks the part, but more importantly will do the business on the dance floor.


The 4 track EP boasts tracks from 2 of Q&D's biggest influences in Luca Trevisi, (better known as his behind the wheels alias LTJ ) and fellow Irish men Get Down Edits, as well as a track from the Q&D boys and Q&D resident Alan Mooney.


Track 1, "KOFI" from Alan Mooney's Edits is a Beatdown masterpiece. A sample ripped from a dusty old record, bent and moulded in the digital realm for it to be put back on wax and it doesn't stop giving. As far as introductions go, this one is a bit special. Rounding off the A-Side LTJ comes in, showcasing his enviable talents to endlessly produce mesmeric and distinctive tracks. "Don't You Do It" is a driving groover, heavy on sassy vocals and a hypnotic bassline.


The B-Side is a sexed-up affair, immediately upping the tempo are the Get Down Edit boyos with the aptly named "Dirty". There's almost too much good in this track to start singling out individual aspects, from harmonica solos, killer vocals, straight up funk guitar, and a heavy helping of brass, this track's got it all.
Closing proceedings we have the Q&D boys first foray into the production scene with "Ghetto Life". This one is all about the brass, a real party number with an infectious groove that keeps the head and feet moving for the duration.

After a successful debut release with Untitled Gear, Croatian label continues their journey through fields and forests. Still exploring the Russian Federation, only this time they hired Udacha's honcho and main protagonist A5. Record kicks off with 'Fantasy'. A dreamy kalimba piece which eventually evolves into a deep house track and could be described as a soundtrack from your latest dream while 'Raw Abstractionism' doesn't disappoint it's name. On the flip side we are introduced to the afro banger 'Torri Wowo' which feels almost like driving through safari on a truck. 'Acoustic Cut' calms things down and brings us to an end with a clear message.

The Parisian label Flyance Records newly set up by Janeret, Ka One & St-Sene comes back with their second releases "Cycles Vol.2".
As the first one, Cycles vol.2 is a various with 4 tracks focus on the deeper side of house and techno.

The name MONDO has its roots in 'MONDO MOVIES", an italian movie genre born in the 60's. Mondo movies are characterized by documentary-like content that addresses several topics from around the world ("mondo"). The Mondo label has the goal to produce music that is descriptive of concepts, images and environments. Mondo is inspired by library music, a genre frequently used as theme or background music in radio, film and television in that very same period. Production music libraries typically offer a broad range of musical styles and genres describing everything ranging from deserts to war and sports. Library music composers and session performers had no constraint at all. They typically work anonymously, have rarely become known outside their professional circle and they have produced what probably is the most creative music catalogue ever. The Mondo productions start with four releases dedicated to seascapes; scenarios range from sea fauna to poaching, from natural parks to sea dunes. Good listening!

Part 4 in the "ACID TEST" series from ABSURD RECORDINGS drops from Berlin's HOLGER ZILSKE. "A pure analog jam using just a 303, 101 and a 808" its a slow pulsing bass heavy acid work out. Comes with remixes from JOHN TEJADA

Inspired by a journey of a man, who is not afraid to leave everything behind and travel far beyond the stars, Vakula sets off for the exploration on new sound magnitudes. Written by David Lindsay in 1920, a story of a fearless traveler who is exposed to sublime energies and unknown spheres concurs with Vakula's perception of reality and his personal voyage to unknown dimensions. Claimed to be a soundtrack to A Voyage To Arcturus, the album is an attempt to expend beyond conventions of the modern house music and dedication to daring ventures.

Italian label 'Fortezza Records' is realising its newest piece. Four great tracks from four DJs:
Èf - Lily Song: Infused with a sensual background voice and a powerful deep bass line, the track creates an intense atmosphere and emotional vibrations.
Manuel di Martino - Keep in Touch: A 'killer track' with a sound deeply rooted in Detroit.
Federico Grazzini - One Step to Mars: If you don't know how to go to the red planet, just listen to this track: it is the direct connection between the heart and mars. The sound is high and it continues to grow. The beats are certainly groovy, strong and powerful.
Alex Dimou - Point88: A 'mid-tempo' track reminiscent of the 'late night' sounds of the 90's. Still true to a bass line and groovy sound known from previous releases, Point88 does not fail to surprise: a main passage, walking far on boundless horizons.

Sister label to Wild Oats offers a fresh take on the soulful side. Reverse board sleeve w/ subtle printed interior.

Dogmatik records deliver the goods once again with Maya Jane Coles 'Watcher' getting the remix treatment from Burnski and Vakula.

How To Be" EP is brought by Izhevsk based band, Cetranger. The band's name is a combination of french «c'etrange» and english «stranger». Two deep and emotional songs accompanied by two great remixes. Perfect for understanding yourself and strangers around better, or just some good night drive. The band members themselves call this music "a cinematic electronics", a motion picture about people and their feelings told in sounds. The opening track sets the scene. Cetranger sound is freezed in the air somewhere over the North Sea, between Britain and Nordic Countries. The unique vocal is travelling by these foggy landscapes build up of the piano harmonies. The remix by D-pulse turns original version into a laid-back dub version with a bit of a psychedelia, where electrified kraut-rock drumline is mingled with mellow funk elements. The second track by Cetranger, "Spear-words", shows the true with Cetranger's style and some undeniable potential in slowed-down rhythms. "Spear-words" makes your subwoofer sing along with the track's hypnotic gritty low-end bass sequence. Alex Neivel's remix gives a track some classy well treated deep house spin. Perfect building block for a late-night set.

After a short time out Carry On is back with a new vinyl release by Berlin based producer J.E.E.P. - also known as Jules Etienne. The EP is Jules second solo effort under his new J.E.E.P. moniker. The charismatic original tracks Answering Machine and Pager are backed up with club friendly reinterpretations of the title track done by the two befriended Berlin sound magicians Quarion and Iron Curtis. Quite rightly labelled one of Berlin's best kept musical secrets, Jules is an ambitious multi-instrumentalist, singer and a composer. Unable to settle down into a music genre he is part of numerous enthusiastic projects ranging from folky pop to disco and house. For his most recent releases he teamed up with people like Daniel Wang, Massimiliano Pagliari (Egyptian Nipples) and Quarion (The Hints).

IIB's latest release is an EP from The clandestino crew. First track is a slo mo cosmic melodic acid dub. A beautiful early evening trip. This is remixed by the Beat Broker who adds a few sublime uplifting west coast sprinkles. The first track on the B side is a solid disco tinged house beauty with synth stabs subtle acid undertones claps and a great sample. The final track is Beyond the Sun. A mellow eastern tinged sundowner featuring another great sample. This EP really captures the original IIB sound and philosophy. A real gem.

Robert Hood knüpft mit "Motor/Nighttime World Vol.3" an die beiden Vorgängerausgaben 1995 auf Cheap (Vol.1) und 2000 auf M-Plant (Vol.2) an. A Side is curated by Ptaki, a mysterious duo hailing from Warsaw. Ptaki (which means birds in Polish) fly high and want to keep their true identity under the radar.
Nevertheless, they serve two amazing cuts here, both based on obscure Polish jazzfunk. - Krystyna' is the choice cut, with its infectious vocal hook and irresistible groove. - Marek' is a piece of wonderful Balearic slow house with rich rhythm and crazy synth action in the middle.

B Side comes from Maciek Sienkiewicz, one of the finest purveyors of Balearic grooves in Poland.
Two tracks served here wouldn't sound out of place in Alfredo's set. - Song For Mohindar' is the lead track, with its ethereal new-age atmospherics and exotic instrumentation. - Syntetyczna Kobieta Lux' is an electronic burner that you may (or may not) know from last year's TVPC Beats In Space show.
