After becoming an iconic figure at Electric Minds club events in recent years Heidelberg's Move D is heading in the same direction release-wise as he gears up for his second consecutive release on the label arm of the club night. sample from Rebecca Sawyer adds an otherworldly sense of longing that echoes through the soul of the release. Silhouetted appearsmore conventional and dance-floor friendly next to Shards, but under the surface is something unique and strangely exotic. From a festival to a feature to friendship, from techno to electronica to a band. In this manner towards twitter compatibility, one may describe eating snow's previous path, which has really just begun for Douglas Greed and Mooryc, with only few characters. The two of them met in 2010 at a festival in Poland, only shortly afterwards the joint tracks - Pain and - Morning Gloria developed, which can be listened to on Douglas Greed's debut album - KRL . Chillwave never died. It just made some new friends. "Track Your Mind" the first track on the Yeehai EP, from the laconic Jack Chosef opens with a manipulated vocal sample that could intro an experimental club track à la Night Slugs or a towering Kanyeeseque hip-hop construction. Instead, in drops the half-tempo bass kicks and portentous synths favored by meticulous 80s revivalists, the sorts that dream of a neon video-game Miami or are aficionados of Italian giallo soundtracks and John Carpenter's self-penned scores. But "Track Your Mind" could also be the sound of, for example, Pye Corner Audio's alternate history technological fantasies.

Sleeper Cell is the new collaboration between Earthen Sea and Lovers Rock label head Ital. Recorded over three days and nights in a dark NY winter, 'Quality of Life' reflects a declining America in a winter of its own. Corroded dub atmospheres, haunting melodies, subdued flashes of tenderness and occasional searing noise swim together like murky oil in a puddle of grimy water on the side of the road. Opening with the entrancing 'Initiate,' Sleeper Cell welcome the listener into their world, where menacing whispers dance and echo around synth swells and a poignant lead melody. From there, the duo journey through a crumbling and eerily spacious sound world.

Intimate Friends brings you Roman Rauch straight from the home of the Wiener Schnitzel with three twisted rolling Tracks and a messed up remix by Glenn Astro on top. Roman is known for almost a dozen releases on labels like Endless Flight, Philpot and Quintessentials. "Got To Be" features the deep spoken word message from Caits Meissner. Big one!

Speed Painters are a unique collective of musicians who improvise simmering, slow-burning house music, built from a foundation of techno, disco and experimental/found sound.

Over the past few years, the group (Nick Huggins, Oscar O'Bryan, Jon Tjhia and Tig Huggins) have bewitched dancefloors in the rainy backyards, band rooms and basement clubs of their hometown of Melbourne, building a cult underground following. Bellarine, their debut release, is the fruit of a two-week summer recording session in the quiet coastal town of Point Lonsdale.

Taped in the shadow of ocean freighters, surf waves and coastal scrub, Bellarine arose from improvisations between Speed Painters' four members - delivering three songs that curve from minimal techno and balearic surf jams to grubby, visceral rhythm tracks.

This house-disco hybrid is floating on a layer of warm synth pads. It is framed by a seducing female vocal
demanding to "give me a good reason" and directly hits the groove button with a swinging beat and a
massive bassline that kicks in after the first break and makes your stomach vibrate.
To sum it up there are definitely more than one good reason to fall in love with this one.


A2. HOLY DISCO DAYS (MIGUEL PUENTE REMIX)
We're still over the moon for winning MIGUEL PUENTE (No.19 / Hot Waves) to do the remix. His take is more
a reduced version with less vocals and full attention on the groove. This massive slammer has an amazing
build up with sharp off hi-hats, a whipping beat and a bold old-school electro bassline that jacks the body
and makes you want to dance the boogie all night long.


B1. THE CLOU (ORIGINAL MIX)
Attention: this is not your average four to the floor filler! From the first go this gripping and unconventionally
structured track sends you over the edge with a hypnotic acid-bassline drilling itself deeper and deeper
into your brain. Its produced almost entirely with the Prophet synthesizer, proving how much interesting
work can be done by only using a limited set of resources. The female vocal on this track insinuate that
"Boy, you don't have a clou". But for ART IN MOTION the contrary can be said: heres a man with a master plan.


B2. THE CLOU (NHAN SOLO REMIX)
It was high time for our homegrown, wonderboy NHAN SOLO (2DIY4/ OFF) to do a remix for our label.
His remix convinces through a clever interaction of the vocals, bassline and lead melody - combining
them to an almost choir like arrangement with every element swinging coherently in the right place.
He delivers an absolute bomb of a club track where the parts from the original are pumping even more.
Bigger, fatter, dirtier - that's how this homeboy's rollin'!

It is clear that Nicolas Lutz's undeniable Djing skills make him special in the sense that he is one that does not need to depend on having to produce himself in order to pursue his path.
With that said, we can easily agree that that makes him a true SELECTOR.

It is on this basis that he then decides to bring out his own label. Nicolas feels that the very wide spectrum of music in which he portrays in his sets can then be passed on, this time with him as an A&R.

At this stage, whether the label will serve as a platform for his own productions in the future we are still to wait and see but the first release comes out in March 2014.

We keep the good-times rolling along on the Kolour mothership with the debut EP of deep-disco don DEBONAIR. We've been taking notes on this guy since we heard his first tune and ever-since, he just seems to move from strength to strength with each tune that's released. Needless to say, when the opportunity arose for us to debut his first full-on solo EP, it was the epitome of a no-brainer for us. DEBONAIR shows us all facets of his musical capability with a melting pot of music ranging from the traditional DEBONAIR deep-disco sound to slo-mo beat-down business, deep-fused funk, with a dash of beautiful baleric sprinkles for good measure.

After insane releases for All Caps and Nord, Guy is now ready to release his most varied selection to date. On 'Basf Ferro' the genius Welshman moves from dark haunting ambient on 'White Tape Trk 1' over floating electronica on 'Basf Ferro Trk 3' and 'Computape Trk 2' to dynamic earthquake techno on 'Cds 90 X3r Trk 4'. All four tracks was recorded in the early 90's. Until now they've been living a quiet life in Guy's huge archive, but a great maste- ring session by Rashad Becker got rid of the last dust.
"Basf Ferro" is released in an edition of 240 copies on black 12' vinyl. It is housed in PVC and paper with hand screened prints by Kasper Lynge Jensen

Petr Serkin presents new Freedom Sessions! Deep disco & funky tracks for dancefloor!

Shipwrec continues to carve out its own sonic universe with this new EP from a mysterious Detroit outfit, The Valley And The Mountain (aka TVTM). The identities behind TVTM remain unknown, but they have released on Belgium's cult label WeMe and in 2013 surfaced with their Assembly Required EP. Across five cuts here they explore crunchy, richly musical ambient, electro and slo-mo techno. First is 'Uncharted Systems', a slow and meandering cut full of atmosphere and metallic synths. Acid lines, lazy claps and smeared pads all add to the sense of drama and its fair to say this is a hugely unique sounding track. 'Detxploit' then picks up the pace with tough arps, chattering clap and filtered vocal musings that walkabout Detroit as the tension builds and the electro vibes grow stronger. 'Chasing Magnetic Particles' is then a beatless, abstract bit of futuristic synth work with twinkles, breaking wave like sounds, pained lines and undulating modulations all stretching out for the duration. 'Rockfall' is a serene and bittersweet affair with crunchy drums, poignant, cutting chords and gurgling synths, a rusty coloured soundscape that makes you feel and think as much as dance. Lastly, 'Outer Reaches' is a downbeat brew of slapping drums and apocalyptic dark disco moods that, like the EP overall, is woozy and intoxicating.

Black Lenin (Anton Lymarev) is well known Moscow based musician and DJ. His debut EP includes 2 solo tracks on A side, and 2 remixes on B side made by BVoice, Anrilov & SickDisco (label owner) and Leaves & Elie Eidelman (Jackoff Germany).

Wrr continues with its series of releases focused on quality and not quantity. This time with a talented young man from south Italy who released his first EP with us! We're talking about Daniele Polacco, a producer already appeared on our last VA (WRR005), who delighted us with two beautiful house tracks with Detroitian flavors and a very mature style for his young age.
The EP is composed of two original mixes called "Leemon" and "Old Ramshackle" on the A-side,
plus two remixes of the lead track on the B-side. One is from the label owner Giovanni Damico who adds a Disco touch to the original mix, the other one is from the very well known producer Rio Padice with his alias Mystic Jungle, that shows us a completely remodeled sound of the original parts, made only with his MPC.
Wrr is here one more time to spread the freshest underground sound around world!

Mark Barrott has been quietly making waves under numerous aliases and releases on International Feel since inception, but has, since last year's beautiful ' Sketches from an Island ' album, starting working under his own name, creating a fine body of work.

'Bush Society' sees Mark with a new sound that he wears well. Who knows how long he'll stay here, but it's a Sketches lean on a different path. A melting pot of all that is making his world go round at the moment. A field recording from his time living in South America breathes ' Bush Society ' into life, before the Goji drums and Brazilian percussion are joined by a four four groove and those Carl Craig esque strings.

The flipside, ' Saviours Or Savages ' shows Barrott in deep Ibiza mode again, leaning towards the Sketches sound that was so adored last year by Balearic heads, music aficionados & new age crystal dwellers alike, but this time with a different twist. If you want to find the true melting pot of Balearic Beat currently, then this may well be one of the finest examples you are likely to hear. Pure mood music that made the island a worldwide force for thinkers and music makers alike.

The Eccentrics parties started some three years ago by Will and Mark, have been a monthly staple of the eclectic nightlife scene in Peckham since its' inception. The party has hosted many great guests over its' three years, such as Andi Hanley, Piers Softrocks, Toby Tobias, Phil Mison, Frank Tope, Bill Brewster and many more. This 12' is the culmination of Mark and Will saving their hard earned gig money so they can present the sound of Eccentrics to a wider audience. These edits were put together along with another local hero Sanky (a regular guest) whom has kindly provided the 'System' edit and the artwork for the jacket.

'System' is a sleazy European synth pop killer with a laissez- faire attitude apparent in those Simmonds drums and quirky analogue keys. Sanky and Mark have added very slight additional production to extend and deliver a great version of this soon to be classic.

'New York' takes us on a journey of weird magical melodious intrigue that wouldn't sound out of place at a Dominic Strauss Kahn European sex party.

'The Beginning' is a balearock groove that drops into an extended dubbed out island breakdown before coming up for air again.

'The End' is a downtempo slap bass funk rock head nodder that your university professor probably jumped around to in his teens.

Not content with releasing high quality house music via their main imprint, City Fly present a limited edition and beautifully packaged clear 10inch by 'UglyInk' - a collaboration between the equally talented Ugly Drums and Inkswel.

Cologne native Ugly Drums has an inimitable style that has seen him appear on a number of choice labels such as Rush Hour, Freerange and Fifty Fathoms Deep, plus his debut 'Saturn Memories' LP on the discernible Quintessentials imprint.

More recently he featured on Bartellow's 'Humming Birds' EP for City Fly, turning out an acid-infused interpretation of the title track, so it was only a matter of time before City Fly presented this production wunderkind back on wax again..

Inkswel has gained critical acclaim with his distinctive beat-tape boogie, featuring on labels such as the Firecraker Recordings' offshoot Unthank, Faces Records, Rush Hour's 'Dam jam subsidiary 'Boogie Bash - not to mention a forthcoming 12inch on Wolf Recordings. He has also collaborated with Chicago house hierarchy Merwyn Sanders (formerly of Virgo Four and Ace & The Sandman) and produced for electro boogie outfit Nite Class for their supreme synth odyssey 'Love Scenes' LP, both on Hot Shot Sounds. Having been on City Fly's radar for some time, they are now proud to introduce Inkswel to the burgeoning City Fly family and present this exclusive collaboration with Ugly Drums.

So on to the tracks and the EP kicks off with 'Watch Out!' that features the honeyed harmonies of regular Inkswel collaborator Charli James and is a welcome soulful summer sojourn with a spring in its step. With the remix, Inkswel's interpretation is a typically idiosyncratic affair, taking the track on a heavier drum workout laced with reverberating synths that is aimed more for the floor. On the flip and the 'UglyInk Theme' takes the listener on a deeper trajectory with its space-age synths, cosmic keys and husky male vox resulting in an otherworldly groove. Completing the EP is 'Fresh Out The Water' with its vintage drum machines and synth-soaked styling wouldn't sound out of place on a Dam Funk record.Though a departure from their usual releases, City Fly as ever continue to push the boundaries and showcase the many facets of house - watch out for more of their new limited series coming soon..

Copenhagen-based label Music For Dreams are proud to present the new single from Danish duo Visti & Meyland. Written and produced during winter in a remote forest cottage in the far north of Denmark, the two songs included here represent the pair's current state of mind. 'Open Your Arms' conveys the simple idea of openness - a desire to open your eyes, open your arms and carry on, despite the hardships in the way. The production is driven by a very catchy bassline, acoustic drums, mixed with analogue synths, arpeggiated swirls, vocals, piano stabs and a c-part reminiscent of 70s progrock - a funky track for the Balearic brigade. The next track Hand In Hand' started out as a homage to a Visti & Meyland favourite - 60's cult-icon Bob Lind - but took a completely different turn than originally intended and evolved into a beautiful love/relationship song with a summerish yet melancholic sound. Opening with vocals, gradually introducing slow vocoder beats, hand played analogue arpeggios, old-school picked bass and one-take improvised vocals, the track culminates in a piano potpourri of recent Visti & Meyland compositions. Remix duties go to Manchester DJ and production extraordinaire Be Garth Be who delivers a classic Chicago house-influenced dubbed out version of "Open Your Arms". Another strong package from the label that carries the Balearic flag in 2015.

Go March are an instrumental group based in Antwerp, Belgium. It is a new project born out of jam sessions that have resulted in their debut single 'Rise', an electronic, Germanic-infused, post-rock screamer that is a sort of Mogwai meets Kraftwerk synthesis yet with all the futuristic propulsions of a new, fresh and hungry band making music not just for 2015 but for beyond.

This release comes with a series of remixes divided over 2 vinyls. Part 1 holds from Psychemagik and Dreems while part 2 contains Shigeto & Peaking Lights. Each of them adds their own indistinguishable imprint on the track, unpacking and expanding it to take it across a range of sounds and tones that weave from ambient dub to club floor filler. The original version of 'Rise' is included on each both parts.

WALLS return with their third and final studio album 'Urals'

'Urals' is the closing part of a three album cycle that began with their self titled debut in 2010, and continued in 2011 with 'Coracle'

This album is an accumalation of four years of studio exploration, inverting their signature sound into a new, more intense dimension, seeing the duo once again exploring futuristic vistas with their corruscating synth lines, spiralling guitar figures and howling distortion/noise.

Informed by the creation/curation of their burgeoning Ecstatic Recordings imprint that has seen them release music by kindred spirits such as Pye Corner Audio, Axel Wilner (The Field) and L/F/D/M (amongst others) as well as their own individual explorations (Natalizia's caustic minimal synth work outs as NOT WAVING, and Willis's lurid, ritualistic techno as PRIMITIVE WORLD) 'Urals' pushes the envelope a long way from the template they set out with on tracks such as 'Burnt Sienna' or 'Hang Four'

From the stumbling off-kilter groove of the title track, to the probing kosmische pulses of 'Altai' to the intense, ear-shredding acid of 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love, to the sublime synthscape paen 'Radiance', its clear that Willis and Natalizia are taking leave of the WALLS project at the top of their game.
