The - Cosmic Cowboys' project was born in 2008 from the different styles of two young venetian artists: Nicola Sansoni aka - Randomatique' and Kaled Jabari aka - Kaledj'. It's been a while since we've heard a jam as bruising as Nonsense. Titles in techno often don't tell you much, and we'd go as far as to say this badboy is really more no-nonsense. This one will blow the stack, with cavernous kicks, down-the-line 909 claps and hats, and good old fashioned warehouse bells. Decision is a jackin factory floor jam. Spitting percussion that's reverbed to the roof, combines with a one-note synth and pacy high-end work for a full-on strobe light track. Myk Derill goes DIY on his re-work of Nonsense, bringing more detailed rhythm work and creating a dynamic jam that ebbs and flows, constantly moving in and out of focus. Polishing off this belting release is Imprinted - an atmospheric sci-fi rhythm reminiscent of Convexion or even Monolake - a very nice little surprise on an otherwise heads-down release.

Keinemusik is back with its 25th release, the fifth edition of its annual labelcrew-Sampler ‚Workparty', this time logically named ‚Workparty Five'. As alyways featuring one track by every Keinemusik producer, you'll find cuts by Rampa, David Mayer, &ME and Adam Port. And there are some special guests as well. Adam Port teamed up with the english House legends Stereo MC's to lay down the closing track - Place'.
The first and limited edition comes as double vinyl with a gatefoldcover designed by Monja Gentschow.

on the release, as it has been with all the previous Workparty joint ventures of the Keinemusik collective, you'll find four cuts.
Contributors are again: Rampa, David Mayer, &ME and Adam Port. Using the anniversary as an opportunity, the tracks have been spread over two vinyls for the first time and - as another premiere - wrapped into a gatefold cover, amazingly decorated by the artwork of Monja Gentschow.
Leading us into the ring is Rampa's 'Mod' on A. A crossing of analogue and digital methods, recommending this piece as the
unmistakable floor offensive within the batch. Realizing how percussive slaps and the central synth-motif are escalating in call and response, it seems obvious that 'Mod' is not to be taken as the shortcut for 'moderate' in this case.
David Mayer's 'Smoke' on B is going for a dry and percussive approach itself, although executed in his typical signature sound -
intent on the details and all about the subtlety. 'Smoke' is a genuine grower. Crackling and rolling in seductive coolness and puffing one or another ganja-cloudlet into the air.
Yet more percussive spleens to be found on C, when &ME is unrolling his 'Birdland'. Compared to the two predecessors, he is
opening up to a pronounced songwriting architecture and almost tenderly implemented analogue elements like bass runs and piano chords, that are dramatizing this piece until it is consolidating to an impelling floor-affair.
For the grand finale, Adam Port is getting the legendary Stereo MCs on his side. Just for Rob Birch's vocals, 'Place' has to be seen as the most anthemic moment of this EP. But Port's sensitive instrumentation, all the deep sentiments within the beat and the effective sparing of the bigger gestures, are doing their bits to help shaping this one to be a foreseeable classic for the emotional peeks on a dancefloor.

Last year Fulbert & Bastien released a very limited cassette including unreleased tracks and more experimental works, this has been sought after and a sampler of it is now available on vinyl. Tracks differ slightly from their original cassette version but the atmosphere is the same: that deep and dark feeling of that cold October evening when they compiled all the tracks... at Bastien's studio, rue du Mont Cenis, in Montmartre.

Nach ihrer Debüt EP, im Oktober 2012 auf dem Berliner Label Ostfunk, folgt nun das zweite Release bei Ton Liebt Klang (Hamburg). Herausgekommen sind nach akribischer Frickelei zwei Tech House / Minimal Nummern mit dominanten Basslines und sehr lässigem Groove, für den tanzbaren Bereich auf der Clubwiese. Mit dem Einsatz von analoger Hardware, sämtlicher Souveränität beider Künstler und einer ausgefeilten eigenen Stilistik, ist das Ergebnis eine gesunde musikalische Mischung aus dem sich perfekt ergänzenden Duo!
Für den Remix von "Take This Back" wurde Fernando Tessis (Brasilien), Labelhead bei Kombo Records, ins Boot geholt. Mit seiner Interpretation ist eine druckvolle und ebenfalls sehr tanzbare, alternative Version kreiert worden, deren Coolness ihresgleichen sucht!
The Chosen Two (Berlin) haben mit dem Remix zu "Red Curson" mal wieder ihre Remix-Qualitäten unter Beweis gestellt und eine ganz eigene aber authentische Aufarbeitung, mit starker Bassline, zurecht geschustert. Sind aber bei ihren Leisten geblieben und ergänzen die Veröffentlichung zu einem runden Erlebnis und Ergebnis für den Verlegebereich im dampfenden Club!

Hodgson, the man behind "Babylon System":
Hailing from the cultural kaleidoscope they call London, DJ/Producer Hodgson has found a
unique sound consisting of the sounds and experiences that have influenced him growing up in the
city. On his journey Dub, Jungle, Garage, Grime and Dubstep have been genres Hodgson has
both enjoyed and obsessed over. From visiting soho record stores almost every week from the age
of 13 and making mix tapes with friends, these influences still reveal themselves in his productions
and DJ sets today. Despite being fresh on the scene he has already played all over London and
more recently in Hamburg and Barcelona with the Jeudi Records family to crowds of smiling
faces. His debut EP 'Babylon System' on Jeudi Records has been causing waves and turning heads
since being regularly hammered by friends and label bosses Doctor Dru, Take it Easy (Adana
Twins) and Hamburgs Clubmaker Davidé worldwide and going by the feedback and demand, it
seems Hodgson has an interesting future ahead of him.

Hot on the heels of the first release on Visionquest Special Editions is the second part of Quilla's 'Beautiful Hybrid' Remix Project. 'Part Two' features Matthew Herbert, Ryan Crosson & Terje Bakke's takes' on tracks from Quilla's forthcoming debut album 'Beautiful Hybrid' which will be released later this year on Ritual Fire Records.
Featured here are four diverse and innovative remixes of the original tracks. Matthew Herbert produces an off-kilter, shape-shifting sonic colossus of a remix of 'Biological Clock' that is truly inspiring. Also featured is Herbert's Instrumental version of his remix that is equally as stupendous. On the flip and Visionquest member Ryan Crosson delivers a mix of two halves: the heady, hypnotic percussive take on 'We All Have Shadow' transmogrifies halfway through as the razor sharp acid dissects the rhythm with rapier accuracy and jacks the groove! Finally Terje Bakke, takes the tempo down with his Dub Attempt of 'Labyrinth', steeped in creaky atmospheric resonance this is great interpretation.
This is the second of three remix projects with Quilla that will be released on Visionquest Special Editions this year. Please note these will be vinyl only and a limited pressing. The third part of the remix project will feature remixes from Agoria & Wareika.

12 releases strong already, (a:rpia:r) has been silent for the last 2 years, since Petre Inspirescu's Gradina Onirica hit the shelves of your favourite record shop. It is now Raresh's turn to release something special and indeed he did.
Vivaltu is an old gem, a subtle uplifting track driven by a powerful resonator, perfect for that special moment'. The male mumbling voices provide the track with that extra eclectic feel. This is in fact Raresh's only track on Vivaltu EP, the rest are remixes.
Side B presents a minimal house interpretation remix by none other than chilean legend and friend, Ricardo Villalobos. The resonator is still here but in come some childish voices to make it all perfect. Perfect for the dancefloor.
Side C brings forward another member of the (a:rpia:r) family, none other than contemporary wizard Petre Inspirescu. His take has a very cinematic approach, building and building for 4 minutes before the kick even starts. The rich percussive atmosphere is completed with a brilliant melody reminiscent of his classical experiments. This track is an absolute masterpiece !
Aloe Varu is the third chosen for this remix pack and indeed he was chosen wise. His stripped down remix spans for 13 minutes and completes the story of (a:rpia:r) 13.

200 COPIES ONLY! This Mood Swing track by Robots Need Oil proved one of the best selling ever on the Artreform label and recently got signed to the Defected In the House mix by Nic Fanciulli. As such it makes sense to get the track remixed and this time it's Joss and Trav & Volta who remix the classic track by Robot Needs Oil, a Manchester based producer that has
released on more than 100 labels.
Up first is Joss, a Ukranian producer that has appeared on the Arteform label many times before. His remix of Mood Swings is a deep, bubbly house affair driven by gloopy baselines and jangling Middle Eastern sounding strings that bring plenty of mystery to the groove. What's more, its epic breakdown is sure to bring some emotional moments on the
dancefloor.
British pair Trav & Volta have long relationships with dance music but only started working together a couple of yearsago. So far they have released their cutting edge house on classic labels like King Street and have been given props by the likes of André Crom, Danny Daze, Droog, Flashmob and BLOND:ish to name but a few. Their remix is a funky thing
driven by big silvery drums and is designed for main room damage. The spine tingling melodies and wavy groove surewill sweep people off their feet and a subtle vocal adds a killer human element.

Long awaited understand 004 sees the light of press as a double ep containing 4 tracks from our own Lazar Cezar. Om vedea may well be or not be seen as an album, as each track has it's own individual life, nevertheless you can somehow feel they come from the same source.
First disc shows a very dubby side of Cezar. Time en spies is a haunting psychedelic (yet powerful) tool while Sun2216 is an layed down percussive dub track.
