After delivering a top-notch remix for the first effort (PULP01), DaRand agreed to come up with an entire EP for the label's forthcoming output. The result is well orchastrated deephouse sounds with that signature DaRand Land vibe. The opening track 'The Long Night' and the follow up 'Soothe Me' both have that classic American house vibe to it while the EP takes a more percussive route on 'Tribute To Ron And Anthony'. DaRand continues to show his versatility on the downtempo track 'Cling To A Cloud' which has that dreamy touch to it. 'Jose Lau' helps out on the B side with his mix of 'Sunshine To Peaches'. All and all PULP is determined to set a very classic standard in modern House.

Dilankex is a work of opposites - two versions of the same multiple events - a black and white release.
Oberman Knock's original version (white) is a laid-back affair housed within a glassy place of worship, echoing with monastic vocals, strings, wind instruments and field recordings, which are offset by synthetic beats, funk bass and entwined sleazy vocals.
In contrast Autechre's remix (black), panning out at just over 17 minutes long, is everything that you'd expect from the duo - a frantic, fractured and detailed to within an inch of it's life piece, that has no need to build, but instead unravels and mutates into what is an unmistakable Autechre crescendo.
Whilst both versions play out at opposite ends of the tempo spectrum, what connects both is that they are emotional machine music with guts and vigor.

Lovingly packed, with a beautiful etching of a "Schwibbogen" (a traditional Christmas candle arch from the Erzgebirge) on the B-side and with unique liner notes by the one and only Max Rademann it's the perfect Christmas gift for electronic music lovers and their audiophile moms and dads. "Haisel Stieht" originates from a moody jam session by a bunch of friends and is based on a classic folk song from 1905, namely "Wu de Waelder haamlich rauschen" by Anton Guenther. Break SL contributes his distinctive House-drumming while Jens Rosemann comes up with some catchy guitar licks. The song really takes off when the native "Erzgebirgler" Max Rademann starts to croon like he never crooned before and plays his beloved organ like a young god. On top, Tiny and Silke Brandes are rapping and having a laugh in the background. "Zauberhafte Fantasie" is just Break SL in all his glory.
