Fuckthegovernment.Ltd is a label and is artist duo ran by F.T.G (Alfredo Trastulli) and Music Box head honcho, Marco Riff, two Italians with a deep love of analogue-inspired house music and chicago sound. The label's latest once more arrives at us from the label owners, who combine witH aplomb on the quite expertly named '(I've Seen) Love From Tokyo'. For the first time ever, Fuckthegovernment.Ltd call on a remixer to give the package an extra sheen. In a move that's befitting of the standing for which the label is held, the guys have only gone and nabbed Chi-town legend Boo Williams for remix duties. A killer DJ tool that takes the listener on a proverbial journey of sound, his effort - not a million miles away from classic Williams productions a la 'Mortal Trance' - is sure to win plaudits from discerning house jocks aplenty. The original is an Intricate and deep number that's laced with clever cowbells, warm pads and a sporadic vocal that really brings the heat. With such adept producers on show, it's perhaps no surprise that Fuckthegovernment's latest serves up a masterclass in beautiful house music.

Applescal has to date released on labels including Ghostly International and Traum Schallplatten, while the efforts for his own label Atomnation have seen him welcome music from the likes of Gidge, Weval, David Douglas and Sau Poler, amongst others. Voted at a very respectable #03 for XLR8R's coveted 'Best New Act' in 2015, Hessel Stuut is a member of Polynation and has significant experience not only playing live music, but as a producer, visual artist and designer too. Together, they form Deltawerk, a dynamically electronic duo whom when united create human and lucid music, which feels as much at home in an underground rave as it does in an open-air live performance. While there is a faint echo of artistic collision, the album undoubtedly provides an eerie sense of unity for both Pascal and Hessel's own discography, conserving the warm subculture of
analog and modular instrumentation.

On his own Ladies and Gentlemen imprint, Green Supreme is the fourth studio album from house music veteran Phonique: a collection of 11 remarkable songs from one of the scene's most revered producers. To describe Phonique as prolific would be something of an understatement. To date, he has amassed a discography of more than 500 original tracks and remixes - as well as three previous studio albums - for acclaimed labels such as Dessous, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Systematic, Souvenir and of course his own label Ladies and Gentlemen, a collection which includes some runaway successes. Kanja Records is sincerely honored to present its fifth vinyl release, based on a concept called Sunday Mornings. With this series of releases we will focus on that warm up, early morning, after party gems and slowly fading away from peak time music. Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Music that offers a vast variety, but in the end coming together in that sweet and warm morning glory.
Varuth by Olvap was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. Warm and complex structure is something you will find expressed in all of his releases, especially with the track he presented on this release.
Holnap by Ztrl perfectly sits beside our opening track. Minimalistic beats and nice, smooth atmospheres really nicely round up the first side of this release.
Hoodwink by Jhobei stands strongly on our b side, with broken up beats and sweet atmospheric pads he surely deserves a place on our Sunday Mornings series.
Disperare by De La Munte is the final track on this vinyl release. A really special track, that has a very mysterious sentimental vibe nicely rounds up our fifth release.

Late April will see Decay Records return with a new release from Hector, entitled the
'Womb' EP and accompanied by remixes from The Mole and Dan Farserelli.

Mexican producer and DJ Hector's career has been on a meteoric rise for some time now with his material being snapped up for many leading imprints in the industry such as Leftroom, Tsuba, Desolat and Mobilee. The Barcelona based artist also maintains a heavy touring schedule taking him across the globe to hot spots across Europe and the United States and recently launched his own VL Recordings imprint to critical acclaim, here though we see him back on the rising Decay Records imprint out of the UK with some fresh new material.

Up first is the original mix of 'Womb' which takes on a slowly brooding percussive feel via murky drum hits, thundering sub bass tones, swirling vocal murmurs and bubbling dub echoes. The Mole steps up to rework 'Womb' next and typical fashion the Canadian artist delivers an entirely unique take on things with atmospheric field recordings, intricately evolving synth layers, crunchy percussion and the originals infectious sub bass hook making for a refreshing listen.

Londoner Dan Farserelli reshapes 'Womb' next, taking things in a slightly different direction with swinging low-slung drums, snaking sub bass grooves and hypnotic chords fluttering away in the
depths of the record. Lastly to round off the package is Hector's second original 'Da Morning After', which as the name would suggest takes on a hypnotic after hours feels with ethereal pad swells and a raw rhythmic drive.

Earth Patterns is a new journey into sound by London based Australian born musician Ben Davidson, best known for his disco tinged house singles as Ben Sun, that were championed by the likes of Gerd Janson and Larry Heard.

The Earth Patterns concept presents a more expanded instrumental sound with live rhythm sequencing and synth work, sitting alongside Vangelis Katsoulis, Lars Bartkuhn and Soichi Terada on Alex Bradley's Utopia Records.

Davidson joins the dots between Detroit by way of Tokyo techno on 'Sunflower' to Dream II Science deepness on 'Horus Rising' and some worldly organic rhythms for a modernist and dare we say it Utopian sound on 'After The Rain'.
The analogue sound from his London studio comes through on the gentle and harmonic B-side opener 'Transit Pan', perhaps the start of a journey beyond the dance floor for the producer.

Artwork and liner notes by Davidson himself, all pressed by bespoke pressing plant The Vinyl Factory on heavyweight vinyl.

Hot on the heels of the smash release from Superlover, MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back SIMION to the label with his THE RHYTHM EP. SIMION presents two cuts of upfront house music that are prime for the dancefloor.
First up is title-track, 'The Rhythm', a nod to the 90s Chicago sound with jacking drums and a sensual female vocal. Backed up by a funk-fuelled bassline and a lush piano breakdown that lead into a deep house groove.
The B-side 'Feeling Good' is true to its title. Tight percussion, chopped vocals and a catchy synth line all come together in a fluttering climax. This one is sure to leave any dancefloor shaking.

Angelehnt an ein legendäres Konzert im Mai 2008, bei dem das Pariser Symphonieorchester Les Siècles unter seinem Dirigenten Francois-Xavier Roth Kompositionen des Detroiter Techno-Produzenten Carl Craig in vollkommen neue Klangsphären überführte, erscheint nun das Album "Versus", das diese Konzeption aufgreift und in Perfektion vollendet. Dabei wirkt der französische Pianist Francesco Tristano als Mediator, der Craigs Techno-Sounds in klassische Partitionen transformiert. Als zusätzlicher Spiritual Advisor war Carl Craigs langjähriger Freund und Wegbegleiter Moritz von Oswald an den Aufnahmen beteiligt, mit dem er zusammen in 2008 das legendäre "Recomposed" Album bei der Deutschen Grammophon veröffentlichte. Traditionelle Klassik-Orchestrierung trifft elektronischen Underground-Sound.

The Klubb Kidz' was a short-lived project by Peter Primiani and Tyrone Solomon. Between 1993 and 1995 they released three records on DJ Duke's Power Music' and on 83 West.' It's that
typical mid-90s Jersey House with lotsa cut-up Vocals, Pianos and Organ chords. Real bangin' stuff! Loop-o remastered their 1994 tune Don't wanna hurt you' at the famous Calyx Mastering /
Berlin.

Karsten Weiss alias DJ with Soul' is a Deep & Vocal House enthusiast living and DJing in Berlin for quite some time now. His soulful instrumental tune (nomen est omen) is an ode to classical
House by the likes of Joey Negro, Kerri Chandler and others - an epic tune with a long build-up and two jazzy Piano solos by his buddy MickyWin.

Jordan Fields must be one of the most underrated producers of 90s Chicago House. He's done dozens of EPs and LPs under various monikers on tier-1 labels like SSR, House Jam, Large,
Daisy, Camouflage, Moody, etc. One of his first was Underground Fundamentals Vol. 1' on Strictly Rhythm Sublabel Red Cat' in 1994. Everybody Swingin' was also carefully remastered in 2016.
The EP is closed by Italian House Music connoisseur Gioele Giacopelli a.k.a. JWL from Perugia.
His tune's a reminiscence to all the Divas that have built the HOUSE.

B1 Ludwig Zibell - Herkulesberg
Ludwig Zibell's track sets a landmark for a very special place in Köln:
the Herkulesberg, a so called "Trümmerberg" of post-war debris in the
center of the city. This special scenery gave the inspiration for his
slowly progressing piece of intense deep techno art.

B2 Diom - Switcheroo
"Switcheroo" by Diom celebrates reduction. Hypnotic chimes and subtle
changes echo the compositions of musicians like Steve Reich and other
representatives of the minimal music scene.

While unveiling the 'Mutant Tournament' Quartet last year, label boss Nachtbraker was quietly hunting for new music behind the scenes. Being the fine huntsman he is, he came out of the woods with sonic bits and bobs so delectable he had no choice but to spread them out over two brand new quartets. That's right, eight records in total, to be released over the course of the next 18 months. We're delighted to introduce you to Scott Franka, who's at the helm of the first missive. This creative head from Amsterdam has been making music since the tender age of 11, but it wasn't until he adopted his Scott Franka moniker that he really found his groove. His music encompasses influences from dub and dark techno to classic drumpcomputer and synth-heavy house. Franka's style takes cues from Detroit, Chicago and the UK, and yet is also very personal and forward thinking at the same time. 'The Gym' might be his solo debut, but a smattering of releases from the man is on the horizon. The best way to introduce you to Scott Franka's musicality is 'The Gym' on A1. Starting of with sweet, melancholic chords and 808 hats Scott turns your world upside down after the first break. Try to keep your head steady, and get that dirty look of your face.. doesn't work right It's just too good. 'Toenail' is up next, and its undeniable groove and incredible amalgamation of synths and strings make for an absolute early hours melter. Flip over for 'Sorry' to hear Franka knock it out of the ballpark with its heavy breakbeat and UK-style bass. Finally, there's 'Street', a mesmerising groover, rounding things off nicely. The release doesn't only mark its first artist EP, it also marks a new look for the label. Building on the muscular,pheromone-rich theme of the first Quartet, Elsemarijn Bruys developed a fresh concept for both new Quartets with a little help from Scott Franka,

Sascha's mix lightens the mood and brings a nice subtle house vibe to the track with emotive keys - strings and an infectious peak time bass-line.
