Bastedos returns with more signature weirdo disco not disco (but disco) cut-up cuts.
This time the painstaking editing comes from A.M., Last Waltz, and Bastedos themselves.
Side A brings us Sit On This, a rolling, chugging, clapping, marimba-ing (!) disco workout in the vein of Material ,which pulls you along through a peaky peak time vocal, a sexed up guitar break, and some chopped-up chanting, all the way to its inevitable hands in the air Piano finale.
Side B first provides us first with No Smoking On The Moon and it's celestial choral stylings. Soft synths and tough bass play with each other beneath B-Movie fx and ecclesiastic organs. The sound of a space age disco cult... from the past.
Finishing off side B we have Magicke, the extended soundtrack to the opening of the gates of hell. Shuffling go-go perc, syncopated drums and fuzzed out chords play out under Satan's saxophone, before giving way to a damned (damned fuzzy that is) guitar, sounding out the call of Cthulu.

comes in clear vinyl If you've been following Graeme Clark in his solo disguise as The Revenge or the stream of 6th Borough Project 12-inches leading up to this one, you should know what to expect here—deep, blissfully hypnotic sampledelia with track flows governed by the laws of extreme repetition. It's a shame that "trance" means a particular subgenre of electronic music, because that term applies just as much to the effects of these tracks as anything Tiësto's ever played.

Given the space, Clark and Craig Smith are able to utilize this formula over a broad musical spectrum, creating music in the full-fledged sense, one that traces a landscape of tempos, styles and emotions and a menagerie of resurrected sounds conjures up images of dusty record shops and tattered vinyl, musical spirits captured on wax. Awesome!

The final part in our Caribbean reissue trilogy sails back to Kingston, Jamaica and unearths a little known track by Richard Ace. Oft considered a one hit wonder with hisd Reggae Disco version of Staying Alive, Jones Town Massaca is
some five minutes of pure horns, guitar, drum and bass grooves.
A talented member of the Studio One family, playing keys and guitar in the likes of The Gladiators and Heptones throughout the 70s reggae heyday, it was Richard's self-titled
solo album in 1979 and the mentioned cover of the world-wide phenomena from the Saturday Night Fever movie and soundtrack wonder that gave him a place in reggae's hall
of fame. However, Richards disco-infused reggae explorations for Tony Robinson's TRGroovemaster label did not end there and it is the title track of a seemignly lost 12" that
is the perfect final part in the label's Caribbean treasure trove.
First coming to the ears of the label nearly a decade ago by friend, digger, dealer, DJ, producer (see his edit of ERC022) and collector, Nick The Record, it's infectious drum and
bass groove meant locating a copy became a high priority. After several years with no joy, not only one, but two sealed copies came our way via a dealer from Japan and the desire
to create an even longer Discomix was created live on the turntables. Forward to 2015 and the idea (and artwork source) of the trilogy of Caribbean releaseswas born out of this very track. Saved until last and backed by a label in-house dub edit
and what you have is a party massaca for summer BBQs to stacked Sound Systems alike.

To keep people guessing, the fifth instalment from Australia's best selling People Must Jam label takes things in a house direction with Andy Ash at the controls. Andy has put through an immense EP of varying house flavours to satisfy an all tastes.

'Move'is one of Andy's straight up house cuts - which he is becoming well known for, a deep sounding organ line carrying the track forward with stabs and a nice little vocal sample to boot.

Mixing things up a little on the flip, our good friend - Ron Basejam has provided a sublime 'Adriatic Excursion' remix of 'Move'. Ron takes the track to a totally different place with uplifting piano lines and orchestral string stabs building to a lovely crescendo. This remix should be earmarked for Croatia 2015.

Finally 'Dommah' takes the EP into almost techno territory with building pads and solid beats resulting in a monster track for when the strobelight pulses and the heads go down!

Poland's Father And Son Records And Tapes present first proper outing from label boss Maciek Sienkiewicz - three heavily edited tunes from different periods of popular music history. "The White Sheik" turns an obscure 80s Eastern Bloc groove into a full-on modern disco stormer, while "No Shit Sherlock" is 70s Brazilian fusion redux. Finally, the title track turns first few notes of one massive pop hit from '02 into hypnotic, entrancing journey in the vein of Terry Riley or Philip Glass. Fantastic cover art designed especially for this release by renowned contemporary artist Paulina Olowska.

Boris Werner is known for producing quality music and filling venues with crowds who can't get enough of his energetic and inspiring sound. These are a couple of the reasons why Boris Werner stands with us here today and proudly presents the Slow Dancin' EP, and we think you are really gonna love it. Strings and a relaxed rhythm user in the title track, complete with ambient vocal samples. Then, all at once the bass hits and the kick fills the void; instant groove. A jumpy synth dances over the track and invites friends to the show. Before you know it you've got a full track on your hands. Don't be fooled by the title, as it is indeed misleading. There will be no slow dancing to this gem. 'Missing Out (Dedicated to Ed & Emma) is a bit deeper, but with a warm feel (e-piano on reverb). Then, like 'Slow Dancin'', it catches you off guard with the beat. This is a feel good track, perfect for evenings, deep nights, and early mornings. Not to mention some of the years last open-air festivals. 'Did It In Miami' opens with caution, an indecisive kick with other percussive elements slowly build into an invigorating tech house beat. Grimy vocal samples creep in and the bass line slips under the beat, holding up the track well on a packed dancefloor.

Balearic pioneers and longstanding laid back music evangelists, A Man Called Adam add their deft touch to Stars Festoon and take it down a slightly off beat track between the sand dunes with electronic glitches, pops and bass sounds, stripping it back to bare bones, giving it some extra space and isolating vocal parts to give it a slightly haunted feel, perfect for a late night / early morning beach walk soundtrack...If Only Sometimes once again delivers with its wonderful piano led opening and gentle guitar pickings enticing Ben to sooth and gently ease the listener in before enveloping them with warm harmonies and uplifting vocals, enhanced by the euphoric string section that then gives way to wonderful brass stabs and the crescendo.

The idea that France once had a genius and let him go to California where he was more welcome and appreciated than in Paris is, in the digital area, a trivial issue. Every single Web entrepreneur heads towards the Silicon Valley to develop his ideas. During the 70's, this was less ordinary. Back then, it was another area, music, which witnessed the departure of a very talented guy for the United States, a country that quickly understood he was a star. Marc Cerrone, a trained drummer and disco phenomenon who sold more albums than many other artists put together, saw his career magnified by America but also slightly twisted by France which quickly reduced him to a style, disco music, without trying to understand who he was and how relevant his talent was. His path went through two phases, two complementary moves. The Golden Touch released by the end of the seventies claims the birth of a all dico movement, and its composer is one of the spiritual father

The first years, from his first album in 1976 to his 7th in the middle of the 80's, were fuelled with an exemplary sense of creativity and a free-spirit vision. Against everyone's advice, Cerrone was never reluctant to compose long and pure trance disco tracks, not exactly radio-friendly at the time, but which did incredibly well because they encapsulated the hedonism of the day and were far more than a trend. For Instance, Love In C Minor' and Supernature' have become unbeatable classics, featured regularly in the best pop, disco or dance selections... Such a success would have burnt most of the others' wings, whose career would have been ruined. At the beginning of the 80's, when he decided to unleash his creativity on stage, Cerrone managed to rebound with ' You Are the One ' studio album.

As Benedikt Rugar's superbly illustrated cover art for the recent CockTail D'Amore compilation Nothing Matters When We're Dancing proved, the Berlin collective proudly celebrate their status as a forum for Berlin's gay community to fully express themselves. With no releases on the label since that compilation arrived in January, Discodromo and DJ Boris have now unveiled a sister operation with a focus on edits under the wonderful name CockRing D'Amore. Wish Key was an Italo Disco group formed by the husband/wife duo of Manlio Cangelli and Lorella Ghilardi in Milan.Their first single 'Orient Express' was released in 1983 by Discomagic Records. 'Orient Express' begins with a rolling baseline, bright synthesizer stabs, and a sampled train siren. The double-tracked male/female vocals compliment each other perfectly, heightening the dramatic tension. The breakdown introduces synthesized steel drums and Spanish guitar, for a touch of tropical melancholia.

From the tropics comes Whiskey Disco, a sneaky re-edit label bent on dredging the decanter for diffident dancefloor genius from
latent disco perpetrators. It's loosely connected to Sleazy McQueen and his assorted cohorts. Summer of My Life joins newcomer and alumnus; Closed Paradise and B.G. Baarregaard. The title is a cheeky reference that sidesteps youthful sentiment with a nod towards middle age. B.G. establishes the mood with his impeccable balance of sample and synthesis with the loopy, upbeat Astarjatning and the carefree, balearic Astargardurinn. Closed Paradise produces original disco with sheer panache weaving Sample and groove with slight melancholic tones across Breakin' Down and Wolf Sisters. Whiskey Disco #40 exemplifies our roots And future, a constant evolution of modern disco and vintage edits.

The Brazilian Shakedown brings you a selection of psychedelic remixes, edits and originals by the freshest Brazilian producers of today. By merging their cultural heritage and understanding of contemporary dance music they create a unique musical style. The journey takes off with D-Edge Resident DJ Marcio Vermelho from Sao Paulo, who combines a bouncing brazilian groove, mesmerizing synth stabs and a catchy vocal hook in a way you never heard before. Followed by one of brazil's most talented new producers, Carrot Green from Rio, turns a brazilian folk song into a deep and hypnotic house anthem. Flip over and our host Noema takes you down the rabbit hole, by turning two compositions with custom made marimba-like instruments into one trippy jam.
Thomash, part of the legendary Voodoohop collective from Sao Paulo rounds off this 12" by conjuring a classical Brazilian round dance into an acidized late night procession.

This beautiful vinyl only 12" comes with a cover illustration by Porto Allegre based artist Daniel Eizirik.

Edits from....A mysterious new imprint from the Southwark borough of South East London.

Stepping up for the first release is an artist we know only as 'Junior', on ' drums, poems and small instruments' as the introduction to the lead track tells us. 'Junior Love' is an exercise in dance-floor tension, with a looped ``O`latin breakdown teasing for almost too long, before building to the point of climax and then letting it slip away. Tantalising. Dangerous

On the B side we are treated to a high intensity afro-brasillian drum freakout before moving to something different all together, in the form of 'Ohh, Junior!', a floating, lysergic mantra, which gently fizzes with psychedelic tribal energy.

Stamp's back with Jascha Hagen paying homage to West Africa's Afrobeat pioneer & a certain female jazz instrumentalist from the famed Blue Note catalogue.
The Leipzig based producer first came to the attention of the label after he dropped the outstanding 'Pan That Shit Out' EP on Manna All Night. Here the open minded producer showcases a different side to his production style with two surefire edits that will work wonders wherever they're played.
Pitched down and spaced out, 'Soldier' on the A side is an edit of a politically charged Nigerian anthem. This slow burner keeps you locked in with instantly recognisable keys, subtle guitar licks and a rolling bass line that will even make the stiffest necks nod in solidarity.'Harlem' takes you back to a sun-soaked day with this classic 1970s NYC soul anthem dedicated to the road that loops around the north tip of Manhattan. Jascha takes the jazz-funk anthem and adds extra instrumentation to create a subtle 2015 update...

New 12' from Greg Wilson's Super Weird Substance label

Black Spuma are Fabrizio Mammarella & Phillip Lauer. Phillip is known as one half of Tuff City Kids with Gerd Janson and one third of Talamanca System with Gerd and International Feel's own Mark Barrott, plus for his acclaimed solo album earlier this year (Borndom). Fabrizio is known for his Telespazio
project and this was, in fact, their meeting point, when Phillip (trading as Arto Mwambe) remixed a Telespazio track.

At the start of 2015 they decided to work together and see what came out, so Fabrizio travelled to Phillip's Hinterhof Toy Factory near Frankfurt, and this EP was created modern Italo (one of them is Italian) with a housey background. They say they just wanted to have fun and make music 'for friends'. International Feel says....that'll do for us.

Lead track 'Hype Around' is all of those things, old and modern Italo Balearic house with a drum 'n' bass b.line and a few delicious pads. 'Spumatix ' lowers the BPM and adds a Lee Perry Space Echo and the self titled 'Black Spuma' takes us back to Rimini framing the classic sound in a modern context. 'Emizioni Miste' brings the EP to a close with a tribal machined groove, funky bassline and popcorn keys.

Both Lauer and Mammarella have a history of quality releases on great labels: Running Back, Beats In Space, Permanent Vacation, Rollerboys Recordings and our very own International Feel. House music for House People.

Poland's Father And Son Records And Tapes presents another stellar release from the man Das Komplex. Side A brings us two remixes from his much sought-after debut EP "Nowadays": first one is dreamy "Like A Fish", here treated by Norwegian disco legend Rune Lindbaek together with his partner Helene Rickhard. They extend the ambient intro, which is followed by super-catchy bass and drums, slowly adding guitars for maximum uplifting effect, a true Balearic anthem. Next, the space-disco duo U-Ka turn "Siren" into a full-on slo-mo bass-heavy club hit, with shuffling rhythms and distorted vocal samples, definitely one for the dancefloor. Side B bring the title track, a new gem from Das Komplex, apparently designed to tear apart the clubs worldwide: a 16-minutes long monster of a tune, seamlessly melting deep house, disco and new wave into a completely new and original quality - not to mention a vocal sample taken from some obscure Polish record. Another sure shot for Das Komplex!
