Currently Dan is teamed up with Balearic Beat originator Trevor Fung and also creating music under the name Incredible Sound with his partner Melodie Forester.Dan's always pushing his own ideas of what dance music is with his own productions.

Here are some plain and simple cuts by yours truly Credit 00 that push just the right buttons to make people move. The tracks were made exclusively for his live set but they are too good to keep them back. Without superfluous frills these four bangers scream "Party" in every note but as usual with Credit 00 there's also a melancholic side somewhere behind those tricky beats. House is a feeling!

Aimed straight at the late-night dancefloors, Disco Bits continues its policy of tweaking dancefloor classics for maximum Disco Power! On the A-side:
A1 'Disco Power' - first up is a relatively unknown Afro Disco number by Bomp. Here it's beefed up and re-arranged with extra drums, extra breaks, proper bass and proper Disco Power!
A2 'I Wanna Thank You' - The Alicia Myers original has always needed a re-arrangement. The Disco Bits boys take a small scalpel and re-imagine this with a proper verse and chorus taking the classic break and turning this track from an uncut diamond into a finely cut gem On the flipside we have:
B1 'Let's Do It Again' - a classy edit of the Nightlife Unlimited favourite, which builds a deep groove from the bassline up, adding layers of keys and vocals and climaxing with the original's hooky chorus. B2 'Tighten It Up' - The BLT original gets a similarly bass-centric treatment, the evolving groove underpinning the refrain of 'drinkin' wine and wastin' time' as the track builds to reveal its familiar verse and chorus towards the end

Introducing Kon's forthcoming compilation album 'Kon & The Gang', we are delighted to present this 12" sampler featuring two incredible cuts taken from the LP, as well as an exclusive remix from Caserta. Opening track 'Timeless' could hardly be more aptly named. Sublime, smokey piano touches on the intro give way to an uplifting, languid disco track, jammed full of sunshine. Catchy vocal snippets, rock solid bass and guitar licks build up the groove beautifully alongside Kon's trademark staccato, squelchy synth chord stabs. On the flip-side Truccy (better known as Compost's Rainer Trüby and Corrado Bucci) present 'Closer', another sun-drenched groove with definite Balearic touches. Jazzy chords and touching vocals (performed by the duo themselves with assistance from Nicolas "Michael Ellis" Rogoll) lend the track a distinctly 'live' feel. Boston producer and mix engineer Caserta closes out proceedings with his remix of friend and musical collaborator Kon's 'Timeless'. Highlighting piano loops and synth stabs from the original version,
his rework moves the track seamlessly into Deep House territory, with smoothly rolling percussion and a hypnotic arrangement. A delicious taste of what's to come from 'Kon & Gang', this limited 12" is surely going to be essential listening this summer.

For the past four decades, a growing cult of soul music collectors have sought two obscure LPs and a handful of extremely rare 45s released on the vanity record label LAD Productions, Inc. between the late seventies and the mid eighties by the mysterious South Side Chicago singer/song writer Larry Dixon.
Larry's raw songs capture the transition from R&B to boogie-down as disco was rapidly becoming extinct.
They also perfectly illustrate Larry's ability to overcome his environment and discrimination, transcended by his determination to write and produce music. With the support of his faithful musicians, Larry's success was only hindered by lack of airplay and promotion, but his talent shines through.
This is the story of Larry Dixon, his label LAD Productions, Inc., and his friends and family throughout four decades of music in Chicago's toughest neighborhoods.
Jerome Derradji is proud to reactivate Past Due Records - the boogie funk division of Still Music to release this fantastic archive - what many consider to be the Holy Grail - of Chicago Funk, Boogie and Soul.

Aboutface is firstly a composer/live performer and secondly a DJ, hailing from East London he steps up for the next release on Amirali's newly founded imprint Dark Matters.

Drawing upon both the sociological and environmental landscape as creative inspiration, Aboutface uses his background in fine art and painting to help inform his productions.

All the last three years music has been inspired by a thousand mile plus journey through Eastern Europe and around the coastal regions of the UK; each song using the environmental recordings of a different region or city as the creative starting point.

He says "I like to combine field recording, acoustic and analogue sounds to articulate small stories in each song. My creative influences range from Pierre Schaeffer, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Claude Debussy, through to James Holden, Four Tet and Boards of Canada.

The complexity and broad fields of influence are evident in The Hazy Path To Misunderstanding.

The EP is made up of three tracks, The Hazy Path To Misunderstanding is a meandering and laid back percussive track whilst My Benevolent Shackle exudes a darker intensity.

Lastly Tin Man steps up for a remix of The Hazy Path To Misunderstanding adding more frenetic energy to the track and upping the pace.

Aboutface's compositions are intelligent, and with a debut album planned for next year slotting into the eclectic Dark Matters' growing roster, the future looks bright.

Not much is known about this mysterious artist from Istanbul other than the music he produces draws heavily on the heritage of his home city and its melting pot of east meeting west. 'Luna' is a deep, multi layered late night dance floor instrumental with exotic eastern flavours while 'Araf' features haunting female vocals and guitar workout over a deep baseline and crunching beats with a clear electronica soundscape. Fantastic for the late night floor.

With summer just round the corner, Hell Yeah come up with some essential—and fully, officially licensed—new cuts from Balearic Gabba Sound System edit master Enzo Elia. He touches up some historic Italo house with his usual masterful touch and will have you yearning for boat party season before the tracks have even finished playing.If you loved the Italian's take on Soft House Company What You Need, you should go crazy for this new offering. Up first is italo-piano-house classic Morenas's Hazme Sonar, which is eight minutes of diva vocal athletics, big synths and pumping retro drums that will make you punch the air. Fun and fulsome, it is a sure fire classic house winner this summer.
Jazzy Doll's Ladybird is next and in Enzo's hands becomes a rubbery, ducking and diving house cut with big hand claps, bubbling bass and loose limbed percussion that is ripe for raves on the sea.

Three years on from the release of the critically acclaimed debut album, Undergrass, Mushrooms Project return to Leng with a two-track taster or their forthcoming follow-up full-length.
In the intervening years, Giorgio Giri and Marco Lentano have hardly been slacking, further exploring their unique blend of glistening Balearica, dubbed- out disco, Italian Afro-cosmic and psychedelic nu-disco via EPs for Horn Wax, Uber and Hell Yeah! Recordings. Their latest two-track missive is undoubtedly amongst the Italian duo's strongest work to date. The A-side boasts 'Dirty Bolas', an effortlessly summery groover destined to soundtrack sultry evenings and sun-baked afternoons. Its' rolling, percussive funk groove and undulating electric bassline keep the action moving, but it's the tumbling guitar solos, toasty
keys, humid electronics and atmospheric feld recordings that catch the ear. Flip the 12' for 'Sunset Ballad', a near ten-minute epic that more than lives up to its' name. Soft, delay-laden acoustic guitar passages and yearning electric piano fourishes set the tone, before the Parma-based production duo
gradually ups the pressure via a shuffing groove, whispering acid lines and quietly bubbling synthesizers. It's undeniably rich and life affrming, but best appreciated while lying fat on your back.
Dirty Bolas will be featured on the duo's second album, which is slated for release in the fnal quarter of 2016. For now, you'll have to make do with these two slices of seductive, sun-bright brilliance.

Powder is a young producer raised in rural Japan, now living in Tokyo. She wakes daily at 6AM, squeezes onto a packed subway and commutes to a bland office building where her day is consumed by the electronics industry — a banal world of blank stares, uniforms, data entry and soliciting phone calls. She cherishes her lunch break, a solitary hour of astral projection where her daydreams cull inspiration for another life, her nocturnal routine. At 9PM the day closes, as her co-workers flock to the Izakaya for beers, Powder rushes to her micro home-studio to exorcize her daily demons, constructing a tropical temple to house her immaculate vision. She slaves away, unabashed until sunrise, when her routine begins again, however, today's lunch break is an escape into her headphones where she will revisit her soundtrack inspired by lights, colors, hometown memories, and the imaginary worlds where the fruits of her labour will live.

In times where a compilation of 12-inch bangers passes as an album, Telephones "Vibe Telemetry" opts for a different approach. Without being a departure from his 12's for Sex Tags Ufo, Full Pupp and yours truly or his brilliant remix work for José Padilla and Vangelis Katsoulis, the Norwegian producer from Bergen who calls Berlin his home, hones sound, skills and aesthetics on his debut long-player.

"Vibe Telemetry" is inspired by the pure feeling of listening to house, disco and techno, prior to knowing what it actually was: ambiguous, euphoric, mystical and melancholic. Sonic and physical experiences, which names and origins were yet to be discovered.

Aus Music follow up a string of records from fresh signees Paul Woolford, Tom Trago and Recloose with the return of a long term friend and label favourite Marquis Hawkes. Hot on the heels of his recent LP 'Social Housing' - the Berlin based artist lines up 'Doornroosje', a tight a two-tracker that remains consistent with his output on Aus: dancefloor-focused jams suffused with simplicity and soul. 'Discopuss' kicks things off with a potent combination of samples and hardware as sassy Funk samples are propelled by tough crunching drums. The title track then follows up with piano stabs and busy, percolating synth lines driven at a pacy rate to rapturous effect rounding off another solid addition to Aus Music's catalogue.

Rumours have been swirling that Hillary D. Rodham has teamed up with Wall Street to take on the Kremlin's most powerful sleeper agent and dearest droog of Mr. Putin, Donald Trump.
In response, Trump has hired a group of hackers to penetrate the DNC's e-mail server.
For unknown reasons several of the files attached to these e-mails have been labeled as 'Stereoyunost'.
Wikileaks was kind enough to release audio recordings to Mysidian that were found on the server and have immediately been pressed to vinyl.
Don Jones & Bill Benjamins have been linked to the recordings but we're still unsure who Stereoyunost is and the connection they all have with each other.

Copenhagen's Music For Dreams continue their string of pearls in 2016 with the 12' release of Apiento & LX's DISH.
At the request of cutting edge Danish designer Trine Lindegaard, Paul Byrne (aka Apiento) created this music to accompany her DISH project - a playful fusion of food, fashion and art - when it premiered at 2016 Copenhagen Fashion Week. For the project, Lindegaard worked with members of integration organization ITMV in Copenhagen to produce clothing items based on their favourite food dishes, Apiento and regular collaborator UK-based house producer LX, used the recorded interviews of their discussions as raw material with cut-up samples of the women's voices woven into the music for the runway show.
The result is an ethereal and avant-garde mix of crisp beats and featherlight percussion blended in a fresh and modern Oriental-flavoured Balearic groove packed with gorgeous flutes and kalimbas. The powerful dub on the flip-side brings a heavier more trippy feel geared firmly for the dancefloor.
As well as a string of great remixes and edits as Apiento, Paul Byrne is also well known for his behind-the-scenes work with labels like Junior Boy's Own, International Feel and DEEWEE, and for his highly influential blog Test Pressing.

Tummy Touch continues celebrating their 20th birthday with the next in a series of limited edition, 12" releases for DJs only.
NYC based producer and guitarist Bing Ji Ling aka Quinn Luke is known to many as a member of Phenomenal Handclap Band and Paqua (Claremont 56) but his solo work has been a staple part of DJ sets from the likes of Todd Terje, Prins Thomas and many others. On this release two of his songs have been thrown in to the echo chambers of bearded dub disco luminaries The Idjut Boys and Tim Love Lee !
