Jackie Brown is proud to have Italian jazz wizard Marcello Claudio Cassanelli on board. Marcello a jazz pianist, with master degree in jazz music at the G.B. Martini Conservatory, had a successful and well know contemporary jazz album « Overtour » from 2018, for which was well received from both audience and critics, such as Jazzit magazine.

Marcello, along with Antonio Rapa on drums and Blake C.S. Franchetto on the bass, recorded a jazz-funk EP for Jackie Brown, with strong influences of house and disco music. It's a five track EP, with A side tracks « Welcome » and « Shark » sound like IDs from Theo Parish funk and disco sets. B side holds three tracks, with slower tempo, but with swing and groove perfect for sunset chill.

As Electronic Music knows no creative boundaries, Spiral Deluxe is clearly a profound and convincing example of what is possible in the times we live in today. Traditionally, they would be considered a musical quartet. Each of the 4 members contributing to make a special joint effort - the meeting of minds from different spectrums of the musical sphere, but if you move in closer to examine how each have modified the way they communicate in order to play with each other, its astonishing because it shows a entirely new platform on how collaborating can be from now on. Spiral Deluxe is a pure as it gets ! A longtime vision of their drummer/percussionist and Jeff Mills - yes, that Jeff Mills ! Before becoming the world renown and groundbreaking DJ, producer and artist he is recognized for, he was a drummer in his youth, which carried on up until he began DJing in the late 1970s. Since then, he had always carried idea to get back to his musical roots. This longtime dream began to surface a few years ago when Mills was bestowed a 'white card' residency at the Museum du Le Louvre in Paris. It was there that he found the opportunity to form a band for one night and it opened the doors to a chance to materialize his dream. Since then, the formation has carefully evolved into one might describe as a 'super band' - a group of highly skilled musicians, working together to reach a higher level of creativity. For example, although members are using electronic instruments, there is no MIDI syncing connection.

Each plays their instrument un-attached as if any Jazz or Rock band would play together. Each having a vast amount of experience in live and studio projects, this release displays their wealth of skill and musical knowledge that comes from Jazz, Funk, Pop, Gospel, Detroit Techno and all forms of House Music.

Real Name, No Gimmicks.

In late 2015, Luca's debut 'Situations' first saw the light of day on Feines Tier. The EP was a whimsical fusion of his Hip-Hop roots with electric rhythms and mesmerizing boogie. Now, with his forthcoming third solo record 'Proper Preaching', he comes full circle.

Musto returns with a blend of handmade instrumental sound by his fellow musicians and that special dash of his notorious intricate groove. The record takes the listeners on a spiritual ride of revelations and hidden messages. Simultaneously, the four tracks deal with philosophical issues by telling stories of morality in 'Lucy's Intension,' the ambitions in 'State of Grind' and 'Lie To Me,' and finally faith in 'Proper Preaching.'

All of this is merged together by the use of samples as well as Luca's own recordings of words and atmospheres. Finally, the bigger picture is revealed, fueled by the eloquent subtext and the memory of the ones he lost.

Roy Ritsma AKA Drummotive is a Dutch DJ and producer. Like Next Phase Records he is mostly known for championing Drum and Bass but much like the label he is not afraid to stray away from the beaten track and explore other areas of breakbeat driven music.

The Coral EP' is a unique fusion drawing in uence from styles that were early inspirations to the producer. Elements of jazz, 90's electronica and 70's soul can be heard on the EP enriched by Roy's trade- mark sound of ethereal atmospheres, crisp breaks and sublime bass rhythms. Each track delicately constructed to create a feeling of enchantment and wonder.

Mystical horns, captivating vocals and entrancing Rhodes compliment the rich drum work that delivers a truly mesmerising soundscape.

The EP features four tracks (three mid tempo and one drum and bass) and will be available on both digital and vinyl formats.

The vinyl release is limited to 300 copies worldwide and is supplied in a full artwork sleeve designed by label owner R. Peperkamp. Long time friend of the label, Neue Grafik, steps forth with his most fully realised offering to date. This record has been a long time coming, born out of a encounter in Paris back in 2016. This meeting of minds led to a blossoming friendship between Fred ( Neue Grafik) and Bradley ( RS INTL) which has taken them across 3 continents, countless dance-floors and finally crystallised onto this 12'.

The record itself takes cues from the broken-beat sound of London while paying homage to the Parisian house dance scene. Largely sample based, but also employing much more live instrumentation than ever before, Neue Grafik's music is informed by movement and in turn offers so much for Dancers to respond to.

The EP begins with the lysergic ebbs and flows of 'Innervision', ( in which Wayne Snow graces the record with a sublime vocal performance) and moves effortlessly to the uplifting bruk of 'Dance to Yemanja' via the staccato of ' to Peckham Rye'( a homage to the labels origins) , before finishing on the hauntingly melancholic tones of 'Aulnay's Tears' - an homage to the victim's of police brutality in the Parisian Suburb in 2017.

Afro-Cuban Jazzdance House from the XXXV Edit series / Vinyl Only / limited to 150 copies

Italian duo Souldynamic are probably most known for their deep soulful house productions.
But this time they've taken aim at some of their fave Jazz-funk tunes and reworked them with a nudge towards the house community.

Rodney Franklin's classic 'Vibrations' and Franco Bixio's library anthem 'Break' both get superb house rubs, but without losing the organic & dynamic feel of the originals.

MASSIVE IN DEMAND 5 track EP from the one and only Floating Points, to be released on gatefold double vinyl, with spot varnish.

As well as brand new material the EP also features some of Floating Points oldest surviving tracks. This EP is part of a collaborative project between FP & long term friend Will Hurt who has created a Max/Msp patch which studies drum machine & synthesizer activity to generate visuals in real-time.

We are extremely happy to introduce you to Møzaika's first full-length record titled "Silver Tide". Its healing music has been a constant companion to us over the past two years. 2020 finally seems to be the right time to share it with the world. It is a wonderful album to be listened to as a whole - a continuous piece of music with many exciting turns showing the artist's close connection to nature as well as a deep knowledge of his musical ancestry.

pH 1 released his "Technicolor Vision" cassette album on Help Recordings in 2016, but is also part of the
group Hi Mount along with Central and DJ Sports. The three have released together on Regelbau. The
name pH 1 bear a less than subtle reference to the sound of acid, and his productions definitely reflects
early UK house and break beat with elements of acid jazz. He first crossed paths with Multiplex while
performing a live set in his hometown before Steen Kong was to DJ. The two quickly connected and we
are happy to welcome pH 1 to the Multiplex family.

Born and raised in Aarhus, Denmark but often traveling to UK where he also spent his teens. He started
playing guitar at age eight, but once he'd felt wax on a 1210, saved up for a pair of Technics.

His Lucid EP opens with "Time of Day" a beautiful house production, "Infinite Pressure" presents a deep,
cinematic journey, while "Bonafide Platter" is a playful, acidic tune. Titonton Duvanté delivered the
amazing Futurity EP for Multiplex in 1998 with four funky acid tracks, the perfect candidate to add to pH
1's universe. Titonton has remixed "Make Your Reality" on the B-side and the original mix of that track
gets the final word of the EP.

Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol 1 is the second release from Sampology’s new imprint. The Middle Name Dance Tracks project reflects standout live & club nights in Brisbane of recent years, where there has seen a steady cross pollination between the club and soul/jazz communities. The blurred line between these two musical worlds has delivered an array of diverse and joyful events for both artists and avid music fans.

This project is a collaborative creative effort between Sampology, Megan Christensen and Sam Stosuur. The recording process was live in nature with Megan on piano and keys, Sam Stosuur on bass/bass synth and Sampology on MPC drums and programming. Having live conga & timbale from Brisbane based Latin percussion staple Gus Cereiji glues the groove together. These sonic choices were inspired by listening to NYC early 80s disco labels, especially Prelude 12" releases, which balanced drum machine & synths as well as live studio musicians. Vocals on 'Only Joy' were recorded by Kerry Raywood. Vocals for 'Bless' come from Brisbane jazz vocalist Merinda Dias-Jayasinha. The combination of the Middle Name Dance Tracks trio and the additional Brisbane artists offers a specific music palette that’s live in essence, dancefloor in orientation, and magical in delivery.

Part 2 of the Limited Edition series on Club U Nite Records comes with 4 Deep House goodies produced in the '90s.Previously unreleased: First Goodie 'Free Your Mind' starts with awesome shuffle beats, classic house chords and some soulful samples. Second Goodie 'Wanna Take U For A Ride', an Old School Stomper from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol.3' - really takes u on a ride!

Third Goodie 'Baby Let It Cum' kicks off on the B side with pumping beats and warm organ bits - let it come into your heart! The Fourth Goodie ends this E.P. full of gold pieces with 'Special', a previously unreleased production by Irie Thomas. Deep, warm and soulful.

After releasing two solo albums and a couple of other label releases such as the new Twelve Inch Jams series, Jazz & Milk founder Dusty took some time to explore new territories including the sound and workflow of the MPC sampler - an incentive received while working on music together with labelmate Sam Irl.

As a result Dusty came up with two house jams on which he channels old samples and analogue synths with a hint of progressive but yet very melodic acid basslines.

While Brick starts off on a disco tip and slowly dips into a harmonic and deep 303 bassline groove, Don't You Worry on the flip introduces African rhythms with its percussive kalimba and conga patterns, warm synth chords and a groovy bass workout towards the end!

Tom Ellis delivers an incredible 4 track EP on this the latest instalment on the Dokutoku imprint. The British multi instrumentalist has supplied a delightfully diverse release with shades of house, minimal and techno all tied together with his trademark jazzy textures.

On the remix tip, Ashley Beedle ramps up the drums with a nod towards the classic sound of 90's New York and MAW releases and along with the 'Stripped Back' + 'Mixers Delight' edits, he adds an extra element of remix goodness for the heads. 'Rules of Monopoly' is proper late night tunage, perfect for those 5am sets, with its crisp handclaps + percussion, rising chords underpinned by an unwavering bassline - house music at it's very best. Originally from far flung Western Siberia, Mutenoise gravitated towards Moscow and became an integral part of the vibrant Russian electronic dance scene rubbing shoulders with the likes of Lay Far and fellow F*CLR artist, Stan Serkin. Without New Jersey native Kerri 'Kaoz' Chandler, house—specifically deep house—would sound very different. Ever since his teens he has been making and playing music with a unique sense of soul, jazz and deepness. From majors like Atlantic, King Street Sounds and Nervous via his own Madhouse, his releases are never short of genre-defining classics that have spawned a thousand copycats. Affectionately referred to as the Stevie Wonder of house, Kerri's DJ sets take him all over the world and often find him playing live keys next to his informed selections. He's meticulous about sound, too, which means that no-ones kicks hit quite like Kerri's.His instantly classic and timeless DJ-kicks mix, though, takes him out of the club and through a world of influences and inspirations. It's like me taking you for a walk in New York,' he says. Like a music tour guide, we go through Brooklyn, Soho, midtown, the Bronx and Uptown, and parts of New Jersey.' The resulting selection is an unhurried and very personal mixtape with blends, fades and cuts all allowing the music to do the talking. At various points throughout, we hear Kerri speaking into the mic, and that only adds to the feeling that you are sat in his living room as he pulls out all his favourite cuts. This time the young producer takes full control with his debut solo EP, "Caravella". The 4 tracks roll in the sweet return of Spring and the first rays of sun - Set off on a journey through rich melodies, merging House rhythms and Jazzy atmospheres.

The exploration starts with 'Caravella' the lead track of the release. Dreamy trumpet lines float you on the wind while the harmonious melody transports you through soothing atmospheres drenched with colourful jazz overtones.

Drifting into 'Assam', we're treated to a smoked out electro funk fusion. Electric guitars play against the pure backdrop created by the jazz flute while, this time, the trumpet drives home the lower frequencies, leading you through the psychedelic haze.

Turn the wheel and move towards warmer horizons with 'Le Désir' - tropical rhythms created by a cocktail of frenzied percussions, enhanced by the sun. 'Le Désir' exudes an aura of hypnotising sensuality.

International Feel's minialbum series. From their base in Los Angeles, intrepid musical voyagers Pharaohs have imagined a place far from the city for their first stand alone release on International Feel.

“Lost Reflections / Orientation” is a split album by Austrian beatmaker and producer Mr.Käfer. The LP consists of two digital EP’s: “Lost Reflections” (January 2019) and “Orientation” (Mai 2020). One year ago we released “Lost Reflections” a nine track mini-album by Mr.Käfer and Californian saxophonist Gavin Lord on tape and digital. Packaged with a great artwork by Berlin illustrator Rahel Süßkind (KO-OP, Money $ex Records). Since then Mr.Käfer did finish his music studies in Salzburg (Austria) and moved to Cologne (Germany) where he did an internship at Melting Pot Music. He has released two solo albums / EP‘s on Tape Invader and Chillhop Music and a collabo projects with Flitz&Suppe and DDob. With his new EP “Orientation” Mr.Käfer is stepping into new directions. Throughout five songs Mr.Käfer reflects on his North-African roots (he is half Austrian, half Algerian) and adds new sounds, vibes and tempi to his music. To orchestrate his vision Mr.Käfer has assembled a full band consisting of Makkako (guitar), Ruff I (double bass) and Christian Höll (saxophone). Christian Höll has also co-wrote and co-produced the EP together with Mr.Käfer. The visuals for “Orientation” have been created by UK artist Tilly Mint – best known for her artworks for Yazmin Lacey and C.Tappin.

More new members in the Toy Tonics family: JOEL HOLMES & CODY CURRIE joined the Berlin crew. They will release a couple of EPs.

You might know Joel Holmes: American jazz pianist and keyboard player who has been member of Roy Hargrove’s legendary Grammy nominated band, but also is part of Carl Craig’s synthesizer ensemble. Joel is living in Berlin now, where he is involved in the new vibrant Neo-Jazz scene. (Yes! Berlin used to be a Techno city, but it’s becoming kind of a Jazz town now!)
In Berlin Joel throws monthly jam sessions (the Urban Base Jam) where the creme de la creme of Berlin ex-pad jazz musicians meet up. Americans, Europeans... Crazy things can happen here. Like when Erykah Badu played Berlin in 2019 and her complete band came to jam at Joel’s session after their gig.

Joel now takes the next step: he teamed up with Cody Currie: 24 year old London born talent, who already made some waves in the house scene. Cody is known as a stylized producer, with a unique recognisable sound. Much of his craft was owned in studying a bachelors in music in London. His most known work by now might be a jazzy reinvention of ‘Devils Shoestring’ with over half a million plays on SC and YT. With his new works Cody is coming away from sampling, working only with live instrumentation.

Joel & Cody both live in Berlin now where they met Toy Tonics head honcho Mathias „Kapote“ Modica. And when they met there was a vibe. All three have their roots in jazz music share similar ideas about how dance-music should evolve and could sound in 2020. (In fact Kapote Modica studied jazz piano, too and has been playing in bands before getting into electronic music)

Joel & Cody are working in a great Berlin basement studio, at Cody’s home. Working on a new way of combining jazz-funk with real musicianship, MPC grooves and live instruments to get a new, fresh approach on dance music. And there will be a lot coming up in the next years

Comet Is Coming band leader Shabaka is back with The Ancestors on 'We Are Sent Here By History', follow-up to their 2016 breakout, 'Wisdom of Elders'.

The project was formed in early 2016, leading to their debut album later that year ‘Wisdom of Elders’; a document of sessions combining Hutchings with a group of South African jazz musicians he’d long admired. His connection to the group was Mandla Mlangeni (bandleader of the Amandla Freedom Ensemble), whom he’d flown there to play with over the past few years. ‘We Are Sent Here by History’ is a meditation on the fact of our coming extinction as a species. It is a reflection from the ruins, from the burning.

A questioning of the steps to be taken in preparation for our
transition individually and societally if the end is to be seen as anything but a tragic defeat. For those lives lost and cultures dismantled by centuries of western expansionism, capitalist thought and white supremist structural hegemony the end days have long been heralded as present with this world experienced as an embodiment of a living purgatory.
