'STEAL VYBE MUSIC' presents a remix project for the PEVEN EVERETT anthem “I FOUND INSIDE".

The second volume of Casa Voyager's compilation gathers the label's regulars OCB and Kosh, as well as two new artists: Polyswitch, coming straight from the shady streets of Casablanca and also known as the moroccan funkmaster, and Jamal, who comes from the moroccan diaspora in Europe and purveyor of post-futuristic electro beats, keeping the dutch-moroccan connection alive.

After having established Deep Inspiration Show Records on a foundation of deep-leaning house music EPs featuring the likes of Viktor Birgiss Freerotation Records/Lagaffe Tales, Marco Nega Altered Moods/Waehlscheibe and Theory Of Movement Dan Piu & Grant, our next move was obvious; to champion an album of instrumental hip-hop and jazz-inspired beats and flavas from Germany. But, honestly, the opportunity to release Lost Souls, the outstanding new project from Roberto Bronco, was too good to miss. Featuring ten soul-warming tracks of chilled, downtempo and supremely laid-back vibes from the experienced Bielefeld artist, mastered deftly as ever by the one and only Sven Weisemann, the question should not be is it deep but rather is it great? We think so.

Danny Krivit is currently known as one of the music community’s greatest purveyors of top quality disco & house as he continues to perform regularly before sold-out audiences around the world. With his unique ear for what works on the dancefloor he has also become known as “King of the Re-edit.”

Kerri Chandler “Rain” is well-established as one of the defining vocal house productions from Kerri Chandler. With Kerri’s unique singing / scatting vocal performance “Rain” has continued to be a peak hour DJ favorite since its original 1998 release as the B side of his Mood EP on Nervous Records.
Danny masterfully brings those elements that have always received the biggest dancefloor response. The B-side is Danny’s edit of the 2013 remix by another equally well-respected leading talent in the worldwide house music community… namely AtJazz.

“To finally become oneself: that was the lesson, in the 1960-1970s, that European musicians attracted to improvisation had learned from American free-jazz. Following this idea, the musicians of Perception, whilst individually accompanying Mal Waldron, Slide Hampton, Johnny Griffin or Hank Mobley when they played in Paris, decided early on to break free from what was going on across the Atlantic and seek their own authenticity.

When Mestari, their third and final album, came out, Yochk'O Seffer, Siegfried Kessler, Didier Levallet and Jean-My Truong had four years of questing and originality behind them developing their own individual language. A language in which the spontaneity of the improvisations did not exclude influences taken from European folk or classical traditions.

Balanced, ethereal and structured, Mestari was a return to the original core quartet (the previous album included numerous guest musicians). It opens infinite perspectives and is totally in phase with what was being produced in France at the same time by Cohelmec Ensemble and the Dharma Quintet.”

Hailing from one of the world’s most famous harbours, Rotterdam, a true multicultural melting-pot, the music by 6-piece band called the Greyheads mirrors the daily life of this busy city. They approach jazz from a hip-hop point of view, or hip-hop from a jazz point of view, always carefully adding a perfect dose of other influences (all the members are heavily influenced by artists like Miles Davis, J Dilla, Herbie Hancock and Robert Glasper) with an exciting, groovy and vibrant tone.

After having self-released their debut EP "GREYHEADS × KYTOPIA" in 2017, they recently finished recording "HOMES", their first full length album.

Led by drummer Nello Biasini, this truly international band of like minded musicians was formed in 2016 and have since been busy creating their own, fresh and unique sound. 'Homes' is a journey through space and time, travelling in opposite but jointed paths that lead to the places we call home. The concept of the record is to carry the listener to experience what every place and time can in any way, represent home, characterized by different atmospheres, sounds, images and sensations.

As the title suggests 'On Flute' shows us how diverse Tenderlonious's musicianship is as he embellishes each song with his signature flute sound. 'Ghana' sets the pace of the record with up-tempo afro beats, complimented by keys, strings, a distinctive lead synth and of course a soaring flute solo. 'Autumn Leaves' follows with a more UK broken-beat flavour, revealing a darker sense of atmosphere. Side A closes with 'Oedo Bushi,' a comparatively stripped back tune, a simple conga rhythm with flute and xylophone solos weaving in and out as if in conversation with each other.

Side B starts strong and steady with 'Song For My Father', an upbeat number fusing funk and disco to create the perfect dance floor filler that builds to a climax with one of Tenderlonious's wild flute solos (one of my personal favourites!). 'In A Sentimental Mood' follows and, as the title suggests, shows the listener how this producer came by his name. Tender flute inflections and sensitive lead synths, backed by quiet whispers make this the perfect accompaniment to an intimate candle lit dinner. The EP finishes with 'Dale's Corner,' another broken feel on this one with delayed Rhodes supported by tasteful flute lines throughout - it leaves the listener feeling uplifted and wanting more.

A Vision Of Panorama continues his synth exploration, expanding his vision towards new synthesizer motifs and dreamy chords on a vast array of late night cosmic g-funk grooves, modern funk and boogie inspired tracks. This time covers a different spectrum of sounds and atmospheres which merge to form a harmonious whole that can stands on territories of accomplished future soul, jazz and funk. Distinctly deeper and visibly more emotive deep house than just a technique of smooth Balearic instrumentation.

Legendary Italian house/deep house DJ and producer Don Carlos based in Varese, North Italy. Active since the late 70s. His productions have mixing house rhythms with afro-american jazz sounds, verging sometime towards disco, sometime towards deep house or electronic soul. There's a similarly warm and hazy feel to second cut "Analog Express", where a nagging bassline and chillin' beats come wrapped in sunrise-ready electronics, toasty chords and more cut-up old school jazzy house. Throw in some refreshingly positive synthesizer flourishes of the kind once found in Italo-house records and you've got another tried-and-tested winner. Elegant, well produced classic deep house with sensual jazzy and smooth synth elements that sound really good on any equipment. All of the tracks on this EP are quality for anyone into deep house and quality club music in general.

Sisyphon is ready to return to the scene with a new compilation paying tribute to the Sisyphos Wintergarten. The musical style ranges from traditional deep house moving towards experimental

Kaidi Tatham returns to 2000black with his unmistakable sound.
'You Find That I Got It' shows Kaidi's ability to mix soul,jazz and dance all together harmoniously. Its that mid tempo stepper that goes rock steady. On the b-side 'Mjuvi' is THAT cheeky groove that shows Mr Tatham's unique ability to groove off beat on time inside.

22a label founder, multi-instrumentalist and producer Tenderlonious continues to evolve away from his recent jazz projects and delve further into the world of house and electronic beats.
This is his most club orientated release to date, yet he still manages to capture the essence of his live instrumentation. Detroit techno via Woking and South London!

Chillum Trio started out as a collective of like-minded musicians in 2002, however, after releasing an album together (which was supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier) the project slowly become the solo act of founding recording producer, Geza Szekeres.
At that time he discovered West-African music, latin jazz and the universe of soul and funk, these new directions have been shaping his musical evolution ever since.

In 2014 he turned out as one of the winners of Gilles Peterson's Havana Cultura remix contest that gave him the opportunity to travel to Havana and record music with the creme of the Cuban jazz scene.
One of his songs recorded in this session got released on Brownswood Recordings compilations Havana Cultura Mix and Havana Cultura Anthology.

In 1989, Steve Kirby and Kevin Finch recorded the 4AM project which they pressed privately on vinyl, limited to 300 copies which sold out quickly to friends and family in the UK upon the albums release. The balearic master piece is a wild and funky 40 minute travel through home made, british synth-pop, electro-jazz, spacey computer funk and proto house cuts with AOR-y vocals put together in the Susurreal studio by Steve Kirby and Kevin Finch in 1989.

Tokyo-based Far East Recording artist Shinichiro Yokota opens the '5 Years Anniversary Series 02' with 'I Know You Like' a harkening back to the days of soulful, musical house courtesy of jazzy synth lines, warm chords and choppy bass running alongside a swinging drum groove and vocal hooks uttering the track's title.

The Mole follows on the flip side with 'A Simple Day', turning in a typically raw and funkinfused workout via dusty drum sounds, looped guitar licks, warbling low-end tones and an underlying psychedelic feel that always makes The Mole's tracks unique. Following from Deetron's accomplished entry in to the DJ-Kicks mix series, !K7 are now serving up one of the original singles from it. Produced by the Swiss artist and featuring soul futurist Steve Spacek, it comes with the original and three vital versions. Entitled 'Chose Me', the single is six tender minutes of musical electronic soul. Warm and supple bass, twinkling keys and smeared chords form the atmosphere as Spacek delivers a dreamy and heartfelt vocal up top. It's a track to get the spine tingling, while the Instrumental allows the celestial keys to ring out into a night sky as the main focal point. On the Jupiter Version, the drums are more loose and broken up, lending a spaced out vibe that will be perfect on outdoor terraces as the weather warms up. Jumbled percussion tumbles next to the chords as the vocal soars. A Jupiter Instrumental closes out this cosmic and cultured house EP.

Singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Desmond Coke's supremely rare, privately pressed, lo-fi, synth-soul fusion, Let's Chase The Sun is represented here in edited form. Painstakingly remastered from the original tapes, this self taught pianist, drummer and sax player condensed his musical experiences and dreams in to an opus on love and togetherness.

Desmond Coke alias 'Fatfingers' - named by fellow musicians due to improvisation and interpretation skills - began playing keyboards by ear at 15 and went on to a music career playing with the likes of Alton Ellis, Prince Fari, Barrington Levy, Dillinger, Don Cherry and Shara Nelson, as well as a gamut of the On-U Sound label's projects, including Creation Rebel, Dub Syndicate, Singers & Players and Mark Stewart + Maffia.

With an interest in reggae, dub, jazz, soul, meringue, gospel and garage, his sole album was a true fusion to create a brand new sound. Composed, arranged and produced by Coke, he worked with an array of seasoned musicians, including his own sisters Winifred (percussion / vocals) and Paulette Coke (percussion / DX-7 & M1 synthesisers).

Pressed on his own Saterlite Entertainments in 1989, Coke describes the album's purpose, "to get the message across to have focus, ambition, to dream and 'chase the sun'. That relationships are important, 'I need somebody' and naturally the chemistry is 'you and me'. Great relationships are about friendships and that it's ok to 'mesmerise a friend'. The most natural thing is to enjoy each other's company and to 'make a love child'. These good intentions and meanings, where love is the key." Some thirty years later Desmond's thoughts are as resonant today as then - Let's Chase The Sun.

The next release have a fusion with two great artists. "Mateo Dufour" join the keyboards and "Bs As deep" gives rhythm, percussions and bass. We believe that this mix will create an exquisite house music with late 90´s dyes.

London based Prescription Pricing Authority returns to GAMM with another 7" monster.
With heavy doses of soul, funk and jazz infected disco this beautifully designed release delivers on both sides.

A side's Pick'em Up is a real disco thumper with big horns and powerful vocals that just works.
The B side delivers a mid 70-s jazz-funk rework that will definitely get the jazz dancers moving.

Dean Zepherin is truly a producer who has managed to find his lane and appeal.
Born and raised in London - a suitably eclectic city for a man of his musical persuasion - he is renowned for his consistently genre-pushing productions.
In other words, a perfect match for Local Talk, a label not afraid to go beyond the classic 4/4 sound and explore different styles within house music.

Opening track Blue Moon is an organic, warm and enveloping chunk of deep house bliss and there's no doubt that Dean loves his house served with with plenty of horns.
Next up is Flying High, a jazzy uptempo house cut smothered in expansive percussions, trading organ and trumpet solos over elastic synth lines.

Music that speaks to the senses

Fresh of their most busy year actively djing in Milan and across Europe, Ayce Bio, Turenne and Borbo are ready to launch a new Ep: One track each + a Remix by Bologna's finest producer and vinyl collector DJ Rou.

Funclab records runs a monthly show on Rocket Radio and a club night at Apollo club, inviting al- ways different dj's and producers to share the decks with them, among others they played with San Proper, Boo Williams, Eclair Fifi and Pangea.

After the first release 'House al dente', they spent one month during the summer touring with a van around Europe to promote the vinyl, going to their favourite radios and vinyl stores to bring it personally, ending at Barrakud festival in Croatia in front of two thousand people with a dj set and set design.

The collective is the real strength behind the newborn record label, collaborating with a lot of local producers they're always working on new things, in the next few months they are going to release also a various and other two eps.
