The title track on side A is a pure formula of kinetic energy without any impurities and complications. As long as Newton's laws are in place, such compositions will always embody the brightest moments of parties.

The second side has transparency and lyrics in "Prime Philosophy", but the rhythm and groove keeps us dancing.

"Bubble Bridge" is a more conceptual atmosphere, but at the same time everything is extremely rhythmic and technological in terms of modern sound design.

Following on from the well-received release of Toc De Breaks earlier this year, Spanish duo JP Sunshine and Guim return with a full collaborative EP, Toc De Jaume, released on Steel City Dance Discs.

Coordinating a masterful blend of funk-infused instrumentals, melodic breakbeats and acid-tinged basslines, Toc De Jaume is unique in its character, which bears its defining traits from its two creators, JP Sunshine and Guim, whose partnership is nothing newfound, yet, in light of this EP, feels as fresh as ever.

Toc De Jaime contains a vast variation of sounds within its entirety, from the funky, acid dripped breakbeat of La Fiesta, which was released earlier this year, to tracks like JP Sunshine’s I Want To Stay, released in 2020, which offer a more melodic, feelgood aspect to this EP, and the sound of both artists as a whole.

Through Toc De Jaime, JP Sunshine and Guim present an EP that feels like an ode to the sounds of their shared native homeland; sounds which the duo manipulate and rework within the confines of an electronic dance music context, resulting in a perfect marriage of diverse sounds.

After a covid induced hiatus, London mainstays Thoma Bulwer and Dexter Kane return in style on their Alternate Facts imprint. Here can be found four expertly crafted, analogue laden, stripped-back rollers, including a collaboration with long time pal and man of the moment Claus Voigtmann.

Fresh off its first release, for its second, Unison Wax presents three introspective and moody yet tightly wound studies in deep garage house.
A1
The A-side is a heavily restrained excursion that rests on the boundary between underwater-level deepness and a dry fineness akin to being dragged through a beach. Both playful and menacing in the same breath, it's all crisp handclaps layered with whip-cracking kicks, pops and hats, underscored by a hypnotic, swaying bass line. Spacey, aggressive synths and a coiling radio-static-meets-guitar-chug sample occupy the upper levels, but this really is a simple, tooly, fine deep garage track perfect for building things up and knocking things down.
B1
If the A side was on the beach, then B1 emerges from the water. A pulsar and a simple kick greet you before a reverbed funky pluck and a rolling bass do the legwork. Subtle, dubby and driving, the watery aspect gets counterpoised by dry hats and a sparse and lonely cry of a pad, somewhere, far off in the distance. Contemplative yet playful yet dark and another 4 AM affair.
B2
B2 is warmer and looser, focused on elemental percussive drives that shake themselves into centre stage. A bass line that gets forced back is then finally released and realised through swelling pads that wave themselves in, while a phaser calls out above it all, at liberty and intermittently. B2 = builder to early morning sunrises.

Josh Baker has proven himself adept at crafting the sort of tracks that manage to stand out from the crowd and that's exactly what he does here with a new EP on Burnski's always excellent Constant Black label. Title track 'Sometimes Cap' kicks off and is a loose but driving cut with snares flapping away over lovely drum funk. 'Some Of That' gets its head down and heads on into the night with eerie pads and acid gurgles next to paranoid vocal mutterings. 'Repeat Business' then gets buys on more tight drum programming and fresh sound design and last of all, 'Chesire Badger' picks up the pace with a spooky cosmic vibe.

Octave One's deep and downtempo album “Never on Sunday” arrives in late April 2023. Before that, they release a special reworking of the album single “The Bearer”. Injected with the spine-tinglingly vocal performance from Karina Mia, the Burden Brothers revisit the track with a stripped sultry production ready for dance floors and playlists alike. Leading up to their new collection of deep rhythmic journeys and thoughtful atmospheric material, the ‘Brother’s Burden Pt1’ mix is a soulful mid-tempo groove that introduces you to Octave One’s “Never on Sunday” album in fine style.

Capturing the spirit that underlies dance music in its various forms; the atmosphere of the early raves; the carefree attitude; the lack of prejudices both on the stage and on the dancefloor; the ecstatic moments shared with strangers from all walks of life, united together by the primordial force called the rhythm. Faciendo have been sharing this ethos with the world for many years, moved by the one and only endless energy which is the love for music. It comes then as the next natural step forward, the creation of a label through which to continue this mission.

For the first release, Scott Featherstone provides two original productions that pervade exactly by the same values and feelings that move Faciendo, carrying the zeitgeist of the early days of dance culture, untouched, into this millennium. This debut EP, “Vinaloop”, does exactly that, the title track is an energetic and upliftinging dance floor hammer, ode to the original summer of love with its positive and spiritual attitude. On the flip side finds the sublime and emotive “Lifeflows” another long lost gem found on DAT by Scott recently, it sounds like an early slice of electronic detroit soul, but true to Scotts energetic style, always with the right elements to move a dance floor. Completing the EP is a lush grooving remix from man of the moment Taylor Freels, aka Urulu and Liquid Earth.

At the beginning of the ‘90s a new music wave was emerging in Italy. Inspired by an innate sense of freedom and experimentation and fuelled by the turmoil of the club scene and record shops, a generation of Italian DJs and producers envision the sound of the future.

Going further into connecting Two Generations, distant yet neighbouring: the one that blazed the trail in the early nineties and the one that continues to follow it today. A new volume animated by the same spirit and attitude as the first one: not a nostalgic or commemorative operation, but a propulsive thrust for a possible evolution.

In continuity with the first part of the project, ‘Ciao Italia. Underground Generations - Volume 2’ surfs between the past, present and future, delving further into the origins of an era whose sounds and atmospheres remain an endless source of inspiration today. Artists who were often forced to use multiple aliases, a story that still sounds incredibly current and that has had the merit of breaking that stereotype of xenophilia of which our country is an undying victim. Much more than just a "scene" it can be described as a mental state, a lifestyle, marked by unifying electronic pulsations, exotic and dreamy, ecstatic and liberating.

The collection, of which a second double volume is expected before the end of the year, cherry picks another selection of seminal producers of that all-Italian golden age. Alongside this, it includes productions from some of the new ‘Underground Generation’, ideally inspired by the iconic sound of that time, but at the same time kaleidoscopic and ultra-contemporary. Evidence of an avant-garde that is bright and alive not only in memories, but even now more than ever, in the tracks produced by the likes of Baia Club (Whodamanny, Walter Del Vecchio and Dario Bassolino), Cosmo, Donato Dozzy & Rumi, Lorenzo Morresi and many more.

Once again, while the record slides under the needle, the hope is to be able to capture that magnetic atmosphere and regain possession of it for a few moments, clinging to the indomitable charm of the ‘underground’ grooves. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Label owners Luca & Stefano aka “Souldynamic” are back with a full 4 tracks project on Excedo Records.

Cosmic Trails was arranged during lockdown, while they both could be totally immersed in the studio, creating and experimenting new atmospheres. So here comes the EP and tracks title, a journey the artists made while they couldn’t be part of society and while they imagined an adventurous space trip.

The second release dives through different genres without forgetting the main core of the label which is Italian House Music.
This collection was entirely produced by young and talented Italian artists. Italian Weapons are always looking for sounds from the Italian house scene, allowing their artists to travel back to these golden age sounds.

ITWVA002 Includes 4 tracks carefully selected by the Italian Weapons label. Owned by Niccolo Turini and Gunther Mian. These tracks were mastered by Michele Mucci of Nachtkerzestudio Berlin. And designed by Matteo Mangano. The second various artist ranges through all the nuances of Italian house music including Balearic sounds produced by artists located throughout the country and beyond.

Rise Music label head Floyd Lavine delivers some groovy afro house bliss right in time for spring!

The Acid Series celebrates over 10 years of No Way Back, with music that directly references that experience. This is the third volume in the series, to be followed by BMG & Derek Plaslaiko, and there will be four more after this pair, with records by Tin Man & Ectomorph, Dona, Romans, and Pervocet (Patrick Russell & Jasen Loveland) yet to come. They all arrive in a unique sleeve especially created for this series, inspired by the decorations of NWB. Jordan Zawideh's music perfectly reflects his personal migration from Detroit to Chicago. It somehow combines the raw elegance of a Larry Heard demo (listen to the demos of "A Path" or "Acid Dreams" and cry) with Detroit Techno and an unconscious take on the sonic exploration of Drexciya, showcased in songs like "Magellanic Cloud" and "Trails of Sophia". In Jordan's sound, the raw power of the cassette era of Chicago House combines with a Detroit Acid Dream. His debut record was on K Starke Records in 2014, and while he was working at the store,
the concept for "No One (Jacks The Box)" came together. Kevin Starke proposed a concept for a collaboration, using an old Chicago radio ad, so Jordan borrowed a 303 & 707 from Kevin and some gear from Beau Wanzer, but Kevin never made the session. Ultimately we had master editor Gay Marvine edit this instant lost classic. Jordan has also released on the Nation box set, and is part of the No Way Back family. Jordan lives like a monk, in total dedication to learning his machines and advancing his craft. He is also an accomplished DJ. BMG on his edit of "Magellanic Cloud" - this is my fantasy version of this jam, its so lost in it, like a cool mature Chicago take on Gerald's jam for the Silicon Ghetto series on Accelerate, or Mika Vainio's "Spirality".

Sebastian Mullaert returns to Siamese! After his two hypnotizing remixes for their own 'Patterns of Eternity' Adriatique are welcoming Mr. Trip for a full EP. 'Lightship 612‘ & 'Is Waves‘ are both forward thinking, spacy & melodic journeys through sound showcasing Sebastian’s full range of skills.

As we mentioned before, Siamese will not just be a platform for beautiful music but should also a playground for different kinds of art. As you might have already noticed, our artworks are images of hand-crafted pieces and with this Various Artists EP we are taking things one step further. Every track gets its very own artwork and all four artworks will be included as 30x30cm sized prints inside the first run of the vinyl! The A1 cut 'Something In Between' by ourselves is starting off this EP. Right about one year ago when we worked on a first attempt of our debut album we didn't quite came to an end a few tracks stayed with us. This is one of them and we felt the intro character of it is a good way to lead into this series. A2 is delivered by our close friend and partner Lehar who teamed up with Olderic, a respected DJ, producer and promoter from north Italy who is around since quite a while (check out his Cirq club in Venice). Their contribution 'Il Sole' follows the melodic route initiated by 'Something In Between'. On the flip side we finally get the chance to introduce Shiffer, a young and very talented musician from Basel. 'Drunk On Hope' demonstrates groove, emotion, depth and much more that makes it the perfect pick for B1. Watch out for more to come from him on Siamese! Closing the EP on B2 is ‚Monkey Mind' by Toto Chiavetta. 2016 was a great year for Toto, what an awesome album on Yoruba followed by a trippy-afro-house Record on Innervisions. 'Monkey Mind' continues exactly there, straight forward Groove without any compromises.

A1 “Realtime Bounce” gets things moving with slick tribal-house rhythms, fevered exhortations and a folder-full of stabs: not stopping for breath yet still keeping it deep. Bouncy and boisterous “Palladium” marries the sacred resonance of the S900 with undulating sub-bass squelch, making it a certified winner in rooms of all shapes and sizes. Pure momentum!

GN03’s flip side continues to deliver sustained bang for your hard-earned buck, with the oily, viscous grooves of “Moonshine” tumbling into your lugholes to deliver a fast-paced and dynamic tech-house cut. In 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic, Gene On Earth created his production masterclass “Nuggets: The Blueprint”. This is the fifth release of a collection of works submitted by students shortly after finishing the course. The class of 2022 overcame expectations and birthed a digital compilation and 5 vinyl releases to come out during 2023. Nug-Net will continue to be a home for music written by course students

For the ninth release on Flat White Records, we welcome U.S based producer, rapper, singer and all-around artist, VRGO.

Located in Alabama, Anthony Jamal (VRGO) takes pride in basing his music on feelings and emotions, rather than targeting specific genres and audiences. Something that can be felt in his productions.

Just to keep the listeners on their toes, FW009 strays slightly from the usual sound of Flat White Records as the record features two original Hip Hop productions.

These are followed up by a more “true to form” raw house jam to complete what is a very versatile A Side.

On the flip are remixes by fellow Alabama resident, Byron The Aquarius as well as label boss, Flat White Chris. Some tracks from this EP will feature on a larger LP by VRGO in the near future, so keep your ears peeled.

After ten years 12 Inch Lovers has become a household name not only because of their parties but also because of the fantastic vinyl samplers they released over the past few years, which were sold out in no time and have become true collector's items.

They now continue in the same vein and once again bring a fresh and contemporary mix of hard to find, original house classics or even classics that never had a vinyl release.

These samplers should therefore not be missing from any 12 Inch Lovers collection.

Sampler 5 begins with the breakthrough record from Norwegian producer "Finnebassen". "If You Only Knew" was a big hit for him in 2012, the record was best known for that hypnotic Aaliyah sample used throughout the entire track. A2 brings the very rare remix of this uber classic "The Sound Of Violence" by "Cassius". The "Franco Cinelli" remix is a very successful approach to this classic.

On B1 we find a real anthem. "World Cup" by "Kiko" is a delightful classic from 1999 but to this day it is impossible to imagine today's DJ sets without it. B2 then brings the delicious "Still In The Groove" from "Reckless", of course in that famous "Def Offenders" remix.

"Phil Fuldner" is still very active as a DJ and producer today. You can find his dreamy "Lights Off" from 2010 on C1. And speaking of dreams. "Winter" by "Aril Brikha" is another incredible classic that should definitely not be missed in your collection.

On D1 we find the Australian and headstrong singer "Sia" with her classic "The Girl You Lost On Cocaine", but in that fantastic and hard to find "Stonebridge Vocal" mix.

Last on Sampler 5 we dive back into the nineties with the memorable club classic "Closer" by "Liquid" on D2.

Unbelievable! The lost LORIZ SOUNDS number 10 from 1996, with a stamped edition limited to 150 copies!


Loriz Sounds was the first label of Chris Wallner aka Chris Rhythm and at the same time the first electronic house and techno label of the 90s from Vienna. At that time Loriz Sounds had taken the Detroit house and techno sound as a template and had some great releases like "the Journey ep" by Chris Rhythm & POT, the "summerbreeze" by SLUT'S N STRINGS & 909, or the "acid nation ep" by K Hand.


DJ Bonerider aka Jochen Reiter aka Johnny Armando Rider was a musician from Austria with closer New York contacts. (Hollis Haus Records and Tension Records) Early trips from Vienna to Rimini in the Italian clubs of the Riviera resulted in the photo (Cocorico) of Chris, who brought Jochen together with the Italian producer Gemoloto and other Italian labels at the time, resulting in several releases. (Models Inc, DBX records) For the release on LORIZ SOUNDS, Chris planned to have an edible record version made out of wafer or something similar. With the demise of the then distributor of the Neuton label, this penultimate last release unfortunately came to nothing. However, there was a limited vinyl version that was never offered. After more than 25 years this version is now exclusively available at Word And Sound and 3345 Distribution. The great deep, groovy sound of DJ Bonerider was ahead of its time and is still club-ready today. We wish you a lot of fun!

Marc Romboy presents his upcoming album "Voyage de la planète' his first solo full-length production in over eight years. Released on his newly launched Hyperharmonic label, Voyage de la Plantète signifies an exciting new chapter for Marc as he experiments with his sound - pushing the boundaries between classical and electronic music to create both an emotional and atmospheric experience.


The first impression of this new sound can be heard on album opener forerunner 10" "Monde futuriste" (February 17th 2017) which blends together beautiful strings and soft flittering synths. "Jules Verne" named after the French science fiction writer, combines echoing arpeggios and a subtle woodwind harmony to create a cosmic soundscape. Whilst "Atome de danse", "Symphonie oblique" and "La machine du temps" use elegant strings to further enhance an unearthly effect, title track "Voyage de la planète" mixes the two mediums together with fluttering synths and somber strings before "La lune et l'étolie" builds introduces the bustling sound of the piano to create an upbeat melody.


Whilst there is a strong classical influence, there are tracks on the album that reference Marc's electronic background. This can be heard in

"L'univers étrange", which has an ambient sound, whilst pitched-down chords take "L'universe parallèle" to a dark and moody space.
"Phénix" is a bass-driven track, layered with crashing synths, taking the journey to a high before the celestial experience draws to a close on an uplifting note with "Nocturne" a laid-back soothing track that exudes optimism and wonderment.
Inspired by a concert with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra where he performed Claude Debussy works in a contemporary way, "Voyage de la planète' signifies the start of a new chapter for Marc Romboy. Combining the strange, fascinating sounds of electronic music with the sublime beauty of classical music to create an extraordinary sonic experience for the listener.
