Bulgarian techno wizard, live maestro and generally raucous groove maker KiNK is behind an excellent remix which goes for Detroit styled, hi tech and soulful enriched sounds with glistening synths and futuristic atmospheres.

Diynamic label boss and global house icon Solomun then flips the original into a real party starter, with chopped chords, icy hi-hats and old school energy that is colourful and playful in equal measure.

New to the package is a Roland Leesker Acid Strings Edit from Get Physical's always on point Creative Director. His deep, driving, late night version is perfect for waking things up, with busy 303 and splashes of hi hat all arresting your attention.

The first release of NEW LABEL Florklang is split EP which created by a Japanese and an European producers who are actively outstanding from last couples years. This EP contains two tracks. One is by Japanese Artist Humandrone who creates acid sounds with rich in originality that has been released by European label such as Snuff Trax, Burek and more. This time from Florklang presents (Rizing Field) by Humandrone recorded one and only sounds of analogue synthesizer that attached importance to raw sounds. Literally it had been recorded only

(inhale deeply) We continue to unfold our record label with a release from a mysterious New York City-born artist we have only known for a short time now yet who we admire and whose personality and uncomplicated way of being inspired us and motivated us to dig up his phone number, pluck up all our courage and dial the Berlin area code to ask if he had anything to add to the Basic Moves story. (exhale) As you might have guessed, the answer was positive and slowly, little by little, the elements of Basic Moves 05 began to assemble.

A year later, we had found the two horizontal techno tracks we were looking for. After our previous adventures of more ornament-focussed dance music we wanted to send a well-adjusted rhythm into the music stratosphere. Although Forgive and Not Knowing are clearly rooted in US techno and early minimal house, these tracks prove that roots tend to keep growing below the surface and that any new growth is proportionate to its groundwork.

Of course, we could try to pin down the effect of these balanced, layered compositions as much as we like with words but actually, their bright secret can only really be felt in sound and movement (loud, dancing). Walrus & Islas, Brussels, 2018

A tribute to the late Kenny Hawkes, London's dark lord of house music. Lovingly selected and curated by Luke Solomon, Jonny Rock and Leon Oakey.

Running from 1995 to 2002, 'Space' was a Wednesday night founded by Kenny Hawkes and Luke Solomon. It inhabited the underground world of Bar Rumba right in the heart of London's West End and took place each and every week. Kenny and Luke had both been regular fixtures on infamous London Pirate Radio station 'Girls FM', and were seeking a suitable place to play the kind of music they supported on their respective radio shows. They were presented with a weekly opportunity at Bar Rumba and snapped it up.

'Space' was THE place for 7 solid years, hosting local and international guests from the house music community week in week out, to 200+ hardcore and dedicated followers. Regular guest bookings read like a 'who's who' of the music scene with sets from Derrick Carter, Andrew Weatherall, DJ Harvey, Tom Middleton, A Man Called Adam, Ralph Lawson and Huggy, Harri and Domenic, Francois Kevorkian, Salt City Orchestra, Carl Cox, Chez Damier and Ron Trent.... the list goes on and on and on! Music from seminal record labels such as Classic, Prescription, Cajual, Paper, Relief was played on rotation amongst a killer mix of Disco classics, alternative 80s music, left-field B-sides and techno. The night undeniably became a cauldron of amazing music and midweek hedonistic chaos.

As Soho changed beyond recognition and clubbing moved Eastwards, Kenny and Luke decided to call it a day. Sadly, Kenny Hawkes died in 2011, leaving a huge hole in the dance music community. Kenny was a legendary figure with an unmistakable sound and DJ style, he had a warped sense of humour and a huge personality and he continues to be dearly missed by all to this day.

As a tribute to Kenny, his musical partner in crime Luke Solomon alongside 'Space' regular and DJ / Editor supreme Jonny Rock, and former Classic Records label boss Leon Oakey have joined forces to celebrate his life through music. 3 years of tweaking, pooling music and clearing tracks have culminated in 2 very special double albums and a digital compilation. A collection of 'Space' classics, underground jams and the tracks that shook the Shaftesbury Avenue dance floor, shaping one of London's most revered midweek sessions.

All profits from the compilation will be donated to the British Liver Trust.

Mui Mui Records returns with its second 12’’ release, this time coming courtesy of John Manhard who delivers four fresh original cuts.

The San Diego, California based producer and DJ/Producer has been steadily making a name for himself over the past few years with material surfacing on Karla and Barann’s Belgian imprint sous:sol records and the Matt Foley and Clovis helmed Understory in recent years. Here we see Manhard’s story continue with his latest collection of tracks finding a home on the fledgling Mui Mui Records out of London, launched in 2021 with an EP by Bernard and accompanied by remixes from Harry Wills and Silverlining.

Kalabrese still manages to produce timeless music. While working on his next album he deals with everyday occurrences which he self reflects and reinterprets. Kalabrese delivers an EP full of groove, rumpel and message.

Music Theraphy was born In the heart of The Old Town of Ibiza, providing fine music with the philosophy of trying to express abstract art from underground music.

With the amazing voices of the artists "Los Hermanos" recorded in 2007, LUISURIA was behind the production this complete mystical release, featuring the amazing remixes from Randolph (DO), Carlos De La Ruiz from Chile and Stiven Escarraga from Armenia.

This release will have you dancing and crying at the same time. On his debut album, Paris-based producer and founder of the "raw poetry" aesthetic Loyce Demellier - AKA DJ Physical - takes us on a fast-paced journey through techno, electro, breaks and more. Whilst the music's indisputable home is the club, Physical teases out moments of playfulness and sentimentality amongst hard-hitting electronics.

"Silver Lake" LP resides on the colder, more industrial side of Demellier's sonic spectrum, following on from his latest release on London imprint 10 PILLS MATE which saw him depart from the more lofi quality of his previous releases in favour of a raw, club-focused sound. On the A-side, Demellier situates the release within the context of old warehouse raves, with euphoric acid melodies and a 140BPM propulsion ("Uranium"): and high-pitched synth stabs that ascend from darkness ("Gold Mines").

The B-side maintains the pace, but this time it's about electro and breaks. On "Overshoot", reverberating cymbals add another layer of depth to Amen break interludes whilst "Lawbreaker" harnesses a cheekier tone, offering respite from the previous tracks' venom. This air of playfulness sticks around on "Lunatic State" helped by MPC drum claps and a ludic electro melody, before fellow Parisian Ika Sile steps up for "Early Sprinter" and "Bootybounce": the former offering a slicker take on acid techno and the latter: rave music at its absolute with piano stabs and sleazy vocal chops. On the "In Between Reality E.P." Noema invites you to an unheard psychedelic trip: Like through a reverse prism, he melts down Kraut Rock, Afro-American House drums and cosmic Jazz into forbidden sounds of frenzied dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths, these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

'With its roots in Leipzig, Bondage-Music has developed a cogent back catalogue which draws on the principles of Romanian minimalism whilst evincing a certain verve prevalent across dance floors in Berlin and further afield. Previous releases from Mihai Popoviciu, Pornbugs and NTFO, have woven a clear thread within the catalogue - a thread defined by the adroit use of distilled elements.  
Adding to this thread with the next release on Bondage-Music is the masterful producer Sascha Dive. Based in Frankfurt and with releases stretching back to 2005, Sascha Dive has earned his status as a venerated contributor to the scene and has developed a musical identity characterised by a combination of deep, moody synthesis and precise, punchy drums.
His 'Beautiful People' EP develops these tropes and - as the name would suggest - suffuses them with a lick of dub. Sunken pads, deftly woven melodies and dense subs are rendered to a lucid finish across a versatile and effective set of tools which slot neatly into the Bondage-Music catalogue.'

Heading up the next outing on the sought after OPIA imprint is Argentine wonderkid, Richer. The Calypso Dream founder steers you on a journey of blissful progressive grooves, and classic house energy, uplifting as each track of the “Klub Kontrol” EP develops into a pure dance floor emotion.

All of the tracks take a strong nod towards the sounds of years gone by, heavily influenced with the 90s heyday of house but containing a modern twist that Richer implements into his productions. Sincere emotion surrounds the whole of the EP urging your thoughts to wander to a dream like state of mind, capturing distinct love fuelled

CWPT are pleased to deliver four tracks of intoxicating after-hours dance music from Italian duo, Voodoos & Taboos. Self-releasing a number of vinyl-only releases before debuting in 2021 on Phonica AM, a new sub label of the legendary London record store, ‘Tropical Love’ refines the V&T sound further still into physicality and sensuality alike.

DJs with a taste for sunrise and beyond are truly spoiled for choice by Voodoos & Taboos, with each track bottling a different level of rave energy. ‘XTC’ is built around perhaps their most outlandish riff to date, alongside heavy-duty drums and cut-and-paste vocal samples reverent to an early, optimistic era of machine party music. Its A-side sister and title track, ‘Tropical Love’ is wide-eyed and warm, spring-loaded with true tech-house chords and frequent plunges into fresh pools of bass.

On the flip, ‘Warped’ strips the elements back further still, rolling with confidence on acid-flecked modulations and primitive piano, building towards a smooth launch into innerspace. Finally, ‘LSDREAMS’ delivers a lucid and deeply psychedelic send-off, as V&T lower the tempo to showcase the more organic side of their nocturnal inclinations.

Another fine addition to the steadily expanding back catalogue of Palms Trax’s label, ‘Tropical Love’ is a refreshing turn for those with no intention of calling it a night; heads music with real heart.

Bicep continue to bolster their Feel My Bicep imprint and follow up their recent remix of Blaze’s ‘Lovelee Dae’ with another reimagined classic. With this - the seventh addition to the catalogue, the Irish duo pay homage to another equally seminal recording as they rework ‘In Yer Face’ by 808 State.

Originally released via ZTT on the group’s third studio album ‘Ex:el’ in 1991 - ‘In Yer Face’ reached number 9 in the UK singles chart. Engineered by Graham Massey, the original mix is model 808 State - bold, Northern House Music that captures perfectly the zeitgeist of 90’s Rave culture.

Now - 25 years have past and on request from 808 State themselves, Bicep reimagine ‘In Yer Face’ breathing fresh air through the original, re-contextualising it and adding in their own signature sense of warming euphoria.

Included in the package are two dramatically different remixes the first of which aired during Bicep’s AVA Festival Boiler Room back in 2015.

For the 15th instalment we are welcoming newcomer to the label from the UK - Miles. This will be a debut record out by this young and talented producer who has showcased a vast range of sounds within this wax piece. Angels & Demons is the title of this extended play and it is because there are two sides to this record in terms of moods and feelings provoked. The demon side shall revoke a darker feeling within the listener whilst angel side ought-to come down as an epiphany or enlightenment whatever you prefer to call it and shine the light on it.

This time in the form of Japanese talent, Riku Sugimoto, brings a refreshing and pinpoint perspective on retro-futuristic sounds.

With an EP full of video-game synthesis, flawless syncopated bleeps, and bouncy bass details permeated with rave energy. It is slick and pacey progressive records across both sides. Starting with the soaring electro melodies on ‘Carefree Wonder’, and the angular 90’s house stabs of ‘Limestone Plateau’ crossed with ultra-modern acid sounds, make it guaranteed to deliver dancefloor reactions.

Another laser precise club record from the EYA stable of producers that continue to go from strength to strength in 2022 and beyond.

Casting its net far and wide, from Australia to Finland, via the UK and Tunisia, One Eye Witness’ maiden VA drop gathers a quartet of the international producers who’ve come to pique our interest in recent months.

Starting with Tunis-based up-and-comer HearThug, who steps up with “Alien All Too Alien” - a steadily pulsatory, 303-marinated dasher interlarded with flocks of pugnacious talk box stabs and rattling drums, making it a proper DJ-friendly weapon for any hour of the day. Helsinki’s Jeku follows up with the tribal acid churner ‘Aftermath’, laying down a sleek, sub-heavy earworm prepped on submerging systems from under the deepest layers of the spectrum with its fluttering melody, sturdy basswork and FX-laden synthesis.

Flip the coin over and here goes London-based groove manipulator Sohrab, entering the melee with ‘Ataraxia’ - a hypnotic slice of stealth mode, Gaussian-blurred dub techno that does exactly what’s written on the tin. The final number ’Surrender’ comes courtesy of rising Sydney-based producer Cousin, who treats us to a tripped-out ethereal riddim making the rounds betwixt the vaporous serenity of ambient and deep dub vibrations. The endearing final brushstroke to OEW’s first Zeitgeistian snapshot.

Revered house mainstay Junior Sanchez makes his debut on Carl Craig’s renowned Planet E Communications imprint today with the digital release of his latest EP ‘‘Art O Fact’ out now with a 12” to come this July. Hailing from New Jersey, Sanchez remains a pioneering force in house music for over three decades and a close ally of Craig’s.

‘Art O Fact’ is an exemplar of the energized rhythm and infectious groove that has become synonymous with Sanchez’s work and genre defining productions. The package seamlessly connects scenes and eras, paying homage to the soulful sonic atmosphere of Detroit, Junior Sanchez’s says:

“Art O Fact -- was created purely and simply out of creative inspiration. I walked into the studio one morning not really knowing what to do, so I let my inspiration guide me and my inspiration really was Detroit. I thought about that city, what it meant to me and what techno really meant to my heart. I have loved so many records by Carl Craig, DJ ROLANDO, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins, so the result is something really beautiful and organic, and the fact that it's coming out on Carl Craig's planet E imprint is such an honor.”

In addition to the original mix, the ‘Art O Fact’ EP features a bouncy ‘Luv4Detroit’ Dub, energized edit, and melodic reprise.

Sanchez’s eclectic palette can be credited in part to his time spent in the sonic melting pot of New York City in the 1990s. A pillar of the underground club scene, Junior Sanchez began DJing at iconic New York City institutions such as Limelight and Club USA at the mere age of 13 and released his first track on iconic house imprint Strictly Rhythm at age 15. Sanchez went on to co-found Da Mongaloids collective, composed of the likes of Daft Punk, Armand van Helden, LaidbackLuke, and more which laid the foundation for him to form multi-generational turntablism trio S-Men alongside Roger Sanchez and DJ Sneak.

Sanchez's extensive repertoire of collaborators includes Madonna, Ariana Grande, Good Charlotte, Azealia Banks and more while his own imprints Cube Recordings and Brobot Records have seen releases from the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Sébastien Léger, and Steve Mac.

Led by legendary Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig, Planet E Communications has been an integral force in shaping electronic music for the past thirty years. Standing testament to the timeless spirit of techno, over the past two years alone Carl has released the leftfield ‘Attenuator’ jazz fusion project from himself and Moritz Von Oswald, DJ Holographic’s multi-genre Detroit Love Vol. 5, and the first electronic music album from Mexican-American percussionist Francisco Mora-Catlett. Planet E continues to transcend the dance floor, as it perpetuates the unifying spirit and unwavering creativity of Detroit.

VDK returns for its fifth outing, bringing with it four pumping house brawlers jostling for your attention.

Vinyl-only VDK005 steps up to the platter with an original track by the renegade mistress herself, Odette.

Better Do It Right opens the release with Odette’s classic dancefloor ready percussion arrangements and glorious keywork. The track oozes sensuality; as the track evolves and its representation of day meets night, Odette’s vocal elements, delivered in a suitably brooding lilt, really take centre stage.

Terry Francis takes up the rest of the A-side, with a techier take on the original. Check out the moody bottom end and those hypnotic, skittering chirrups Francis brings to the mix. Definitely one to take your set up a notch.

Tel Aviv’s Brizman leads the charge on the flip, going for a softer approach to the remix. If you like your house with a low-slung minimal vibe, then this will be constantly in your rotation.

London’s own housemeister Ollie Drummond closes us out with his take on Odette’s track, turning the energy back up and introducing a leftfield vibe courtesy of a growling synth swell and echo-laden shots.
