The Manctalo revolution continues with Manchester's own Chris Massey and Italian DJ Rocca who bring this chug thud Italo floor bubbler to EP5. Its glittering intro floats through the cosmos with a euphoric flavour and is brought back into a big bang bass line for a great Italo Disco dancing experience.

So soon after his Red Laser debut on EP4 LeonxLeon is back with a clickety clack. This train journey inspired Italo Disco sees the Parisian producer get even more progressive and sophisticated with his music ideas resulting in this amazing 6 minute disco epic. Label Head Il Bosco imagines the soundtrack to a world taken over by decaying zombies. They must kill humans so they can eat brains in an attempt to satisfy their never ending hunger and when they have finished eating they enjoy dancing to sounds played by their favourite local Italo Disco DJ. It's a moody electronic beat heavy horror jam that fills the room with creepy electronics and sweeping delays.

Following the P-Punk stomp that was Electric Plum (ticitaci 001/A) comes THE sequencer track of the moment - LYCHEE by tici taci label boss Duncan Gray. If you've been to any of Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's ALFOS parties this summer you'll have heard this track - it's unmistakable. Swathes of slide guitar mixed with an insistent sequencer riff, and bass guitar which some folks might have once described as "baggy".

On the B side the groove is a little rarer, PALE GREEN TREES echoes the post-disco sound of Purple Ash (ticitaci 001/B), with a big warm bass guitar groove, funky guitars and a melody to get trapped under your mullet.

Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller will release the soundtrack to his new film work 'English Magic' currently exhibited at the Venice Biennale's British Pavilion as a limited edition EP with The Vinyl Factory.

Charged with representing Great Britain at the 55th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia which launches this week, Jeremy Deller has turned to the country's rich and varied musical heritage for inspiration.

The eclectic picture of England Deller presents in 'English Magic' through a series of stunning slow motion bird shots, a wintry scrapyard, an inflatable stonehenge and a street parade is reflected in the accompanying soundtrack; a 3 track EP that draws on three major junctures in UK music history.

Drenched in cultural significance and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road studios in London, Deller has called upon South London English/Trinidadian steel band the Melodians Steel Orchestra to interpret composer Vaughan Williams' 'Symphony in D minor', seminal UK acid house track 'Voodoo Ray' by A Guy Called Gerald and David Bowie's 1971 pop refrain 'The Man Who Sold The World', for what is a daring and evocative celebration of modern day England.

Kitsuné, the label that doesn't always show up where you expect it to, is releasing its brand new compilation Kitsuné Maison 15 on October 21 !

You might have thought Kitsuné had found its balance as electro's eclectic, reigning label, yet by casually launching the career of Two Door Cinema Club, one of the most endearing indie bands these last few years, the Franco-Japanese fox has proved the world it had become an important player in the music arena. In-house bands Is Tropical (second album 'I'm Leaving' came out this summer) and Citizens! are nothing but other convincing examples, the wheel's truly in motion!

A stateless trio (Narumi is Japanese, Maïk is English, and Leo is Swedish), Tristesse Contemporaine chose Paris as their battleground. The sound of their first self-titled album, produced by Pilooski (Discodeine) in 2012, was immediately praised among the music scene and critics - raw and minimal, catchy yet mesmerizing, both poppy and spleen-heavy. Equally inspired by the ghosts of shoegaze, krautrock and Madchester, they aimed to write the soundtrack of an era that got lost into the nights. Songs like « I Didn't Know », « Daytime Nighttime », « In the Wake », or « Hell is Other People » set catwalks (Chanel) on fire along with the music press and live venues, as much in France (where they recently opened for Pulp at the Olympia) as elsewhere, including Russia and Eastern Europe.

After the Woodwork EP which announced the start of a new collaboration with the label Record Makers (and their original home, Dirty), Tristesse Contemporaine returns with a second album, Stay Golden, where the trio reaffirms with nine thrilling songs which stay close to the original DNA while daring to reveal new secrets of their identities. The uplifting pop of Fire, the abrasive rock I Do What I Want, through to the surgically precise house of Going Out, Stay Golden points the Tristesse Contemporaine projectors to the city skies as well as the twisted dance floors.

James Curd, Adam Frawley and Mitchell van Kaathoven aka Holy Models are a 3 piece Psychedelic Daytime Disco band hailing from outback South Australia. Their work transports the listener into a dream type state, yet rendering them fully conscious. Their genre bending style allows the user to explore a variety of different feelings. 'Swimming' is a textbook example.

Zwei Jahre nach Veröffentlichung seines Mercury Music Prize nominierten Debüts vollzieht Ghostpoet auf seinem neuen Album einen musikalischen Quantensprung. Minimale elektronische Beats / Backings bilden das musikalische Fundament, auf das der Ghostpoet seine Raps / Poems bettet. UK Garage, Dubstep und UK Rap beinflussten das Album musikalisch, aber es gelingt Ghostpoet all dies zu etwas wahrlich Einzigartigem zu formen. Wenn man hier Referenzen anführen möchte, wären das Trickys "Maxinquaye", Roots Manouvas Debutalbum oder auch die späten MassiveAttack. So dürfte ihm auch in diesem Jahr zumindest eine Mercury Music Prize Nominierung wieder sicher sein, und wir hoffen, dass er ihn diesmal dann auch gewinnt. Etwas spannenderes an elektronischer Urban Musik aus UK dürfte dieses Jahr nicht mehr kommen. Zur Seite stand ihm mit Richard Formby ein brillanter Co-Produzent (Wild Beasts, Darkstar, etc). Darüber hinaus hat der Ghostpoet auf zwei Songs mit den Drum-Legenden Tony Allen (Fela Kuti, etc) und Charles Hayward (This Heat) zusammen gearbeitet. In Deutschland konnte Ghostpoet seine Fanbase in den letzten Monaten entscheidend ausbauen mit umjubelten Shows beim u.a. Berlin Festival sowie einer Tape TV "Auf den Dächern" Session in Kooperation mit Spiegel.de.

The Archie Pelago journey continues in it's own unique fashion as the Brooklyn three-piece unveil the follow up to their definitive 'Sly Gazabo EP', with two of their most euphoric tracks to date: "Breezy Whey" and "Backflight" with a skewed Thefft remix to boot.

Bosq from Whiskey Barons is back with more heat for the dancefloor in the form of a double 12' release. Both feature songs that will be on the upcoming full-length album but also include alternate takes and exclusives to the singles.

'Up & Down' continues the formula of classic sounding dance grooves with heavy Afro Latin influences throughout on this special all instrumental offering and features the reunion of Bosq with Nigerian composer / producer / singer Kaleta, who this time around remains an instrumentalist, handling guitar and the horn arrangements. The track - "Up & Down" went through so many revisions and mixes that it could only be properly represented with 2 very different versions. The NYC 91 mix focuses on the dance floor with pulsing afro house drums and a scorching horn section, while the NIgeria 76 mix keeps it organic and funky with a live kit taking over for the drum machines and a new arrangement.

The vinyl comes with an exclusive CDR version of the My Summer Mixtape compilaiton put together by Chris Coco, all housed in a exclusive custom record shopping bag, the ultimate Balearic accessory for DJs, vinyl lovers and beach bums.

Formed in 2010, Satin Jackets have been building a enviable reputation of late, with key releases on Eskimo, Toolroom and Hed Kandi to name but a few. 12-inch compatible arrangements, a spoonful or two of friskiness and addictive bass-lines unfold their magic, relying on nifty four-to-the-floor grooves topped off with a decent amount of glitter. Satin Jackets delivers glossy tunes wrapped in the lushness of modern club sound with that extra amount of basement les connoisseurs desire.

Born in Barcelona, Jose Padilla moved to Ibiza in 1975, taking up the DJ residency at Cafe del Mar in 1991. His Cafe Del Mar compilation series, was regarded as the Zeitgeist of chillout music for the ten years that he was in control of the music selection.

For this release, Padilla makes a rare solo appearance to deliver an advanced chill record, rich with strong rhythms and wave-like synth atmospheres, remixed into a bumpy, dusty jam my our man Chris Coco.

The 12" is available on its own and as part of a limited release - My Summer Record Bag, that includes the vinyl, the My Summer Mixtape album and a bespoke designer record bag made in collaboration with We Are Tuk Tuk.
