After leading off his '#willpower' album by proclaiming himself 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever),' will.i.am aims to present a more universal message on the record's second single, 'This Is Love,' an up-tempo pop song with hip-hop and electronic elements. 'This Is Love' features the vocals of Eva Simons, who co-wrote and sang on Afrojack's breakthrough hit 'Take Over Control.' The track opens quietly with will backed up on piano as he sings about finding love tonight. The pace picks up with the arrival of Simons, who asks, 'Can you feel the love' The song, reportedly produced by Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello, surges ahead with a pulsing beat that leads into will's rap. The verdict We love 'This Is Love' and its sunny melody better than 'T.H.E.,' mostly thanks to Simons, whose vocals carry the tune and make it a complete hit.

You'll Be Safe Forever marks the first release from Locust in 12 years. Mark Van Hoen, who made a string of influential releases as Locust on R&S records in the 1990's, all but retired the alias at the end of that decade. In May 2012, Van Hoen was invited to perform a live set on WFMU radio. In order to make the set more spontanious and add a further dimension, he asked friend and fellow musician Louis Sherman to collaborate. While improvising new material in Sherman's Brooklyn rehearsal studio, It swiftly became obvious that the material sounded like Locust. Inspired by joint explorations with found sound sources and ambient textures, and sharing a pan-dimensional immersion in the length and breadth of analogue and digital recording, the duo performed a series of tracks live.

The 2013 year starts with a new group-dance compilation titled 'Bachadance Compilation, Vol.1'.
A Compilation that contains 14 tracks and inside numerous medley that joins cover tracks of the famous unpublished tracks, all to dance.

Following on from the success of BNZ001, Slugabed's new label Activia Benz are releasing their second record, Recolor from Moscow's 813. He is a Russian fireman, and his music is very synth heavy and melodic, as well as very dancefloor.
Recolor EP has been getting DJ support from Om Unit, Kidkanevil, Starkey, XLII, Kelpe, DJ Deville, and more.
Airplay so far from DJ shox (Rinse FM) and Rob Da Bank (Radio 1), as well as KEXP (Washington, USA), WYEP (Pittsburg, USA), Black Athena (Greece), Triple R (Australia) among other international staions.

Psychemagik's 'Lunar Escape EP' is their first original studio EP, 3
diversely eclectic tracks, no samples, no edits, all tracks written and
produced by the duo and has been released to coincide with their February
2013 USA Tour.
The opening track ,'Where Are We', is a full frontal cosmic odyssey, with
chainsaw arpeggios, delirious disco basslines, with beats that would crash
meteors, bugged out vocoders and synth lines that mesmerise, this epic cut
takes you truly into galactic bliss. Of the next track, 'Bass Purr',
Psychemagik have said 'we had fun mixing up genres and exploring a more
experimental route. This nasty bass line found a life of it own and took
us into territories unknown', enjoy the ride!
The climax of a lunar escape is when you break through the clouds on your
ascent to a new atmosphere. On 'Above The Clouds', the EP's final track,
Psychemagik employed a 17 piece orchestra in Air Studios to help them get
their point across, working with the talented string arranger Richard
Chester.

After their glorious debut on 2DIY4 Pool are back to release their second EP! Again it's a four tracker consisting of two original Pool-tracks and two remixes by Aeroplane and Stimming. The 'Flex EP' demonstrates the great progress of the Hamburg-based Indieband Pool, again showcasing their ability to create a full, particolored and highly unique sound with guitar, bass, drums and vocals. All in all it's an unbelievably smooth and promising release asking for more to follow! The first original, 'Flex", is an epic and atmospheric bomb, working with intense build-ups, emotive vocals and sick guitar- and bass-lines. The special feeling and the continuous changes of groove and timing immediately make you move and of course flex your body! The internationally famous and beloved Disco-producer Vito de Luca a.k.a. Aeroplane put hands on 'Flex' and did an incredibly sexy remix. His remix is 50 BPM slower than the original and makes perfect use of the guitars and vocals getting them into his very own and unique style. The other original by Pool, 'Botox", is a crazily tight and powerful groover satisfying with it's straight drums and wonderful vocal- and guitar- harmonies. The epic structure and impulsive atmosphere of 'Botox' create sleek tension and immediately make you go with it. Groove-expert Stimming did a supersonic remix of 'Botox"! The get-together of his drums, bassline and the guitars evolve a deep and mellow temper. Especially when the vocal comes in the sparkling and hypnotic feeling forces you to leave things behind and dance!

Whispers from An Angel is the second release on First Word Records from Japanese producer Yosi Horikawa. After the delicate instrumental electronica of debut EP 'Wandering' this release sees a collaboration with fellow Red Bull Music Academy alumni Grayson Gilmour, Anenon & Jesse Boykins III. Originally recorded at Red Bull's studios in Madrid, the track remained unfinished for almost a year. It was too good to stay incomplete however and is the perfect release ahead of Yosi's debut album in 2013.
Yosi's idiosyncratic production style is the ideal counterpoint to Jesse's soulful vocals and some subtle keyboard work from Grayson. With the addition of a tasteful saxophone solo from Anenon this is a track that is a collaboration in the truest sense of the word. On the b-side is the instrumental 'Dots' - another intricate Yosi rhythm, with layer upon layer of strange pops and crackles slowly building into a trademark off-kilter beat. The release is topped off with a remix from Anenon of the title track adding a brooding build and a more club-friendly beat - effortlessly taking the track into a new dimension. The lead track is also available on a limited edition 7" featuring 'Bubbles' from the debut EP on the flip.

He preserves that fresh and insatiable curiosity that pushes him to a constant search of what the musical panorama hides sometime in the undergrounder channels, waves that he hurls on the dancefloor of clubs disseminated all around Europe, from London to Ibiza, from Italy to the Eastern Europe, as his legendary residency at the Ambasada Gavioli, one of the reference club for underground music in Europe. At the beginning
of 2008 he started a collaboration with various international musicians and singers, producing high quality sounds and characteristic videos that will probably place him on top of global dance scene. Hosted by radios
as Proton (U.S.A.), Ministry of Sound (U.K.) with his video he has been for weeks on the 4th place of MTV's Dance Floor Chart. He released several productions for some of the coolest labels in the house scene and has supported many of the most relevant djs in the international pano ama. Among his mixed compilations, a special limited edition for the prestigious brand Illy Caffé, and last but not least, he does soundesigning for fashion brands and exhibitions.

Flipside has a more stripped and dubby Pandora Box remix... difficult to pick a favorite!!

Slowly building, soul-soothing, and disco-fuelled house with a nod to both the great masters from Chicago and the new electronic breed.
Lisbon producer and Lux resident Ramboiage likes to take it slow to take things further. 'Del Fuego' kicks off modestly with a simple beat and some light percussion, creating and eerie mood. But then some tasty, disco-fuelled heavy house kicks in, and the tune starts to roll unstoppable, riding on a horn hook. Funky like a train, as the mighty Equals would say. Spanish Om Records darling Al Velilla steps up the pace a little bit and lets the original float over some tasty discohouse beats and eighties-flavoured synths.

Following on from the release of recent single Hail Bop and subsequently the extended Hail Bop EP, Django Django are pleased to confirm details of their next release from their exceptional eponymous debut album - which was today nominated for this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize. This revered accolade is yet another deserved nod, as it was announced last week that the band are in the running for Best New Act at this year's Q Awards.

Uminecosounds is a 4 pieces Japanese Rock Band. The vocal and guitar, Osamu Furusato has released his solo album from a recording label "NOISE McCARTNEY RECORDS" led by "QURULI" who has a lot of followers not only in Japan but also overseas, and the bassist Toshiaki Sudo has collaborated with Jim O'Rourke etc.
At first, the band was just for solo unit for Osamu Furusato but after released his debut mini album "Yuuyake" and played at one of Japanese biggest summer festivals "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 09", he changed the style to a band and re-named as "Uminecosounds". This song "machi no akari" was included in their first album "Saru to Banana" and it was sold only at Tower Records in Shinjuku exclusively. For that reason, this CD is collector's item right now.
The remixer, Crystal is a producer/DJ in Tokyo who has started his carrier in 1995 as name of "Traks Boys" and released his 1st album "Technicolor" in 2007 and 2nd album "Bring The Noise" in 2008. Also he released two 12inch singles from Japanese world famous label, "Crue-L Records" by Kenji Takimi.

A fan favorite on the full length release, "ROBOTS & BUMBLEBEES" is CVO's special tribute to the great
PATRICK ADAMS. Classic synth sounds with a hot GU groove. The B-side goes way deep with "SILENT PIMP", a comprehensive
piece of chilled out elements and soulful jazz keys.
