Listen, David Guetta's incredible sixth studio album, set for worldwide release on November 24th, unites three years of production work with David's desire to produce records that strike a chord with his huge army of fans and equally, opens the hearts, ears and minds of others. It was towards the end of the 80's when people started to talk about 'Acid Jazz', but in reality the phenomenon actually exploded fully around early 90's, first in England, then in Europe and then all around the world. A new way of listening and dancing to music that had Jazz influences produced by some amazingly talented musicians but also DJ's with their passion for Black music. Mainly Jazz rooted then, but with Soul and Funky Elements to complete this excellent style that is very current and still much in vogue to this day. Even though if the original name is often misinterpreted the spirit remains the same. Among the European label, Irma Records is definitely one that has Produced and continues to release the best Acid Jazz tracks, they are here collected for the first time in a double CD at a special price.

Hypnotic, synthesised bliss, B-boy breaks and dreamy dub. If that doesn't sound like a winning combo, we don't know what does.

When you have a song called "An Army Of Fat Synths" and it isn't by Andy Meecham, you know that at some point you're going to have to go over to your 1988 fax machine to send the man a request for a remix. It's just a matter of 1+1=2. So we did, and much to our delight, our hero, who most of you know by his Emperor Machine alias, was kind enough to oblige. The opening track of Wild Honey's fab Big Flash is 142 seconds long in its original version, but by the time Mr. Meecham was finished with it it had grown to thirteen and a half minutes of pure, hypnotic, synthesised bliss. Robot rock!

Madrid homeboy Al-X Rocks does a version of the tune as well, and while he keeps it around the two and a half minutes, the early Shadow-invoking mad drum break does a perfect job of turning the song into a potential fly girls and boys favourite to show their crazy dance moves to.

The third track on this 12" is for the short 'n' sweet "Rogerio Duprat Looks Out The Window", even though Miguelito Superstar's dubbed out version is twice as long as the original. Twice as dreamy, too, what with the instruments echoing all over the place, those old school drum machines rolling on and the distant sounding vocals.

Tibetan percussion hammered against stuttering bass into a shroud of ascension, the organic transmogrified into antimatter between grinding synthetic teeth. The guiding voice of ascendance promises the Great Gift that only the loss of flesh may bring—'Silence...'

* When the dissolution of Self occurs, when you have been absorbed into the blind and chaotic wisdom of Eternity and the sun in your head is snuffed out, order may be found in these incantations.

* Dadub's liquid cold burns across the Merkahbahtic portal, offering a new world—one of descent rather than S-nInYourHead ascension, spinning headling into depths as crushing and black as a star's birthplace.

* Twisting further downwards, the hand of Kerridge corrupts both gateway and guide into a looming smear of entropic hatred. This is the sound at the center of the universe, a wail of eternal birth: terror, confusion and pain.

Kohshi Kamata (born 1980) is a Japanese electronic musician, sound artist and producer. He is based in Berlin, Germany. Kamata composes experimental, avant-garde and instrumental music that does not impair the aesthetic sense. He uses mainly MAXMSP, PD, processing in his creations and performance.His live performances are gaining much admiration from all lovers of experimental electronica.

In the artists own words he says : I made the album "SevenMost" over the space of 6 months from the middle of 2013-2014. In the early stages of making the music I had an initial concept in my mind of how I wanted the tracks to sound. The process took some time to come to life. Each of the tracks specifically concern the extremely personal issue which was around me at that time. The music on the album deeply expresses the complicated and unverbalized feeling that I felt at the time. They are extremely personal, but even now I can feel the indescribable color, currency and feeling generated in these things and I hope you the listener can also hear and feel this too when you listen. This is the first album for 12k from renowned UK sound artist Janek Schaefer. He has been active in the music and art worlds for the past 20 years recording and creating sound installations for an impressive list of labels and institutions. In 2008 Schaefer won the British Composer of the Year award in Sonic Art, and the Paul Hamlyn Award, for his project Extended Play [triptych for the child survivors of war and conflict]. He is a Visiting Professor & Research Fellow at Oxford Brookes University, in the Sonic Art Research Unit, and is represented by the Agency gallery, London. In 2010 Janek produced his largest and most ambitious installation Asleep at the wheel... which explored how our society is hurtling down the fast lane of life with our head in the clouds, and our foot to the floor thinking the road ahead goes on forever. Incorporating spoken word soundbites from a variety of forward thinking people, it enlightened and challenged the audience into waking up, with very positive reactions from all the generations that attended. In contrast to this, Lay-by Lullaby is a companion album that invites you to take a break, pull over, and daydream as life speeds on by. The motorway signs above read - Tiredness can kill... The composition is his calmest yet, and is based around location recordings made in the middle of the night above the M3 motorway, right at the end of the road where JG Ballard lived, a couple of miles from Schaefer's studio on the far west edge of London. Ballard wrote his seminal works on car culture, as the motorway was being built past the front of his house in 1973; Crash (1973), Concrete Island (1974). The 73 minute album weaves these location recordings around a series of spacious sonorities, that shimmer with analogue textures and liminal melodies that burnout in the passing headlights. The speeding traffic dopplertrails reveal fleeting passages of soporific sounds that entice you to recline, drift and fade away. An album to enjoy with your eyes closed, on repeat play until the dawn rush hour returns... Lay-by Lullaby was created in 2013 as a sculptural installation for Schaefer's solo London show 'Collecting Connections' at the Agency gallery. A pair of reclining traffic speaker cones play back the foundsoundscape from a car radio installed in a little leather travel case on infinite loop.

Memory and Matter comprises selected remixes and rarities from the past seven years, nine of them previously unreleased and many of them only issued only on hard to find EPs or as Japanese release bonus tracks. Far from being merely a collection of every single oddity, these tracks were carefully selected into a consistent whole that maintains the same high standard of proper Manual albums. This two-disc compilation is also a labor of love. Like it's predecessor, Lost Days, Open Skies and Streaming Tides, released in 2007, disc one demonstrates Jonas Munk aka Manual's expertise in creating elegantly layered, shoegazey pop, while disc two focuses on minimalist, slow-moving pieces created mostly from processed guitars. The latter adds an excellent postscript to Confluence - an album that has gained near-classic status in ambient/drone circles since it's release in 2008. Munk's way of remixing other artists usually involves a complete reconstruction of the original piece, rearranging heavily and adding loads of fresh layers of sound to it, which is obvious when listening to his haunting and atmospheric reworkings of Blue Foundation's ballad "Dressed in Black" or Mice Parade singer Caroline's "Sleep", or the Robin Guthrie produced Annie Barker track "Cruel". For Manual fans it's a treat to hear Munk's lush signature sound paired up with (often female) vocals. Disc 1 closes with the 17 minute Manual original "Camellia", the most new age-indebted piece in the Manual oeuvre, originally created for a digital-only compilation on Attack9. The track's placid sense of drift and delicately weaved harmonies makes it a standout in Munk's entire body of work. Disc 2 is darker, more ambiguous in tone, with "Three Parts" as the center piece - an enigmatic composition originally created for Ghostly International's ambient/drone compilation SMM: Context in 2011. Other notable selections includes "Fields", a meditative collaboration with Jason Kolb from Auburn Lull, and "Memento", a somber piece that exhibits Munk's flair for intensive guitar manipulation. Since then - Café Solaire' compilations spread the special southern flair and delight fans and friends of sophisticated electronic music. This new release from PRAH Recordings sees cellist Oliver Coates take on Bryce Hackford's Moodymann-esque dance floor assault Another Fantasy - the lead track from Bryce's 2013 'Fair' EP that won support from the likes of Jacques Renault, Ewan Pearson & Dubfire.

Oliver de-constructs the track and re-builds it entirely made from cello parts managing to make the already dark tune perhaps even more menacing. The result is astounding.
