London's Motek Music is back with 'All on Me' - a release loaded with a plethora of underground talent. The original and range of remixes allow something for all the dance floors over the House music scene.

Heading up the release with the original mix is Superlounge's collaboration with the highly in-demand Canadian singer Forrest. Superlounge have seen their productions grace labels such as Soulfooled, Supernature and Noir to name a few. Forrest's vocals have been used by many industry heavyweights as the 'icing on the cake', that final sublime finishing touch that sets one track apart from the rest. He's worked with the likes of Avatism, Eric Volta, Re.You, Shall Ocin, Tom Budden and many more. This original mix floats along with shimmering bell like textured synths and soft punchy percussion. Organ riffs and soft stabby finishes add depth and atmosphere to round off an elegant instrumental. Finally Forrest brings a beautiful ambiance to the track through his soft but very present vocal.

The remixers in this release need little introduction, starting with Eric Volta's 'We Discover The Light Within'. The man responsible for one of 2013 biggest records - 'Love Your Illusion' has once again expectedly done the unexpected. His take on the track is experimental, fresh and thought provoking, providing his signature twist to Superlounge's already impressive track. A little more driving than the original and with a broken beat flavour, this version offers a strong groove through a very wooden textured percussion section. Sitting on top of this flow open and closed cutoff synth keys parts that add movement throughout the track. Warm chords, to strong improvised solo parts give the track a mystical feel and a real sunset ambient vibe. Crystal like swirling string synth pads finish off this track, gliding across the production.

Up next is Maher Daniel's remix, the most up tempo and darkest of the pack. Deep Tech House in feel, this track powers along over a strong kick and conga/tom base, driving hats and ride cymbals. Holding the weight of the track is the constant dark bass pad on top of which the groove and vocal sit. Distant reverb FX elements and crowd style noise textures add depth and atmosphere to the mix creating space for the percussive xylophone style lead, arpeggiating over a track suited perfectly for the after hours.

Hands Free and Kosmas combine forces to bring us the final remix in this release with an intelligent piece of dance floor friendly music. As with the previous remixes, this delivers a smooth flowing ambient atmosphere whilst still creating a strong punch and groove through the percussion and bass, to captivate any dance floor. A bold echoing lead line drives the track above soft, warm pad textures including use of the vocal, edited to add air and space to the production. The final touches to this remix are in the subtle riffs and FX parts that come and go throughout, whether in the foreground or background, creating movement which subconsciously captivate.

AH! KOSMOS is the moniker of Istanbul-based producer and instrumentalist Basak Günak. Two years from the release of her Flesh EP, AH! KOSMOS is announcing her self-produced, full-length debut for Denovali Records called BASTARDS due out in April 2015. This release will be accompanied by a re-issue of the debut EP FLESH, released for the first time on a world-wide scale and on the vinyl format. BASTARDS digs deeply into the surface and soon turns that hole into a living space, a home for all. Albeit Bastards are not orphans, but they are freed from models or possessions and reckon no top or bottom, no right or wrong. In these interstices, a band of un-mastered sounds and voices are composing a brotherhood of a new kind. This fatherless community of differents that gather and fall apart, meet and clash, now unfolds the horizon of infinite lines and curves, feverish desires and endless sympathies. Spaced-out layers of beats and blissed-out sounds and textures create a sense of slow, echoic wonder that eventually builds to a multi-rhythmic universe of its own. Supporting the likes of Darkside, James Holden, Kiasmos, Two Door Cinema Club, Emika, Daddy G (Massive Attack) in her hometown Istanbul, AH! KOSMOS performed at remarkable festivals as Rock'n Coke, Babylon Soundgarden, Venice Electro Festival, Budapest Punkurica Festival, Piknik Elektronik in Brussels, Tokyo Electronic Music of Arts Festival and CitySonic Festival in Mons. Basak Günak has also composed and created sound design for contemporary dance and plays, short-flms and site-specifc performances / installations in several art spaces including Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Prague Signal Festival, 18th and 19th Istanbul International Theater Festival (IKSV), ARENA Theater Festival Nürnberg and Venice ElectroFestival. Recently, she has been invited to the highly coveted Red Bull Music Academy 2014 Tokyo as a participant. If it hadn't already been obvious before, the 2015 Grammy and Brit Awards left no doubt in anyone's mind that Sam Smith is one of the most outstanding, independent and successful singers of our time. Global hits, initially as a 'featured artist' for Disclosure and Naughty Boy, and then as a solo artist on his award-winning masterpiece album 'In the Lonely Hour', saw him rise to mega-stardom in 2014. But, what many people aren't aware of is that Sam recorded an entire studio album before all that. Between 2007 and 2010 the young Sam Smith juggled between school studies, being a teenager and recording his debut album - 'Time Won't Wait'. Sam's desire to be a star along with the songs he had helped choose encouraged him to commute from his home to the studio of his West London Label - V&M Music, a small independent Label with a big instinct for recognising talent.

V&M released Sam's first single 'Bad Day All Week' - remixes by Per QX and Kinky Roland achieving top 10 Music Week hype charts. V&M then remixed one of Sam's favourite tracks - 'When It's Alright' - remixes by Per QX, Kinky Roland & Kid Massive. In 2009, independent dance Label - Kosmo Records - also recognising the talent that is Sam Smith - teamed up with V&M Music, signing a worldwide license deal for the single 'When It's Alright' adding a Tom Novy mix and taking an option to remix Sam's debut album 'Time Won't Wait'. In 2010, just as the Album was ready for worldwide release, Sam moved on to new horizons leaving V&M and Kosmo with Sam's album without Sam.

Since then, only two tracks from this album have seen the light of day: 'When It's Alright', Sam's first Kosmo release from 2009 charting again in 2013 and 2014; and "Moments", a collaboration with the German- Colombian DJ-producer Freddy Verano. Both songs left their marks by making the Top 3 of the worldwide Hypem Charts. But, Time has waited for 'Time Won't Wait'!! and Kosmo Records is blowing the dust off the entire buried treasure and launching the long-lost Sam Smith debut album on to the worldwide market in May 2015 ...retitled - Sam Smith, 'The Lost Tapes - Remixed'. For 'The Lost Tapes - Remixed', Kosmo Records had talented DJs/producers re-work the Sam Smith numbers from the years 2007 to 2010. Stylistically, the new tracks largely range between Deep House and modern Electronic with blog-affinity, putting young Sam Smith's vocals in a contemporary environment, while always keeping the focus firmly on the magic of his recordings. For the first time, the full-length Soest concert from 1970 saw KRAFTWERK as a trio (Ralf Hütter - Hammond organ, Klaus Dinger - drums, Florian Schneider-Esleben - Flute). In 1970 - its founding year - KRAFTWERK, although already an avant-garde band, their sounds were still exclusively handmade. In these songs, they experimented with distorted sounds of flute and Hammond organ. But the monotonous beat and cool arrangements foreshadowed, in which direction their sound would develop only a few years later.

Five Fold's fifth foray introduces Venetian underground house purveyors Autre & TIYG's vinyl debut as a production collective. Machina Electrica EP was recorded as a series of live jams and re-edits that venture through old school house to soulful jazz fusion and rough techno rhythms. Human Traffic sampling 'Bruva Gonna Take You There' is bursting with the infamous hoover sound from the Roland Alpha Juno (Second Phase - Mentasm et al) and the rest of the EP follows suit with tracks reminiscent of the likes of T99 and DJ's Unite. They Rave Us reboots a genre from the golden years of electronic music and has lots of fun in the process.

'Kellion' is the story of a young boy who was born into a mysterious world he explores with his curious eyes, ears and hands. Every new experience lets him grow as a person and also expands his knowledge of the world that surrounds him. His young mind is sometimes blurrying the lines between imagination and reality, dreaming and being awake, reality and fantasy. Making sense of this world in its very own unique way, his world is filled with fantastic and surreal magical creatures and quirky characters.

Over the course of the ten songs many different little adventures unfold and await the young boy, slowly building his character while he explores nature in all its varieties and learns to appreciate it. He lives through new emotions and gets to learn about his own feelings during the process. The title track 'Kellion' represents the very inner world of the kid - it is his cocoon where he can always return to and be safe after his journeys and adventures.

Since 2007, when Txarly Brown (DJ and collector) started his Achilifunk project, spanish gipsy danceable sounds have returned to the front pages of music magazines. After two compilation albums "Achilifunk, Gipsy Soul 1969-1979", "Más Achilifunk, Gipsy Soul from the 21st Century", Txarly founded the Banda Achilifunk (a big band with 17 musicians on stage) and released the album "Gitano Real". Two years later he published the book "Achilibook" and now he has finally launched its pilot project: the Achilifunk Sound System. A small combo which brings together the best spanish gipsy funk performers to recreate a repertoire of classic sounds mixing flamenco rumba with hip hop, funk, dubstep, house, disco, ska, reggae... An outstanding long play released in collaboration with Wah Wah records in a 500 copies limited edition that comes with remastered sound and includes an insert with liner notes and photos.

Based in Biel, Switzerland, the duo of DJ-producers jumped on the bandwagon of juke and footwork after experiencing it during a performance of DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn.
Now recognized on the music scene thanks to many singles, EP's and other collaborations on labels around the world, the pair has chosen Argent Sale for the release of their first album, Strangers.
A long format that speaks volumes about the influences that shaped the sound of the two friends: ranging from juke, house, dubstep and bass music, the album combines brilliantly melodic sweeps and complex rhythmic, supported by syncopated infrabasses.
Rite of passage, the nine tracks that compose the album transport the listener to variously glacial, lush or mineral landscapes. A delight to be experienced on the dance floor, as well as in the comfort of our couch.

Immensely inspired by the beautiful simplicity embodied by the laws of nature, especially the number Pi and the notion of the golden ratio, Michal Lewicki has always been searching for new ways to implement mathematics into his music. But aiming for the perfect proportions while making the music feel natural and complex at the same time has been no easy feat. In the creation of "Ton" he applied a very technical approach, utilizing various random midi generators, midi delays, polyrhythms, pitch shifters, scales and more in order to create something that posseses a live on its own, bringing him as close as possible to a naturally occurring chaos we can find in the surrounding nature every day. "One of the basic rules of aesthetics - man's senses enjoy objects that are properly proportioned. He referred to the direct relationship between beauty and mathematics, which is often measurable and can be found in nature." - R. Fisher on philosopher St. Thomas Aquinas After painstakingly accurate and detailed editing of these generators, they would create something unique and different upon every single run. The result are unique non-recurring snapshots as foundation for most tracks, a quasi-mathematical experiment in audio-randomization. Now Michal really started his work, creating arrangements and progressions based on the simple sines and natural convolution, giving the track dynamics, adding layers of synths and instrumentation. 'Ton' comes out worldwide on limited vinyl (including download code).

The Swingrowers (pronounced Swing Growers) release their second, full-length, album 'Remote' on 9th February 2015. It will be available on CD and limited edition vinyl and is available digitally from December 2014.

"Remote" is a revelation. A complete and fully-realised Electro Swing album that seamlessly blends 20's and 30's influences with polished contemporary production; Superb musicianship with great song-writing; a unique modern sound with classically gorgeous, jazz-inflected vocals.

This is the sound of a band (and indeed an up-start young genre) maturing rapidly.

What marks this out is the departure from any use of vintage samples. Instead, every track, every sound is entirely original - the influences have been fully absorbed. If there was ever any doubt that this genre had a future, then this is the rebuttal. "Remote" is nothing less than a game-changer.

The album was written collaboratively by the new 5-piece Swingrowers. Now incorporating new members on Violin, Clarinet/Sax with the previous Manouche (Gypsy) Guitar, Drums/Keys/Production and Vocals, the album also features a collaboration with London rappers Too Many T's on the story of the sibling rivalry between Django Reinhardt and his brother (Track 6 - 'Django') and is the latest in an increasingly impressive line of releases on Brighton Independent label, Freshly Squeezed.
