Praterei returns with their 5th instalment and so do those twins with their second successive offering to the Vienna stable! The ingredients on this one are similar to the last but the result is no less stirring.
The rough and ready side of the 12 belongs to the aptly entitled 'House' and you'll soon see why. Never straying too far from the old school; shuffling beats and rims keep things swinging. Each layer of the melody is deep in 'you'll be whistling this later' territory and intermittent vocal shouts remind us exactly what it is we are listening to.
The flip beckons for you to 'Walk With Me' and that you must. The beat saunters along but always with a sanguine skip and our seductive protagonist guides us through the warm textures of rich pads and stabs.
This is one of those records where, for both tracks, the message could not be more perfectly translated. Every aspect contributes to a common goal, and that's a rare and quite special thing.

Ray Okpara's Ama Recordings imprint returns with this split release from DJ Romain ft Hype Hunnets and Mobius Strum, entitled .Luv In The Club'. Ama Recordings is now nine releases strong and has seen in tracks and remixes from several of Germany's prominent house producers such as Sascha Dive, Nick Curly, Nekes, Johnny D and Ray himself. This release welcomes DJ Romain and Mobius Strum with open arms to the Ama family. NYC's house stalwart DJ Romain has been heavily involved with the house music scene since the early nineties and has seen in collaborative works with Robert Owens. Costa Rican duo Mobius Strum comprises Elena Lopez and Leonardo Falfan of Kabuto & Koji fame. Here they follow releases on Akbal, Supernature and Caramella, showcasing their infectious house grooves.

Soul Purpose bring some old school house vibes to 'Sounds In The Air' which up until now has been lurking deep in the Z vaults.
Crisp beats and contemporary sounds make this a sure-fire winner for almost any type of house set.

Preceding a full length album on 4lux, Ka§par showcases his amazing talents on this second EP for 4lux. The portuguese producer comes with some of the most interesting dance music around. Got Good Love is a tough Deep House groover that comes as both original and with a Nicholas remix. Cruising Andromeda is a futuristic techno tune for forward thinking deejay's. On Hyphen Ka§par slows down the pace and tosses in some 707 action: a crazy ride with rough synths and spaced out effects. Ka§par's releases have become rare and sought after, releasing little more than one 12'' a year in the recent past... when one listens to the result, it only proves how great things take their time.

One of the fastest rising underground stars of our generation, disco-house sensation Miguel Campbell makes a momentous come back on the Hot Creations imprint with two original tracks from his highly anticipated album with impressive remixes from Shadow Child and MAM.
Now one of the most sought after DJs and producers in the industry, it was Jamie
Jones and Lee Foss who first spotted the Leeds based Miguel Campbell and snapped him up with 'Baby I Got It,' which was released on the label in 2011. The release featured the astronomic 'Something Special', which became the biggest selling track on Beatport that year, now clocking over 4 million views on Youtube! Since then, Miguel has won a DJ Mag Best of British Award and has been releasing and remixing on other labels such as Wolf + Lamb and Outcross.
First up for this release, title track 'Rockin' Beats' featuring Naroe on vocals is a funk fuelled odyssey , filled with spacey electronic madness and showcasing Campbell's dexterous use of vocals adding extra dimensions as the vocoder Daft Punk style rapping rolls through the zappy synths and warm beats. Dirtybird favourite Shadow Dancer makes his first appearance on the imprint with his remix of 'Rockin' Beats'- bass-led and groovy with shuffling percussions, the track soon progresses into a perfect dose of nu-school house on a garage tip. The melodic keys and bouncing percussions are highly intoxicating and prove why the skillful producer has become a favourite amongst heavyweights including Eats Everything and Claude Von Stroke.

First up from a long term member of Classic family is Honey Dijon's remix of the Classic classic, DJ Ali's 'You Don't know' - A heavy garage lead stomp through techno meets Chez Damier - A main stay of Luke's set recently and one of the biggest records at Jamie Jone's Paradise night at DC10 that Luke recently frequented alongside another monstrous record from DJ Parrot(Crooked Man) and Mark Brydon (Moloko). Under the guise of Knights of the Hunted, Parrot & Mark deliver 'X The Beat' - it stomps its way through Storm Queen meets Sylvester. Getting an official digital release on Girls later on in the year, Classic get the privilege of releasing it exclusively on vinyl.
A welcome return to Classic for Narcoleptic who delivers some deep garage that has already been getting love from Matt Tolfrey and by no means finally, new to the family come BiteOfire who get the remix love from Berlin residing Kris Wadsworth.

Ralf GUM proves again with his new album that there is constancy - and consistency - to be found in this fast-moving world. In amongst a flood of half-baked, plastic-sounding music, his soulful sound almost seems like an anomaly. 'Never Leaves You' is testament to the fact that Ralf GUM has stayed true to his roots and his particular, well-honed style. Never one to skimp on the perfection of his arrangements, or sacrifice artful production to follow the latest trends, this album is his opus.
Since the start of Ralf GUM's musical career, he's tirelessly praised the importance of real songs, as opposed to simple, dancefloor-oriented productions and his new outing is homage to 'the song'. While many categories and styles could be foisted on it as a description, 'dancefloor soul music' is probably the best summation of the long-player. Featuring an extensive list of top musicians, the music on the album is far from the average programmed dance 'track'. And the impressive list of vocalists on the record means that, while it's absolutely dancefloor-relevant, it'll also warm the hearts of home listeners.
These vocalists include some huge-hitters, such as two-time Grammy Award-winning British R&B and soul singer Caron Wheeler, who gained fame writing and singing the lead vocals on two of Soul II Soul's biggest hits, "Keep on Movin'" and "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)". Her collab with Ralf - entitled 'So Good' - is her first ever real House track and is evidence of her outstanding talent. Monique Bingham (with whom Ralf recorded 'Kissing Strangers' in 2008 - the best-selling house track of the year on Traxsource) proves on 'Take Me To My Love' that she's still the first lady of deep lyrics in House music, while Oluhle (who was born in Zimbabwe and won the Zimbabwean Achievers Award for Best Female Artist in 2011) really makes her presence felt in such royal company. Ditto Canadian Jaidene Veda, who's already seduced a number of heavyweight producers and countless listeners around the globe with her breathy voice.
The male faction of singers includes 'the voice of house music', Robert Owens, who features on 'Fly Free', the first single taken from the album which was a huge hit on download charts and playlists across the planet. Furthermore, 'the king of Gospel House', Kenny Bobien, contributes two songs to the album, and Kafele delivers his second joint outing with Ralf, following their highly successful 2010 release 'Complicated'. In addition to these, Ralf GUM has recorded with one of France's finest voices Jocelyn Mathieu, who gained fame for his releases on Vega Records and collaborated with highly talented soul singer, Jon Pierce. He completes a list of sterling singers that just prove Ralf's relevance as one of the most sought-after international soulful house producers. This new long-player showcases the growth of this incredible artist, who never compromised and never left his signature style. Ten songs in which there's much to hear and feel. The music abounds in soul; it's jaunty and deep simultaneously. Combining traditional and contemporary elements whilst still being futuristic, it's well crafted enough to Never Leave You.

Having circled around in the digital realm for some time, Steven J finally touches down onto wax with a proper release of his own, bringing a freaky, bumping brand of deep house that stands apart from the glut of smoother styles being mined at present. "Groove Your World" boasts surreal pads that create an overall delirious vibe, only bolstered by the off-kilter choice of vocal snippets and occasional thunder cracks. Medlar's remix finds its way into that swinging shuffle that he's made his name on thus far, with some smooth keys to boot. "Let Me Know" works off some bold chords before meandering off in an altogether different direction, and "You Got My Time" clatters along with a quintessential Chicago ruffness that leans heavily on the drums

Sccucci Manucci once again proves its dancefloor chops with its fifth release, the Cinquemila Lire EP, which sees the London based imprint curl its moustache in the direction of deep house. Manchester based duo Toyboy & Robin open proceedings with "No More Sunshine", an insouciant mix of soulful vocals, shuffling garage percussion and burning deep house organ stabs. It's a heady, intoxicating mix, and it's one that's matched on the A-Side by Sahin Meyer's effort; the husband and wife duo turn in the gorgeous "Spread Love", a cut that wrings every last drop of emotion out of a classic, drummy arrangement. Flip over for "Saif" by Illyus, a twinkling late night excursion into melodic, star gazing house, and "Feel Love" by Firas, one half of the Waze & Odyssey, who rounds off another killer Sccucci 12-inch with raw-thentic smacky beats and an addictive loopy vocal and bassline.
