In the search for the "perfect moment" DJ KISS is 20 years behind the "Wheels of Steel" and leaves the crowd on the Dancefloor to share his spirit.

First up is '92; a straight up jacking deep house number with, as the title suggests, a retro flavour. The deep repetitive pads are jacked up with 'Amen break' style drums that were used so widely in electronic music back in the 90s. Some quirky synth lines and vocal licks here and there give the track its touch of soul and then a fat bass line to bring in the bottom end. High quality simple yet effective house music...

On the flip we have Mia, another jacking deep house cut with a more prominent vocal but the same retro feel. This track goes for a classic minor chord riff which builds, drops, twists and turns but with the decorum to make it smooth and groovy. This is once again simple and effective house music with the dance floor in mind.

On remix duty we've drafted in Poland's latest stars Pol_on who give their take on '92. They show their skills with clever manipulation of the original samples and a brave saw tooth bass that stands out from the crowd of 'done to death' noises flooding the market at the moment. Adding in some atmospheric movie pads and skippy percussion, this remix is simply a treat and has sat firmly in our DJ sets from the moment we received it.

Last up we're delighted to have Olivier Mateu a.k.a Rodriguez Jr taking the reigns on the remix of Mia. Focusing on the vocal, he brings his signature sound to the table that we've grown to love from tracks like his remix of Felix Cage's Masquerade. As with the Pol_on remix it's a breath of fresh air amongst the current sounds that are fighting each other for a place in people's record box.

As the story goes Ame & Dixon heard Osunlade play 'Envision' out in America, were completely bowled over by it, rushed the DJ booth and immediately asked to remix and release it. They did and it turned out to be quite possibly the biggest record of 2011. To coincide with the release of the Osunlade In The House compilation Defected have re-released the record with brand new remixes ensuring that this summer will be once again dominated by the vocal sounds of 'Envision'.

Argy's vocal and dub take things into classic mid 90's new York-esque territory; Garage sounding bass line, looped vocal intro... if you didn't know any better you'd be forgiven for thinking that was from the hand of a certain Mark Kinchen.

The original mix takes us to a funky-sexy journey, followed by a deep bass-line hook. The track keeps on growing till the main vocal surprise reveals itself by the likes of Miss Kathy Diamond (also the lead singer of the successful band "The KDMS"); Beautiful and dreamy vocal wrapped with lush chords...perfect way to start your sunset escape.
