Haling from Asunción, LPZ's Ariel Soler, Javier Rodriguez and Jorge Carron have spent the past 4 years gradually putting Paraguay on the dance music map. For what's proving to be their watershed year, May saw the trio release the well-circulated '1983' EP via the Body Work imprint, shortly before delivering an era-themed mix for the fashion rag, Dazed & Confused. Now, following on from a recent collaboration with HyperDub's LV, the South American's make their debut on the long serving Loungin' Recordings.

Swink Music Records will turn one this month and we are delighted to celebrate our Anniversary with our first Vinyl release :) We've recruited the tnwo Mancunian's Si Jones & Mike Morgan, better known as the duo 'Si'Ke DJ's', part of the exciting new breed of electronic artists that are emerging from the U.K with releases already on well established labels such as Applique Music and Say Ahh! Records amongst others. We're proud to have them join 'Swink Music Records' with their brilliant 'Snap Back EP'.

With lead track 'Snap Back', the guys deliver another trademark masterpiece. Hypnotic Organ riff, groovy shuffled percussion with deep haunting chords with a real 90's feel to it makes a wonderfully warm dancefloor trip, proving once again why the duo are on the rise this year and deemed 'ones to watch' by an array of big labels.

Tenament Yard craftily uses a "Sade" vocal which effortlessly flows through the track meeting big heavy chords with a killer driving bassline. Already their work has been recognised and supported by the likes of Bryan "Agent" Pepper and Washerman, this is definitely a peak time track that will get the whole club bouncing.

On the B-side Alex Agore's take on 'Snap Back' grabs your attention with the instantly recognisable M1! Rounding of the EP is the remix from 'Malin Genie'. Another producer hot on the heels of Global success, this time from Amsterdam. Malin first caught our attention with huge tracks like 'Eye' and 'Aranoyas' both of which gained massive support on the underground House scene so it was an obvious choice to ask him to do a mix for us and he has not disappointed. A somewhat more relaxed approach that utilizes the parts well while catering for 2 step/garage fans a stripped back version of the original but still packing a mighty punch!

Legendary Dutch dance duo Chocolate Puma craft a two-disc mix spanning house, techno and everything in-between.
Gaston Steenkist and René ter Horst - aka Chocolate Puma - are two of Holland's most celebrated electronic producers. With a career spanning 20 years, 200-odd releases, two significant UK chart hits ('Give It Up' and 'I Wanna Be U') and countless remixes under their various guises they are a duo whose influence on the European dance music scene cannot be overstated.
Their latest project is an In The House mix for Defected, a compilation which represents the culmination of a life spent in and around house music. Including tracks from Chez Damier, Ben Westbeech, Claude von Stroke, Kraak & Smaak, Gregor Salto and many more, Chocolate Puma have remixed and re-edited almost every track, with an end result halfway between mix compilation and artist album.

Disco Bloodbath Recordings' third release drops this October with synth-beat duo G&S turning in 'The Green Man' EP featuring a remix from Soul Jazz, Comeme and DFA artist, Capracara.
Started just a few months back, Disco Bloodbath Recordings has already set its stall out as a label of note, with two wildly different releases from Damon Martin and Hand Plant doing the Disco Bloodbath name proud.
G&S, aka Nadia Ksaiba and Matt Waites, made a name for themselves at Our Disco and Liars Club that, along with Trash, helped with the resurgence of modern eclecticism around the turn of the century. The duo's previous releases were the formidable 'Show Me The Good Times' on Dissident and 'Portable Control' on Codek and now we're treated to the next instalment of weighty electronics.
The unmistakable punch of a Roland TR808 drives 'The Green Man' while jabbing tones add to the gritty foundation that slowly opens up into a stirring, electro-disco cut characterised by soaring strings and light chords.
Capracara takes a break from his Comeme label to deliver a buoyant, skipping house take on 'The Green Man' which stays true to the originals vibe but toys with the energy playfully via some nifty arranging and subtle atmospherics.
Finally, 'Dirk Bogarde' cuts an imposing yet bright figure. Cascading white noise, juddering toms and delayed crescendos all add to an already brilliantly melodic track that shows off countless influences.
