Norwegian electronic pioneer Lindstrøm returns with Sirius Syntoms – seven tracks of melodic, cosmic disco and shimmering synth grooves. This album marks a more focused and open sound than his previous work, with warm analog textures, pulsating rhythms, and hypnotic basslines at the core.

'Primordial Slot Machine' is full to the brim with their trademark genre-bending, apocalyptic disco and more seditious one liners than you can shake a stick at. Milton Wright's perfect deep Soul classic "Keep It Up" has always been a top shelf record, everything about it is almost flawless! Whether it's Milton's silky vocal delivery, the incessant guitar driven back beat or the total space Funk vibe of his omnipresent ARP-2600 synthesizer this record has it all. Originally released on TK Disco's more Soul and Funk orientated Alston label which was home to many legendary artists and records, this 1975 sunshine classic never fails to make people move. A classic rare groove indeed. "The Silence That You Keep" takes up side-B, a jazzy, flute driven love song that again features Milton's perfect voice and some fantastic arrangement. A real gem of a record, with the original 45 changing hands for over £100 a time in used condition.

This is the first time "Keep It Up" has been re-issued in it's original 45 rpm format with the original Alston label artwork. It's been re-mastered, re-pressed and made available again with the permission of TK Disco / Alston Records, Miami Florida, USA.

Daje Funk have been continuing their quest to re-invent funk for the modern dance-floor with some seriously outstanding quickfire releases. Their recent editions featuring some of the edit scenes stand-out artists including De Gama, Les Inferno, DJ Rocca and The Funk District are must haves.

Next in line for the Daje Funk release treatment is their Daje Cutz Vol. 1, their first three track EP. It features one of the hottest breakthrough names on the scene in several years Monsieur Van Pratt alongside Pina Edit’s heads Matalo! and Paul Older who puts in another star appearance. It’s another 10” which any self respecting selector will need to add to their collection of modern funk re-imaginings.

First up is Monsieur Van Pratt with ‘Feeling Funky’. If ever there was a track name which summed up a track then that was it. Huge brass stabs underpinned by funk fuelled wah guitar make way for an outstanding diva soul vocal. It’s a track which ebbs and flows perfectly building up to a stand out piano solo. This is unashamed
dancefloor gold from a producer who will be one of the leading lights for some years to come of the strength of his recent releases.

Next up is the carnival boogie of Matalo!’s ‘Jito’. You can feel and taste the energy dripping off this track as it dances around you decorating you with coulourful necklaces and filling your pockets with doubloons. It’s a track which elicits radiant colours and warmth.
Closing the EP out is the ever reliable Paul Older who has been behind some serious dancefloor gems over the last 12 months. Here he delves into some deep soul infused funk with ‘Faces’. Right from the first bass notes this is a track which it is impossible not to dance to. Building a hypnotic groove it soon works its way towards a fierce vocal. Cue dancefloor scenes galore.

The legendary Daniele Baldelli began to propose the two Azymuth’s tracks taken from the album ‘Light As A Feather’ in his DJ sets at Discoteca Cosmic the two Azymuth’s tracks taken from the album ‘Light As A Feather’ the same year in which they were released: 1979. And a trace of this has remained in his legendary mixed tapes of those years.

Today he remixes and models them as he deems most suited to a Cosmic DJ set.

After an extended break from vinyl releases, Mothball Record is back with a long awaited Italo-disco reissue.

A longtime passion project of label owner Hysteric, “Take Me… Mr Love” is something of a unique entry in the later years of Italo-disco, forgoing the typically smooth and processed sound in favour of a rough and low budget production, making up in charm what it lacks in polish.

The release is completed by a powerful remix from the Dutch Italo sensation Luca Dell’Orso. Coming off the back of a string of successful releases on Bordello A Parigi, Red Laser Records and Ritmo Fatale, here he brings new life into the track and takes it into well and truly to the dancefloor.

Laurence Guy returns to Shall Not Fade for his eighth release on the label, this time teaming up with friend & musical collaborator J. Peacock.

Berlin based producer and trombonist Youarei (Uri Selinger) and producer/instrumentalist Wandara (Idan Amos) team up on this increasingly unmissable label's third release, a slow motion dark disco affair that rumbles like stormy skies, complete with eerie pitched down vocals giving it a truly chilling edge. Flip it over and you'll find 'Mangal Remangaled', the remix from Ma Ze regulars UV & Nenor, adding more hypnotic chug to its atmosphere and some 'live voodoo drums' without compromising an inch of the original's spooky charm/menace. Funkyjaws Music is back to make your body move with the latest instalment in its ongoing edit series, Let's Dance, this time with a sixth sizzling volume. Monsieur Van Pratt's loose and languid 'Besame' opens up with some gorgeous strings and funky guitar licks then Kiko Navarro brings a rich Afro flavour with the shuffling and percussive rhythms of 'Bosinga'. Bogdan Ra's 'Get On The Floor' is a fresh take on a disco classic with irresistible vocal charm and swooning pads. Last of all, Zaffa demands you 'Shake It' and you surely will as he layers up wet claps, sliding hi-hats and lively drums into a big-hearted party starter.

Founded in 1979 in Sesto San Giovanni by Roberto Fusar Poli, Il Disco o began as a small, family-run record store, quickly evolving into a hub for imported music and a pioneer in the "disco dance" genre.

By 1981, it had expanded into music distribu/on and produc/on, aligning with the rise of Italo Disco—a genre blending synth-pop and electronic disco inspired by ar/sts like Giorgio Moroder and Bobby Orlando. Its first release, "I'm A Vocoder" by Gay Cat Park, marked the start of a prolific catalog that included hits like "You Are A Danger" by Gary Low and "Comanchero" by Raggio Di Luna, cemen/ng Il Disco o’s reputa/on in Italy and abroad.

At its peak, the label produced up to one record a day and distributed interna/onal hits like "Don’t You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds.

Daniel Monaco and John Noseda join forces for Alektra, a new project born out of a deep love for Hi-NRG and raw 808 sounds. Renowned for their dj sets, trips that delve into tropical obscurities, Chicago jack and Rimini romances, the pair have channelled a unique blend of untamed house and shimmering italo melodies into pure dancefloor euphoria. Their debut release, “Shake Your Body,” drops on Bordello A Parigi. Neon synthwork is punctured by clean punches of percussion, scaling melodies set firmly in the golden analogue era. Key stabs drive the track with Only Bee’s honeyed lyrics pushing the energy levels higher. In true 1980s anthem form, the flip is dedicated to the instrumental with the synthesizers and their hypnotic melodies taking centre stage: Alektra’s machines smouldering with fiery intensity. That same intensity closes, Only Bee’s mellifluous vocals given the limelight for the acapella close. Dancefloor definitions redefined. Welcome to Alektra.

The 11th release on Random Vinyl finds Pax Romax featuring Brian Ice paying to respect to an original masterpiece while also serving it up for a new generation of ears. First up is the extended remix of 'Fade To Grey' which is a deep and cosmic disco workout with libidinous vocals. '2067' is a second production by Pax Romax that layers up jittery arps and twirling pads with a low-slung disco groove. The "Steve's Strange mix" is a codeine paced retro-future disco trip with standout synths and the Master Mix is more airy with lush pads up top was made by the late great Marc Hartman who passed away in August 2024 at only 58 years of age and serves as "Marc's epic swan song as we say, in Dutch," explains his label partner.

However, as a result of the Anangu’s resilience, care and staunchness, huge changes took place in the national park around Uluru as well as in the broader public's consciousness, giving again to the Uluru the sacred identity that had been lost.

The hope of seeing humans all around the world following the example of the Anangu. Following reissues for Rush Hour & Studio Mule, Sound Of Vast present "A Love From Tokyo 1991-2003," a collection of work from Japanese artist, Hiroshi Mastui.

The album features ten tracks produced between 1991 and 2003, and includes material reissued for the first time and previously unreleased treasures from his own 'WANT YOU! Records'.

The album opens with two first-time reissues, an emotional piano house anthem, "Crazy Love," which appeared on the CD mini-album "Call You Back," released in 1991 on Japanese major label 'Alfa Music', and the breakbeat house banger "Call You Back”. The opening track soon makes you realize that Hiroshi’s music is timeless. “Little Bit Of Our Love" (1993) and “Super Love” (2003), featuring Japanese vocalist Suzi Kim, who also appears in "(Earth In) Blue" (1999), resemble that euphoria of the first golden age of House music in the 1990s. While "Love Luv Rendez-vous" (1994) and "Dancing On Mars" (2003) are direct descendants of the sounds of early Chicago House music. The bustling arrangement of the anthem track “Samba De Howa Howa" (1992) and jacking acid house track "Tsun-Ban-Tsun-Yeah" will drive even the modern-day floor to its peak. The album concludes with the long-awaited, previously unreleased "Love Me One More Time" (produced in 1993).

Professionally Hiroshi Matsui is a 'career musician' who has written and arranged countless commercial music/songs/pop songs since 1986. The tracks in this album are pure dance music that was independently produced and released spontaneously in parallel with his day job. Underground house fans are familiar that "Howa," licensed to King Street, appeared on "Sounds Of Far East Dance Music - Compilation Vol 1" (1993), along with Soichi Terada's "Sun Shower" and other tracks. His excellent works became highly sought after in the second-hand market. Alongside the reissues mentioned above and "ハウス (House) Once Upon A Time In Japan..." (2015), produced by Brawther & Alixkun, his tracks are starting to be revived on modern dancefloors.

The tracks on the compilation are heavily influenced by US House music from the same period, and also display Hiroshi’s distinct melodic sense and compositional ability composer/arranger that he developed through his musical career. It seems as if we have heard it somewhere before, but at the same time, it also sounds completely new. In other words, his work invites you to a unique musical experience, as if looking back on a parallel past, and it is through this experience that we may find LOVE - the theme of his work.

Hiroshi Matsui は1986年以降から現在に至るまで、多数のコマーシャル音楽/歌謡曲/ポップスの作編曲を行っている「職業音楽家」だ。本作に収録されている楽曲は、その職業音楽家としての活動と並行してゲリラ的に自主制作・発売されていた、ダンス・ミュージック群だ。そのうちの一つ、1992年に限定300枚プレスでリリースしていた"Samba De Howa Howa"が、King Street にライセンスされ『Sounds Of Far East Dance Music - Compilation Vol 1』(1993年) にSoichi Teradaの"Sun Shower" 等と共に収録されたことは、アンダーグラウンドなハウス・ファンの知るところだろう。彼のリリースはその内容と希少性から、中古市場でカルト的な人気を獲得。そして、先述の復刻盤やBrawther & Alixkunが監修した『ハウス Once Upon A Time In Japan...』(2015年) を経て、現代のフロアに蘇りつつあった。

本作には、初復刻となる楽曲や、これまで未公開であった自身の〈WANT YOU!! Cinthie launched the 803 Crystal Grooves imprint in 2018 with the aim to showcase a new direction for her productions musically, she’d just built her own studio and invested her time and money into a collection of vintage drum machines and synthesizers, enabling her to create the sounds she’s loved and desired to create for many years.

The results led to heavy support from an array of producers and DJ’s and Cinthie’s dance floor focused sound continues to evolve and unfold here with the labels third release.
‘Australian Summer’ opens the package, a Balearic tinged house cut featuring sun drenched pad melodies, bubbling arpeggios and choppy bass stabs alongside organic drums. ‘Infinity’ follows next with bright chord sequences and crisp 909 drums.

‘This Bomb Is Mine’ leads the B-side, taking a more disco-tinged approach this time with filtered string loops, billowing vocal murmurs and shuffled drums before ‘Rave Like Noone Is Watching’ then completes the package, as the name would suggest a highoctane workout designed for the peak-time with gritty rave stabs, penetrating drums and resonant acid licks.

More ultra rare disco-soul from the sunshine state! Phillip Wright only dropped 1 45 single under his own name on TK Disco`s tiny Dash label in 1976. Long sought after & coveted by lovers of rare disco & modern soul "keep her happy" has never been reissued in its original 45 format, until now!

Often fetching around the $200 mark for a used copy this sublime slice of funk deserves to be heard by a wider audience, sadly Phillip never achieved the commercial success of his sister Betty but perhaps now this obscure single of his will make people hit the dancefloor in 2015!

On the other side, B1 transports you to the euphoric summers of the early 90s UK rave scene with a genuine stomper. The 12’’ concludes with B2, a tribute to a recently departed figure who made a lasting impact on the rock and post-disco eras.
