On its tenth anniversary outing, Sofia Records doesn’t just mark a milestone - it distills its essence in a four track EP. The compilation reunites the original, 25 year strong, pBPM crew and the fresh talent of Impe´rieux.

KiNK delivers a dancefloor juggernaut “Let The Bass Kink” - raw, kinetic and unmistakably his.
KEi counters with “Killing God Theme“ - a deep, hypnotic slow-burner, rich in emotion that evolves with patient intensity. Then we have the debut of Tegav - a new alias from the pBPM forming member Kalin Baychev with “Stomper“ - an edgy melody on top of a percussive backroom swagger. Impe´rieux, ever the outlier, continues his quest for dance music’s future with “Jarka”, a leftfield yet playful groove that breaks convention while rattling the floor.

With a smiling family snapshot, framed in smoke, strobe light and sweat, Sofia shows how to throw the needle where it matters - squarely pointed to the future.

Cinthie launched the 803 Crystal Grooves imprint in 2018 with the aim to showcase a new direction for her productions musically, she’d just built her own studio and invested her time and money into a collection of vintage drum machines and synthesizers, enabling her to create the sounds she’s loved and desired to create for many years.

The results led to heavy support from an array of producers and DJ’s and Cinthie’s dance floor focused sound continues to evolve and unfold here with the labels third release.
‘Australian Summer’ opens the package, a Balearic tinged house cut featuring sun drenched pad melodies, bubbling arpeggios and choppy bass stabs alongside organic drums. ‘Infinity’ follows next with bright chord sequences and crisp 909 drums.

‘This Bomb Is Mine’ leads the B-side, taking a more disco-tinged approach this time with filtered string loops, billowing vocal murmurs and shuffled drums before ‘Rave Like Noone Is Watching’ then completes the package, as the name would suggest a highoctane workout designed for the peak-time with gritty rave stabs, penetrating drums and resonant acid licks.

After the first Freedom Dance release “Earth on Faya/Is This The Future” already sold-out, we are glad to present the new Gigi Testa tracks taken from his unreleased materials and produced during this pandemic period.

Atlantis on A side is a raw house track created with only two elements: one drum machine and one synthesizer, this composition will take you deep exploring the underwater world;

Agua Fluida on B side is a bouncing gem including myriad of melodic
elements drums and sound efx creating a fluid percussive flow.

Staples of Nerang; Ole Mic Odd and Grey People melt together in the 5 track EP.

Ole goes in hard showcasing his diversity in the music scene. This guy is on a hot tip, catch while you can! Grey People follows on the B also showing he's not shy of making the lush dreamy number but then he brings it home on the final track with a classic Grey People belter

The mysterious Kayroy returns to Whiskey Disco for his second EP of 2019. Fans of his first EP will find more of the same, a raw, pastiche of samples glued together into a package of hands-up disco fire.

'Rosella' rolls along with a natural tendency to groove underpinned by trippy effects and classic piano and vocal riffs. 'You’re the Reason Why', lowers the tempo and amps up the vibes.

The B-Side is a sped-up departure from previous Kayroy fare, but sounds just as natural. 'Silk & Satin' seems like the type of track one might hear in nearly any Harvey set, while 'One Night in Prague' raised the tempo and will have your pulse racing with its relentless bass.

Being somewhat part of the Raw Soul Family from the very beginning, be it as part of our record collections or as guest DJ at our very first party, a record was just the natural thing do. Therefore we are super stoked to announce that no one less then Washerman, a man we admire both artistically and personally, will be responsible for the next contribution to our imprint.

The highly anticipated second issue of the Dancer anthology by Pauli Steinbach,
Sascha Dive and Patrick Kunkel centres on one of the most quoted vocal samples in the history of house music. It is a
homage to Soul Train, Paradise Garage and other hot spots from the initial period of electronic dance music in the early
80s. Pauli and Sascha dance through the glitzy portal of Soul Train, a relaxed deep disco hymn where even the saxophone
samples fit like the icing on the cake.
Pauli and Sascha do this in a funky way and with the modernized kinky understanding that is characteristic for Dancer.
The remix on the flip side produced by Pauli in cooperation with Patrick ventures a little further from the original sound structures. It presents itself as a kindred handclaps orgy with borrowings from
acid disco. "Come on, spread yourself over me like peanut butter", but of course -- with pleasure.

Introducing ACID JAZZ’s first release of 2020 coming out on our newest subsidiary label Fingier Records, dedicated exclusively to the Soul, R&B, Boogaloo and Raw Funk productions from the Argentinean producer Kevin Fingier. After many years DJing and promoting Soul & Mod culture in Argentina, the co-founder of the Buenos Aires Soul Club decided to give a twist to his versatile production career and start to produce Soul and R&B recordings.

To achieve this, he gathered together a house band called The Kevin Fingier Collective and experimented with recording techniques used fifty years ago to get an analogue sound that’ll take you to straight to the 60s. For the first limited edition single Kevin brought back the legendary Northern Soul singer Gerri Granger, to sing on the A-side track Don't Wanna Cry No More - a Soul/Funk tune with a huge R&B influence. On the flip side there’s a killer Mod Jazz instrumental called Sunglasses After Dark Part 1.

Jakarta/Indonesia based DJ/Producer/Akamady Records boss Gerhan Ferdinal & friend's project "KOMODO" made 2x floor killer tunes. Many people have been waiting for this 12" since Ene boss CHIDA played "Night Time" at his Boiler Room show in 2014. And "Make It Scream" is massive & heavy killer tune too. After his debut in 2014 in a compilation for the thirtieth anniversary of “Madrid City Breaker” in which appear illustrious producers from the electro scene as ERP, Luke Eargoggle and Boris Divider among others Gladio Operations launches its first EP with “Flight to Anywhere” produced by the duo from Madrid UHF also owners of the label along with Luis Elesox.

This first reference includes three original cuts, with a mix of tunes that range from cosmic-atmospheric as “Flight to Anywhere” to raw and acid from “Reality” and “Inner Flight” a cut with a touch of IDM with well molded and surrounding textures. The pack concludes with an excellent remix from the classic English producer Scape One who adds a simple and elegant twist to the original track.

Recalling a tribal sound, not heard since the late 90s, the aesthetic is updated with more modern production values. Mount Liberation Unlimited strikes back! After releases on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space label and everyone's favourite oddball house institution Studio Barnhus, the swedish duo, consisting of Tom Lagerman and Niklas Janzon, land on planet Permanent Vacation.

"Body Language" is the fifth release for MLU and you can feel that they have been places and come some ways, since their debut ep in 2014: This Ode to dancing sees Lagerman and Janzon heading into more pop-y territories than before. "The Swedish Version" is a full on pop disco track with rich instrumentation and infectious vocals that underline MLU's status as one of the best disco and house live acts around these days. While the "Mouth Mix" is the Swedish interpretation of Chicago House and gets even more physical with its drum-heavy beats and computerized vocals. For your Karaoke party and to round up the package, we also included the instrumental of the "Swedish Version". Rocka Din Kropp!

Marco Spaventi and MOS label head Aroy Dee link up for another of their intriguing collaborations. They have done so before on this label back in 2012, and their latest offers another vital mix of raw house and ambient. Opener 'The Way We Love' features typically rough, blistered drums and sci-fi synths, but this time with a heavenly vocal and uplifting chords up top that tug on your heart strings. An ambient reprise of the same track is a perfect excuse to kick back and get lost in your own thoughts. 'The Way We Move' then takes a long view, with far-gazing Detroit pads and mid tempo drums getting you deep into a dreamy groove that is wide open and expansive. Last of all, Marco remixes this one on his own and flips it into something that is even more melodic, with circling pads and a musical bassline all making for a beautiful piece of timeless house music.
