One of the fastest rising underground stars of our generation, disco-house sensation Miguel Campbell makes a momentous come back on the Hot Creations imprint with two original tracks from his highly anticipated album with impressive remixes from Shadow Child and MAM.
Now one of the most sought after DJs and producers in the industry, it was Jamie
Jones and Lee Foss who first spotted the Leeds based Miguel Campbell and snapped him up with 'Baby I Got It,' which was released on the label in 2011. The release featured the astronomic 'Something Special', which became the biggest selling track on Beatport that year, now clocking over 4 million views on Youtube! Since then, Miguel has won a DJ Mag Best of British Award and has been releasing and remixing on other labels such as Wolf + Lamb and Outcross.
First up for this release, title track 'Rockin' Beats' featuring Naroe on vocals is a funk fuelled odyssey , filled with spacey electronic madness and showcasing Campbell's dexterous use of vocals adding extra dimensions as the vocoder Daft Punk style rapping rolls through the zappy synths and warm beats. Dirtybird favourite Shadow Dancer makes his first appearance on the imprint with his remix of 'Rockin' Beats'- bass-led and groovy with shuffling percussions, the track soon progresses into a perfect dose of nu-school house on a garage tip. The melodic keys and bouncing percussions are highly intoxicating and prove why the skillful producer has become a favourite amongst heavyweights including Eats Everything and Claude Von Stroke.

First up from a long term member of Classic family is Honey Dijon's remix of the Classic classic, DJ Ali's 'You Don't know' - A heavy garage lead stomp through techno meets Chez Damier - A main stay of Luke's set recently and one of the biggest records at Jamie Jone's Paradise night at DC10 that Luke recently frequented alongside another monstrous record from DJ Parrot(Crooked Man) and Mark Brydon (Moloko). Under the guise of Knights of the Hunted, Parrot & Mark deliver 'X The Beat' - it stomps its way through Storm Queen meets Sylvester. Getting an official digital release on Girls later on in the year, Classic get the privilege of releasing it exclusively on vinyl.
A welcome return to Classic for Narcoleptic who delivers some deep garage that has already been getting love from Matt Tolfrey and by no means finally, new to the family come BiteOfire who get the remix love from Berlin residing Kris Wadsworth.

Their first release from this new label from the highly popular and eclectic music blog "Feel My Bicep" follows on a similar vein to previous chart-topping single $tripper, deeply inspired by their love of the early US house.

Joyce Muniz is a Vienna-based, Brazilian Dj, vocalist and producer. Muniz was introduced to us by Maya Jane Coles and we are proud to increase our female talent at the label. Joyce is currently one of the leaders of a new style which fuses European club sounds with rhythmic influences from South America and the Caribbean. She has collaborated with Stereotyp, Louie Austen and Munk, and her solo outings for Exploited have been getting rave reviews.
Her debut 2020 EP could well be her best set of tracks yet and sees her collaborating with Knixx for a classic slice of deep, vocal house in the title track 'Drop In Pressure'. Joyce is also on hand with a couple of bonus underground versions (digital release only) of this track in the sleazier Purple Hills mix and the stripped down Mystic Dub. She flexes her production muscles further on a couple of excellent melodic, dubby club tracks on 'Wanna Be There' and 'Calm Before The Storm' which both showcase her smooth house styles.

With its title track heralded as 'ESSENTIAL NEW TUNE' by Jamie Jones & Seth Troxler on BBC's Radio 1, Shall Ocin's 'Tribute To Summertime' EP on Leftroom is tipped to be a crucial asset in record crates this autumn.This is Shall Ocin aka Nicolas Abalos' second offering for the Leftroom label following the brilliant Left'd released 'Moving On Powerdigger' earlier this year. With a natural talent and an ear for musicality this is clearly the onset of a fruitful career for this young producer.Ocin displays his dance floor sensibilities here, skilfully blending samples from George Gershwin's 1935 classic 'Summertime' with electronic sounds to create a refreshing contemporary cut in 'Tribute To Summertime'. New Jersey is a new record label formed by Mike Simonetti (founder of Italians Do It Better). As Italians becomes more insular in sound and scope, Mike decided to start a new low-key label to release more dancefloor friendly music, and to focus on Mike's many solo side projects. The first 12" release on New Jersey is one of these projects - the Carl Sagan based group called Billions & Billions. Mike formed Billions & Billions with vocalist Monty Luke (Black Catalogue), and the mission was to replicate the peak hour downtown NYC vibes of the late 80's and early 90s's. Walk into any of the infamous clubs at that time (Mars, Building, Palladium, Nasa) and you would hear dark brooding house played on massive systems. This is Billions & Billions tribute to the golden age on NYC.

Citizen is having quite a year. Already a firm favourite on the London party circuit after appearances at Secretsundaze Go Bang, Oscillate Wildly, Love Fever & Black Atlantic, he has unleashed his brand of early 90s influenced House music by way of MadTech & the nascent Love Fever labels to great acclaim.
Online support has been strong, with Dazed, XLR8R, RA & Dummy all showing love, and a gig diary that is getting busier and busier. His records have regularly found their way into sets by Bicep, Mosca, Soul Clap, Jimmy Edgar & he is fast becoming a fixture on Benji B's Radio 1 show.

This latest EP from UK punk-funk outfit Gramme represents the final release in the run up to the debut album due out this November. The EP opens with Girls Talk, which witnesses the band occupying curious new territory with lead vocalist Sam Taylor's playground taunt playing hard-to-get with am addictive groove.Next up is Face To Face which is the sound of Gramme at the wheel mixing in the spookiness of David Byrne and Brian Eno voodoo jamming. It's Magic performs a welcome surprise by mixing lo-slung funk with a bubble pop vocal. The EP comes to a shuddering grand finale with Two Minds - the most electronic track to date mixing dreamy vocals with cut back spikes of machine funk - this is the sound of Gramme's very own production team getting sweaty in a late night studio session in deep, dark SE London. There is simply no denying it. It's official: Gramme are back.

Chicken Lips are back with a new release on Southern Fried Records. D.R.O.M.P (Don't Rain On My Parade) is a disco inspired groove that draws on the NYC eighties vibe that has always been at the heart of the Lips work, with guest vocalist Charmaine making up the line up on this outing.
It comes with a stunning set of remixes, as always Andy from the Lips has created an Emperor Machine interpretation that's darker and more cosmic than its original, Dean does the same job under his The Rhythm Odyssey moniker, providing a jerky acidic house dub for the deeper floors. Old pal Headman turns in his classic slo-mo tight grooves, new kids Amine Edge & Dance go deep as you like in the same vein as their Diynamic releases and finally SFR favourite Sona Vabos delivers one of his finest remixes to date, with this bouncy floor filler.
In 1999 Andrew Meecham and Dean Meredith formed Chicken Lips. The original idea was to seek underground salvation and immerse themselves in the musical styles that they grew up with and loved. Together they also made up the seminal early nineties dance act Bizarre Inc who scored 3 top ten national hits, toured the world and worked with some of the biggest names around, delivering genre defining remixes along the way.
2003 saw brethren Stevie Kotey join the lips, with Stevie on board to fulfill DJ and tour duties and help compile the now classic DJ Kicks for !K7. In 2005 the final piece of the jigsaw was added in the form of long time friend and collaborator Jonny Spencer aka Jonny Tonic. This is when they created the masterpiece 'He Not In', a track that has been played the world over, and described as 'the bass line that changed House Music' and 'A game changer'. Its dubhouse sound did make a big impact on the scene and continues to work on the floor today, inspiring many of the bassline led deep house that's taken over the world!
As well as working under the Chicken Lips moniker they also record together as Big200, Zeefungk & Randee Jean. Solo projects include The Rhythm Odyssey/Mind fair/White light Circus (Dean), The Emperor Machine/ Sir Drew/Grand Corporation (Andy). Their approach to production is quite simply unique! Andy is an avid collector and owner of some of the most sought after synthesizers known to man. His studio is more akin to a synthesizer museum rather than studio hub. Dean is a seasoned Producer/programmer & DJ with an acute eye for detail.
Their debut album 'Echoman' was in many ways ahead of it's time drawing on eighties NYC influences. It sounds as current now (if not more so) than what it did back in 1999. The second album 'Extended play' includes the underground hit single 'He Not In'. 'Making Faces' was the third released in 2006 with vocalist Jonny spencer and a final fourth LP 'Experience Of Malfunction' on their Lipservice imprint. Since then the collective has been busy with solo projects, making babies and touring all over the world. Now the original dynamic production duo of Andy Meecham & Dean Meredith are ready to unleash their new Audio carnival on your ears!.

Two years after his stunning debut "Here Today Gone Tomorrow", Fritz Kalkbrenner takes the next huge step in his career with his second album "Sick Travellin". Coming hot on the heels of his "Suol Mates" compilation in March, a mixtape infused with an eclectic variety of genres - from soul to funk, from hip hop to house, Fritz now takes all these influences and ideas, fusing them together to a sound that is ever so powerful and distinctively his own.
The thirteen tracks on the new LP, produced in the only recently finished Suol-Studios in Berlin Kreuzberg, have a more organic, mature sound than those on the debut. More vocals, more live instruments like Rhodes, Bass and Guitar, recorded by some of the best studio musicians around, and Fritz's trademark grainy, "breathing" samples. Basically, a whole lot of Suol! Pardon me: Soul."Sick Travellin" playfully guides the listener from bittersweet melancholy and classical songwriting to loose, dreamy dancefloor moments. Vocal tracks like "Get A Life", "Little By Little", "No Peace Of Mind" and last but definitely not least, his cover version of Gil Scott-Heron's "Willing" (recorded in the same session as Fritz's Bill Withers cover "Ruby Lee" for the Suol Mates compilation) once again showcase Fritz Kalkbrenner's extraordinary talent as a vocalist and his incredible gift for embedding pop songs into beautifully crafted house music frames.
But that's not all: the albums more forward tunes like "Square Heart", "Monte Rosa" or the club anthem "Hummin' Hills" will trigger waves of euphoria on the dancefloors all around the globe.
The limited deluxe edition of the CD album comes with a bonus track and 6 page digipac. Both CD versions include a 12 page poster booklet. The double vinyl is beautifully packaged in a 4 page gatefold sleeve.

Finally 'Pending' opens with xylophone style keys, off kilter hats and a host of enchanting percussive sounds, reminiscent of far eastern influence. A more
synthesized lead line enters the mix before a classical piano piece, courtesy of Kate Simko, ensure that the abstract, jazz-like aesthetic that features throughout the release remains.
Ultimately, what Crosson & Merveille have made is nothing less than dance music for intellectuals, a unity of thought and feeling, poetry for bodies in motion.

The Gomma label looks to Venezuelan Grammy winners Los Amigos Invisibles and the ever-excellent Dimitri From Paris for their latest single, a cover of the Chaz Jankel classic 'Glad to Know you' backed with a remix from Ray Mang Los Amigos Invisibles have had an all-encompassing career taking them from the streets of Caracas, Venezuela in the early nineties to the stage of the Grammy awards in 2010 via just about every corner of the globe. Along the way they hooked up with legendary DJ/Producer, Dimitri from Paris who met them through Louie Vega in New York, Dimitri went on to produce their 'Venezuela Superpop' album as well as featuring the outfit on his own recordings. Now the Los Amigos Invisibles/Dimitri pairing is back for a brand new single on Germany's leading eclectic electronic label Gomma.'Glad to Know You' was originally a big hit for funk heavyweight & Ian Dury collaborator Chaz Jankel in 1982, now Los Amigos Invisibles and Dimitri From Paris take up the reigns with a cover version that is both true to the original and unique. Heavily delayed drums, warm bass and swirling FX roll around the funk laden guitar licks, uplifting keys and infectious vocals to create an instant floorfilling classic. For those who prefer things a little less vocal, there is a superb instrumental to accompany the original.To complete the package remix duties are handed over to UK production powerhouse Ray Mang who delivers an epic, near eleven minute long dub version that has Balaeric classic written all over it, quality stuff!

Just One Touch has been a long time coming but it emerges as a classic ode to house past and present. Porto based producer Social Disco Club was sat on the track for two years before Miss Bee added her dusky vocals. Frayed and taught with emotion, her voice works in harmony with the gritty analogue sounds that drive the track.Where the original demands attention, the instrumental version shows a more subtle route to the floor. Tucked away on the b2, the absence of the full vocal allows the weighty drums and Detroit influences to come to the fore. With space to breathe the elements of the track begin to shine; restrained pads become expansive and the gurgling bass line rises to the fore. On remix duty are Parisian duo The Mekanism and Melbourne's man of the moment Francis Inferno Orchestra. The French pair weigh in with an upfront interpretation, working in some modern bounce to the feel good 90s vibe of the original.Where The Mekanism straighten out Just One Touch to create a smooth, effective DJ tool, Francis Inferno shakes things up, adding an element of chaos with his Piano Jam remix. Unhinged keys frequently break through spacey atmospherics, falling away to place emphasis on drums that beat assertively between house and techno.Under The Shade confidently cover all the bases here, with a standout original and reworkings from a pair of fast-rising young production outfits able to deconstruct the influences poured into their sources.

Deep Edition Recordings 2nd wax pressing welcomes a newcomer to the label in the form of Acasual, a secretive producer, artist and designer originally from Luxembourg and now based in Germany, has been heavily influenced by the city's underground House & Techno culture. Acasual is a project focusing, among others, on music production without any limitations or specific genres, taking its inspiration from art in general. His sound is Melodic and very expressive and always searching to keep it simple. The Blue Ep lays down 2 very cool deep house tracks with a great selection of vocals and grooves.
On Remix duties we are excited to welcome Matches, this guy is already very popular from his tracks and remixes with Danny Daze and after featuring on Noir, Toolroom, Defected & Draft this guy is literally about to blow up onto the scene in a big way! His style of cool crisp and really well produced house has seen him making big waves from over in Miami and with this remix he is on form, taking the lead track from the depths of deep into a mainroom groover.
On the B-side Martijn label head and artist of Neurotraxx Deluxe & Save Room provides a remix of 'Still Got It' adding a touch of pace to the slowed vocal track and dubbing down the vocal giving the lush use of chords time to breath and roll over the new added groove.
