GOGO Music keeps at it with this stunning and real heartfelt song titled 'Never', which gave Ralf GUM's album 'Never Leaves You' its name. Featuring Chicagoan crooner Jon Pierce and Kafele on trumpet and background vocals, the song received much praise since the long-player was released. Finally it receives its single release with remixes by no one less than the legendary Louie Vega.

To showcase the exciting release schedule Young Turks have throughout 2013, the label are set to release a series of uniquely artworked limited edition 12"s. Each vinyl will feature 2 exclusive new tracks by artists affiliated with the label in 2013. At the end of the year fans will be able to purchase a box set designed to house all of the 2013 series releases. The first of these will be the debut release from Lost Scripts (John Talabot & Pional) split with a brand new track from Koreless who will be releasing his debut EP for Young Turks in the spring. Young Turks was established in London in 2007 and has released records by SBTRKT, Chairlift, Holy Fuck, The xx and many more

Gone Too Long' from rising duo Him_Self_Her is a bonafide bomb - house with feeling and a massive bassline and killer vocal from Kieran Fowkes. Reinvigorated by Crosstown Rebels for a re-release after it came out on Mexican label Cream Couture last year, this time the infectious original comes backed with remixes from Belgian hero Compuphonic, who injects more bounce, bleeps and emotive melody and the mighty Yousef who's darker 'Circus Rework' is a deep affair of rolling drums and dubby textures.

Dynamic duo Him_Self_Her is the astute combination of Claire and Leon who came together after honing individual skills for many years on their local scene in Leicester. All that it took was one studio session to realise the potency of their union and their genre blending productions are showing no bounds - ranging from deep grooves to disco infused techno. 'Gone Too Long' was originally released in 2012 and championed by Pete Tong (Essential New Tune) and supported by the likes of Jamie Jones. Damian Lazarus has now signed the duo and along with this re-release there is more to come on the label and the duo also have their debut album in the works.

One of the youngest DJs on the Belgian DJ circuit, Maxime Firket aka Compuphonic broke onto the international scene with a release on Tiga's Turbo Recordings. Further releases have dropped on highly acclaimed labels including Modular, Darkroom Dubs, Systematic Recordings, 2020 Vision and Parquet Recordings.

Yousef is a mainstay of UK house music. With a career spanning over ten years, the heavyweight DJ / Producer and Promoter founded Circus Recordings and events and has appeared on some of the most revered and respected labels in the business - Carl Cox's Intec, Nick Curly's Cecille, Saved and of course Sven Vath's Cocoon Recordings - which released 'Come Home', Yousef's stunning Piece de Resistance.

After Morgan Geist and Damon C. Scott's triumphant second single as Storm Queen - "It Goes On" - it's time to revisit their 2010 smash hit single, "Look Right Through". By way of 6 new remixes from 5 of the hottest producers currently on the scene we are pleased to present these two super hot releases.

Part 1 features 2 of the 6 mixes and we begin with RA's DJ of the year 2011, Jamie Jones. Characteristic bass and rhythm lay the foundtion for the track that's already being championed by Pete Tong among many others. while somewhere the remains of last nights party beats are hovering in the air, the wind carries broken
scraps of a singer/ songwriter piece through the haunting haze your way.The night made way for a
new day. A day, when everything will be different.
Change, transformation, developement- these have always been the motor behind Berlins electronica
duo Dapayk& Padberg. On their 4th longplayer they might now have made the most uncompromising
step during their 10 year carreer in wich they have become one of europes most fascinating Clubacts.
Their magic formula Looking for alternatives. With their longplayer - Smoke' they bid a temporary
farewell to the dancefloor. They are taking new paths, searching, trying new, never before seen
patterns. These paths led the duo from the golden hills of the Provence to the dark autumnal
lowlands at the border between scotland and england. The influence of those places is felt throughout
the whole record with its atmospheric hybrid-tracks.
After their last album - Sweet Nothings' with its summery/ funky sound Dapayk& Padberg are now
opening the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. While - Sweet Nothings' was a balancing act between
clubsound and Listening-Electronica the duo is now turning its back on the dancefloor, to take the
listener on an accustic tour through their personal Amber Room. With their Chamber-Electro mix,
containing characteristics of dubstep, catchy pop-elements, classical string arrangements and and a
singer/songwriter-like intimacy, they achieve to create new sound-rooms.
- The time we spent in scotland was the most creative and productive time we ever had,' explaines Eva
Padberg. - It was a wonderful experience to get up in the morning, have breakfast and after a long walk
in the drizzling rain have nothing else to do then to sit in front of the log fire with a glass of whiskey in
our hands and work on new tracks...'Dapayk& Padberg's albums have always been snapshots of
their current inspirational and emotional world- with - Smoke' they have now created their most
consistent and self contained collection of songs to date. Against all expectations, sometimes even
against their own nature as artists, letting go of all too familiar and comfortable structures. - Smoke' is
all about overcoming those lines between different genres, letting go, opening their mind to the new,

- without worrying about fitting into a certain niche or having to compromise', Eva adds. - When we had
the structure for about two thirds of the album set up, we realized that we're heading into some dark
waters. I think with this album we found ourselves more than ever and maybe even grew up a bit..'
Growing up in fast times, in wich Niklas Worgt produces numerous club projects for the insatiable
nightlife and Eva Padberg counts as one fashions most sought after faces. - Smoke' is their escape
with which Dapayk& Padberg transport an atmosphere that possibly noone would have expected in its
intensity. - For us it's always been about finding the cracks and about contrast', Niklas adds. - It's about
challenging the listener. For me there is nothing more boring than over-produced, clean
computermusic.'
Almost no track ends as it begins. - Silent Fireworks' with its song like structure brings to mind the
hymns of Lamb, Jamie Woon or James Blake. Evas voice delivers a broken intimacy which is carried
by Niklas' adventurous- sophisticated sound structures. The hypnotic - No Words' starts out with Evas
ethereal-fragile vocals spun around a dry, blurred electronica track to then explode into a huge,
unknown universe of sounds. Dark energy in its purest form, as is the morbid - Headless Queen' which
was inspired by the imprisonement and execution of Mary Queen of Scots in 1587.
- In Scotland there are reminders of drama and tragedy on every corner', says Eva about her
influences. - Everywhere there are stories about clan fights and plaques have been put up to keep the
memory of people who have lost their lives during those darker times alive. Those sometimes cruel
and bizarre stories, paired with the breathtaking views we enjoyed during our time there, have
definitely left their mark on the album.'
The inspiration for the album title came not only from those cold days spent in scotland but also has its
historic routes in Niklas' family tree.'my grandmother is a true well of inspiration. She told me that she
was faintly related with the austrian painter Oskar Kokoschka - so I decided to name one of my
projects Kokoschka. But also, that there was a blood relative on her side of the family who came from
England by the name Smoke. The name has been spooking around in my head for years and I always
wanted to name an EP or track after it. We thought that it was an excellent title for the album.'
- Also, the track `Smoke´captures the atmosphere of the album perfectly', Eva agrees. - I learned a lot
about myself and the both of us while making this album. Sometimes I was quite surprised about the
dark thoughts going through my head, since I am generally not a sad person. I think those songs were
a good an healthy way to face that side of myself. In my profession it is expected of me to always
represent the perfect side of life, after a while it gets boring to always be glamourous and radiant.
Flawlessness bores me, this record is my antidote. But at the same time it has something sane and
concilitory: on the opener `Drowning inside you´ you drown in the other person and on the last track
`Dance in your flame´ your dancing together in the fire..'

Colors Of Hope' and particularly its first single, 'Letters From Damascus' respectively are for instance on heavy rotation on the best radio station in the word, KCRW from Santa Monica.Now FETSUM goes even one better. The second off-shot single, 'Waitin' For You', arrives in a masterfully wrapped up triple pack. In collaboration with FETSUM Sonar Kollektiv proves again that it has a knack for choosing the right remixers for a specific track. Three adaptions that couldn't be more diverse - but impressively illustrate how genre-crossing the possibilities of interpretation of 'Waitin' For You' are.Over the last few years Till Von Sein and Tigerskin have gathered an enormous output of own productions (f.e. on labels like Morris / Audio, Dirt Crew, Get Physical and Dessous) or remixes (f.e. for Soul Clap, Heiko Laux or Kasper Bjorke) - together or separately. This is cumulative club experience and the will to do things differently from time to time. This way the two Berlin based producers turn
'Waitin' For You' into a downright funky dance floor burner with
contagiousness.

Little is known about mysterious producer Tommy Rawson.

Our first acquaintance was the aptly named 'Shy Track' on Red Rack'em's Smugglers Inn 001 release. We tried to find out more but the trail got cold pretty quick. It was not until hearing Gilles Peterson playing a version of Hugh Masekela's 'Don't Go Lose It baby' on his show that word got around, Tommy Rawson was back.

This particular anthemic track found it's way to Mats who then started playing it out and every time, in every club no matter where in the world the reaction was same, people completely lost it on the dance floor!
We had but no choice to release the track and luckily enought Tommy must have a sixth sense because at the same time Mats blasted the track at the Local Talk office to convince Tooli shouting 'this is the next big release for Local Talk, I'm telling you!!' another track made it into his mailbox, the soulful house jam Brenda Done Died With No Name. Both tracks ended up on this 12' of course.

Mr Rawson has delivered the goods here, warm, sunsplashed music all the way. A name to watch for this year and probably not mysterious for long.

The title track builds its strength around a catchy and heartfelt vocal phrase that resonates from deep within...An acid bassline works its way around a delicate and intricate groove, bouncing off trancey stabs.The result is an intimate and warm track that also works very well in the big rooms out there.

Polish native SLG turns 'Hold On' into a full body workout. Old school cowbell melodies sit aside equally retro rave stabs, melding the track into an altogether different type of monster. Showing off his production skills, SLG warps the melodies back and forth, cutting and skewing the vocal line to great effect.

Luca Lozano steps up and provides a bumpy and hypnotic version of the title track, using skippy hats and robust bass notes Lozano creates a steady groove that evolves around the filtered vocal line. A stateless trio (Japan, UK, Sweden), Tristesse Contemporaine chose Paris as their battle field. The sound of their first album, produced by Pilooski in 2011, was immediately praised among the music scene and critics - raw and minimal, catchy yet mesmerizing, both poppy and spleen-heavy. Equally inspired by the ghosts of shoegaze, krautrock and Madchester, they aimed to write the soundtrack of an era that got lost into the night. The Woodwork E.P. is the second episode of the Tristesse Contemporaine story. They have a new label, Record Makers, which is co-releasing it alongside their mother-house Dirty. This is a definition of their DNA in four new tracks:

Waiting : obsessive, haunted, elegiac - the art of making dead people dance.

Vampires : in the shadow of new wave giants, a minimal prayer to make ghosts go away.

Woodwork : sun-drenched and languid, this is Tristesse Contemporaine very own version of a praise for patience.

Low Tide : back on the dance floor for perverted, drug-induced nursery rhyme. Higher than the sun.

Placed at the very entrance of the club, Tristesse Contemporaine now waits for us. A new album is to be released in September. No one will survive.

A pulsating solo effort from electronic pop crooning man-child and Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning is the shiniest, newest addition to the Cutters stable of artists.

Prior to starting on Cut Copy's most recent album Zonoscope, Ben Browning dug into his trusty mind-hole and began penning tracks for a solo release, culminating in the new 12-inch EP which is to be released by Cutters Records. I Can't Stay is the lead single, taken from Browning's forthcoming EP on Cutters records.

For the uninitiated, Odyssey are a band who thrived in the 1970s disco boom thanks to an insouciant blend of live funk, soul and Afro Caribbean rhythms. Recently Yam Who's ISM imprint embarked on the Legacy project, which will see the band get back together in the studio to record a new album that includes updated versions of past hits alongside new material. In addition to this, ISM have commissioned a number of remixes, with expertly selected knob twiddlers turning reimagining Odyssey material for contemporary dancefloors. On the first edition, "Native New Yorker" - the first true Odyssey smash hit - is given a thorough disco treatment from Ashley Beedle with his "Big Apple Uptown Story" rife with piano keys, funky guitars and soaring string sections. On the flip, two upbeat and feel good remixes of "Inside Out" from DJ Friction and PBR are both pure disco euphoria. Bells chime, vocals bounce and the irresistibly groovy bass keeps them well and truly alive.

After his excellent Lullabies To Paralyze on Visionquest at the beginning of the year, Hot Creations release the monumental Highbeams single featuring the vocal talents of Benjamin Franklin.. with a remix 12' to follow...
The A Side features the stunning 'Highbeams' which opens with shifting highs and rims and elongated bass notes creating a real sense of drama in the mix. The exceptional vocal talents of Benjamin Franklin then enter the foray taking the track to euphoric heights as Franklin showcases the full range of his vocal capabilities.
On the flip and Butch delivers the darker 'Faith' which gets moving with some intricate percussive work which gives it an incredibly organic swing. Ethereal vocal and more dramatic bass paves the way for yet another vocal bomb with Franklin's vocals again taking centre stage.

Hot on the heels of the first part of this single, part 2 of Amirali's 'Just An Illusion' features a classic remix by house hero MK and Bristol's very own Appleblim.
Taken from his highly acclaimed, recently released debut album on Crosstown, 'In Time', 'Just An Illusion' is one of the more infectious tracks off the album with its dance-worthy melodic drive and Amirali's texturally deep and emotive undertones. This 12 features two great interpretations of the original.
Marc Kinchen aka MK offers up a slice of moody sexy house, at first illuminating Amirali's melancholic vocal and then dropping a dubby bassline and 90s snare kick hat groove. A classic MK remix that sounds truly awesome on the floor, expect to hear this everywhere this summer. On the flip and Appleblim gives 'Just An Illusion' an experimental edge with an ice cool cosmic bleeps and futuristic stripped back feel, steeped in murky atmosphere. A couple of great remixes of Amirali's sublime original.
