Highlights, the band's first collection of new material since their critically-lauded debut, Mixed Emotions, in 2012, began in a basement in Pittsburgh and ended in a church in Brooklyn. It trades world music sounds for a more alive, realized approach, the result of Emm and Cohen knowing they wanted to break from their 'two guys, one screen' writing style.

A staple of the club scene for over two decades, Carl Cox provides a mix combining some of the hottest names in the underground scene with the very best of his Intec label artists.

Kevin Saunderson needs no introduction. Along with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, he can rightfully claim to be the originator of the Techno sound. Hailing from Detroit, Kevin is the man behind the classic Inner City tracks 'Big Fun' and 'Good Life'. Besides, he runs the successful KMS label. His mix features classic tunes by artists of the likes of X-Press 2 and Paperclip People - as well as unreleased gems from the KMS family.



As head of Cr2 Records, MYNC has been responsible for discovering some of the biggest names in Dance music. Eric Prydz, Fedde Le Grand and Chuckie are some of the artists that have had Cr2 as their home over the last decade. A respected producer and remixer, MYNC has remixed the work of artists such as Azari & III, Nervo and Nile Rodgers. A versatile DJ, MYNC has given us a mix of cutting-edge sounds that are currently being heard all over Ibiza with a few trademark curveballs thrown in.

By the end of this year the time has finally come! The most anticipated newcomealbum of the year (at least for Sonar Kollektiv and entourage) is seeing the light day: 'The Great Escape', the debut by the man who calls himself ComixXx.

On "Work That Shit Party," a Fingers Inc. style rhythm buttresses a two-note riff, a crackling male voice filtering in from the ether.
A pinging keyboard zips around before that two-note flicker expands and contracts, warps and wheedles.
But around halfway in, a female vocal refrain of "Gonna work it out" breaks fat lacerations into pinholes, blaring keyboards seeping in through the gaps and crevices.
Then, as with "D117," it's the congealing of all these disparate elements: A "work it out" from Fischerspooner's Lizzy Yoder sashaying with the two-note riff, the keyboards bouncing off the ceiling, and flaring hi-hats fraying the surface played by Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem). Each portion is given its due, only to make the ensuing combination that much more enthralling.

Apart from the obvious love for his musical talents, both as a producer and as a DJ, one of the reasons why we love Theo Parrish so damn much is his repressing policy. Unlike some of his peers, the man has no problem in repressing in-demand Sound Signatures from the past, and this time it's number 32 that receives a much-welcomed resurrection. The EP features singer Dummine Depores, first on the utterly hummable and soulful "Chemistry" track, and then on "Untitled One", a classically off-kilter Parrish number filled to the brim with sampling goodness and even a distant set of guitar riffs! Killers.

After the sneak release of his incredible slow pop gem "58 bpm" (no promo, no marketing, vinyl only, sold out within days) which came out on his brand-new label True Romance Records, Tensnake proudly presents the next tracks in a series of great tunes to come: True Romance 002 - Larse featuring Charlie Sputnik "The Sun EP", which will be put out later this summer. Larse from Dortmund is well known for his very own approach to slamming deep house anthems. Several tunes out of his hands entered the national charts in Germany, Belgium and South Africa. His Vocal Mix for Candi Staton's "Hallelujah Anyway" reached Number 1 on the Beatport Deep House Charts and gold status in Belgium. Larse's collaborator on The Sun EP is Charlie Sputnik who shows an outstanding performance as a singer. Charlie is from L.A. and has recorded with house music producers Art Bleek, Manuel Tur, Trevor Loveys, Affie Yusuf, Round Table Knights, Hervé and Jesse Rose, to name a few. Together with Larse he shows one of his best performances so far. A fascinating blend of Prince, Wham, a very modern version of Kool & the Gang and classic Vocal House. Period.

A lush and beautiful re-edit of Raw Silk's classic record, "Do It To The Music" has been reborn by unidentified label, Nazo. Warm keys and stabs make the song leads you to the heaven. Limited pressing, gotta get this now.

Hot off the back of the success of the recent Dennis Ferrer remix of 'Underground' Nick Curly picks two further 'Between the Lines' album tracks for remix treatment. This time calling upon Osunlade and Larry Heard to give each track their own unique twist. Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers and Osunlade both deliver deep heads down versions perfectly complimenting the originals.

The new album will feature guest vocals from Nao, Lion Babe, Kwabs and jazz veteran Gregory Porter, the latter of whom appears on Holding On.' Last month, Disclosure premiered the dance floor jam Bang That.'

The duo, comprised of Guy and Howard Lawrence, teased the LP in the below trailer, which features moody images of a caracal, the titular wild cat.

The group explained the meaning of their new title in a statement. A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year. I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity,' said member Howard Lawrence. It felt like a perfect fit for our WILD LIFE brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.'

Disclosure have also announced two headlining U.S. shows for this fall: Los Angeles' Memorial Sports Arena on September 29th and New York City's Madison Square Garden on October 24th. General ticket on-sales begin Saturday, June 13th at 10 a.m. local time, American Express Card members can purchase advance tickets from Tuesday, June 9th at 10 a.m. through Friday, June 12th at 10 p.m.

PMR Beat Club's first release is with 21 year old Polish wonder-kid Klaves, who has quickly become one of music's most exciting new talents.

With a background in classical music and a love of house, Klaves has had a rapid rise in the past 12 months, picking up huge support both online and in the club for his early productions. One pivotal moment came earlier in 2014 when he was asked to support the illustrious Nicolas Jaar on a string of huge dates around his homeland.

A year after the heartbreaking loss of "brother" Scott Hardkiss, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss will release a new album: Hardkiss - 1991.


Back in 90's San Francisco; Scott, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss helped pioneer the American EDM/Rave scene with their club nights, warehouse parties and groundbreaking record label. They forged a new direction for dance music with a string of vinyl releases culminating in the seminal compilation, "Delusions of Grandeur". It made the Billboard Dance charts, went to #1 on the Rolling Stone Alternative Album chart and launched the international DJ/production careers of the Hardkiss brothers.


Reunited in the Bay Area three years ago, Gavin and Robbie have produced a new album that stands tall in the often repetitive world of electronic dance music. Named for the year the Hardkiss collective was formed, 1991 references the sounds and sentiments of their early rave days while exploring new musical directions. Recorded in San Rafael, California, the album took shape in two home studios that are separated by a hillside hike. Most of the songs feature Robbie Hardkiss on vocals with additional vocals by Austin's Tameca Jones and New York rapper turned singer, Scavonne.


The focus was to create timeless beat/bass grooves within compelling contemporary songs that work for DJs as well as for a good listen. There's strong emphasis on sound design, intricate synth work and vocal editing and processing. With the help of mix engineer Luke Argilla of Bachelors of Science, the album took a full year to mix after the recording was complete. Wishing to remain connected to their vinyl roots, Hardkiss has also partnered with UnCut Records to manufacture limited edition double vinyl records of the album 1991.

On the A side the Lovebirds remix of their new single Hold Back Love. Lovebirds has been one of the mainstays of the deep house scene with his killer single Want You In My Soul in many best of 2011 charts.

HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: "Always Like This" is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success. Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts - and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago. HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date. HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26 - and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. "Always Like This" is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now. Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent, one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
