Low Jack's Editions Gravats present Black Zone Myth Chant (a.k.a. High Wolf) at his most 'floor-friendly with five tracks of mutant, refractive rhythms and cosmic melody cut-out and expanded for DJ purpose from last year's 40-minute judgement mixtape.
The collaged, psychedelic fabric of his mix is teased into new, minimalist rhythmelodies and chaotic harmonics, flipping its fragmentary ideas into colourfully-plumed,
outer-limits dance trax that sound quite unlike anyone beyond the obvious aesthetic touchstones like Hieroglyphic Being, Sun Ra or DJ Screw.
Reload Pain starts up like some Far Eastern synth phantasia replayed by khat-high Ethio-jazzers, whilst Pitchblack stirs a viscous brew of screwed vox and cranky discord lightened up with glittering celestial arpeggios, and Jail Love opens a 3 minute window of beat-less kosmiche synth contours. Night Chicks float us back to the dance on choral pads and trickling tribal drum patter, before closing with the hyper alien set-dance of Zero To One.

Macro has been the home for the albums of some of electronic music's most exciting live acts. So when you are a live band and you enter this context, you'd better enter with a bang. KUF do just this with their debut EP for the label. The three-piece outfit with keys, bass and drums cook up a sound that's as warm, cozy and exciting as it is utterly alien, all at the very same time. The rhythm section hints at the great history of dirty funk and r'n'b, but the grooves are firmly of today: dance-centered and broken up at the best possible joints. The bewildering thing about KUF is that it is a vocal-led group that has no singer on stage at all. All vocal elements are based on self-recorded samples which keyboard whizz kid Tom Schneider melds and bends and squeezes in real time. As if it was a regular thing to do. With no artificial synchronization in place, Valentin Link on bass and Hendrik Havekost on drums push the disembodied, highly abstract voices into an arena of hyperintegrated realtime magic. Odyssee' and Wildlife' are full-on introductions to the world of KUF, with Staring At The Sky' being a jam-type addition which the band is killing with in their live sets. Away From Everything We Know, is the perfect balance struck between a meditative state and playful electronic experimentation, for all its subtlety it's an incredibly detailed piece of work that deals in myriad layers of tone and pulse. Legendary French producer Mr. Oizo aka Quentin Dupieux returns with Hand in the Fire' - a four-track EP featuring brash, heavy-hitting productions and a Charli XCX guest appearance - out today via Ed Banger / Because Music / Big Beat Records. The new EP largely follows in the steps of Mr. Oizo's acclaimed 2014 LP The Church.' The title track shows off Mr. Oizo's pop production chops, mixing a compelling vocal performance from British pop-smash songwriter Charli XCX, complete with an incredibly catchy hook, with a punk-inspired composition that transitions more towards trap by the end of the song. On Being Flat,' Mr. Oizo pares back the melody to only an ethereal bridge, otherwise pushing forward the fast-beating pulse and glitched-out pace that continues throughout. A Rekurd' puts a tongue-in-cheek vocal sample over sirens, saw-like bass, and an eclectic drum kit, repeating the title over as tracks underneath tremor and quake. Mr. Oizo rounds out the EP with an instrumental mix of Hand in the Fire.

Philadelphia's Fox brings an eclectic array of sounds and artists together for his first vinyl release on Jersey City based label Green Village. Their third vinyl release showcases tracks with slanted percussion and multiple flavors of techno and breaks. The accompanying remixes from Fabricator and Undrig bring you a taste of 2step as well as a classic big room Dubstep sounds.

* Kapsize lower their drawbridge for the 1st time in 2016 to unleash 'Knights of Ren', the EP from Bristolian duo Asa & Sorrow.

* 'Island Wave' opens the release and uses a sonic palette reminiscent of vintage era Joker production. Simultaneously tough and breezy, the riddim undulates as the titles suggests and displays the duo's ability to evoke emotions, of childlike hope and wonder as they explore a genre dominated by a macho aesthetic.

* The following cuts are crafted more pointedly to serve as dance floor weapons. With 'Barbaric' serving as a screw face engager and the title track 'Knights of Ren' coming straight out of Plasticman set before Richie Hawtin had him change his name to Plastician. Lemz and Hi5 Ghost jump on the remix to anchor the release pulling the riddim into a proud grime banger.

* This is the second Kapsize release from Asa & Sorrow who were last seen flying the flag with the 'Legendary EP'. The duo continue to make waves in the grime community and beyond, fast building a rep as ones to watch from the new generation of grime producers. Their hit rate earned Asa a recent guest mix on Logan Sama's BBC 1xtra show.

Phon.o, the boy with the dot in his name and the dubby background, started to play records with his buddy Apparat in the
early 90s far in the darkest reaches of the ruff'n'tuff Harz mountains, in former East Germany.

* Label-owner and crew-founder, DJ Clent, aka the Low End Legend, has been beating it since the '90s, when he dropped 100% Ghetto - We 2 Ghetto 4 Ya! On Dance Mania, and Hail Mary on DJ Slugo's Subterranean Playhouse imprint. He followed with EPs for Juke Trax, Halsted Street Entertainment, and Blank Mind, before going global with tracks on Planet Mu's influential Bangs and Works compilation, a followup EP called Hyper Feet, and his first full-length, Last Bus To Lake Park on Duck N' Cover.

* DJ Roc aka The Crack Capone was also born and raised in the South Side of Chicago neighbourhood known as the "low end". He started producing in 2001 and DJing in 2005, dropping a series of 'Juke City' CDs via his friend DJ Slugo, then breaking out with his Crack Capone album for Planet Mu, and the follow-up, Practice What U Preach for Duck N' Cover.

* DJ T-Rell is a relative newcomer to the international scene, but brings a strong persona beginning with his movie debut at the age of 1 on ''Ferris Bueller's Day Off'' (during the downtown Chicago parade scene), and DJing since the age of 14. He's had two digital EPs and is featured on the digital-only Beatdown House Compilation Vol 1, via Beatdown House.

Animal Hands is the collaborative venture of two close friends, Will Samson & Heimer. Since the duo had worked closely together as mutual producers on Samson's solo releases, Balance (2012) & Light Shadows (2014), it was natural that a joint musical project would eventually materialise. However, in comparison with these two preceding records, this new body of truly collaborative work takes a different direction into more electronic inspired sounds

Rabit's Halycon Veil label swerves left with a freakish 2nd release coming from the Korean-born, Danish-raised Why Be - a member of DJ Hvad's Syg Nok squad, Janus regular and contributor of Total Freedom's 'Blasting Voices' compilation.Equal measures grime, bumpy techno and internet-world electronics tot up to a frictional but fluid batch tripping across imagined 'floor-spaces and the stranger black holes between their cracks.'Heroin Hat' crosses wires between ersatz Afro melodies and sublow techno with the playful dexterity of Physical Therapy whereas the massive blackened mass of 'Whalin (Kyselina OST)' proves an impressive aptitude for beat-less, abstract sound design on a majestic, show-stopping scale. Back to the 'floor on the B-side, he glances askew at ballroom house from the midst of a gif-like loop vortex with 'Deeq' and its b*tch-slapping, c*nty counterpart 'Late (Laser Ha)' throwing down limb-synched edits for the voguers.Very safe to say: if you're into Physical Therapy, Total Freedom or Rabit - this 12" is a strong look.

RED003: With the success of Pushing Red's first two releases, we decided we would step things up with remixes from the scenes top producers in their respected genres. Both F & Headhunter need no introductions fusing unique ideas & production values when it comes to dubstep & techno. These two remixes showcase both style and class in a way that only F & Headhunter can pull off and we are truly honored to have them involved.

A. Azure ( F Remix )
Kicking things off is F with a outstanding recreation of Jus Wan's already classic 'Azure'. A sneaking intro builds on the original pads before dropping into a steady snare. Growling bass slowly sneaks into the picture and drops into and perfect blend of rough & smooth. F has taken an already great tune and kept the integrity of the original, while giving it his own signature flavor. Classic remix!

AA. Avoid The Noid ( Headhunter Remix )
Another man who needs no introduction has graced us with a superb remix of DJG's 'Avoid The Noid'. Headhunter takes things very deep with a thumping 4/4, deep house kind of affair. A deep kick keeps the pace with deep low end that will work out any sound system. The original pads have been drawn out and sprinkled with the original key work. Fans of deep dubstep and house will love this tune and we hope as much as we do!

RED005: Long time producer and innovator ASC steps to Pushing Red with two fantastic pieces of Detroit-tinged techno. He's well known in many circles for his wonderful drum & bass releases which more recently have brought him success on such labels Exit, Nonplus & his own Auxilary. His is also known for other tempos and this release is pure evidence that he is just as deadly in this realm as his drum & bass!

A. ADVENT
A punishing 4/4 kicks things off before distorted, crushing bass and effects propel this monster into Detroit territory! While this tune is a monster, everything is perfectly layered and everything within the tune makes sense. Reverbed keys and delayed effects pull everything together! Definitely one for the fans who like their beats with a little teeth!

AA. THE GLOW
The Glow harks back to the glory days of Warp Records and mid 90's techno & electronic. A subtle 4/4 keeps the momentum going while the bassline could workout any soundsystem. Lush keys and pads sit perfectly on top creating that wonderful melodic and nostalgia feel! Definitely one for fans of deeper, melodic techno!

RED007: Red007 sees Pushing Red taking a slightly different turn with more of a 'juke' style release. (Greek - known as Dimitri) buckles down with a with what could be called as a fusion of juke, ghetto house & footwork to outstanding results. The sharp 808 kicks and bassline pulsate throughout the tune while a sharp vocal sample cuts through giving the tune that much more punch! Flip over for the wonderful Ikonika remix. Ikonika has really taken this tune and given it her own feel and appeal. Turning the stormer into more of a halftime/ house feel, it's hard to put to words the outcome. It's ferocious & melodic and all wrapped up with that signature Ikonika feel! One you just have to hear!

UK producer Fono who is currently smashing in clubs with his track Real Joy on Relentless, has ripped apart 'Lean On' the global hit, chopping up the vocals and adding some pulse to the rhythm. A relentless piece of electronic propulsion which has the clubs going insane.

3024 is reissuing Martyn's 2009 collaboration with Hyperdub poet The Spaceape, who passed away last October. 'Is This Insanity' comes from Martyn's debut album Great Lengths and was his first collaboration with The Spaceape. The vinyl also features the previously unreleased track 'Camberwell Green' and the highly sought after remix of 'Is This Insanity' by Germany's techno don Ben Klock!

Frenetic, intense and fully Livity Sound in style, these definition defying tracks are the results of several jamming sessions between label mainstay Peverelist and rising star Hodge, their first collaborative release since the 'Bells' 12' on Punch Drunk records in 2013.
* This 12" marks the second release of 2015 for the label which continues to define the cutting edge of UK dance music.

ITALIAN MAINSTAY ALLI BOREM RETURNS TO DESOLAT ON THE DESTINATIONS EP Alli Borem has been bubbling under the surface for a few years now, stringing together a couple of fine releases on a diverse range of labels including Suara, Rawthentic, Dirtybird and his own Root50 label. First appearing on Desolat in 2011 and again on 2012, this time the Italian producer makes his third outing with the Destinations EP, which once again showcases his versatility as a producer across these five adventurous and very different tracks. 'Destinations' and 'Direzione Rebibbia' are both warm set builders, with 'Destinations' featuring slowly building piano chords which dominate until a distinctive vocal takes centre stage. 'Direzione Rebibbia' is another rich track, which again simmers away but this time with a glorious meandering Acid bass line and chord stabs. 'Maximum Description' marks a change in direction with mechanical and robotic sounds captivating the listener and transporting them to far away out of space surroundings. Similarly impressive is 'Quorum' with its twisted house aesthetic. Here an off-kilter groove, incessant drum claps, robotic bleeps, and reverberating bass all combine with fantastic results. 'Trip Out' again switches the focus and proceeds at a slower BPM but features shuddering bass, and a repetitive vocal; as the track steams ahead down a Hip-Hop trajectory. It's clear to see that on the Destinations EP Alli Borem delivers a kaleidoscopic snapshot into where he's at, which turns out to be an extremely exciting place. All five tracks on offer show a different side to his production prowess and are evidence of a producer who is not just enjoying himself but at the top of his game.

* 'Better Strangers' is the debut album by Manchester based producer Acre, set for release by Tectonic Recordings on 6th November 2015. The album follows EPs on both Tectonic and sister label Cold Recordings and Visionist's PAN collaboration label Codes.

* As influenced by rave & jungle, grime and techno as electronica, ambient and drone; his EP releases have been rhythm driven snapshots of other-worldliness spliced with dancefloor sensibilities. Acre has sought to explore a wider variety of textures on 'Better Strangers'; to re-contextualise elements from UK bass music, bring them away from the dancefloor and open up new possibilities.

* 'I tried to include more emotion in this album than my previous releases and wanted to represent a broader side of my productions. The title 'Better Strangers' comes from the feeling that some people make better strangers than friends (or better off being strangers) in your life, and the album is about recognising that."

The crisp sound of golden age hip-hop is enjoying something of a renaissance. Grand Central producer AIM has always held true to classic underground hip-hop and a new project finds the beat-maker working alongside like minds.

Long Island's dynamic duo Q Ball & Curt Cazal (QNC) work the rhymes on upcoming album 'The Habit of a Lifetime', a project that owes its roots to 'The Force' which featured on Aim's 1999 landmark Cold Water Music LP.

Four years in the making the album features eleven Aim produced future classics.

Greco-Romance. It's often been said that the early underground parties thrown by the Greco-Roman artist collective, party and record label were romantic affairs. Maybe it was the punch, maybe it was the music, but love was certainly in the air. And so the third solo EP from Hot Chip's Joe Goddard picks up where last summer's EP 'Taking Over's love affair with club basements left off.
This EP spans five dance floor inspired tracks of epic proportions, none more so than the 15 minute version of EP closer 'Carried Away'. 'Endless Love' follows his tradition of collaborating with other musicians such as newcomer Valentina for 2011's anthem 'Gabriel' or German house legend Boris Dlugosch for 'Step Together' by asking Betsy to provide the vocals for the title track and its sister 'Make It Right', the pair of songs lyrically entwined in a strange love ritual.
As Joe himself whimsically says: "'This is another bunch of songs I have been making recently, surprisingly it consists mostly of House music! And a couple of other ones that aren't House - you can skip those"
However, maybe don't do as the main man says. For once we give you permission to completely ignore Joe Goddard and do as you please: get loved up with 'Endless Love'.

Rye Rye - real name Ryeisha Berrain - began performing at the age of 16, and a chance meeting with Blaqstarr resulted in their 2006 club hit 'Shake It To The Ground', heralding an impressive list of collaborations including Diplo, Robyn, Toddla T, M.I.A. and more, with Rye Rye touring with the latter throughout 2007 and 2008 and appearing in the video for her global smash 'Paper Planes'. This time she's jumping on a spidery beat from mercurial West London producer and DEEK label boss Bullion aka Nathan Jenkins... 'I found an old MP3 player when I was back at my folks' house, in with a load of my old stuff, and it had this weird track on it... a dancehall rhythm made with a didgeridoo sample. It was labeled 'Bum Spider' and I tried for ages to google it and couldn't find anything (googling 'bum spider' brought some strange results) so I put a tweet out describing it but... nothing. Then my manager, who knows the producer Bullion, told me it was by him and that he must have sent it to me ages ago! Anyway, I called Bullion up and said I had to release this track because I'd become obsessed with it.
