Sigha - Abstractions I-iv

Hotflush presents the return of Sigha with a new EP entitled 'Abstractions I-IV', his sixth on the label. On this release he reaches into darker territory, beginning with a beatless, ambient suspension, drawing the listener in his submerged sonic sphere before dropping into a series of chilling compositions that seem to seethe and smolder at sub-zero temperatures, adorned with haunting electronic blips and synthetic machinations throughout. Having already gathered support from many figures in the electronic world over the last year including Marcel Dettmann, Brendon Moeller and Francois K, as well as making appearances on Scuba's recent DJ-KICKS mix compilation with 'Where I Come To Forget' amongst others, James Shaw continues to make his mark with 'Abstractions'.

PARADISE LOST
11.12.2013

Limited Purple Vinyl Pressing!
By popular demand, Estonian prodigy Bisweed returns to Paradise Lost to blow things up proper with his sophomore artist release, the Tsar Bomba EP.
The title track 'Tsar Bomba' has a lot to live up to, seeing that the Soviet Tsar Bomba was the
largest ballistic missile ever constructed. No disappointment to be found here, however. The track starts out with a cinematic Soviet-style horn intro before blowing up with one of the heaviest drops this year in Deep Dubstep. This is a quintessential track for the apex of the party. 'Ghosts VIP' takes the infamous original track from Bisweed's first Paradise Lost release to another level of clarity.
This is truly the epitome of Dungeon style, and vinyl fans who enjoyed the original tune will be happy to see this finally hit wax. 'Catacombs' keeps up the dark and murky subbass pressure while 'Question', a collaboration with Ax Farel, is a great wall of detailed soundscapes and percussive intricacies.
The digital release of this EP will also include three additional digi-only tracks:
'Solar System' featuring its long-wound intro and stomping industrial drums, 'Magnetic Field' which is sounding like 'Tsar Bomba's' long-lost cousin, and the jukey, 909-laden Ax Farel Remix of the Bisweed standard 'Ghosts'. Vinyl purchasers will be rewarded doubly - not only with spectacular clear-blue vinyl in a
clear plastic sleeve, but also with download codes for all digi tracks including the three digi-only bonus tracks! This record will look fantastic but will also represent a great historic value: since Bisweed already produces at a level with the genre's best, and we're confident when we say that he's a superstar in the making.

Focus 10 Ep

09.12.2013

There don't seem to be many places across the musical landscape that Coleco hasn't drawn from at some point. Instruments from
around the world, ghostly remnants of 8-bit video game soundtracks, and breaky drums from 60s-70s funk are just some of the
things that can often meet with rhythms inspired by drum n bass, footwork, dubstep, and 'trap'.
In the early days of dubstep, Coleco made waves in the scene with his 12" releases on Soul Motive, 'Campfire Funk', and
'Hypnagogia'. Bringing together dubstep, world music, and his signature style in the engineering of funky breaks, he saw support
from scene leaders such as Skream, and Nihal (BBC R1). Other releases at around 140bpm include featuring as the first release on
Thelem's 'Orientis Records' label.
Always staying one step ahead, as music has morphed, so has Coleco's productions. The new rise of uptempo 160/170bpm
footwork and 'trap' inspired beats has seen Coleco bringing a distinctly UK edge to these fresh rhythms, with tunes like Spatial and
Focus 10 reminiscent of the dark basslines of breakstep, with more speed and swagger. He's also been pushing these new styles of
music to a receptive crowd with the Inflect brand, which he co-runs with his partner. Consisting of a blog and series of nights in
Bristol with a heavy emphasis on future facing uptempo 160/170bpm styles, they've hosted the likes of Alix Perez, Phaeleh,
Boxcutter, Fracture, Ital Tek, Lung, EAN, Adam Elemental and lots more.
Coleco's fresh blend of styles has recently drawn support from pioneering names such as dBridge, Rockwell (BBC R1), Xtrah, Kode9,
and Sam Binga. 2013 has also seen a release on Med School's 'New Blood 013' compilation, widely received free tracks on TrapDoor
Records, and mix features for FatKidOnFire and Hedmuk. With unannounced releases in the pipeline and a hand in various projects
aimed at bringing through the freshest music, you'll be sure to hear alot more of Coleco's name in the coming years.

Fresh from his brilliant release on Aus Music 'Walk The Walk', Komon returns to Apple Pips once again to indulge his love of garage & house with a pair of utterly future-minded steppers that meld the funloving qualities of his productions with the most
addictive kind of swing. So Easy' kicks the record off in sassy fashion with a limber turn that matches the crisp 2-step swagger
with slick dashes of melody and vocal sharpened to a fine point to accentuate the groove, like all good garage content should. The bass line meanwhile wobbles in perfect semblance with the beat, hitting every conceivable spot for a straight-up dancefloor
burner. Taking a more measured path into the heart of the
party, 'Cosmic Jon' comes on tender at first as delicate trickles of melody and warm bass interweave around a simple kick, clap and hat pattern. Of course it can't stay too civilised for long,
and sure enough some rude bottom end grind comes bowling in and the beat starts twitching in earnest. It's a set of drums that reside at the housier end of the garage spectrum, but shuffle....

Annie Hall - Andom Paraphilia

Annie Hall's new LP Random Paraphilia on Detund™ explores these experiences through five original tracks with remixes by Richard Devine, Valance Drakes and ERP.

Setting the stage for this intense journey into experimental electronics is Annie Hall's track DSM-5 which when spliced and diced in the remix by rhythmic mutilation master Valance Drakes establishes an ache deep inside mind and body. Together they offer a bold introductory to Random Paraphilia. Annie's collaboration with Shadow Huntaz in Bandit 28930 adds a male vocal and sets the stage for release of the pent-up pressure, through a remix by none other than Richard Devine, who emerges after months incommunicado from his new Atlanta based studio with Bandit 28930 Remix -- a remix for which many around the world have been anxiously awaiting. Prepare yourself for new Richard Devine frequencies creating what we believe to be the most blissfully disturbed / re-aligned symphonic nerve rhythms of aural affect. Annie takes the reigns back pumping a frenetic, raw, experimental sound in Sada Abe. Tables are next given to Convextion aka E.R.P. who captures her snare for a mesmerizing effect in his gorgeous idm electro soul Sada Abe remix. Annie's voice and rhythm machines respond with breakbeat-style in Foihtreiu diversifying the set with what only a graceful feminine touch can produce. Rounding the set out is Symphora featuring new synced visual work by CPU Bryant Place, SF based Obscura digital artist, complementing the mystical journey with a visual experience unlike any other.

Record Sleeve and promo video are by DMAS3 who once again completes the audio-visual package with elegantly futuristic visual art appealing to our desire for journey far and wide. Annie Hall's Random Paraphilia is personal, intimate and political. It is a highly-charged and dynamic 8-track LP beckoning us to explore the world anew.

Love Jones

12inchASP003

09.12.2013

Love Jones is the first single proper from Wayward, a soulful combination of noteworthy Motown vocals and discernible piano melodies that work to an uplifting break and release, with each layer and verse building the infectiousness of the track and working its way under the skin.

As with the single's b-side, understanding the subtleties of what is left out as much of what goes in is something that Wayward have spent time educating themselves in. This juxtaposition of vocal samples layered over more contemporary musical textures is more challenging and as Wayward see it, much more exciting to work with.

Great early support all round......highlights so far include: - NME Buzz Feature - Early radio support from Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1) who gave the track its first radio spin, Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1), Kiss FM, Capital FM, BBC 1Xtra (Mistajam, Twin B etc), Amazing Radio and all the specialists. - Great early club / tastemaker support.(average 8.9/10 ratings) - Full online blog / hype coverage. Over 50 posts already including the likes of Pitchfork, Do Androids Dance, Gotta Dance Dirty. - Beats Per Minute 'On Deck' feature.

J Fogel aka Stray made his first appearance on Exit

'Pushed' which featured on the Mosaic Vol 1 mixed
artists LP and was a great insight into his production
ability and an indication that he was a talent about

The 'Matchsticks' EP is his first full release on Exit

02.12.2013

Nineteen89 have switched things up since their last release from Crypt and provided a murkier vibe that will take you into the autumn months with a chill down your spine, once again proving that they are a record label without boundaries.

Scottish based producer Sebmann delivers two sub-heavy techno influenced records that are guaranteed to vibrate your chestplate. Title track 'Shtun' rolls on a journey into a realm of pure analogue sub pressure, laced with a slight 2-step groove that knocks the track straight into the centre of the dance floor.

On the flip, industrial percussion and a solid kick throughout stipulate the backbone of 'Kase-2', with a bassline reminiscent of early Ed Rush & Optical, complete with the ambience of the ghostly New York subway.

Remixes come from rising new school stars Lleska with his drum heavy version of 'Shtun' and Viers Techno rolling edit of 'Kase-2'.

Demon - Physics Ep

Macabre Unit head honcho and label boss Demon delivers his first solo 12' project in the form of the Physics EP and unsurprisingly
it's a hard-hitting collection of precision engineered dubstep tracks which have already garnered DJ support from Rinse FM's Icicle
and J:Kenzo among others. Quite possibly his most accomplished solo effort and a landmark release for what has steadily become
an essential imprint in the dark 140 bass arena.
Kicking off the EP, title track Physics rolls in on haunting pads giving way to filtered breaks and swaying sub movements,
complimented by a hard-hitting percussive structure and Demon's trademark neck-snap snares. The first outing on the AA side,
Morning Glory seems to begin in a more reserved but nevertheless unnerving mood, unfolding into a crunchy, pulsating roller
underpinned by techy drum work and twisted neuro bass licks. Finally, Molecule rounds out the release with stuttered vocal FX and
off-key edits riding on bladerunner style acid licks and meticulous percussive patterns, a raw and edgy roller!

Homologous

12inchVOIDCOMS001
Void Comms
18.10.2013

Void Coms is a label inspired by the work and theories of Yves Klein. Klein's work revolved around a Zen influenced concept he came
to describe as "le Vide" (the Void). Klein's Void is a nirvana-like state that is void of worldly influences; a neutral zone where one is
inspired to pay attention to ones own sensibilities, and to "reality" as opposed to "representation". We hope to apply these ideas to
the musical and identity approach of the label, letting powerful music speak above persuasive imagery & enticing embellishments.
Klein tried to make his audience experience a state where an idea could simultaneously be "felt" as well as "understood". In todays
musical market, we think the 'feeling' is being left behind in favour of the perception.
Void Coms celebrates it's inaugural audio transmission with one of todays true innovators. New Zealander Oliver Peryman aka Fis has
had just 3 releases to his credit so far, but has sent a whirlwind of intrigue across the entire electronic musical plain with these sound
sculptures. Fis has taken conventional musical composition and reformed it using an unexpected, but extremely rewarding method
that embeds itself in your psyche revealing new and unheard audio contortions with every listen. 'Homologous' takes the form of 3
compositions designed specifically for Void Coms, with Fis being heavily instrumental in the development of the ideology behind the
label, as well as spearheading it's musical direction.
VOIDCOMS001 has been mastered by Matt Colton at Alchemy to be released on 12" Vinyl with a laser etching of original artwork by
Fis designed exclusively for the release.

On the 9th of December, South London's Shades Recordings will release four weapons-grade industrial darts from nascent heavyweight Manni Dee. Having made his name and honed his production skills genre-hopping, Dee has lately put away childish
things, turning heads with an uncompromising, serious and upfront take on techno which has won him support from the likes of Tripeo, Perc & Blawan and gigs across the UK and beyond.
The EP, named for Sartre's 1943 treatise, explores Manni's fascination with the liminal space between noise and music, and the question of how far things can be stripped back for them to still resonate with our primitive core; the 'being' Sartre refers to. This is particularly evident in lead track Loop84, which sets a lean palette of angular technoid sounds against chest-rattling kicks and broken ambient structures to produce a rock-hard warehouse stormer.
Follower Objective Form maintains the toughness, this time injecting some acid into skittering breakbeat patterns, while Red Paint on
the Roses takes things into blistering 4/4 territory, all intense darkside drums and seething buildups. Final cut Eroded Viewpoint
draws influence from all of the above, whipping sharp metallic drums, acid stabs and garbled samples into a fizzing heads-down
industrial electro workout.
Being and Nothingness will be released in a limited vinyl run of 50

West London's Onoe Caponoe is one of the most
exciting MCs in the UK right now, having pinged up

naturally led to him taking the tools to it and giving it
a tweak in wonderful Djrum style. It's hip hop, but
not as we know it, as Djrum installs a drum pattern
that sounds like a cascading waterfall and his
trademark use of strings which underpin Onoe's
funkadelic vocals perfectly. This is a great
introduction to some forthcoming collaborations
between these two on 2nd Drop. Watch this space!

This is going to be Mixmag dub step single of the month for November courtesy Joe Muggs. Sherwood & Pinch is the ongoing collaboration between Adrian Sherwood, the magisterial dub innovator and owner of the seminal, cutting edge label, On-U Sound, and Pinch, the brains behind the Tectonic label and master of darkly filtered bass science. Since dropping their first single, 'Bring Me Weed' (June 2013), Sherwood and Pinch have continued to devastate the dance floors at events around the world with their deeply psychedelic, bass-driven, futuristic dub wizardry. The second vinyl offering from this hugely
exciting project is an up-tempo, surging, floor- killer entitled 'Music Killer'. It once again showcases the sound clash between these two producers who operate in the outer reaches of dub mastery and it's legacy in contemporary electronic music. 'Music Killer' is the result of the experimental and dynamic approach that the pair have applied to their !erce live performances and serves as a further taster of what is to come in 2014. Released as a strictly limited edition on beautiful green vinyl. Produced by: Sherwood and Pinch, Engineer: Dave McEwen. Artwork by Sam Whiffing.

Forgold / Sapience - Sleep Cycle / Nocturnal

This is it. It's been a long time coming - galactic realignment doesn't happen instantly - but the launch of the Sound Of The Cosmos
label is here at last, ready to short circuit all the rules of scenes, sounds and generations and bring you a whole new aesthetic rooted
in space, bass and soul. And its first release - a pair of twin 12's - is, we think you'll agree, a stone cold masterpiece; DJ support for
these tracks from the likes of Modeselektor, Mala, Laurent Garnier, Gilles Peterson, Rob Da Bank, Simian Mobile Disco, Plastician,
Mary Anne Hobbs, Pinch, Artwork, Om Unit, Chefal and many many more should back that up.
SOTC001Y showcases two artists from Tom's beloved West Country. Forgold's Autonomic-style 'Sleep Cycle' is an electrifying
addition to the currently endlessly fertile 170bpm scene - while the uncategorisable 140bpm shuffle of Sapience's Gilles Peterson-
tipped 'Nocturnal' creates an uncategorisable groove deeper than space itself.
SOTC as a living movement began in earnest with a 1000-capacity tent at the much-missed Big Chill in 2011, where the legend, the
true star that is Tom Middleton hooked up with music journalist Joe Muggs and West Country acid house veteran Richie Rundle to
put together a lineup that connected the new bass generation with the kind of celestial exploration that Tom has indulged with for
over two decades now. Those connections were reflected in further gigs, including a triumphant stage at Dimensions 2012, one of the
most popular Ninja Tune Solid Steel mixes of 2013 - the SOTC001 EP. A direct continuation of the connections made in Tom's stunning and still much sought-after 2002 'Sound of the
Cosmos' 3xCD, and coinciding with hugely popular recent releases on Josh Wink's Ovum and Above & Beyond's Anjunadeep, this
EP and those to follow represent a major player in electronic music history reclaiming his legacy.

Astrophonica
25.11.2013

King Tubby's pioneering use of the studio as an instrument in the 1970s gave us dub: a music, culture and aesthetic that in the past
30 years has permeated the entirety of modern music from hip hop to pop, jungle to techno. In 2013 Tubby's shadow looms larger
than ever over the shoulders of modern musicians, in their studios and on the stage.
Paris-based Moresounds is a proud student of Tubby, a man who found his artistic voice not only in the echoes of the Kingston
pioneer's legacy but also the grooves of hip hop and the psychedelia of rave and dance music. Moresounds' music is that rare thing:
a real synthesis of dub and dance music aesthetics, pulling from the enduring, mutating DNA strands of each to create something
that's beyond a mere mixture of styles.
This intricate synthesis was first showcased to the world via releases on Seattle's Car Crash Set, the Snafu EP, and Om Unit's
Cosmic Bridge label, the Control Breath EP. The latter has received worldwide praise and continued support from the likes of Low
End Theory's D-Styles and legendary selector David Rodigan while also catching the attention Astrophonica boss Fracture. Soon
enough a deal was sealed for Moresounds to follow Control Breath with a self-titled EP for the London label.
At a time when the scene Astrophonica has most closely been associated with thus far is experiencing a new influx of innovation from
its outer edges that resonates with those within who have continued to push the sound forward, Moresounds makes the perfect case
for established labels and producers to give worthy newcomers a chance to say their piece while turning a few heads and making
bodies sweat in the dance.

Radikal Guru - Subconscious

Poland's finest reggae dubstep export is back to guide us through the long dark winter with his highly anticipated second studio
album, Subconcious. Mateusz Miller solidified his position as one of the most exciting global ambassadors for the sound with his
2011 debut album and he returns to the mighty Moonshine Recordings with another killer full length selection of thick dread
bassweight and proper roots vibes. Matt's influences have always been varied, and his music's rich diversity is in full effect across the
LP as he adeptly shifts between tempos and moods, utilising his ear for melody and rhythm to create an absorbing collection of
timeless sounds. The ground shaking sub-frequencies central to each track are built to challenge soundsystems and ignite
dancefloors, whether it's on the livewire rhythms of his jungle indebted track 'Wicked Dub', the driving sonic force of the drum and
bass styled 'Different Dub' or the dubbed out, skank-ready movements of tracks like 'Earthwalker' and 'Indra'. As well as the all-
powerful bass pressure, Radikal Guru works with a colourful array of instrumentation, and brings in characterful vocalists YT, Danman
and Echo Ranks to provide melodic lead and reggae lyricism on 'Stay Calm', 'Know Yourself' and 'Warning!' respectively. The final
result is shining example of modern roots/ reggae-centred music in 2013, executed brilliantly and certain to last the test of time. Out
November 25th on vinyl, cd and digital download.

SOTC001X is led by the utterly unmistakeable Basement Jaxx-sampling broken acid-dub freakout 'Something Wrong With Daisy' by
London dubstep legend Silkie in collaboration with Atlanta bass-funk specialists Distal and Mite. This rave-demolishing lead tune is
immediately followed by newcomer Jabru's 'Glass Floor' which comes on like Roots Manuva's 'Witness' beat launched out into the
solar system to groove in zero gravity. Both of these tracks appear here in vinyl-exclusive versions. Finally, the sci-fi grandeur of
'Arrival' shows that though best known for future garage rhythms, Iranian-Texan cult producer VVV deserves recognition as a bravura
ambient producer.

and dark orchestral atmospheric sounds. The tune is built for the sound system. Immense autonomic kick drums forcefully beat
hypnotically, leaving the listener brooding amidst the subtle technicalities lingering in the background. Dark granulated mid ranges
push forward as 'Grainform' develops into its' fully consuming militant structure.
'Petrichor' builds swiftly into deep, melodic waves of ambient synth undulating amidst a very clean 4x4 kick pattern. Quick synth
stabs rapidly ascend and descend in a rhythmic scale that fortifies the groove of the B-side of this release. The atmosphere is tied
together with a technical mixture of layered snares, reverb and unique synth work. Thelem has created 'Petrichor' with a solid sense
of progression and energy. This intellectual take on dubstep boast innovation and originality from start to finish.

Biome - Abyss Ep

Biome

Abyss Ep

12inchMUV007
Macabre Unit Digital
19.08.2013

MUV 007 sees the return of the irrepressible Biome, with 3 tunes on this release. We kick off with Abyss, starting with an almost choir like wash, building atmosphere with apocalyptic horn blasts chorusing. It trips into a energetic roller, punishing kicks hit the chest between a blipping, bubbling bottom end. Crisp percussive hits punctuate, littered with electric zips and rasping filtered growls. Brimstone is a robust, energetic sonic assault. Powerful an emotive from the offset, entrancing strings rise and voices call out, before launching into attack, with powerful, almost techno-esque percussion, chunky pulsating lows, and industrial syncopated textures. Trademark Biome growls and constructs litter this fast paced, twisted low end roller. Redux is a unrelenting, heavy hitting half step affair. Thick sub-bass resonates between intense kicks and snaps, sinister echo ridden stabs rise and fade, and the atmosphere is ripped open by scrawled ñout growls and sinister, filtered rasps. Dark, eyes down business.

Dawn Day Night - Re-animations Ep

0Ridley Road Market, Dalston, London. August 2013 Before the outbreak, the market was full of exotic food, clothes and spices. Now all that's left is a sea of mindless undead beings roaming the streets, a non stop 808 lowend rumble and the stench of chicken bones. All this because of a record. It looked different. It sounded different and the results of playing it were catastrophic. As soon as Dawn Day Night's 2012 debut EP was played, a ritual began . . . Unbeknown to music lovers all over the world, they had given Dawn Day Night the power to walk the earth once again. That power now grows stronger and he is almost ready to reanimate 4 undead booty shakers; the 'ReAnimations EP'. With his undead army growing and a diary full of festival shows this summer, ask yourself; are you prepared for survival DJ support: Kutmah, Om Unit, Addison Groove, Fracture, Daedelus, Rob Da Bank, Machinedrum Machinedrum: 'Big tunes! It's like the dancefloor turned into an 80s horror flick. Evil Dead bass jams yo.' Addison Groove: 'Been a go to in my sets since i've had it. firepower.

Perverse - Echolocation / Tempest

Operating straight out of Poland, New Moon Recordings have steadily pieced together an eclectic discography that has firmly
highlighted them as one of the most exciting labels on the Dubstep landscape. Delivering 5 releases of pure sub-sonic force with class from production talent including Phaeleh, Killawatt, Biome, Thelem, Indigo and Hatti Vatti, quality control measures are high and
the beats are uncompromising. With a blistering standard set, for their 6th release they look to Kiwi upstarts Perverse to keep the momentum rolling with their dark, visceral interpretations of Dubstep's foundational sound. Three tracks feature to form a triple headed monster and they come
well supported by Youngsta and a whole host of the scene's most discerning DJs. The lead track 'Echolocation' is most certainly one for the skankers as Perverse kick off proceedings by alternating
rolling tribal styled bongo patters with fierce Reece mutations and rigid kick snare combinations that swing the groove back and forth across a chilling backdrop. The flipside 'Tempest' conjures an
undulating pulse of seismic sub-bass that lurks beneath minimal halfstepping drum patterns and ambient harmonies that bristle uneasily with sinister sound design. In a change of pace, the digital bonus track 'Somber', injects vividly introspective melancholic soul best suited for the post-rave aftermath, rounding off a killer release that further demonstrates their degree of accomplishment and scope as musicians.

Murlo - Last Dance Ep

Murlo

Last Dance Ep

12inchGLACIAL002
Glacial Sound
20.11.2013

Chris Pell is having a busy year. In between illustrating label art and making the gulliest of bassline as DJ Sharda, he has seen his Murlo alias gather breakneck momentum thanks to his diverse array of leftfield grime-centred instrumentals. Murlo keeps the vibe varied, infusing his tracks with elements from soca, funky and R&B to create a unique sound that has received support from some of the games heaviest selectors including Blackdown, Oneman, Brackles and Slackk.

Most excitingly, Murlo has linked up with Glacial Sound to deliver their imminent second record on November 25th, the much anticipated 'Last Dance' EP. You may have seen Chris's own Last Dance video doing the rounds, a backdrop of regal opulence to suit the quirkiness of the track; sparse handclap percussion and punchy kicks beneath ornate snyth trills and broad violin strokes, like some kind of sleek dancefloor-aimed grime banger from the Baroque era.

If you have caught Oneman lately, you will have heard him battering the living daylights out of 'Robes', using its buoyant carnival rhythms to deadly effect. 'Velvet Wall' is built in a similar vein, with Murlo flipping the eski sound and packing it with snappy rhythms and gliding melodies to form a heavy orchestral-edged cut. To round off the EP, Glacial Sound have enlisted Slackk to twist Velvet Wall into a woozy, sino-grime flavoured beat with a similar aesthetic to some of his recent Minor Triads material, and Robes receives a rough, bassline lead 4x4 treatment from Manchester's excellent Swing Ting outfit.

*J:Kenzo is a key presence in London's current dubstep community. Leading a new generation of artists directly inspired by the genre's pioneers, his productions are renowned as deadly weapons in the deep dubstep arsenal, pouring across dancefloors with the unstoppable force of a tidal wave.

His latest for Tempa gathers two tracks bristling with Kenzo's customary sonic signatures - a titanium-plated sheen,razor-precise bassweight, intricate attention to space and sound design - but draws them into new territories along the way..

Kid Drama - In Mind Ep

In Mind Ep

Exit Records
18.11.2013

Damon Kirkham aka Kid Drama made his first steps into the 170 bpm realms as one half of the game changing production
partnership Instra:mental.
Together with dBridge their Autonomic podcasts went down in history for breathing new life back into a somewhat stagnant
underground Drum and Bass scene, showcasing their material alongside many other producers and pricking up many ears that had
long since given up on the genres increasingly formulaic output.
After a few years working under his Jon Convex moniker, he returns to the higher tempos as Kid Drama feeling there is still a lot of
uncharted territory left to explore. Together with dBridge he has embarked on a new podcast series (Heart Drive) which again aims to
showcase their new material and that of like minded producers.
His first release as Kid Drama 'One Six Eight' appeared on the Mosaic Vol 2 LP followed by a remix of one of his own Jon Convex
tracks on Convex Industries 'With You' but here we have his debut full release as Kid Drama including collaborations with Om Unit
and Hands Like Crime.
