* The original sister label to Ram Records from the old Ram HQ studio in Essex, Liftin Spirit Records now celebrates it’s 25th year with a special ‘RELOADED’ limited vinyl series of remastered classics, alongside rare and previously unreleased tracks since the beginning in1992.

* DATs from artists such as Andy C, Ant Miles, Shimon, Joint Venture, Interrogator and Red One have been located in the archives. Also from the Ram & Liftin HQ came tracks for the Deep Seven label in 1993 and all these rare DAT masters have been located and now re-cut by Simon, the original Ram & Liftin vinyl masterer at ‘The Exchange’. Initially, Deep Seven remasters will present on a printed white label and unreleased tracks will have a black label.

* Its U: This track was a collaboration with ‘Rainbow Country’ and Ant Miles from the very early years 1991-92. This track was actually released on a first label attempt starting life as ‘Etheric Records’ that Ant later morphed into ‘Liftin Spirit Records’. A Hardcore stormer of the era, smashed by DJ Randall and Grooverider back in the day.
Highlander: Again from way back in 1991, although under the guise of Desired State, this track featured on Ant’s friends label ‘Strategy Records’ which was inspiring Andy & Ant to formulate their own labels.
Turntable Overload: A remix from 1992 by Andy C and Ant Miles for Royal T & DJ XL originally released on Strategy Records. Once again encapturing that early 1990’s Hardcore sound that Strategy became well known for.
Move In Motion: The second flip side remix that Ant & Andy created for Royal T & DJ XL, once again, originally released on Strategy Records and remastered from the original DAT.

Peckham MC & DJ Pinty is set to release his debut EP 'City Limits' this March on Rhythm Section International. Following the recent release of his debut single 'Tropical Bleu' , a laid-back broken-beat roller produced by friend and collaborator King Krule under his DJ JD SPORTS alias, Pinty has quickly become the talk of the town.

As the new voice of South London, Pinty's witty wordplay and effervescent club sound take influence from the introspective poetry of The Streets, the downbeat moods of King Krule and the jazz tinged house tones of production partner Maxwell Owin. Since his self-released 2015 mixtape, the ten-track spectacle 'Midnight Moods', he has also begun to make waves with his distinctly individual live performances, playing in Paris with hip-hop star Rejjie Snow, in New York with RATKING, and locally for the likes of Boiler Room and Just Jam. Features on Glenn Astro and Jamie Isaac tracks along with gracing the Autumn issue of the Peckham Peculiar round off a noteworthy rise to prominence.

Lead single 'Tropical Bleu' boasted the hallmarks of Marshall's late-night production coupled with Pinty's unique MC-led approach to the dancefloor.

Now 'Nightcrawler' presents a simmering nocturnal dance cut, charged with glowing bursts of deep house, candid lyrics and aself-directed video portraying a woozy tale of London's underbelly.

Flitting between hip hop, house, UKG, and darker electronic sounds, Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section International makes perfect sense for Pinty's debut release, which takes its title from a prolific early 2000's South London graffiti legend. With deeply personal lyricism and wry humour, 'City Limits' adds colour to a mostly grey city. Music and creativity was a core part of Pinty's youth, his dad was a poet and older brother an MC during the golden age of garage and jungle. Fast forward to 2019 and he's part of a dynamic collective of producers, singers, musicians and rappers, as well as hosting radio shows on influential stations Reprezent and Balamii.

Already a major pull in the capital, 'City Limits' marks Pinty's graduation from local sensation to international proposition, as he prepares to fly the nest of the city that spawned him.

Belonging is the second full length album by Berlin based producer Takeleave.

The multi-instrumentalist dedicates this release to an allegory of arrival and homesickness, after his first album Inner Sea focused on the journey itself. While the latest album was mostly written in different places, Belonging has been produced solely in the same place in Berlin, where most of the songs have evolved from intuitive jams on the instrument.

„This album turned out to sound as intimate and intuitive as it was for me when writing these songs. I feel like i got a little step closer to my own sound over the last year.“

Tokyo Horoki or Tokyo Wanderings is a collection of Pleasure Cruiser’s collaborations from living in Tokyo, these tracks were made across continents started and finished in Tokyo, Okayama, Berlin and London.

This EP is Volume two in the series of early 1990's slower tracks by Mike Wells that Rabbit City didn't want to release as they wanted all "Bangers".

Berghain Fünfzehn sees Luke Slater creating new compositions from the Ostgut Ton back catalogue, chopping, looping tweaking and deploying sounds into a mix that is both a playful retrospective of the label and future-facing vision for mixing and dance music. On April 17, seven exclusive tracks from the Berghain Fünfzehn DJ mix will be released on two 12”s and for streaming/digital download. De- and reconstructing the Ostgut Ton discography, Slater’s vision encompasses not only sampling but live electronics and improvisation, resulting in a broad spectrum of heady and liminal dance music: from ultra stripped-back mindfuck techno, vocals and blasts of distortion to breakbeat excursions, minimalistic acid, and rave polyrhythms. In other words: the arc of the label through Slater’s singular hallucinatory prism.

For the fifth anniversary of Buraka Som Sistema's 2016 farewell show in their hometown of Lisbon, Portugal - and the 15th anniversary of their debut EP - we're celebrating this important milestone by releasing 'Buraka 4 Ever', an album created from the recordings of this legendary concert where the band's most iconic songs were last performed in front of a roaring live audience.

It’s in the grey space combining careful precision and an unbridled lack of restraint that Sydney musician Morgan Huggins hones his craft.

An advertising school graduate who couldn’t ignore his love of music, Morgan exudes a feeling of carefree commitment not only in his music, but in his approach to life. With an extreme attention to detail, Morgan’s sound fluctuates between delicate and throbbing moments, all in the pursuit of a memorable listening, and more importantly dancing, experience.

While Morgan is new to releasing music, he’s no stranger to Australia’s scene. Co-heading events, raves, festivals and gigs under the name of Lovejoy, Morgan’s experience with music has already been a long and personal one. Having supported the likes of Moodymann, Jennifer Loveless, Tom Trago, Andy Garvey & Lou Karsh, he has spent time perfecting his craft.

Morgan created Anzac Bridge Filter over the last two years, as he reconnected the city where he grew up, and where he now lives. It’s named after his favourite bridge, which he’s spent many hours traversing both physically and mentally, matched with the filter on his favourite synthesiser, Moog’s Sub 37.

“For me it is nostalgic, happy and sad all at once,” Morgan says. “These songs were written with the hope of reminding people that life is beautiful when they forget, as so many other songs have done for me. If “crying on the dancefloor” were a genre, I would pick that one.

For the most part, this record was finished in various small town libraries up and down the East Coast of Australia as I travelled and camped by myself at the start of 2020. The bushfires were still very much burning, and everywhere you went you could taste the smoke, and see freshly burnt houses, and yet everywhere I went people smiled at each other as they walked down the street.”

As he continues to produce, perform and collaborate, Morgan Huggins is moving into a new phase in 2021. He embraces his exposure to the music culture around him and has crafted a unique sound which is now being showcased to Australia and the world.

“I would particularly like to thank the librarians who were undoubtedly confused by my presence,” Morgan said.

One of the heaviest roller disco jams out there, Vaughan Mason and Crew disco funk classic ‘Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll’ reached #5 on the US Billboard Hot Soul Singles back in ’79. It later went on to be sampled by countless producers including Daft Punk and A Tribe Called Quest for it’s ‘Good Times’ inspired bassline and killer drum breaks.

Daniel Bortz, a staple among electronic music producers, returns with his new album "Stay". After "Patchwork Memories" on Suol from 2013, it's the second album for Berlin-born and Augsburg-rooted Daniel. From his early days of James Blake editing and riding the slow house wave, Daniel has perfected and diversived his production skills over the seven year course between the albums. His range spans euphoric techno, cinematic breakbeats, heart warming electronica and classic deep house, you can witness on his eps for Innervisions, Pastamusik (the infamous Bella Avgvsta trilogy) or even on the legendary DJ Kicks mix series from grandmaster Moodymann, who selected one of Bortz's tracks on his volume. After his three eps (one with his friend and long time collaborator Sascha Sibler and one under his DJ Hotel alias) on Permanent Vacation, Daniel takes the consequential step and releases his second full-length album with the Munich based label. With the 11 tracks on "Stay", Daniel Bortz evokes his teenage years and dreamwalks through his upbringing during the 90's. Musically he brings together what never should have been separated: House, Acid, Downbeat and Breakbeat all rooted in the sample aesthetic of Hip Hop, thereby capturing the full emotional spectrum of life and love. Music that came to stay.

Lagoon is the protagonist of the ninth release of the Spanish label Several Roots, a collective of national artists that aims to roll out native talent and of which they are co-founders together with other travelling companions. Alta Ley is formed by three original tracks and three remixes by Músculo!, Jackwasfaster and Adhesive. This EP is the third work by the Galician duo and the first vinyl release by Several Roots. Electronics that, far from being linked to any specific style, offers a musical variety that goes from downtempo to breaks, including space disco or IDM.

LIFE, is a work to celebrate 20 years of the NEGOCIUS MAN project, rescuing 4 tracks recorded between (2010-2020) in a limited special edition of 500 Copies on black vinyl. Julian Sartorius aims to test infinity. Focussing on reduction and repetition, the versatile artist, drummer, and percussionist, has recorded an album capable of suspending time: "These highly condensed compositions should be explored like landscapes: distinct places defined by the forces at play." Exploring the potential of a repertoire performed under rigorous conditions and regulated by a loop length of 1.8 seconds, Sartorius responds with a disciplined focus on tonal nuances, micro expressions and shifting time signatures.

The 112 locked grooves of this album — or 112 one-minute loops on the digital release — unveil an abundance of rhythmic forms, some vigorous, some frail, others impulsive, alluring, and adrift. Sartorius' precise, multi-layered rhythmical patterns are incisive excursions into the hidden tones of found objects and prepared instruments, concise arrangements which bridge the gap between sound art and the vocabulary of (experimental) electronic music.

On 'Locked Grooves' Sartorius interrogates the idea of a 'static' groove, unfurling an endless, meticulously gradated percussive suite. This is the point at which intangible structures materialize, becoming four-dimensional, sculptural, solid. Sartorius explains: "I hope listeners will experience these compositions like they would explore a painting at a museum - letting the work unfold in depth, revealing layer after layer."

Julian Sartorius has made a name for himself with a series of extraordinary conceptual projects: "Morph" was a 7.5 year-long series of 8-second audio loops combined with handmade imagery, eventually incorporated into a 5-hour film, while the 12" LP box set "Beat Diary" comprised 365 beat tracks, each of them recorded daily, irrespective of any surrounding circumstances.

Julian Sartorius has collaborated with a diverse, illustrious circle of musicians and producers, including the likes of Sophie Hunger, Valentina Magaletti (Tomaga, Vanishing Twin), Matthew Herbert, Sylvie Courvoisier, Gyda Valtysdottir, Dimlite, Shahzad Ismaily and Dan Carey (Speedy Wunderground).

Pure raw unfiltered Hardcore, just like it was back in the day. Stepping up here on contemporary UK rave imprint, Sneaker Social Club - Jerome Hill re-animates his Hornsey Hardcore alias for a third time. The object of the Hornsey Hardcore project is to make early 90's style Hardcore tracks but without using any extra production frills or modern twists. It's legit!

Another superb and highly sought after release from Liquid Crystal aka NRG. This one was a very limited press back in the day, and is often referred to as Chromatic EP Vol. 3. A very rare set of tracks indeed, but here it is, lovingly remastered….

Luca Lozano continues where his Junglish Massive Mixtape stopped, his A-side tracks span from stiff & techy breakbeat with pads as well as uptempo D&B with warm bass & classic sounds. Rüf Dug winds it up on the B, first more uptempo and frenetic but then he eases out with a marvelous chill out jungle cut with saxophones and all that atmosphere one can need for dreaming.

Dax J returns in epic fashion with his 2nd album on Monnom Black taking you on a journey through techno, acid, ebm, idm and jungle. 14 killer cuts! Legendary and absolutely essential!

* Out Of Romford and New Decae were often way ahead of their time, and Statue Of Gold may have been the most advanced, and therefore the most divisive of the early releases. Combining trance elements (before that style had been invented) with some heavy techno elements (before that was part of the old skool rave scene) the track is definitely marmite. Those that love it do so entirely, and those that don’t…don’t. Cru-l-t was always a huge fan of the track, and was thrilled to give it a new mix, leaning into the older jungle style with deep aplomb!
