German veteran Marc Romboy is back on André Hommen’s ​These Eyes imprint with a stellar two track release entitled ​Elka, ​showcasing Marc’s effortless ability to portray alluring and emotive characteristics through music​. ​This offering follows up from ​Trapped In An Orbit​, which he released on the label in 2017 and remains a label highlight to this day.

The title track ​Elka provides a stirring and suspenseful journey that plays out as it’s melodies unfold over a bassline that pulses gently and impels the listener. ​Unreal Sun ​ups the energy with a groove thats ready to fall into and chords that lead the way, dictating the pace as their intensity undulates.

Marc Romboy has dedicated 30 years to the scene, with an impressive history of releases on labels like Innervisions and his own Systematic Recordings, collaborating with artists such as Stephan Bodzin. It is a point to be made that the A side to this release is one of Marc’s personal favourites to date and it is clear to see why.

This record took a while to be finished but we're glad to finally release this beautiful EP from Matthew. The title track ‚Heimreise‘ has already been around a few years ago but never got to be released officially due to the vocal sample. After speaking to Matthew he sent us the track and we used it in our Cercle set last year which gave the track a second life and lots of people were asking for an official release. After lengthy negotiations the sample could be cleared and licensed and we finally finished the EP. We worked on a remix for ‚Heimreise' what turned out to be quite a challenge but after all we could wrap it up right before deadline and the whole record was ultimately done and set to release.

These two originals need no big introduction or explanation. ‚Heimreise' and 'Random Dub Fix' are wonderful displays of Matthews Dekay’s ability to create such hypnotic grooves that almost put you in a state of meditation. We still have so much fun playing these out that we really think this is a timeless piece of music. Thank you all for the patience, we’re happy that ‚Heimreise' found its forever home with Siamese.

Embrace is the sixth studio album by Dutch trance DJ and producer Armin van Buuren. The album features hits like “Another You (ft. Mr. Probz)”, “Off The Hook (ft. Hardwell)”, “Looking For Your Name (ft. Gavin DeGraw)” & “Heading Up High (ft. Kensington)”. Other notable collaborators include Angel Taylor, Cosmic Gate, Eric Vloeimans and many others. The album was originally released in 2015 through Van Buuren’s own label Armada Music. Critics noted how the record has a poppy, commercial appeal, but still allows the emotional essence of trance music to shine through.

Embrace is released as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on black & white marbled vinyl. It comes with a
4-page insert with pictures, lyrics and credits, and the run-out groove contains secret inscriptions.

Originally released in 2010, Mirage is the fourth studio album by renowned Dutch trance DJ and producer Armin van Buuren. Widely regarded as a astaple in Van Buurens impressive career, Mirage peaked at number 3 in the Dutch Album Top 100, as well as reaching the top 5 of the US Top Dance/Electronic Albums. It contains the popular single ‘Not Giving Up On Love’, featuring British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor. As the record lasts nearly 80 minutes total, it is released as a double LP. It is pressed on red coloured 180 gram audiophile vinyl. The package includes a gatefold with spot varnish and lyrics, as well as an insert with pictures and credits.

For the next Mind Dance excursion Frank delivers Venom Viper; a five-cut genre defying ep full of raw emotion, gritty vocal recordings, obtrusive baselines and addictive melodies. For club use and/or home listening.

It has been a little over a year since the release of 747's debut album, in which the Canadian masterfully drew notes of inspiration from the 90s to create an enchanting hour-long dream. In his first EP since, 747 returns from a temporal leap, bringing with him a blend of sounds and expressions to forge a timeless trip which hinges on the sounds of the 303.

Opening the release, "you,you" unfolds with a gentle and shimmery padded ambiance of anticipation. Gentle and light-footed percussion is soon interrupted by a dramatic siren, a warning beacon. Frenetic energy ensues, a frantic rush to the floor met with a cloudy head. Encompassed in an envelope of disorienting wailing and intermittent buzzing, but finally grounded by the familiarity of a 4/4 bass drum.

"Does Anybody Remember Laughter?" steps in to relinquish the force of gravity. The animated arpeggio and gleaming singing acid line rise up, uncovering the kaleidoscopic nature of the structural surroundings.

"While My 303 Gently Weeps" divulges further, exposing an underlying grid of dark geometry - binary and robotic. The topology of surfaces becomes increasingly fractalized, until the solo overtakes with a somber sadness. The 303 notes guide the mind on a melancholic and meditative walk along the grand staff, met after the break with a sense of hope and serenity.

To close, "You Missed the Starting Gun" recounts the journey through a twisting mesh of thoughts: sorrow and actualization. A calming hypnotic presence is felt. Stability ensues - an afterglow.

Following up his debut release on SOEX, Whitvoir welcomes local Warrandyte producer Jon Jones to the label launch with ‘Airflow.’ A four track expedition through the environments that we call home in Australia, native birds and wildlife simulate a listening experience similar to that of a day spent in God’s country. Organic, ‘Outback Trance’ produced to suit all listening environments around the globe.

Mystic jungle is a percussive journey that transports you straight to the bush, suiting barefoot groovers warming up for the day. Dubbed out 80s synths paired with organic percussions bring a tribal feel grabbing attention with spaced out native bird calls. Mystic Jungle’s solid groove and big chuggy bass lines are guaranteed to have you in an ‘Australiana’ dream trance like state.

Transupial brings an airy tribal groove, choppy and boppy with a wubby 303 that keeps the track moving along. Pitched kalimbas bring a quirky flavour which gets deep and dystopian as the track progresses. ‘Totally Wild.’ The title track ‘Airflow’ is a captivating atmospheric journey through space, delicate deep and dubby suited for dancefloors around the globe. Rolling breaks, natural percussion paired with a chuggy 303 bass line and pan flute from an 80s Roland Synth capture a new flavour of Australian dance music.

Phantom spirit picks up the pace encouraging the ones and twos, washy hats, rolling kicks and 80s toms sprinkled throughout bring character to Jone’s production. Trancey synth lines with airy vocals bring the spirit of the phantom to life, paired with a wavy 303 line keeping the track ever-evolving. One to keep your ear out for at festivals around the world over the coming seasons.

To understand where 'The Attic' came from, we have to go back to one of my oldest memories: watching Der Phantastische Film on German tv. The movies that left the deepest marks on me were the ones that zoomed in on the possible bad sides of technology and predicted the downfall of mankind. A next personal cornerstone was Tubeway Army's 'Are 'friends' electric', from 1979: it was the first time I was blown away by the sound of synths. It felt so new, an expression of the perversity of technology through music. The song was about androids who seduced humans in order to rape them. The shortcomings of human beings transported to technology. It was machines turning against humanity. It wasn't like Kraftwerk who were very first degree, unpersonal and too clean.

I was an early adopter of home computers, but the instruments and studio stuff to make music were still out of my reach in the early eighties. So when sampling came along, for me it was not only an important change in sound image, but it opened up all these possibilities too. And then finally, in the mid-eighties - I was working in the military - people started selling their hardware to make the switch to digital. I bought loads of old gear and started experimenting with sound. It was around the time when the whole new beat thing exploded in Belgium. I despised it. To me they were yuppies with smileys plundering a subculture, shitting out one bland record after another... At the time I was listening to B-2 Unit by Sakamoto, or the weird electropop of YMO. That's probably where my idea of techno was shaped: this idea of electronics mixed with the German Bauhaus school, or with abstract Malevich paintings.

I quit the army around 1990, and shortly thereafter I had a dark dream that caused me to make 'The Attic'. I was in the attic of a house. It felt magical, but there was a sense of underlying danger. I looked up and the roof came off and started to dissolve, and I heard voices with bird like frequencies calling from the cosmos: 'come with us, come with us.' Maybe it was about the deification of technology Anyway, the image and the feeling of the dream were so vivid I transcribed them to music in maybe two days.

When the demo was finished, we went straight to Boccaccio and handed it to Olivier Pieters, who immediately played it. 'The Attic' went on to become one of the signature songs for which they switched on the big lasers. It started to live its own life: I heard it in shopping streets in Amsterdam, it was blazing from cars, it was huge in Germany after the wall fell, etc.

I quickly realized the music business wasn't something for me though: all these people with their profiling urge, the bootlegs, the fact that music got pushed into formats ... In retrospect, I was part of a scene without really taking part in it.

Mike Dierickx's Push guise is a world-renowned name in the many facets of dance music, particularly within the trance genre. Since 1994 this guy has been putting out top quality sounds, from Acid Hysteria to Da Story. 1998 was the breakthrough year in many respects, it was the year that Universal Nation was born, the rest is history. Surprisingly - for an artist who had been around for a long time - his first album didn't arrive until 2000. The first album from Push was From Beyond, this one was full of already established hits as well as new material from the trance maestro himself. The mighty Universal Nation, Travelogue, Strange World, The Legacy and more. So, we’ve decided to give this one a fresh release as a 12” vinyl sampler containing three choice cuts, Till We Meet Again, Tranzy State Of Mind and Cosmonautica. Check this one out and discover Mike's melodic touches and driving trance grooves.

One the A-side we have a brand-new bonus track titled, Elegance. A real dynamic, charging uplifter with nostalgic qualities. True fans and proper trance enthusiasts will love this one. Full, chunky kick drums lead us out as a chugging bassline is joined by huge synth stabs, fashioned into pleasurable melodies with that distinct Push sound. The break builds nicely, getting the hands in the air, waiting for the oncoming climax which does not disappoint.

Joining Elegance on the A-side, we have Tranzy State Of Mind, an epic, full on trance mover. A typical Push production with cascading melodies that send shivers down your spine. The chugging bassline and solid beats drew you in, infecting the mind while the euphoria kicked in thanks to those sublime synths.

On the flip side in the B1 slot we have a special tribute Mike wrote for his friend and colleague, Stephano Marino. Till We Meet Again is a dynamic and emotionally charged slice of trance. Full of energy and drive, this one remains one of the best trance records ever made.

In the B2 position, Cosmonautica resides, taking us on a slightly different path. The intro is non-descript with a muted kick and soft melody. Sharper synths and twisted percussions come through before a rolling bassline takes over. The track builds and builds into a powerful trance groove, full of emotion and drive.

Psy-fi Sounds Vol.1 is a compilation featuring collaborations with several artists from Canada and beyond. Influences span the history of electronic music and focus on Progressive House, Trance, Techno and Ambient. We continue 2020 (our 28th year!) with a special 10” vinyl which houses two outstanding classics. Innertales’ Odyssee and Oudja’s Amazone get the wax treatment this time round and we’ve no doubt this will be a popular release.

The late, great Philippe Van Mullem aka Quadran was the man behind Innertales, this project was a much deeper concept than his previous and latter outputs which revealed another layer to this guy’s talent. Responsible for putting us on course in the progressive trance scene, Philippe has left behind an unparalleled legacy, and while he may no longer be with us, that legacy remains strong. Odyssee, originally a B-side on Innertales – Part Two (Hard Times Recordings) takes us on a surreal, emotional, melodic fuelled trance journey. Soft notes are encapsulated by striking pads and gentle arpeggios. A solid bassline ties the track together while a tight drum arrangement keeps the groove flowing.

On the flip we find Oudja aka Gregory Dewindt and his superb Amazone which also started life on Hard Times Recordings as a B-side to Opium. The track was picked up on Bonzai Trance Progressive some years later and became an instant hit with a few remixes thrown in. Gregory is responsible for a whole raft of releases for us across many labels and sub-labels. Blue Alphabet, Cyclop, Jaga, Limited Growth and for a time, Phrenetic System are just a few of the projects he was involved in. He certainly contributed to shaping the Bonzai sound. Amazone typifies the era, with quality and style oozing from the track. A strong, heavy kick drum opens the track before classic breaks style percussions come through. That mesmerizing main hook takes over along with the infectious bassline, sending the floors into a frenzy. The track builds to a symphony of violins before coming back down, leaving us wanting more.

Following on from the heavyweight collaboration with Sasha for ‘The Lights’, Kölsch returns to his IPSO imprint for a remarkable remix of the trance classic ‘Stella’ by Jam & Spoon.

Adding his own signature progressive tones, whilst keeping the original synths and vocals, Kölsch’s remix rounds off with a pulsing acid line. The rework is set for acclaim as it continues the trajectory from ‘The Lights’ which was made Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on his BBC Radio 1 show.

This latest release solidifies IPSO’s reputation as one of dance music’s leading labels, with the Dane expanding the brand to Miami, Watergate Berlin, and Amsterdam Dance Event last year. Alongside this, Kölsch performed two sold-out IPSO shows to 8,000 people in Antwerp as well as playing two 10 hour sets on consecutive nights at Belgian venue Waagnatie.

Well known for his genre-defining cuts, Kölsch has sold millions of records all over the world under his many different monikers, including the seminal LP ‘1977’ and renowned albums ‘1983’ & ‘1989’, with the latter including the hit single ‘Grey’.

Having already played sold out shows at Printworks London and T7 Paris, Kölsch looks set for another busy summer this year with performances lined up at the likes of Coachella, DGTL Amsterdam, Awakenings Festival, Sonus and Creamfields.

Airwave, one of Belgium’s iconic underground dance music gurus celebrates 20 years and, to mark the occasion we have something really special lined up. From the moment this musical genius stepped into the Bonzai offices with those first, early recordings, we just knew he was going places with that unique, perfectionist sound he created.

Two decades on, he is still creating supremely unique soundscapes that continue to captivate. For Airwave it’s all about the music, he puts his heart and soul into every production and is rewarded with dedication and loyalty from his massive fanbase.

The clever rework of Charlotte de Witte shows off her deeper side, providing a submerged feel while not losing focus of the floor and sprinkling in the acid stab for good measure. Emika‘s creative interpretation is pairing her bread and butter – pulsing sub-bass and battering grime-style synth-arps – with a completely new vocal dub. Her fresh fusion of genre-specific tropes serves as a delightful surprise and is one to make the heads turn. Jensen Interceptor turns in exactly the kind of fast-moving, tightly grooving, no-nonsense electro that we‘ve come to expect from the prolific producer. Straight up and honest, a true Drexciyan descendant. Galloping and hopping, it‘s the Midnight Operator-remix that paces at breakneck speed yet luckily offers some great breakdown moments to catch your breath before they hammer it home on this stuttering full-throttle ride. Renaissance recruit Tale of Us for the second the second edition of their quarterly-century celebrations.With the first release in this series occupying #1 status for 6 weeks last summer, Renaissance are back with the second instalment of their 25th Anniversary 'The Remix Collection' project. For the follow-up to Solomun's immense reworking of Age Of Love, Renaissance have bagged more Techno royalty in the shape of Italian duo Tale Of Us, to take on the huge task of remixing another iconic 90's classic.The track in question is the legendary 'Café Del Mar' by the 90's trance project, Energy 52. Much alike the previous remix by Solomun, it seems Tale Of Us also have their work cut out for them, as this track has had no shortage of remixes over the years. However, the popularity of 'Café Del Mar' is not simply reflected through its remix roster. Named after the iconic bar at the heart of the Ibiza clubbing scene, it was the soundtrack to the rave-culture movie, 'Human Traffic' in 1999. In addition to this 'Café Del Mar' later went on to be voted #1 in MixMag's 2001 '500 Best Tracks Ever' list.With this second remix, Tale of Us take the classic elements that made Café Del Mar such a huge track in the 90's, bringing them into the present-day with big licks of bass and a huge crescendo. Carrying forward the focus of the series, this remix refreshes the iconic track for a new generation of listeners.
