Our usual creator of these texts and an eloquent storyteller Luge has asked me to step in for this one so here you go and buckle up ladies & gentlemen. To state the obvious the label will see its first split EP which will go by the name Meat Fools. The side A is created by Caprithy and side B by Denis Kostitsyn, who are two longtime friends and the residents of the project ABCD originating from the city Izhevsk. These hardworking focused producers brought this vinyl to life for you to immense in their world and connect for us altogether regardless where your body is based. The combustion of sounds within this wax piece is dark, moody and fits to the label’s ideology like the Cinderella’s shoe.

Bonzai Classics continues to dig into the archives, selecting some of the best retro gems. DJ Looney Tune is next in line for the vinyl treatment and we’ve got two bangers to make it even more special. DJ Looney Tune is the brainchild of top Belgian artist Ramses De Craene, who is also known for several other projects such as, Da Tune, Freeze, Hard Beatz, M.W.F., R.A.M.S.E.S. and Tazmanian. He has also worked in several groups, notably Black Widow, Bomb Trexx, Hard Beatz, Mental Refreshment, Oddworld (with Laurent Veronnez), Phrenetic System, Repulsive 2 (with Stefan Melis), The Bomb Squad, The Sync (with Mike Dierickx) and Zenith where he contributed heavily to the early Bonzai sound. Under his DJ Looney Tune guise, he was responsible for many top hits in Europe and across the world, Beatbox on Bonzai Records, Jumpin' & Pumpin' on Bonzai Jumps and Boom On The Moon on Axma among others. It was these tracks that catapulted his presence on the scene and when Workstation hit the sound systems things took off even bigger. The track was synonymous with peak time moments in clubs where it brought the crowd higher and higher with its trancey techno style. Several remixes were commissioned soon after, with M.I.K.E.'s Energized Remix doing the business, thanks to his magic touch. On this freshly squeezed 10” vinyl we’ve got M.I.K.E.’s famous remix along with the much tougher, edgier Jumpin’ & Pumpin’. A perfect addition to any collection.

Rare bonus disc from seminal UK Rave group Drum Club. Originally released as part of a limited edition pressing of their 1994 album “Drums Are Dangerous”. Both sides feature an alternative dance floor remix of the track "Illuminated" where ethereal vocals of “It’s A Fine Day” singer Kirsty Hawkshaw are layered over dreamy percussive workouts.

World-class DJ legend Paul Oakenfold and Latin multi-Grammy award winner Luis Fonsi team up on The World Can Wait, an unexpected collaboration meshing the artists’ strengths to produce a heartfelt masterpiece. While combining Oakenfold’s uplifting, melodic synths with Fonsi’s emotional vocals, they take us on a journey where the hopes of an undeniable connection are enough to conquer the world, especially in these troubled times. Co-produced by DJWS (Lady Gaga, Pitbull), The World Can Wait is the first single to be released from Paul’s new album, his first since critically the acclaimed A Lively Mind (2006) and Bunkka (2000) will veer down a decidedly chilled out path, making it an incredibly listenable album and not one solely crafted for the dance floor. “I just love the song and the meaning of the lyrics. The song came about during a writing session I was doing with a few writers and we took it to Luis Fonsi and his team who loved the song as well. It’s a good taste of what’s to come from my studio album – it’s mostly melodic songs and very cinematic with great singers and interesting beats. It’s something you will want to sit down and listen to in its entirety rather than as individual tracks,” Oakenfold says.

A febrile, downtempo melange of screwed classics and original productions, ‘From Back There Again’ is Full Circle’s 5th full-length session in this fertile zone of dance music’s imagination. Serving the spiritual need for slower, more sensual movements in light of the contemporary BPM arms race, Full Circle look back to go forward - or, more pertinently - perpendicular to the dance music continuum; corkscrewing classic early ‘90s trance and cosmic Italian disco models along lines of inspiration from Middle Eastern and Subcontinental musics to open dancers’ third eyes and weave their chakras into sexier shapes.

In the foggiest recesses of our memory, this kind of lark used to be so much more commonplace in the backrooms of clubs during the ‘90s and even into the early ‘00s, but has become lost-in- translation with successive waves of ravers expecting full throttle from start to finish, or at least a sort of escalating narrative arc. Full Circle stand for a sort of romantic counter-cultural aspect of dance music that feels more necessary now than ever.

DJ Heartstrings trajectory has gone into hyper-drive with their highly infectious releases coming by way of 1Ø PILLS MATE and newly formed label Eurodance. The Berlin based artist’s palette represents a palpable, glowing representation of hyper-trance and techno, with universal appeal and fun firmly at the centre, and with this momentum DJ Heartstring brings us their debut EP on UK mainstay Lobster Theremin; four colourful, club-ready tracks, born to make you move.

The familiar, pulsating movement of classic trance blends through ‘Met Her at Bâreneck’ inciting feelings of nostalgia and ecstasy before the rays from ‘Meteora Sunrise’ warm our already sweaty faces. The track’s energy is pure in it’s delivery, embracing us like an old friend; ready to say goodbye to winter.

If you’ve heard ‘Can’t Stop The Night’ from the producers previous record on Eurodance, you will have been floored with its excerburent melodies and unforgettable hooks. On the flip, ‘The Last Hour’ carries a similar vibe, this time by way of it’s hypnotic and mind-altering potency that has all the ingredients to keep us dancing for days. ‘The Last Hour’ has many of the producer's trademark sounds, but sways in a slightly more serious direction, highlighting new sonic territories for the producer.

Closing the EP is ‘One Night In Glasgow’ which plays out like the penultimate sequence in a movie; the anticipation and heart-racing rhythms coupled with ethereal pads and trance-driven melodies spill on to the city's bustling streets, in a drama best watched front left.

For our sixth release we welcome a young producer hailing from Bogota, Colombia. Buraye has been working on his sound for almost a decade now and he’s the co-founder of the From The Void Above label, having released great records from the like of Muten, Eliaz and Do Or Die. His Transcendence EP will be released on Griffé in september 2021. The record consists of four high-energy dance-floor oriented tracks with acid, trancey and electro elements. Hybrid productions bringing both analogue and digital components to create a fractal and entheogen mood.

Following the last Ma.to's EP we joined forces with two artists taking care of music and artwork on the 4th release. The first one delivered by the infamous Italian legend Miki 'aka' Major Hypnotic Key Institute. His resume and collaboration's list are known and long enough to establish him as a pioneer and precursor of electronic and rave music since the 80s. 4 tracks ranging from slower hypnotic rhythms to speed-up marched techno/trance.

And for the occasion on the artwork we collaborated with friend and genius Conxi at Ivvoki Studio, the result speaks beautifully for itself. Proudly presenting this 4 track Ep with included a repress of an old work from Miki on Interactive Test and a Re-Edit of miki and 2Volt of an early work from the Italian synthpop electronic band A.T.R.O.X.

Bio:
Tinlicker are Utrecht based duo Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven who have been crafting their computerized soul together since 2013. Before joining forces, they individually honed their skills as part of world renowned drum 'n bass act Black Sun Empire (Heyboer) and as producer, songwriter and music editor for many artists (Van Achthoven). Their previous experience was apparent from day one of their collaborative project, resulting in an impressive
string of highly mature and deeply emotive tracks. Since starting working together they’ve quickly become a household name in the world of electronic dance music previously releasing on Armada,
mau5trap, Anjunafamily and Astralwerks. They have released their first full length album 'This Is Not Our Universe' last fall and released their remix album this past spring from the likes of Dosem, Joris Delacroix and Grum.

The release is a reference to the party sound of 90s - funny, clear and bright music with punchy kicks and running grooves. The touch of techno without any excess subliminal messages. Syberian98 goes further exploring simple tropes and melody loops. Game samples set up a computer-like joy, happiness of arcade delight. In short, these tools are dancefloor oriented to swing & rock, highly charged with love.

Maara’s latest effort comes straight from the inner zone. Whether meant for use as vision quest guidance or club hedonism, Fancy Feast continues the Canadian’s tradition of crafting seductive, trance-inducing dance music in mesmeric fashion.

‘Can’t Slo Down’ is a vehicle for transcendence. Locked-in, hypnotic fare with subtle gear shifts consistent with Maara’s propensity towards trippy atmospherics and urgent dancefloor dynamics. Then, in a heady alloy of ritual throb and fractal warehouse ruffness, ‘Highrollerz’ finds Maara at her most propulsive.

Prog reigns supreme across the record, but 'Princess Express' has the third-eye dilating magick in full effect. It’s both fractal and functional, a ritual incantation with rugged appeal. ‘Rude, Crude & Out Of Control’, on the other hand, harks back to those halcyon days of the free party movement. Proper breakbeat torque with yet another healthy dose of prog.

The next 12” release on Bonzai Classics showcases the successful collaboration between M.I.K.E. and Yves Deruyter, which continued to spawn hit after relentless hit. Resurrected from the 90s and found in the heart of Japan.
These extraterrestrial sounds were channeled live in Tokyo in 1998.

Northern Irish Techno maestro EJECA is back with his fourth full-length EP on Shall Not Fade, following up on the sublime grooves of Free From. This time round, expect high-octane drama from the off; borrowing sounds from across the hardcore continuum EJECA shows off his skill for dance music production.

Take It EP's title track is a force of bouncing hardcore, harsh synths and firey vocals which begs to be played out in the early hours for a fever-pitch dancefloor, nonstop to the end. By comparison, "Away" is minimalist. Riding on a chunky bassline, the glittering melody rises slowly to create an effervescent soundscape with a driving beat.

The peaks and drops of "Clunk" are dizzying, a tight rave-influenced number closing the A-Side; B1 "Mallusk" builds the tension with elongated pads and rolling breaks. Take It closes out with "Static", an icy crescendo of cold vocal cuts and ghostly distortion holding the line between techno and noise.

It gives me the greatest honour to finally be able to announce the release of this amazing triple vinyl masterpiece by log(m) and Laraaji on Invisible, Inc.

It's been over a decade since Laraaji first joined forces with log(m) in their Canadian studio in early 2007. In those ten years the trio recorded many hours of music. Over time these recordings, beginning essentially as live jams, were polished, dissected, processed, re-arranged and then finely and painstakingly distilled down to the 105 minutes of music that now form this album, which finally reached completion just earlier this year. The wait has been more than worth it.

The Onrush Of Eternity is a melding of minds like no other. Ever the pioneer of experimental ambience, Laraaji's signature hammered dulcimer, zither, mbira, auto harp, sruthi drone box and of course his exceedingly positive vibes are here combined with log(m)'s unique vision of gronky hi-tech psychedelic space dub. The resultant voyage into deeply meditative ambience and trance-inducing dub is as unexpected an outcome as it is a bona fide "Eureka" moment. It sounds neither like log(m) OR Laraaji....but of course like both. It is one of those rare collaborations that is, without a doubt, even greater than the sum of its already great parts.

Log(m) started making waves in the early '90s as Legion Of Green Men with their visually striking 12"s, complete with eternal opuscules (locked grooves) and mathematically inspired titles, all lovingly issued on their own Post Contemporary imprint. These deservedly got the attention of Richie Hawtin who promptly asked the duo for an album on his own classic Plus 8 Records. 20+ years later and the music (much like their name) has morphed into something more sophisticated: even more complex, atmospheric and deeper than ever.

Laraaji's reputation of course precedes him: he first came to wider attention when Brian Eno released his "Day Of Radiance" as part 3 of his Ambient Series in 1980. Since then, Laraaji has released over 40 albums, yet his stellar path seems still to be on the ascendant - a recent landmark being the 2017 "Sun" series of albums for the wonderful All Saints' Records.

This unique triple LP in tri-fold sleeve is limited to 200 copies on coloured vinyl and 300 copies on black vinyl featuring ten of log(m)'s signature eternal opuscules and cryptic engravings on all three discs.

Interstate Records is a newborn independent record label based between London and Berlin. It's run by the up-and-coming duo Dial Tone and aims to provide a vibrant and diverse platform for emerging and established artists within the Techno scene, whilst occasionally touching upon Ambient and other experimental music spheres. All records will be released on vinyl and digital.

As an introduction, the label has put together a release, comprised of some of the scene's most promising artists. Stretching from heart-melting deepness to pure club- functionality, this V/A aims to highlight the different directions ahead, as the label continues to evolve.

Based in Berlin, Glos' music has gained recognition for connecting 'yesterday' and 'tomorrow' without leaving 'today' aside. There couldn t be a better start for Interstate. Hedrome is a German brother-duo who made some serious waves since launching their own imprint Blanksheet. 'Hard Education' forms their first appearance on an external label and clearly continues
their mission. After a release on Emmanuel's ARTS label, Dial Tone, from now on, take things into their own hands. 'Edge' and 'Echoes' can be seen as a foretaste of what is to come. Inhalt Der Nacht, also known as Escape To Mars, is a core member of the Modul Crew. With highly recognized releases on Vault Series and Dynamic Reflections, he is definitely on the rise. This can also be said about Mental Resonance. With releases on Pole Group or Dyad, the Argentinian is, without a doubt, one of the most interesting Techno exports from South America. 'Equality' shows his emotionally-subtle side and sets an ideal endpoint for this V/A.

A bit of a trichery here as the first tune you hear here is the B2 from mr gasmask... A Superb Electo intro opening on a techno/electro/acid tune... and ending up inna progressive trance tune. Badass !!!

One of our most celebrated and remixed tracks gets a fresh new remix for 2020. The First Rebirth is given the knob twiddling treatment by Reinier Zonneveld, head honcho over at Filth On Acid with whom we collaborated last year on Universal Nation and, as before, you can expect to see this banging slice cut to 12” vinyl alongside the Original Mix on the flip. Reinier started classical piano lessons at just 3 years old. Years later he started to compose his own pieces, but after attending many illegal raves, he started exploring electronic music production. Spending all of his student allowance on his first synthesizers, he managed to teach himself his outstanding production skills in his student dorm. After completing two master’s degrees in 2015, he decided to dedicate all of his time and effort to his ever-growing passion: producing and performing techno music. Soon after, his tracks were already getting picked up by some of the biggest names in the scene. In 2017 he founded Filth On Acid. The label gives him full creative control and serves as a platform for his wide view on techno music. His successes include Beatport overall No.1 smash, Things We Might Have Said, which featured on his well-received artist album Megacity Servant and was also licensed to a Hollywood production. Next to this and the numerous amounts of releases from his hand, he collaborated together with Carl Cox and released two official remixes for Moby.

The remix sets off with a huge, thumping kick drum and slicing hi hats to the backdrop of an intense ambience. That ever familiar melody starts to fade in, teasing us alongside lush bass stabs. A short break reveals more of the melody before those slamming kicks return and take full control once more. The main break takes us right back to the old skool as the melody is unleashed, complete with those infectious vox sounds. The energy levels rise as we head to the climax where a raucous snare roll takes us over the edge and back to full-on mode. A top-notch techno joint that will rock the floors, no doubt.

Following the revival of the iconic 1990s dance album series, Club Culture in 2020, Stress presents Club Culture Vol. 2. Much like in volume 1, the label continue to pay homage to the UK’s rich and diverse club culture with a collection of the scene’s freshest tracks.

"Rush to Riot" is the 3rd EP to be released in mid of July 2021 on the Berlin Techno Label INHERIT. After dropping the first Inherit selection IHT S01 back in May 2021 with tracks by Bacch, Geerson, CLTX and many others we are more than happy to announce that this remarkable journey continues - not only with two more original tracks by the co-founders of Inherit, Daniel Heinrich & Disguised, but rather with two exceptional remixed bangers by Hadone & Hioll on IHT 003.

"Rush to Riot" is definitely one of the most ambitious & remarkable tracks ever published on INHERIT so far. The noteworthy collaboration between the co-founders Disguised & Daniel Heinrich brings together what belongs together: trancey basslines and melodic vibrant tunes captivating you on every dancefloor around the world.

Hadone is one of the most exciting Techno artists from France these days and without any doubt his remix of Rush to Riot adds an unique & outstanding layer to IHT 003. His well-known evocative melodies propped up on pounding kicks unite with a more forward-driven interpretation of the original track that brings so much energy to the EP.

"Against the Current" is the 2nd original track on IHT 003 by cofounder Daniel Heinrich with a remix by Hioll, one of the rising stars within the Cuban electronic music scene. While the original track with the progressive baseline by Daniel Heinrich sounds like a famous club banger already Hioll created with his remix a new and distinctive sound, hypnotic techno supported by industrial elements lifting the original track to a new level.

Inspired by electro, techno and trance, Hess Publica emerges as a sub label for Lyon based Pomme Sanguine. The project makes balance with the introspective and emotional sounds featured by the latter since 2019. Hess Publica’s first vinyl features sweet shots of acid breaks, old school techno, electro beats and classic codes of 90’s trance music, together with new school textures and samples. It is the product of 5 artists coming from interconnected European scenes with Lyon as their confluence.

Take a trip down memory lane and relive the early 90’s with Bonzai’s second foray into the compilation arena – Extreme Chapter. Originally released on CD only in 1993, the sound of the underground rose up to the masses, showcasing a plethora of top tracks and a rising talent pool within the Belgian electronic music scene. It was just 1 year since the birth of the label and already the back catalogue was stuffed with club and rave hits. The Bonzai brand soon became synonymous with banging beats and sweaty mega-raves, and all this was thanks to a huge upsurge of talented youngsters. The demand for the music was growing and collections such as this were a must have. We’ve curated a choice selection of bangers from the original release, remastered and cut to vinyl on this limited 2x12 inch release, including tracks from Traxcalibur, Belgica Wave, Joyrider, Aqua Contact, Bam Bam, Dream Your Dream, X-Change, Yves Deruyter, B.W.P. Experiments and two from Dreamland including the bonus track, Excalibur. A fine slice of wax that will fast become a very much sought-after piece.
