The second of our two part 12" sampler taken from our Leftback Vol.1 mix CD featuring four previously unreleased tracks is now available in unmixed format on vinyl. The four tracks were previously featured exclusively as part of Leftback Vol.1 with this second edition including new music from OCH, Ittetsu, Kashawar & Matthew Burton.

The inaugural release comes from Sandro Kuhne, resident and owner of SBZ and SBR, he provides two cuts for the Genetic Impression EP, two tech ho use grooves, subtle in their arrangement but powerful in the low end, effective dance floor mo
vers. Providing the remix is Romanian duo Livio & Roby, who need little introduction and deliver a solid mix, true to their name.

'Sláinte' is the third vinyl release for German based label Samani. This EP's artists hail from all corners of Europe, bringing together an eclectic taste of deep minimal vibes.

The opening track entitled 'Cosmic Soul' offers a mixture of glitchy stabs, soft atmospheres and groove. The composer Alessio Viggiano has been putting in the work recently, and this demonstrates his effort perfectly.

'Sláinte', put together by Laughing Man and label owner F.eht follows, which is a definite leg shaker on the dance floor. Funk, skippy percussion, and a vocal sample from a very special lady.

On to the B side, which starts off with a strong track from Eye Deep Leez main man - Viktor Udvari. His sound have turned many heads lately, and this one is no different. His trademark sound flows perfectly with the EP - orchestrating dreamy synths with tight percussion and a lovely bassline.

Dimitri Monev rounds of the release with 'Surge'. This brings a slightly moodier vibe to the release, and shows what this artist is capable of in the studio. Keep your ears out for this one on the dance floor later on in the night...

Norse Projekt returns with it's 5th release courtesy of Pascal Benjamin who delivers 2 original tracks heavily based around his unique sound, Raster has been remixed by Einzig who delivers his Romanian feel to the groove. Support from Raha & Rhadoo.

When you think about music, similar ideas come to mind - of course the power of sound and dance, the energy of the party because of that group-feeling of the herd, but also the fragile aspect of harmony, the quality of family that is so difficult to reach in a formation of individuals, plus that moment when the music adapts to the people, and the people adapt to the music.
Elephants are phantoms in music, they haunt dancers and listeners. But they haunt us in a positive way, to remind us with the idea that we are part of a refreshing and renewing cycle, the circle of life. This is why this elephantism' brings awareness, love and care to your sound-system, think about it and remember.
(the first track Up the Hill' starts the journey and will make you climb the first mountain, then The Groin allows you to copulate and get sexy with your crew through the tune. ELEPHANTOMS is the collaboration between HEAR & SAN PROPER, two dedicated musicians who have created this EP in Canada, Lebanon, Holland and Germany in honour of a dying breed which is close to extinction.

A newborn imprint with an obscure name makes the perfect home for Kozo to showcase some of his studio work under the ooodjkoz alter ego.
Uncle Tom's Tune needs all its 13 minutes to develop, with the melodic pattern fading in and out the wobbly baseline, like hiding from the sci fi sounds scattered throughout the track. Crafted to please crowds that enjoy to be cooked slowly, Milly Van Illy takes it to a more dynamic pace, stiching the groove beneath the percussions and storing all the energy into the hi hats. As for Lady Gargara, we're gratified with a twisted cocktail of chopped voices stuttering on broken drum loops. Uncommon as it may sound, Drag And Drob EP is here to add some spice to your record collection.

The T-Rex is loose! Roars can be heard from the house of UKTURA. UKT APA and Ascon Bates are collaborating and present UKT003. Three tracks, all of them functioning techno, take you on a trip into the past. The Elder' rousingly leads you through the prehistoric landscape and makes you curious for more. Ton' advances progressively, like escaping the T-Rex which gives up the chase in the last second. Isn't that just pure thrill! Fog and Mist' is reminiscent of a prehistoric dawn, smooth sound with rough touches. There are many ways to interpret it, but one thing is clear. All of it is techno!

He sayed also in his White Noise Show: This is a weapon for all festivals. The second track on the record is a catchy broken beats tune with a catchy chord hook. Dorisburg's first missive since his debut album, Irrbloss, is the most deadly distillation of his talents yet. Hypnotic basslines ripple out into grand atmospheric journeys, "Venom" for the black of night, "Serum" with a hint of light on the horizon.Dorisburg journeys further into the night on Venom, his first record of 2017, and it quickly found its way to Kalawila's label Mountain Explosion Device, due to the two artists having a long standing friendship that developed into a joint view of texture and sonic emotion. Having found its home, Venom burrows deep into an underground cavern, bass pulses dripping like stalactites into endless black pools of atmosphere. You journey for hours and end up in the same place. And then, just when you've resigned yourself to endless night, "Serum" is a glint of sunlight in the dark, a hint of Dorisburg's reserved optimism. You can heal yourself as long as you keep moving.

Besides publishing as Mantra in mythical labels like Bunker, Solar One Music and Abstract Acid, he has done so in Djax-Up-Beats, Crème Organization, Chiwax, Gnosis, Boe Recordings and many more with his other alias and projects: Acid Phreex, Craig Stainton, Monofonix, Myriadd, Modular Men and Nite Vision.

With this EP "The Seventh Seal" (PT009) and with its predecessor in the label "A New Day" (PT008), shows us of his mastery in the art of invoicing dance music under the different strands of acid.

Fabian Winkels and Ben Balance's Ho Do Ri project has been responsible for some of the best minimal house workouts of the last two years. Hopes are naturally high, then, for this first appearance on Mariano Mateljan's Split-based u.dig imprint. Happily, they hit the ground running with A-side "Fu Giunta 007", where fluttering, dream house style synth melodies and becalmed ambient chords wind their way around a chunky, bass-heavy tech-house groove rich in bustling bass and outer-space electronics. Their minimal instincts come further to the fore on heads-down flipside "Flood Shella", which peppers a hypnotic, locked-on groove with Villalobos style electronics and mind-altering electronic effects.

Cuplet makes a stomping return with its second release, set to become quintessential for the revived techno sound, leaving Andrei Ciubuc's imagination running wild on this 2-tracker. Both record sides, overwhelming in the low frequencies area, are painting a dark industrial canvas for Andrei's devilish signature groove, syncopated for Strei2 yet harmonized within the bassline for Cel Putin.Smoky techno, Cuplet style, coming soon on a dancefloor near you!

Welsh producer Kye has been producing for some time now, and has built a solid reputation for himself through playing out and running Dogruff with a group of likeminded friends - which has seen the likes of Barac, Rossko, Praslea and many other selectors work the crowd.

'Hopscotch Days EP' is both Kye's debut solo release, as well as being the first time his music has featured on wax - and features remixes from Rowlanz (RLZ Music) and IULY.B (Infuse/Visionquest).

Romanian up-and-comer Cosmjn (Cosmin Nastasa) with his latest Organik EP, is scheduled next at Naural Label .

Side A starts with Aster Ix, a track with simple percussion and a hard, yet smooth, bassline. The continuous pad and the occasionally sparky chords make 'Aster Ix' the perfect combination for an 8-minute track designed to keep you up. This 12-minute vinyl flaunts on the same side 'Twisted', which takes the darker side of the producer one step further. The dark track, 'Twisted', boldly surprises you with the trippy sequences of its repetitive vocals.

Side B is represented by the most complex track of the EP: 'Organik'"- a track playing with a natural groove as well as acoustic-based elements. It's a 15-minute journey with spacey and atmospheric-drone sounds that takes you far away while listening.

This November will see Amam offer up a vinyl only release from label regular Hooved, entitled 'Blue Moon' and comprising four original tracks from the Italian artist.

Gaetano Vinci aka Hooved has been releasing material since for a decade now via the likes of Thema, Safari Electronique, Apparel, Time Has Changed and of course Amam where he returns to here with a new EP. Amongst maintaining a steady quality over quantity release schedule, Vinci has also graced the likes of Katerholzig Berlin, Sonar OFF, Propaganda Moscow and Cartulis Day in London throughout his career.

With the 'Blue Moon' EP Hooved turns in a four original compositions all untitled and numbered one through four. With 'Untitled_01' the focus is laid on howling reverb bursts and swirling dub echoes smoothly fluttering around a weighty rhythmic foundation. 'Untitled_02' lays sweeping soft chords in the background as the infectious swung percussion drives the record for four and half minutes, subtly evolving and retracting throughout.

Opening the flip side we have 'Untitled_03' which takes things in a more upfront house direction with a New Jersey style bass hook, Ghetto vocal licks, 303 acid blips and raw crunchy drums, while 'Untitled_04' tips things back into darker Deep Techno realms with hypnotic stab sequences, snaking sub bass grooves and swirling percussive hits to round off the package.

The 'Blue Moon' EP from Hooved is out on Amam November 2015.

Promising imprint MINIM deliver their first Various Artists: a tasty four-pack of original mixes from a tight squad of global talents. Ukraine native Yaroslav Lenzyak kicks it off for this vinyl-only imprint with "You And Me," an ethereal, epic roller, fourteen minutes of round bass and chunky kicks with pads evoking nature's beauty from space. Fellow countryman duo ANMS follow with "Animous," a shuffling breakbeat that ebbs and flows like waves crashing on a solid 4x4 shoreline. Romanian beatmaker Octave brings the chunky breaks front and center with "The Mist," percussives building tension like a roadster charging through the night, with just enough bass wobble that you ask yourself: is this safe Time to bounce - Peruvian duo Kike Mayor & He Did bring it all home with "Volviendo A Casa," a bubbly syncopated romp with porcelain bleeps and black rubber bass.

Overdraw is back this time with Kaelan. The artist in charge offering two original driving techno cuts with some huge remixes from P.E.A.R.L. and Fundamental Interaction. Vinyl only release.

Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia aka SIT conclude their Sideways trilogy with three dancefloor oriented tracks, meant to awake different feelings in each one of us. The sample embroidery molded into the pure acid form of Angels will leave us smiling in wonder. The fast paced scratch theme from Reconnect may satisfy our dancing hunger, or we can just lose ourselves into the myriad filtered bits of Shadow, with its breaks sequence as our only guiding path.

This is the last piece of the Sideways' puzzle, when the last droplets of energy left inside our bodies, after this 15 tracks long analog ride, are spent for seizing the present. The closing moment, when the curtain falls and our minds are still trying to decipher the hidden message. A message that points out to the diversity of electronic music envisioned through SIT's creative touch.
