Subosc announces a new vinyl release by Tin Man & Foreign Material.
Born in 1978 and raised in California, Tin Man started releasing records in 2004 and established his reputation as a solid techno producer, with impactful releases on labels such as Acid Test, Killekill, and Pomelo.
Foreign Material has a Conservatoire and History background, which shaped his interest in dark atmospheres and techno music. His spirit of techno is a mix of ancient myths and futuristic visions. He is known for his releases on Curle, Norite and Supercinema.
Together they deliver a multi-faceted collaboration with 3 original tracks that provide a lush, hypnotic, mysterious, yet enticing voyage that spans across the functional and mental spectrum.
The narration is intense, at traits metaphysical and dramatic, and always evocative.
From a technical perspective, the artists provide an interesting blend of monophonic and polyphonic synths with percussive elements.
Delays and reverbs also play an important role, adding an interesting density and spatial awareness to the ground structure.
The percussive modeling is precisely coordinated with the synth action, leading to a peculiar form of ritualistic techno with stargazing effects.
In addition to the original tracks, Claudio PRC provides an impressive signature ambient techno reinterpretation of "Drowning" with an evolving and energetic yet atmospheric attitude.

SLV's "Berlin. A Portrait In Music" album on Soma receives a string of remixes from Setaoc Mass, Stanislav Tolkachev, Conforce, as well as a VIP mix from SLV himself.
Hailing from Berlin, SLV is well respected for his melancholic sound design and crystalline soundscapes having released on labels like Ilario Alicante's Virgo and Slam's Soma. Following the release of SLV's ambient "Berlin. A Portrait In Music" album, Slam's iconic label has invited a powerful selection of techno producers to reimagine a handful of tracks; Figure, Clergy and Work Them Records producer Setaoc Mass; Ukraine's master of mind-bending techno, Stanislav Tolkachev; and also Delsin regular Conforce.
"Dust" by SK_Eleven founder Setaoc Mass brings melodic flare with enveloping synths above dark rumbling lows, before SLV's injects some energy into "Talking With The Shadows" with his own Rave Mix, incorporating moody tones and slow flowing arps with dark cavernous reverb. Krill and Mord artist Stanislav Tolkachev then offers a steady beat with euphoric chimes and vinyl hiss for his stripped back "First Day In The City", preceding Dutch artist Conforce's "Forest Voices" which balances unearthly sound design and a steppy drum pattern.

Next up on Nico Stojan and Acid Pauli’s Ouïe label is the Tia EP by Cologne-based producer Jonathan Kaspar. Fitting perfectly into the label’s roster, as the 2018 predecessor Mera, this is three tracks of tricky, leftfield dance music that will appeal to the more adventurous electronic music aficionados. Lead track Tia is a brooding epic, unfolding in unexpected ways as the rougher edges give way to dreamy pads and a tight, loopy groove keeps things in motion. Bigna shares a similar aesthetic - an intricate percussive groove provides the foundation for some minimalistic synth explorations and textures. Exclusively on the vinyl release is Nea - artfully balancing dancefloor prowess with esoteric instrumentation and a minimal aesthetic. Elin rounds off the digital release, a slow burning heater with live percussion, thick bass and atmospheric pads and blasts of noise.

Luminaere wants to convey a forward-thinking approach to underground electronic music. Luminaere is glad to introduce its first release, counting label founder Daïf and respected French producer Lowris on it. Rhadoo will release his first record in three years this November! Spanning four tracks spread across two discs, Semantics will come out through Berlin-based label Nervmusic Records. It's the Romanian producer's first EP since 2015's Zanzibar on Amphia. Overall, this will be his fifth release since 2006, not counting 2013's mix for fabric. A founding member of the (a:rpia:r) label and collective, Rhadoo is one of Romania's key artists, having helped shape the country's distinctive minimal sound. Following his beautiful ‘Detroit Sunrise’ EP on the label last year, the inimitable Sascha Dive returns to Bondage Music once again for another deep frequency encounter.
The safe word is bass as Sascha picks up where he left us with two ‘Dub Chronicles’ tracks on the previous release. Now comes the third; a lavish, unhurried exploration ‘Dub Chronicles 3’ lights the fire with hazy, hypnotic charm and a spoken word well known to those familiar with the foundations.
What follows is a trip that grows in intensity and emotions. ‘Cornerstone’ is a beautiful 11pm track; fleet of foot in the kick department and arms aloft in the vibe department. Total elevation. ‘Ancient Tribal Drums’, meanwhile, takes us much deeper into the night. That rolling conga line will tie you up just the way Bondage likes it while the dubby echoes provide sense-tingling relief… Before the finale takes us to even dreamier heights. Counterchange bossman Ed Davenport returns from his Inland guise for a thumping twist of 'Red Lemon' that's equal parts pneumatic and aquatic, while Man Power breaks down the original groove to its bare-naked acid line and rebuilds it with a
crushing analog hook, off-beat timpani and a host of subtle trippy textures.

Sintope bosses NTFO return to Bondage-Music to their ‘Esperantza’ EP. Title cut ‘Esperantza’ sees the duo go to work, fusing rolling, crisp percussion with rich sub-bass, before ‘Uppercut’ interjects, unveiling a production packed full of swing, reinforced by robust drum licks, skipping hats and sweeping synths.
On the flip, the first vinyl only cut ‘Lux’ reveals a smooth, stripped back effort, with lush, deep pads floating effortlessly over hazy background textures, whilst the electro influenced ‘Avoid’ closing things out in fine fashion, as trickling lead lines flow amongst and intricate organic percussion patterns across seven minutes.
