After releasing the likes of Clio, Manna From Sky, Relock just to name a few Serkal drops Hector's second EP on the label. "...EP' includes 2 stunning club oriented tracks. He merges soulful House grooves with Techno atmospheres, driving wobbly bass-lines with rolling 4/4 percussion patterns and hypnotic industrial melodies with distorted sampled vocals. 'Mycloud' showcases the producer's aesthetic taste for powerful analogue sub lines and never-tiring loops, like being lost in a mystical fractal. 'Phil's Theme' merges Tech House relentless grooves with a dark / late night vibe, driven by a owwling synth and subtle pad sounds. The EP is backed up with Romania's prodigy Hansel: his broken Techno version of 'Mycloud' sends the dance floor into a futuristic dimension.

Keita Sano is born in 1989 in Okayama. He has released music on more labels(1080p, Rett I Fletta, Let's Play House, Mister Saturday Night, Crue-L etc.) than forests have trees. He makes a technoid yet lo-fi version of music for discotheques that's uniquely his own. He should be playing a venue near you soon, if the world is fair...
My first meeting with Keita Sano
A little over a year ago I spent a day off in the lovely seaside town Enoshima. There is a really nice club, cafe and concert venue there called Oppa-La which I had played the previous night. So my dear friend and japanese promoter Hagi tells me we should go back there the following night as there will be local bands playing followed by a live-set from Keita Sano. I was only vaguely familiar with his music but had noticed his name crop up more and more frequently so off we went.
a couple of beers later and around the third track in : somehow managing to merge the playfullness of disco with the physical impact of techno I'm sold there and then.
over a friendly chat and more beers later I clumsily present an offer to release his music and hopefully even all the things he played that night. a few days later the album as you hold in front of you AND more or less a replica of that live-set arrives in my inbox.Prins Thomas, RIF HQ Asker 13th of October 2016

In Ancient Greek Mythology, Olympos was the living place of the Twelve Olympian Gods and has inspired our limited series record label under the same name. Olympos, will release a series of Eps , with the figure of an Olympian God, from various artists which will remain unannounced until the project is complete.
Kicking off the series is Hephaestus, the god of fire and metal. ''Dounai'' and ''Lavein'' is an Ancient Greek phrase meaning give and take. A-side features ''Lavein'' which is a broken beat, glitched up number, with a rather metallic timbre. Resonances, filters, drums and arpeggiators arranged and programmed in style, resulting in a modern electronic piece with plenty of quirky, edgy vibes.On the flip side ''Dounai'' is a melodious, esoteric and slow moving late night /after-hours affair, which expands slowly and steadily over a beautiful chord progression of lush strings and sparkling pads. A steady punctuated beat rolls smoothly throughout the track, completing this EP in a misty, hypnotizing and charming fashion. One Copy per customer .

The distance from Ricardo's last field trip 'Thé au Harem d'Archimède' (PERL43) in 2004 to the present epic 5x12LP-Set is a galaxy of electronic expression through sound independent from time and pace. It is said that Funk is defined by the notes that are not being played. The space between the notes here is so vast that Funk becomes transformed into the spirit that creates unfathomable emotional adventure. The rules of dynamics between 0 and 1 shift the relation from reality to relaxation. 14 freefloat sessions are made of natural, secret ingredients from the limbic system of astro aztecs. They evolve from rituals, ending in the release of the sinuous percussion ghost from the machine who breathes out a score for easy living. Which sounds like a primordial soup aerosol of funky molecules and molluscs.

With Electro Bunker Cologne we see another highly influental German label of the 90's opening it's lost archives to cater the needs of all electronic music lovers with sweet treats.

Back in 1996, a time when Minimal Techno first emerged as anantipodeto the ongoing Rave & Trance hype, the producer named Can Oral which we all still know and love under his KHAN-moniker until this day unleashed his - Silent Movie' EP into the creative continuum of the Minimal Techno-scene, a slightly acidic, well-hypnotic and uberly thrilling gathering of five stripped down, untitled tracks that still live up to todays dancefloor standards due to their slow, but steady evolution and combination of highly effective elements which provide an essential thrill for a reason.

"The computer is my instrument and the mobile phone recorder my accomplice. Sample-based composition, improv and recordings - random moments, deconstructing context, fragmenting intonations, social interactions, textures, human behavior, surfaces, surroundings, other realities and possibilities. I settle in the realms of subjectivity.
Hidhawk is the musical alter ego of Haydeé Jiménez. The Mexican-based artist and cultural entrepreneur is running a busy life organizing events and cultural projects alongside the border of Mexico and the US. During the night, bedtime stories like Alpagain evolve from the field recordings she is collecting on her various journeys. Alpagain consists of recordings from Istanbul, Tijuana, Berlin and Salzburg, featuring sounds of alpine instruments such as the alphorn, ocarina and hammered dulcimer ( Hackbrett').
The 15 minutes track is brought to the club context on the B-side of the record with a driving remix by Gerald Peklar and a dub retreatment by Analog Solutions mastermind Eduardo De La Calle.

We are very proud to welcome a true talent to Concealed Sounds, no other than: Michael Melchner, who has been on our radar for a long time.

Melchner's very well produced and engaging releases on label like Cargo, Love letters from Oslo, Moon Harbour and lately Paragram and DoEasy, has been played by some of the underground music scene's most respected DJ's, like for example ZIP from Perlon to know name one.

Michael Melchner has also landed himself a great reputation as a DJ, thru his sets at legendary clubs like, Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson as well as being a resident at Die Rakete in his home town, Nürnberg.

For his debut 12" on Concealed he delivers two deep and mystical tracks.

On the A side we find the 11 min minimalistic and dubby techno journey: "Delta Ditch".

The B side offers a slightly more upbeat House track, entitled: "Under the Veil. A hypnotic and mystic tune with layers of deep pads, a bubbling baseline and strong focused rhythm.

The second release on TB Arthur's (312) label finds the mysterious artist revealing a collaborative project with Magda as Blotter Trax. The pair first encountered each other at the famous Motor City record store Record Time, when Detroit artist BMG introduced his then co-workers Magda and Derek Plaslaiko to Arthur, who was visiting the shop from Chicago. Sometime after that meeting, Magda and Arthur went into the studio and jammed together for a week, the session was recorded live on analog 1/4" tape and then three tracks were selected for release. 1A is six and a half minutes of modulated synth sounds that are psyched out and sci-fi, spooky and truly atmospheric. Full of cerebral cinematism, acid lines and ghoulish textures all add up to a truly standout track. 2A then marries dark wave pops and clicks, unsettling alien lifeforms and menacing, slo motion industrial drums into a physical and imposing groover riddled with paranoid sirens and drones. Last of all, 2B snakes and slithers its way through undulating drums, cosmic freakiness and gloopy synth sounds that are all seductive and subversive in equal measure. This, then, is a truly fascinating pairing.

Vakant comes back with a very special release from an unknown group of creative entities. Three cuts of tribal space techno weaponry aimed at the dancefloor. We have received a message from entities lost in between the stars in the vacuum of interstellar space. The transmission was encrypted in an ancient code we were able to translated into frequencies understandable to earthlings. A psychic telegram has been sent to us, activating the body and the mind, divided into aggregations of codes that form three tracks of straight in your face, high-octane fueled, acidic tribal techno, riding on solid bass lines, trippy synths, shiny percussions and abstract ambiences.

Väth has experienced the music as it emerged in the mid-eighties. From this moment on, he has helped to shape it year after year. Väth produced seminal music, his labels created and create its very own unmistakable brand of music, he ran a club and several booking agencies. Cocoon is a global identification mark for high quality parties and festivals. Those are major achievements, but they are overshadowed by Väth DJing abilities. Like no one else, Väth manages to capture the current figuration of our beloved electronic dance music in its entirety and melds it into a single, stirring story. In the summer 2016, Väth invited the global electronic music community to the Mediterranean island of Ibiza for the 17th time. Soft, friendly chords and bird chirps from Swedish producer Harald Björk woo us to the dance floor. The kittenish hookline is open to any kind of playful swing, yet it follows the tender, springy groove with the self-assuredness of a dream walker. Väth weaves Ripperton´s upright beats into the track, using suggestive, mysterious reverberations of a distant, graceful melody. With its delicacy, it captivates our attention becoming more and more decisive and insistent with every iteration. Melting the rhythms of Reggae and House together, Rhauder absorbs this very special mood of composed ease with an unique groove, and develops it further with an attentive, cautious voice of Paul St. Hilaire. Kamran Sadeghi's fascinating synth hooks develop complex, space-grabbing shapes reminding of clouds as they change their shapes within seconds. The groove being able to structure those intricacies without dwindling their richness. Alex & Digby translate this colossal sonic drama into a humorous, imaginative orchestra of rustling and chirping sounds.

Rous comes from Argentina. Currently living in Mendoza, the young and talented musician, producer and wine sommelier makes his mark as a DJ, live performer and restaurateur.
His music has very confident brush strokes of synthesizer magic over titillating classic analogue sounding drums. This is the sound palette with which he takes us into the raw and intense landscapes of a snowy Patagonian lake island and it's surroundings- the place where he spent a month with no communications or technology, thinking about the enormous and immersive ascendant energy from the Los Andes mountains.
In Rous' own words, "this recording expresses my intensity while growing up, my experience with masters, the natural destinies that the mountain put in front of us and the ecstasy we feel at the parties with our South American family and friends."
Once back home, he brought down the concept into an EP called "La Púrpura del Ocaso" (The Purple of Sunset) and through pounding rhythms and the constant unfolding of simple and powerful synthesizer lines, he shows us the raw power of snow, fire, water and air.
"The Purple of Sunset is born from my experience in and with Mendoza, where I've lived for four years. It starts with the learning process of strategy and alchemy behind wine; the perseverance and transcendence needed to create a product that communicates with the world. Purple is the color of wine and the sunset is the moment where the artist closes his eyes from thinking, with a glass of wine in his hand after a long day of work."

VSA records debuts with the two label founders - Vinyl Speed Adjust - forefronting two monster acid cuts - The A side "Lost and Found", makes due with some very intriguing bassline rhythms, melodies, vocal chants and breaky hi-hat patterns whilst the B side - "Black and White", seemingly continues the idea, retaining the specific Roland sound, but in a much more industrial techno fashion, with a more obvious kick drum and looped out rhythms. Hello listeners, blunt heads, fly ladies and prisoners..... This is the future of the music industry. Not the music, just the idea of the artists writing their own PR faffle. Next year I'll probably have to carry my own bags on tour too.......tragic. I have had a few years of working on other projects and shuffling about in loose trousers, but now I feel the time has come to release some more music for feet and floors. What I should say is that every time I tried to write techno/house/moonbeat in the last couple of years, everything came out as shitty tech-house.....The brain was just in an alternate mode, a mode for classical music and melody, but now it seems to have come back to techno so I here present some of its recent outpourings. It belched out Polka the first night I got back to Scotland, having left London. BabaYaga is named after a sinister-as-hell witch from a Russian story book we had as kids (check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baba_Yaga) clearly designed to traumatise young minds. My traumatised mind made this tune, so it has come full circle. Mu is slower, for lazy, emotional dancers. I hope you will enjoy them and the excellent Sons of Tiki mix of Polka that accompanies them..... Send all hate mail to Vakant, I don't read it. Alex

Who would have thought of this at the beginning of this compilation series It's letter P everybody, which means this is one of the longest running techno compilation series around! Loaded with power and purity the latest edition of our series offers you a great selection of freaking crazy and kicking techno tunes. Our last compilations followed the basic concept of good club nights with an introduction part, the peak time and some cool downs and even after hour sounds. In contrast to this we open the clubdoor with P right from the start, no time for easy chit chat and soft entries - we want to move our feet and heads right from the beginning and here we are: Mirko Loko is in control for the beginning. His track Artificiel' is energetic, crazy and minimalistic at the same time. With destroyed digital sound fragments, yet consistently demanding, Mirko Loko opens the door and welcomes you to the club of P! Wouter de Moor follows with his Tesla Coil' - a speedy acid tune that has only one message: Freak out! With the pace, the simple structure and those crazy hihats - Tesla Coil' sounds almost like an old steam locomotive. The sounds hiss and the beat rolls and the clubtrain won't stop! Einzelkind & Robin Scholz present their Rhythm Factory' project next and their mutual work n.2guts . Another kickin' acid-tune, full of power with a energy loaded forward boost. Slightly slower than Wouter de Moor but certainly with a similar vibe the two tunes act as a perfect double-pack!

With their releases together on PLEASURE ZONE with the Sishes EP and on Subtill with the Pandering EP they were very successful.
After all this fantastic tracks and drop outs we got them together for our Mupasario release on Epilog!

And we're very lucky to have this great tunes sounding like Nintendo Games in the late 80's and with the nice techno surfaces....
This brings back memories of a great times and has substantially gotten us <3
