They are here to accompany Hanno's visions, to leave their own impressions, to deliver various ingredients of personal flavour, to provide some very special and unexpected aromas to the story of 'Eastern Hemisphere EP'.
Displaying a sophisticated funkiness like in "Brown Chase" and "Waiting for My Man", Radiq takes us on a trip on a serpentine road under a clear crystal sky with uncountable stars that mark the progression of the beat.
A true gentleman, his work follows the rules of understatement. His productions are of a certain hypnotic quality which makes the listeners feel like being spellbound. Every now and then the tracks appear to be close to bursting out,
but they always keep their decency by strictly following the storyline.
However, a storyline of surprises.
Driven by a percussive impetus which incorporates both a relaxed and carried-away play of the Tablas, "Cashmir" unites an Asian view on electronic, hypnotic meditation with lively African chants to create a friendly culture clash. Japan, India and Morocco are quite close here, as if there is no physical distance. Is it any wonder that Margaret Dygas opens the space wide again to gain an illusion of distance, allowing her psychedelic elements to breathe Her extremely reductive approach is of artificially calculated colourfulness and beyond reality.
Travelling to the "Eastern Hemisphere" with the flow of the continuing story brings us back a full scale of sensations: kidnapping the listeners on a dusty road to bliss, the track develops to become a breathtaking epic. Three raconteurs from Casablanca present their skills here:
Hassan opens the view to the horizon with his Rbab play, an Arabic onestringed violin, which soon enters into a dialogue with the Arabic guitar Oud performed by Salim. Along the persuasive drive of the beat, Rachid's percussive accompaniment conducts a serious dance move.
Surprisingly, the trip develops to an almost New Music-influenced full string drama that delivers an insight into the unfathomable depths of the soul. A true professional, Thomas Melchior steps forward to keep (the seriousness on) a solemn level. Here's the opportunity to drive straightforward through the night without thinking of tomorro - because there's no need to think, just feelings: feelings lost in the trance of the desert.
But then, like a gentle wake-up call, machines whisper and murmur incantations with their voices from alien spaces to resurrect the mysterious "Romeo". It's alive... but still held in suspension between the worlds of twilight and imagination. Its communication is focused on subliminal messages.
On the contrary, Moroccan singer Khansa Batma provides a sublime message that comes directly from her heart. Her beautiful singing and telling enhances the driving Dub energy of "Bonez" and the hotness of the amazing, finely syncopated Funk/Jazz groove of "Waiting for My Man". Like an emotional prisma, her charming and stunning voice of many phrasings splits up the path of musical experience and adventure inot several romantic views to a global dancing future.

'Control' (Roberto Capuano) begins with a quarter time drum beat that centers around a high hat track. Shortly following the introduction, the melody kicks in. Drawn through a remixer, haunting lyrics join the track, 'Do you know why you're here Do you think you have control' This track would be an ideal candidate for not only underground clubs and outdoor festivals but as soundtrack for any video game, regardless of genre.
'G.O.D.' (Saso Recyd) is a fun, upbeat track that would delight any attender at a club. The song opens with the sensation of almost being on a spaceship. Soon, the synthesized melody adapts a circular tinny sound. The piece experiments with unusual noises. It sophistication and patience gives way to a versatile, stand alone, feel-good anthem.
'Taipan' (Flavio Diaz) is a dangerous, exciting instrumental track. True to its snake-inspired name, Diaz uses a static hissing sound to complement the beat. The cymbals rattle, offering even more reptilian inspiration. The energy of the track leads it to be a flawless anthem for any festival, concert, or club. It would amplify any DJ's set list and also serve as a nice base for a mash up.

My first meeting with Keita Sano
A little over a year ago I spent a day off in the lovely seaside town Enoshima. There is a really nice club, cafe and concert venue there called Oppa-La which I had played the previous night. So my dear friend and japanese promoter Hagi tells me we should go back there the following night as there will be local bands playing followed by a live-set from Keita Sano. I was only vaguely familiar with his music but had noticed his name crop up more and more frequently so off we went.
a couple of beers later and around the third track in : somehow managing to merge the playfullness of disco with the physical impact of techno I'm sold there and then.
over a friendly chat and more beers later I clumsily present an offer to release his music and hopefully even all the things he played that night. a few days later the album as you hold in front of you AND more or less a replica of that live-set arrives in my inbox.Prins Thomas, RIF HQ Asker 13th of October 2016

After nearly a year since their sophomore album 'The Other', Pan-Pot return home to Second State with a stunning EP showcasing the duos proficiency for composing dynamic, cutting-edge Techno. Over the span of three tracks, 'Solace' EP navigates through a trifecta of distinct styles that unquestionably bear the mark of Pan-Pot's masterstroke. Kicking it off at a breakneck pace is the title track 'Solace' with rapid fire low end and intense tones laying the bedrock for a wildly uplifting presentation of keys creating the ideal balance between opposing forces. Up next is 'Consequence' which see the duo team up with Martin Eyerer for a newly styled trip down memory lane. By pairing key elements of the sounds of early Pan-Pot and contemporary production, the trio have succeeded in conceiving a fever inducing, big room hit. Rounding out the EP is 'Lose Yourself' and it is by far the most grandiose of the trilogy. Lush pads and soaring sonic stairs build toward a zenith as the ceaseless chant of "lose yourself" escorts the traveller through an elated dream. Although it's been a year since we last saw Pan-Pot on Second State, once you experience 'Solace', we think you'll agree, it's good to have the bosses back home.

Blossom Kollektiv returns again with a new vinyl release that showcases the labels organic growth from passionate beginnings to a name that is established in the minds and hearts of many. Label co-founder Jepe has put together a very exceptional release that is sure to warm the hearts of Blossom fans around the world. The EP features one track from Jepe with remixes from Patrick Zigon, Joel Alter, and label mate Leo Wölfel.

The title track 'Amaebi' immediately whisks us off to a beautiful land with commanding drums, lush pads and graceful synth stabs. Paired together with moving percussion the piece is carefully crafted for moments on the dance floor that will be the highlight of the night for anyone looking for a deep moment to lose themselves in.

Moving on to Patrick Zigon's interpretation he presents a more playful version while never losing the core deepness of the original and taking it even deeper. Playing heavily with dubby pads and abstract synths he completely transforms Jepe's original into something fresh that will work flawlessly in many moments in the night.

Turning the disk over we reach the B-side remixes. The first remix from Iron Curtis showcases a solid deep house vibe. Keeping the pad from the original but toying with the elements and adding a funky bassline he revamps the original into a different vibe that it's beautiful and moving all at the same time.

Continuing on with our deep exploration of 'Amaebi' we come to Joel Alter's interpretation. His version provides a reconstruction of the original with a soft rumbling bassline and subtle acid synth stabs that take the listener to a place they have yet to travel on this musical exploration.

Finally finishing things off is label mate Leo Wölfel's solid floor filling version of Jepe's original. This version is intended to take you straight to the dance floor with its more upbeat approach but without loosing the elements of the original that took you to a magical place to begin with.

Not many labels make it to release number fifteen, let alone year 15, but that's exactly the milestone the Moon
Harbour family is celebrating throughout 2015. Headed up by esteemed DJ, producer, remixer and
Circoloco/DC10 Ibiza resident Matthias Tanzmann and manager André Quaas, the Leipzig based label has lasted
so long on account of it having always moved ahead of the times. Celebrated for its diverse output from tech
house to minimal to deeper club sounds, the label's ever evolving roster of artists is like a who's who of the
contemporary scene.

As Matthias Tanzmann puts it looking back at the development of the label: 'I was still pretty young when we
started the label in 2000, so we have all grown up together for 15 years now. Moon Harbour is like my child. I am
happy many artists joined the family or became good friends and that the label has become a home for all of us.'
Next to core family members and label acts like Luna City Express, Sable Sheep, Marco Faraone, Sven Tasnadi,
Dan Drastic and the boss himself are new school talents and carefully A&Red artists like Adam Port, Re.You,
Ekkohaus, wAFF, Cuartero, Steve Lawler, DJ T., Chris Wood & Meat, Butch and Detlef.

The label has built up an exceptional canon of music that's lead to the release of no less than 100 EPs, five artist
albums and ten label compilations. It makes dance floors move hours and hours, but also sticks in the minds
much longer thanks to its real sense of invention and originality. This has been proven by big Moon Harbour hits
such as Sable Sheep's 'Upon Burning Skies', the summer hit of 2013, Santos' 'Hold Home', but also Matthias
Tanzmann's 'Bulldozer' and his remix of Marlow & Delhia's "Movin" back in 2006, which took Moon Harbour to
the next level in terms of international awareness.

Thanks to the reputation of the label, Moon Harbour label showcases are a solid addition to globally
acknowledged festivals and events such as the Miami Music Week, Sónar week in Barcelona, the Amsterdam
Dance Event and at various places in Ibiza, to name a few.

The monthly Moon Harbour Radio show, hosted by Dan Drastic, has meanwhile clocked up more than 60
episodes and is available as a podcast at iTunes and on Soundcloud and Play.fm, as well as being broadcasted
through various international radio stations such as Ibiza Sonica. It has established itself with fans as a reliable
source of new music and information from the Moon Harbour label and its artists.

To celebrate all this there will be a Moon Harbour tour around the world, which kicks off at the Sónar week in
Barcelona. Additionally there will be an anniversary compilation with exclusive tracks by Moon Harbour artists and
friends, as well as rereleases of the most successful tracks from the last 15 years.

It might have been around for 15 years then, but Moon Harbour and its ever evolving family still very much lead
from the front.

Originally released on Richie Hawtin's Minus label a decade ago, Restore stands alone as Houle's very first long-player and helped to establish his penchant for the quirkier side of techno and his superlative production skills. Spread across three 12s & 11 tracks it encapsulated the dark, minimal, groove-driven sound purveyed by Hawtin and the rest of the Minus crew, while retaining a strong sense of Houle's unique character and identity. Now it's the perfect time to breath new life into an album that has stood the test of time, still utterly infectious and absorbing - a collection of music that captures an era of stripped back, yet captivating sounds. 10 years since its release, the album is getting the remix treatment and Marc has called in some of the very best in techno talent to give Restore a fresh makeover. The selection of artists who've contributed to the 'Restored' project includes heavyweights such as Joris Voorn, M.A.N.D.Y. and Popof together with additional reworks from stars of the new generation such as Danny Daze, Julian Jeweil and Harvard Bass, all giving his tracks a new lease of life. In addition, Houle himself has also stepped up to offer a new contemporary take on his own music, collaborating with vocalist Genevieve Marentette on 'Demor'. 'Restore was the beginning of it all for me. It was influenced by the sounds of Detroit and the endless parties I went to there in the 90s. It was my first album and to me it had the perfect balance of darkness, groove and electronic sounds. 10 years later, I am excited to present Restored with some modern interpretations on old tracks by some friends and colleagues who have kept the party going throughout the world."- Marc Houle

The German producer unveils his unique soundscapes by delivering seven tracks which are deeply rooted, once again, in harmony and emotion. Löffler's unique sound based on an intense melancholic feel brought him a busy touring schedule performing at clubs and festivals all over the world. He sticks to his calm approach to electronic music and proves, through his live-sets, that emotions control the dance floor, creating a real sense of euphoria. His experiences on the road are reflected on Young Alaska,' which is largely inspired by these journeys and places he has visited. From the peaceful landscapes of the title track to the melodramatic heights of Mt. Grace,' he took Notes' back home to transfer the impressions into his music. Songs like Beirut , Veiled Grey' and Alpine Sketch' are very diverse but come together harmoniously on this release. As on his debut album, he once again collaborates with Danish vocalist Gry and Me Succeeds lead-singer Mohna on All Comes' and Beirut.' Ki's the Japanese word for tree. And like a tree the so titled label stroke it's roots deep into cologne soil since 2009. It build up a solid stem of international artists that grew along the way since the label's start. Sometimes technoish, melancholic or playful electro pop infused with vocals - the Ki releases are diverse in sound and genre, but related in quality. It's not Ki's thing to stick to one direction.
