Approaching it's 10th year Anniversary, Blkmarket Membership launch their record label. Kicking things off with an E.P by New Yorker Sergio Dimoff. This is an introduction for what is to come. And so it begins...

My Favorite Robot very much prizes quality over quantity, and so it is that they offer up their carefully chosen autumn vinyl release, namely another landmark EP from key label artist Eric Volta. Fleshing out his killer originals are remixes from Swiss star Deetron and Volta as Voltaeric.
Volta is a synth whizz who crafts cinematic, epic, emotive music for this label as well as No.19 Music. He has emerged as a real star in the last year or so and is able to marry dance floor clout with a truly cerebral sense of musical storytelling.
It's that kind of musical narrative that he offers up here to great effect with an EP which starts off with a scene-setting recording of some frightened breathing and a torturous synth line that grows unbearably loud then dissolves to a post apocalyptic hum. It's unsettling but really gets your attention before 'Until I Dissolve' drops, an absorbing brew of searching sci-fi synths, wood block hits and thick melodic gurgles. A spoken word vocal muses up top and the result is a truly dark and futuristic groove.
'Heartbeat II: Cry' is two minutes of excellently evocative sound design, pained synth lines and cosmic energy that really makes this EP feel like a story, then we have 'Deliquesce', a Vangelis like prog track rich with reflective chords and rippling melodies that really tugs at the heartstrings.
Deetron- a real house and techno specialist who has proven himself in both EP and LP format over the years- remixes this one into a more slow burning but all consuming main room track with bold drones and glassy melodies. He also offers up a beatless dub that is equally engaging as it grows ever more manic. Finally Volta remixes his own 'Until I Dissolve' into a whacked out,
synth laden techno cut that is brilliantly dark and weird. Few EPs feel like as fully realised a sound world as this. Even more impressive is that Volta never loses sight of a dance floor groove whilst telling his compelling synth based stories.

Real recognise real is what they say so this colaboration is no coincidence.

Since then he's established relationships with some of Ovum's most respected, progressive contemporaries - Defected, Mobilee, Get Physical, Be As One - but now the Israeli craftsman is back at his spiritual home with three of his biggest tracks in recent times. Get to know: Lean, stark, iced-out, 'Raver' was tailored for Ovum. Every element plays a key role, from the oak-trunk kicks to the bellowing subs to the demonic downpitched spoken sermon by way of the life-support machine rhythmic texture... Everything comprised to create a subtle, restrained but wholly dark tech groove that refuses to quit. With a refreshing sense of contrast, 'Optical' slaps hard from the off as a plucked riff springs from out of nowhere. A true drama-raiser that fluctuates back and forth, causing every other element from the kicks right the way up to the percussion to follow its tense pattern. Drop this and watch the panic unfold before your very eyes. Finally we hit 'Akasa'. Tapping into the EP's heritage theme with its timeless, almost bouncy acid line, Gel establishes a tangible sensation of physical funk with increasing percussive elements and a synth lick that gets decidedly trippy and unpredictable. The type of track that takes you to destinations without you even knowing you wanted to go there, it's a fitting ending to an EP that's been long overdue...

Machines do speak a language understood and appreciated by humans. Measured by the success of Skudge, an artistic duo that has delivered a lot in a very short time. Combining their inspiration and talent through wires and analogue equipment, they seem to always present something new - in a very faithful style. What remains most significant on their output through the main label Skudge Records, as well as their remix material present on a row of different labels, it must be their exceptional sense of loops and unexpected detail in their productions.

Mallorca s Dakpa has been on a roll since AMAM released his debut EP last fall. He has contributed to several compilations, including AMAM s own Hand Out series, Kina Music s Fade to K pt. 3 and Wizz Vinyl s Sonar Sampler 2014, plus EPs for labels like District Raw and Serial Number 849. But AMAM gets the honor of issuing his first own vinyl release, the Distres EP. The opening title track is an exercise in jacking minimalism, vibrant tech house with just the essentials, but more than enough to get the floor moving. Then, Ademus gets into a slightly more colorful groove, with tropical percussive interplay and some whooping voice for a humanistic accent (is that Brigitte Bardot). On the flip, Virgo gives a modern update to the frenzy of acid house. the title alone brings Virgo Four to mind. On that note, this one is an effective tool for warping minds and evoking spastic dance moves. Finally, the dependable Gaetano Vinci a.k.a. Hooved reinterprets Ademus with a heavy dose of melodic funk and symphonic washes, making the track into an entirely new creation. But wait, there is more! Our prodigious producer gave us two additional tracks, Marius and Evolution, that were not able to fit on the vinyl, but we are happy to share them with you exclusively as digital downloads, rounding out the release in truly multifaceted form.

Late&Cie is Guillaume Val and Paul Cut's collaborative project. The first finished results of this project are four hypnotic house ballads tinted with Paul's keyboard improvisations. The rhythmic energy going on from the first beat, textures,, loops, form the essence of OEM's atmosphere.

Marino Canal returns to MOOD with a follow up to his 2014 'Percolate' EP and his wonderful remix of label boss Nicole Moudber's 'Her Dub Material', a mix that's still doing the damage for so many. As he prepares for the summer's season madness, Marino very kindly eases in with his trio of new tracks that see him take us on a quite unexpected but most welcomed tangent.

Continuing the deep and dubby flavour that Nicole left us with, Marino opens his latest EP with the title track, 'Strain'. Belying its title, the opener shows no sign of taut, sinewy or stressed beats. Instead we are treated a warm, deep and hypnotising house cut. The mesmeric 'Mercurial' is up next with its contrasting warm piano chords and icy ivory melody, before Marino closes the EP with the dub daubed sound of 'New Order'.

It's time to present HUND Records 003. The third release of the new born label is a really minimal bomb. The 2 originals are made by a serious work by Dubfuss and Phatool, HUND resident djs and also co- owner of the same name label. DubTool 1 is a track with some dark infuences while DubTool 2 is a pure dance foor track.

The 2 remixes are the real release diamonds. In the frst side we fnd the new Mannheim talent: Fabe. Fresh after the Fuse release he gives us his frst ever remix done to perfection. Percussion and vocal are ftted together in a track that will remain in our head for a long time. Instead in the second side we fnd an artist with an ascertain talent: Alci. Famous for his past releases in ones of the most important label like Robsoul and Apollonia, here he lets rip us his new and fresh version. A track with a huge bassline which bring us into the Apollonia sound. These works are already played by artists like: tINI, Brett Jacobs, Dan Farserelli and more others. Complete release is only vinyl and limited to 300 copies.

Act-Fact Records did it again! For the 4th and Last EP of the first year, We chosen to release a 100% Romanian album, produced by the talented Sorin Milea, DJ and founder of "Deep mix Bucharest" . The excellent Remixes comes by 2 of the greatest producers of the moment Radu Mirica and Gri. This album is the demonstration that the imagination in music has not limits!

Rome's Goa Club first choice Simona Calvani AKA DJ Red debuts on Darko Esser's Wolfskuil Limited series with "Raw Cacao EP", following her brilliant "Underwater" EP on Speedy J's Electric Deluxe imprint, last summer.

Subsequent to Shlømo's stomper 'Vanished Breath EP', the limited series of its parent Dutch Wolfskuil imprint delivers a good showcase of DJ Red's refined, personal touch on one side, then altered in its basics within Ricardo Villalobos' unique sensitiveness on the other.

'Raw Cacao' opens the EP with a finely crafted production, which maintains its addictive groove and sensual attitude throughout the track, while on the filp side the mighty Ricardo Villalobos keeps working his magic on the rendition of DJ Red's original cut, offering a standout, lush remix that is hypnotic, atmospheric and playful, all in equal measures.

We are still looking for special sounds and this time is the turn of the German duo Einsauszwei, beauty and elegance for their first track "Poly" , mixing and fit perfect with the dancing second track: "Drop". We add one remix from Reelow, you can feel the power of this artist in all of his work and for us always is a pleasure release with him.

Hot on the heels of Refraction Vol. 2, Residual welcomes the return of long time friend John Tejada. The prolific programming master serves up salacious selections that are searing to say the least. The lead track Jaco is a Pepe Bradock influenced piece the twists and turns with breaky beat work. The numbers on the B side are firmly focused on filing the dance floor. Round the Outside shows Tejada in top form. Upfront drums and basslines perfectly paired with flittering melodies. Repurposed is more minimal in form but no less effective. Quirky tweeks along cascading riffs.

Two terrific wave inspired tracks by Marc Houle on Innervisions, backed with two divers reworks by Red Axes and The Golden Filter.
