Paragram is now on to its fourth installment, and gladly welcomes a new member to
its family, Michael Melchner.

After several releases on respected labels such as Love Letters from Oslo, Moon Harbour, Cargo Edition and Eklo, the talented Berlin producer now announces his 12" debut on Paragram.
The ep , composed by three tracks, each one complementing the others, is a combination of futuristic beats , deep hypnotic basslines and slick glitchy percussions moving in and out of the arrangement.

ESSPAPIER - ein Name, ein Programm. Zwei Absolventen höherer - oder besser - "anderer" Kunst. Fern von Norm. Nah am selbst. Aber eben nur nah. Die zwei Alzenauer Buben sind eine feste Institution in der Hessisch-Bayrisch liegenden Grauzone Alzenau, die dort nur als Gallien bezeichnet wird.

In ferner Zeit einem Frankfurter Kult-Club nach langjähriger Residency den Rücken gekehrt, verschlossen sie sich beinahe die letzten drei Jahre im schönsten Party-Hotel Deutschlands, dem wohl legendären Club Digital - gemeinsam mit Anhängern ihres minimalistisch verspulten Sound, dem sie entgegen vielen anderen treu geblieben sind.

Eine CD-Compilation für den Club, die noch in diesem Jahr auf Audiothentica erscheinen soll, ist der Grund dafür, das die beiden Herren sich für die mittlerweile fünfte Veröffentlichung auf dem lebendigen Label verantwortlich zeichnen.

Die Tracks benötigen weniger eine Beschreibung als die symphatischen Jungs. Auf der A-Seite rückt ein völlig neuer und einzigartiger Sound in den Vordergrund. "Epiphanias" ist eine Explosion - wenn man sie lässt. Auf der B-Seite zieht "Dead Beat" den Hörer in einen 10 Minuten und 23 Sekunden langen Bann. Wundervolle Produktionen, die sich - und auch ESSPAPIER, auf schwarzem Gold verewigt haben!

Space is the place! After his travel in the universe, RVDS is back on earth with his first result of 'out-of-space' travelling: the 'SPACE EP", starts with three rhythm tracks, a tribute to the Roland machines 808, 606, 727. Besides the 1st track is an Electro hymn like the ones of E.R.P., the 2nd and 3rd tracks are the finest rhythm tools which force you to dance on the moon. The last track is a great ambient piece, familiar to RVDS work with Lawrence and Chrisitan Naujoks on their project 'SKY WALKING". Endless space ... Another Special is the Artwork, cause each sleeve comes with a unique handmade drawing by RVDS himself. Art and Sound in Space!

Although Berlin based producer, DJ and live act Re.You has never had a full release on Moon Harbour
before now, he appeared on the Shades of White EP alongside Philip Bader back in 2013. Now
though, this three track solo outing confirms him as a perfect fit for the label.

In the past four years, German born Marius Maier has won himself a lot of fans and admirers thanks to
his releases on labels like Mobilee, Souvenir and Saved Records, so his credentials are well assured.

Title track 'Don't Stop' is a loose and playful thing that chucks loopy, circular drums, little vocal riffs,
synth stabs and tumbling toms into the mix and lets them all groove along for almost six infectious
minutes. It's a spritely, silvery and slithering concoction that makes you shake your every limb.

'Stare' is a deeper, darker thing with rattling snares rolling over flappy kick drums and wobbling synths
ducking in and out of the space left behind. It's a tumultuous, drum lead affair that toys with your
expectation, threatening to drop or explode but never quite doing so, instead keeping you right on the
edge of your seat throughout.

The final offering is 'Nian' which again has super well defined drums and hits all tumbling and sparking
off each other. It's spacious stuff, too, and the indecipherable foreign language vocals add another
layer of intrigue to what is already a fascinating cut.

If you've ever heard drums as pristine and metallic, as shiny and glistening as these made by Re.You,
then do let us know... they are things of wonder that demand you dance in their presence.

Alfonso León is a young dj and producer hailing from Santiago, Chile.
His native hometown exposed him to a vibrant and exciting electronic scene early on, and he soon released his very first track on the Loveparade Chile 2005 cd under the pseudonym Skyfonik to enthusiastic reviews.
Gigs and tours came right after, and no wonder he moved on very quickly to join the international roster of music makers and performers under the wing of Luciano and his Cadenza family.

In 2012, Alfonso was welcomed on board Ibiza's sensational "Luciano and Friends" for a weekly residency on the island's hottest venue, Ushuaïa, and then he was invited to play at the swinging Cadenza Vagabundos parties.
Appearances at Sankeys, Bubbles and Ibiza Global Radio followed shortly.
Back in Chile, he took part in the first ever Vagabundos Party held at Mysteryland Festival.
The spring of 2013 saw the young gun embark on a big European tour along with Luciano, Carl Craig and Dj Sneak to name a few.

This ep on Memento Records sees him take his production skills to the next level. "Vinyl Compresòr"'s soulful melodies and tribal percussions are matched by a deliciously funky and luscious bass line, until acid synth stabs open the way to a low-pitched, creepy, almost manic dark vocal that crawls along the groove.

Fabrizio Maurizi's unique taste resonates hugely in his remix: a computerised, robotic low frequency bounce underpins a loopy rework of the dreary vocal, bringing its more rhythmical and human elements to the fore, marrying them to the relentless beat.

Versatile 3 track techno ep on the new Valence label all with a knowing nod towards dancefloor hedonism. "And" is a rolling 909 clanger, while "Or" slips into dubby Berlin vibes. Neue EP der kanadischen Künstlerin Maya Postepski aus der Indie/Electro-Szene Torontos, die Mitglied der famosen Electroband Austra (Domino) und eine Hälfte des Electroduos Trust (Arts & Crafts) ist. Nach ihrem Debütalbum "Lossless" in 2013 ist "Lossy" ein erster Teaser zu ihrem anstehenden zweiten Werk "Progress", das im Laufe des Jahres erscheinen wird. After nearly eight years since their euphoric debut long player; 'Panorama', stratospheric goals have been achieved in the worlds of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix commonly known as Pan-Pot. Relationships bloomed and wilted, adventures were embraced, a label was conceived, a baby was born. All this whilst cultivating one of the heaviest and most consistent tour schedules of any present-day artist. By no means was it due to lack of time or ideas that resulted in the distance between studio albums, but rather a carefully calculated unfolding of moments to conceive and construct their brand new, highly anticipated second studio album; 'The Other'. First southamerican artist on Gold Rcrds is Colombian producer Mooner GL and his demos rocked so hard that Rainer Weichhold couldn't resist at all to sign him for his label. Also remixer Matt Star couldn't resist to accept the remixrequest to add his trademark style, which he did with all his class. So bravo for this 8. Gold Record.

A kicking dancefloor anthem with sultry vocals lamenting of forbidden love... with 'Sparks Fly' Marquez Ill and Leigh Myles have once more created a fusion of punchy rhythms and sassy vocals. A love-song Maybe, but in the darkest, twisted most danceable sense. The M.in remix strips the track back to basics, focussing on a sparser more percussive sound. Sid LeRock throws his passion into the track with a remix that makes a feature of Leigh's vocals, adding slick effects and textures over an infectious rhythmical backdrop. Finally, 'Sparks Fly' gets an original electro makeover by Christian Gleinser. Soaring synths and a punchy electro beat give it a timeless, sleazy dimension.

Cocaine Death is a compilation of three of Prurient's most sought-after cassette releases: 2007's' 'Cocaine Death', 'Caribbean Overdose' and 'Tylenol Murders', eventually compiled as 'Cocaine Death' for a CD release in 2008. This is the first time this collection has ever been available on vinyl, now fully remastered for the format. Cocaine Death brings together several strands and signifiers from the Prurient catalogue, containing some of its most visceral and experimental works, alongside some of its most evocative. From the arpeggiated/submerged noise of opener 'Pretext (Bahamian Burial)' to the padded, pulsating closer 'Postscript (Coke Cunts)' the material here explores the relationship between futile pleasure, substance and escape; escape being a myth.Cocaine Death (originally C-10 packaged in an envelope, limited to 46 copies) is one of the most sought after Prurient cassettes. The content is based on the glamour and destruction of toxic nightlife. Caribbean Overdose (originally a C-10, packaged in a standard shell package and limited to 100 copies) explores a different but strangely direct topic of the sexual reproductive life of plants. Further examination into the life of scientific advancement and education. Tylenol Murders (originally a C-10, packaged in an oversized envelope and limited to 10 copies) takes the sounds and concepts of the aforementioned releases and expands the sounds to further limits of cracked static, strained vocals and strange melodic loops.

Last May saw the release of Illogical Directions, the third album by Shinedoe, to be released with critical acclaim. Surely a mesmerizing highlight in the artist's career, the album represents several deep and melodic excursions in nowadays deep and tech house, while her own imprint Intacto Records also added a beautiful gem in its discography.

Now the Amsterdam based DJ delivers another momentum for the world famous label, with an impressive line-up of producers reshaping some of her already monumental tracks into something completely new. Yes, the remixes are upon us!

Illogical Directions The Remixes Part 1
Part 1 features an elaborate version of Panomanic, delivered by the one and only Ellen Allien, who lets the original house groove get overtaken by fierce basslines, oldschool rhythms and synth lines. And then there's Fe-Male, one of the most hypnotic housetracks featured on Illogical Directions, now turned into a slick minimal techno groove by Spanish duo Pig & Dan.

Creating subtle vibes at the start of the album, Essence now gets Mathias Kaden's signature when it morphs into a bass driven techhouse crowdpleaser, definitely one to get things going! Finally it's up to Douglas Greed to create a totally other scene for Discourse My New Romance, one of the key tracks of the album, featuring the vocals of The Knife's Karin Dreijer. This time the darkness of the original turns into pleasantly schizophrenic house music bringing just as much freakiness as dance floor glamour.

After an 8 month long break, Sylphe is back, this time changing things for the first time with a solo EP by the B side dweller, Micawber. He is delivering two solid, thumping techno cuts in the well-known mystifying Sylphe mood. On the A Side we have ''Fasma'', a rolling, melancholic techno jam. Sparkling rhythms meet lamenting melodies in a 10 minute trip of bubbly sub-basslines and transcendent grooves. On the usual B side Micawber is delivering Yenbashu. A psyched-out trip into electronics, it moves swiftly into an experimental territory of madness, full of edgy and shuffled up beats. Both cuts remain true to the sound Sylphe has forged, albeit taking a sharper turn and evolving naturally.

A track like the heat dancing on the horizon in the heart of Africa. "Puttin 'OnThe Green Hat" draws
its energy from the deepest suspense of earthy bass drums, playing and twirling effortless tech-house
rhythm. Hypnotic spoken-word from Mantombe Matotiyani (Amampondo) leads with a headstrong,
bewildering vocal, like the singing of a shaman through a deep trance. Pure life energy conducted
through every single tone and united like a magical formula of music and dance; the five elements
together:
"Through vibration of sound (air)
the body 's dancin' arround (fire)
the feet start to move,
the ground rumbles to the groove (earth),
the sweat flows like a river (water)
brings enlightenment to its giver (spirit)"
"Puttin' on the Green Hat" stands for something much more than mere clothing
accessories. The green hat is a part of a creative technique from Edward de Bono,
known as the "Thinking Hat" or also "6 Thinking Hats". Every hat has a different
color and has a different meaning:
The red hat: emotional thinking
The black hat: critical thinking
The yellow hat: optimistic thinking
The white hat: analytical thinking
The blue hat: ordered, moderated thinking
The green hat: creative thinking
The aim is the solution of a task from every point of view and thereby reaching the best possible
result. The green hat as a symbol of creativity and ideas is mirrored in the remix-concept. For the
first three, the venerable master of electronic dance music has consciously brought together artists
with different styles and influences.
The beginning is brought to you by his Italian associate Nihil Young who has released a number of
EP's and albums on his label Frequenza Records among which are "Rave - O - Lution" with Alex
D'elia. In late summer the release of Thomas Lizzara's (Ostfunk Rec. Berlin) version along with Ingo
Boss (Cocoon Recordings). Added to that there is in September the POTGH remix contest, whereby
2 further versions will complete the 6-piece collection. The selected mixes will serve as a starter
release on Dr. Motte's label PRAXXIZ, as well as perform at the next label event.

Und nachdem das Musik Krause Quartett von Schleck&Stecker schon für die letzte Pentatones-EP einen Remix beisteuerte, haben sich diesmal die Labelmacher persönlich an die Regler gesetzt. Das Krause Duo gewohnt ungewohnt. So haben wir das gerne. Und Ezeqiuel Esley, mit Sweet'N'Candy ebenfalls am - Miti & Halp' Projekt beteiligt und jüngst mit eigener EP auf Lebensfreude, schlägt den Bogen zurück nach Argentinien. Auch dies macht uns Freude und macht aus Utopien erfreuliche Realitäten...

The long-term friendly cooperation of WARE and LEBENSFREUDE shows fruit again. After his remix for Gunne and participation in the German-Argentine "Miti & Halp" project once again a full EP of Mathias. We are delighted! And so after the quartet of MUSIK KRAUSE Schleck&Stecker already for the last Pentatones contributed a remix EP, have this time set the label owner personally to the regulator. The Krause Duo usual unusual. So we have the love. And Ezeqiuel Esley with Sweet'N'Candy also at "Miti & Halp" project involved, and more recently on its own LEBENSFREUDE EP, suggests the bow back to Argentina. This also makes us happy and makes positive utopias realities ...
